The day of 21st March holds special significance in the realm of Faqr and Sufism. It is the day when, on 21st March 2001, Sultan-ul-Faqr VI, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Muhammad Asghar Ali (Mercy of Allah be upon him), bestowed the Divine Trust (Amanat) upon his spiritual confidant, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen (may his sanctity be exalted), by the command of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny).
