The day of 21st March holds special significance in the realm of Faqr and Sufism. It is the day when, on 21st March 2001, Sultan-ul-Faqr VI, Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Muhammad Asghar Ali (Mercy of Allah be upon him), bestowed the Divine Trust (Amanat) upon his spiritual confidant, Sultan-ul-Ashiqeen (may his sanctity be exalted), by the command of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him and his progeny). This Trust is the one about which Allah says: "Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens, the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and were fearful of it. But man assumed it."
