She can be very persistent in getting someone's interest and will wait to finally make them hers. She's very self-centered and loves to look at herself in mirrors and talk about her appearance. Background: She is a noted Black Hat member who is also an ancient succubus who has fought to seduce and enslave people to her whims for years. She also had an encounter with Dario Polo which led to them sleeping with each other and her eager now to one day get him to be one of her harem members.

Here are my HCs for Yuriy

What they smell like:

He isn't one for cologne or aftershaves much unless he's going out for the evening. For a regular day a little deodorant is all he needs. His natural 'Yuriy' smell has a hint of musk, and fresh out of the shower is clean, unscented soap but he likes coconut scented shampoo and conditioner. He smells good even when he's sweaty.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

Chronic insomniac, but when he does sleep, it's on his back, a habit from the Abbey he just can't shake quite yet. He sleeps better when he has the quiet breathing of someone next to him.

What music they enjoy:

He'll listen to anything, he needs background noise to stop his mind going into overdrive when it's too quiet. Although he likes classical music quite a bit, and will often listen to classic rock, rock and a bit of heavy metal depending on his mood.

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

Oh FAR too long when he was a teenager - his hair took a solid long while. As he grew older he decided the stiff arms and shoulders he got from creating that hairstyle wasn't quite worth it anymore. But now, his hair doesn't take as long (but the 'messy bun' isn't as low effort as it looks), picking out his clothes takes just as long even though he looks like his outfit barely varies day to day.

Their favorite thing to collect:

Stationery items. Has a huge collection of pens, post-its and nice, pretty papers. He barely uses any of it but likes looking at it.

His parents were religious and he did like going to the ___ church near their home because of the architecture, but he isn't religious - wasn't even when he was a child when his questions of "Why did God do ___?" were met with shushing instead of answers. He's been through enough to believe that if there existed a deity, they weren't a kind one and he doesn't want to associate himself with them.

Favorite sport:

Football (soccer) and prefers the forward position - what little he enjoyed of Beyblade was beaten out of him in the Abbey, he'll ski, he's good at it but doesn't see the point of having to go all the way up and then just come back. He deemed it Sisyphian and left it alone. He does like to watch curling on tv though, and is also pretty good at ice hockey.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):

All the possible musuems, art galleries and local, especially the old architecture is what he wants to see. He'll click a thousand pictures and there will be exactly one (1) blurry selfie which he hates 'cause his hair didn't look right. He'll try the local food, especially the street food and try to speak with the people of that place in what little phrases he knows - he has an ear for languages and picks them up very easily.

Favorite kind of weather:

Heavy, heavy snow. Thick blanket of it everywhere is when he's happiest.

A weird/obscure fear they have:

Anatidaephobia - the first time he tried duck coincided with a time when Kai was pissed off at him. Annoyed, Kai told him that the duck's family was watching him, went on in excruciating, made up detail and Yuriy got a little freaked out and believed that 'a duck watching you' phobia was real for a whole hour. Kai maintains it was funny to this day, Yuriy has other feelings about it.

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:

No one can beat him at air hockey, he's far FAR too quick, and he's pretty decent at the 'grabber' game - always wins little toys which he brings home proudly.

Neoborg and cooking

Ian: Doesn't know how to cook but acts like he does. Ian is always giving everyone else culinary advice that sounds sensible on the surface but actually isn't. Funnily enough, people believe him when he says he can cook, but the belief only lasts so long.

Bryan/Boris: Couldn't follow a recipe to save his life. Bryan always ends up taking on some new cooking project and then abandons the recipe along the line. In the end, Bryan creates a completely new dish and possibly a cuisine. If whatever he's made is edible or not depends on his luck.

Spencer/Sergei: The next master chef. Spencer can cook literally anything under the stars and he does it well. Usually, he's the type to cook without referring to recipes, but he will follow one rigidly if needed. He's especially good at making desserts.

Tala/Yuriy: Would be a splendid cook if not for his obsession with spice. Tala can't bake or make desserts, but his normal cooking goes hand in hand with a liberal amount of chillies. (Bonus: Ian and Bryan are always making all kinds of excuses to keep Tala away from the kitchen because they can't handle spice at all)

Kai: Can cook but hates cooking. He thinks cooking takes too much time and effort, and more often than not, he'll just eat out or pick something straight from the fridge. Part of the problem is that Kai gets impatient midway and decides he has better things to do. (Bonus: everyone thinks Kai can't cook because he has a chef back at home)

Okay, let's be honest, this boy would 100% be all over you.

For real, he would not leave your side whenever you're sick.

He just wants to make sure you're fine and well attended.

He'd also try to cheer you up with jokes or just entertain you with his words.

I feel like he'd ask Katara to help him prepare some soup for you because he'd make a mess.

He'd tell you that he made the soup for you but it's obvious he's lying.

Once you're done eating, you two would cuddle.

He obviously doesn't care about getting sick too, he just wants to be by your side.

As you rested your head on his chest, he'd kiss your forehead and he'd try to make you laugh.

He'd obviously succeed, and before falling asleep, you'd thank him for being so great.

Hearing you say that made his heart explode, he loved you do much and he loved knowing that you felt the same way.

Bolin

This boy is the sweetest person on earth, and when you're sick his sweetness would even duplicate.

He'd be around you all the time and he'd always be touching you.

He loves holding your hand so I feel like he'd never let go of it when you're sick.

I feel like the two of you would stay home just relaxing.

You two would just be on the couch cuddling while he ran his hands down your back.

Of course, Pabu would be with you two, trying to stay warm and also enjoying some head scratches from time to time.

When you're sick you always have a bit of a hard time falling asleep.

Bolin's voice always relaxes you so you'd ask him to read a book out loud for you.

You end up falling asleep, and he thinks you're the most precious being in the world.

He'd try so hard not to wake you up, knowing how difficult it was for you to sleep.

Pabu would cuddle next to you, wanting to be close to his other favourite person.

That view is enough to fill Bolin's heart, and he'd think of how lucky he was to have you by his side.

He'd kiss you softly on the forehead and then he'd do some chores since he knew you clearly didn't feel well enough to do them.

A few hours later, he'd wake you up with a plate of your favourite soup to help you feel better.

He'd bring you a blanket to help you stay warm.

You absolutely loved how caring he was, he was an amazing boyfriend, and every single day you fell in love with him all over again.

Alright, I feel like Neon would be both competitive and supportive at the same time

I mean like, she has an internal scoring system and she’s always trying to answer more questions than you, whether it’s on quizzes, open questions during classes or just sharing facts when you’re chatting in the hallways, feeling awesome when you look at her dumbfounded at all the things she knows, because that’s how she knows that she won

But if she perceives that you’re falling behind, or that your score is significantly lower than hers in a particular subject, she’ll get worried and will immediately offer (force) you to study together

It doesn’t matter if neither of you aren’t the smartest in each class, because other people are irrelevant in her mind. You are her girlfriend, after all <3

Legends of Tomorrow and the Zarlie Incident: Is it happening again?

As many fans of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are aware, during season 4 and 5 of the series, the ship “Zarlie”, a pairing of Zari Tomaz and Charlie, became quite popular during this time, especially during season 4.

Zari was a fan favourite character who was introduced in season 3. Throughout the season, Zari kept mostly to herself until she began to warm up to the others on the Waverider. Due to Zari’s closed off nature, she never had a LI in season 3. There were jokes about it, of course. Zari was very attractive to one Mr. Jonah Hex, and honestly. who wasn’t from the Waverider, haha? We’re told them as viewers that Zari is attracted to men. Sounds good.

Then s4 rolls around and Charlie gets introduced to the crew. Charlie takes an instant liking to Zari, affectionately calling her ‘Z.’ Maisie previously played Amaya on the previous two seasons, who was quite close with Zari as a friend, so it only makes sense that there is some chemistry between the two actors since they’ve been friends for awhile now. I wasn’t surprised when people starting shipping the two of them, thus the ship ‘Zarlie’ was born. What I wasn’t expecting was the writers to play into it. They had some pretty close scenes, and by close I mean there wasn’t enough room for two hands between their faces. And Zari made a comment about Charlie picking Amaya’s form because she was hot, implying that she thought Amaya was attractive. Thus the infamous scene happened:

No denial from Zari, just her usual annoyed look she got whenever Charlie started picking at her. Thus, the Bi Zari headcannon was born and mostly accepted by everyone in the LoT fandom. Of course, with Avalance and I believe Constangreen at this time, many people doubted it would become canon. And unfortunately, shortly after, Nate and Zari began dating, which felt sudden to me personally, and Steelhacker was born.

However, Steelhacker canon did not stop Zarlie from continuing. If anything, the writers only added more fuel to the fire so fans could have discussions. This is where I started to get annoyed, because why continue to bait the pair if you have no intention of making it canon? It felt a little dirty to me, even as I enjoyed the banter and chemistry between the two of them. Oh well, I thought at the time, it’s just shipping for fun now.

Season 4 ends with Zari being replaced by Zari Tarazi, or Zari 2.0 if you will. People still shipped Zarlie, though it was mostly from Zari 1.0. Fans were a little put off when Charlie said she slept with Behrad, but it also called attention to the fact that Behrad technically replaced Zari from the original timeline, meaning that Charlie wanted sleep with Zari, yes? Very confusing, but in a weird way, it was almost like they canonized the ship further.

Maisie had been on record several times acknowledging the chemistry between the two, and how much she wished they could have explore that more. Then of course, the news of the filmed but deleted kiss broke out and everyone from the Zarlie fandom lost their mind. There was a kiss, so in some strange way, Zarlie is canon, but only behind the scenes. From a show that does have amazing queer characters and content came a strangely bizarre queerbait that is now semi-canon, but only because the news of the kiss came to light, otherwise it would be another ship lost at sea, dragging people down with it as it lured them with its content. That should be the end of it, right?

Wrong.

Season 6 came out this season with Astra, the villain being manipulated by the Fates in season 5, being elevated to main cast. Joining her was newcomer Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz. Some people were hesitant because Astra was a bit of a polarizing character in s5, with reason. And of course, with any new character coming in, people are worried on how they will fit into the show. However, Spooner easily became a character that people enjoyed, and she somehow grounded the show, due to her very emotional character arc.

Spooner and Astra didn’t interact much until the animated sequence, when Astra turned her into a fork, much to the fans delight. Spooner actually encouraged Astra and after that, the two slowly became friends. They could have some snarky yet fun back and forth conversations and remarks to another, and the two actors played off each other well. They also connected from their lost mothers, Spooner who thought her mother had been taken by aliens and Astra who lost her mother to hell. They had a sort of emotional vulnerability between them that only they could understand.

Then the bowling episode came out and I think this is when the ship really got rolling. There was the big hug at the end of the match were a much taller Astra scoops Spooner up off her feet into a massive bear hug, smiles between the two. I know this is when I became a solid Esperastra shipper.

The pair continued to partner up after this. They partnered up again during the Clue-esc murder mystery game. Something that is very interesting about this is the pairings themselves. Ava gets killed by Sara right away (lol) and Nate dies shortly after, with Sara following behind. When Sara dies, her and Ava are shot together in a typical lovers pose in death. Makes sense, as they are engaged. Zari 2.0 is paired with Behrad and John, her brother and her lover respectively. Everyone is paired with someone they love. So...Astra and Spooner are paired up. Okay, no comment. JUST KIDDING. They die together, and this is shot in such a romantic way:

I know it’s dark, my apologies. But Spooner is leaning on Astra, and Astra is falling on top of Spooner. I’ve watched and read a lot of stuff, and this is a typical lovers in death position as well. 

Then we get to the final two episodes which see Spooner and Astra pairing up again. Spooner leans on Astra for emotional support throughout these two episodes, because she knows that Astra understands what she’s going through. Astra was devested when she thought she lost both Spooner and John at the same time. Luckily, Spooner did come back and the two shared a very emotional hug.

Now, this is where it gets a little frustrating as a fan. The writers and showrunners have stated clearly that they are Just Friends(TM). It seems like, based on some decisions from this past season, the writers are pushing for Astra/Behrad, which is like, not terrible but a little strange. However, Tala Ashe (Zari), has been on record to say that she thinks the actors have great chemistry and she ships them. So there is clearly a small divide yet again. So, if season 7 leans into this any more, is Esperastra the new Zarlie?

Of course friends can love each other, hug one another, and use each other as emotional support. However in this case, there does seem to be some underlying tension between the two that I wonder if the writers are going to explore. Is Esperastra going to stay friends, or end up becoming yet another queerbaited sapphic couple from Legends of Tomorrow? I guess only time will give us an answer on this. However, I will say, the parallels between the two ships is slightly uncanny, and perhaps even intentional. Zarlie connected by being two people who felt lost without family, and Esperastra may be doing the same thing now that John is gone, who was functionally Astra’s only family left.

Let’s hope Legends of Tomorrow doesn’t do the same thing twice.

I'll be honest, I don't really have much on the Aquatos outside of Augustus and Raz, but I can still try.

5 ideas/headcanons, let's go.

She feels like she's falling through the cracks a lot of the time, especially with Nona.

If she could befriend anyone, she'd want to be friends with Milka Phage. She would likely look up to Dogen, Lili, and Raz, and try to tag along with them a lot.

Tala isn't psychic, and she's okay with that. She'd likely be happy just getting to play with her siblings again, and if she got to make more friends, that's a bonus!

She's the type of kid to chase after butterflies/moths whenever she sees them. This has led to her getting lost before. On the other hand, it leads her to meet Bob and Helmut post-game, and they awkwardly manage to get her back to the Aquatos, though Bob keeps a massive amount of distance from them out of fear of bothering them.

She's the first to call the Psychic 7 by "Aunt Cassie" or "Uncle Compton". The others don't for a while, but she clearly is favored by them until the others also allow them to get closer, even if it's not as their new adoptive aunt and uncles.

I've been rewatching g-rev.

And I just love my boys so much.

I've been thinking about Boris (dub name for old evil priest boris lol) and thinking about the type of things he did to the boys in the abbey and how long they were in the abbey for.

I have a headcannon that boris was actually a doctor and did experimental surgeries on them, and hes also obsessed with Kai/ Tala for being some of his favourite experiments.

If you get into it you can deduce too many awful things just from the fact that they were (probably under 10) alone, orphaned in a secret society and trapped by priests.

I would imagine Kai still suffers from amnesia and doesnt remember a lot. But Tala and the rest of the demo boys didn't so they remember everything.

Which (to bring a conclusion to my essay) is why Tala was ultra mad at boris, it wasnt cause of the team boris designed (barthez battalions) or even because he made an army of literal child soldiers.

It was always more than that.

The trauma and everything Tala experienced just to watch the people around him (tyson, hero, kai) join him again, must have been brutal.

Dude that kid needs to learn to go ape shit.

Also side note, I used to live on the bottom of a cliff where an abbey was above me and I've lowkey always wanted to do a cosplay kai photoshoot there LOL.

MOD NOTE: THANK YOU SO MUCH BBY! I am so excited to finally talk about these two. They give me so much life, right next to Julia and Tala AHHHHHH.

Kai has never met anyone quite like Julia, mainly because she reminds him so much of herself. She’s confident, hard working, takes no shit, and has an endless amount of pride. Despite their similarities, they often clash and Kai ends up feeling extremely frustrated about their encounters. The frustration doesn’t lead to hate; rather, it makes him self-aware of his own personality flaws. Julia often bests Kai, specifically when it comes to witty come backs and exuding energy. Kai is usually responsible with how much attention and energy he directs to certain individuals, but Julia often proves that she can handle people a lot better than he can. Her antagonistic nature always makes him feel fired up, but despite the ferocity that consumes him, Kai can’t help but feel excited by her presence. He actually likes it when they verbally clash, because he��s being challenged for once.

For the longest time, they refused to put a label on their connection. Julia has always been the type to move from place to place and never really had the chance to indulge in something permanent (despite how much she wants to). Kai, on the other hand, knows little to nothing about the term “commitment” and has always replaced those that once saw him as a close friend. However, neither of them feel the need to replace one another. Kai isn’t exactly sure what Julia is to him, but he knows that no one can quite compare. He hasn’t felt this alive since he battled Tyson, so he’s impressed with Julia’s ability to make him feel something beyond his usual stoic state. Something about her presence is addicting, which is why he shamelessly seeks her out and often appears out of the blue by her side. Although Julia seldom anticipates his presence, she takes pleasure in knowing that she’s become something he favors.

Kai doesn’t really enjoy being in the company of anyone. Even when met with his greatest rival, he would much rather obsess at a distance and observe with caution than get too close. At first, Julia was the one taking the initiative to break his boundaries. She purposefully went out of her way to look for him and invite him places. On one specific evening, Julia grabbed him by the arm and practically dragged him to one of her performances. She made sure he sat through it the entire time and had his eyes on her. Although Julia loves to show off, she primarily did this as a means of letting him know that he was welcome within her space. Although Kai felt out of his element, something about the gesture was reassuring. He seldom had a space he felt attached to... But it seems like regardless of where Julia went, he felt at ease.

Their first kiss was extremely passionate and reckless. Julia was the one to start things off. She antagonized Kai all evening until she turned to him and playfully dared him to kiss her. Kai became flustered and annoyed by her unpredictable babbling. Who knew what this crazy woman would say next? Although Julia was kidding, she kept getting closer and closer, because she was amused by his reactions. She had never seen him so stunned or embarrassed. But just as she was about to tease him, he caught her off guard. Her initial impression of him was shattered. He was messing with her the entire time too... Why would she dare assume he was a coward? If she wanted so desperately to feel his lips against hers, then he’ll impose a kiss so divine that her knees buckle in the presence of God. And they did. Kai practically had to hold her up as he motioned his lips against her own. Who knew a simple touch could be so powerful? He practically smirked into her lips the longer she allowed him to linger. In that moment, he reminded her that he was capable of shutting her antics down. But he didn’t and he doesn’t and he won’t. Because he likes making her feel powerful right before he reminds her that he can take that power away.

Canonically, Imryll isn’t the Inquisitor. She’s my canon Inquisitor, Tala’s, cousin. When the clan hears word that the conclave exploded, Imryll ran off in emotional distress to go find her body, not knowing she was still alive. The eventually becomes the Inquisition’s alchemist after Adan quit.

Imryll loves gardening. She likes collecting rare herbs’ seeds. She also takes pride in having a green thumb and being able to grow beautiful flowers like her dad.

Imryll also loves experimenting - especially with poultices and potions. She’s an expert on herbs and ingredients’ properties and what they could make. Sometimes she’ll get an idea in the middle of the night, crawl out of bed and start lol.

Yuriy

Angry

Yuriy has a cold, calculated temper. He's not prone to angry outbursts (unless he's REALLY been pushed) but he has a razor sharp tongue when he's angry, and he's witty and often sarcastic during arguments.

When he truly truly loses it, he goes for the jugular and has no problem leaving one bleeding seamlessly from his words. When warranted, he knows how to hurt one, with just his words and he's viscious then. You don't want to cross him when he's angry unless you wish to endure his wrath

Sleep

He can't sleep, he has chronic insomnia. To get a good night's sleep, he has to physically and mentally tire himself out.

Most of the time, what little sleep he does get is peppered with nightmares. He used to have abbey and post Garland nightmares and therapy helped with that. But as they moved past that in therapy, in his late 20s he's struggling more and more with his childhood pre-abbey and those are just as, if not more chilling than the beyblade related ones.

He sleeps a little better with someone next to him. When he was younger, he'd go check on his team a few timess at night, to make sure they were still breathing. Now, if there's someone next to him, the sound of their quiet breathing is very calming.

Romance

Like everything he does in his life, it's calculated. He weighs the pros and cons before he gets emotionally involved. At one point, he even researched how not to get emotionally attached to someone - and it's all because he has issues trusting people, and struggles with abandonment. He has to be absolutely sure before he's going to give someone a shot.

Bryan

Appearance

He knows he looks intimidating and has more than once used that to his advantage. He has scars all over his body from practice, and this is a recent HC that he's never bled in a beybattle. But he's processing the scars now

Borya loves his selfies, especially the shirtless ones after his workout. Yuriy has just about blocked him on snapchat coz he doesn't want to see that first thing in the morning. Kai doesn't mind so much

My choice

Driving HC FOR Bryan.

Bryan drives dangerously fast. It takes a few tries before he's able to fully control his driving skill and speed.

(Because YuKa is my OTP) Yuriy was tired of his best friend and the love of his life bickering all the time like children around him. Kai got Boris racecar driving lessons for his birthday and then he crashed the car (but shh, don't tell Yuriy) and then Kai was (stupid) naive enough to let him borrow his own car - which Bryan also crashed. - Listen, he only became a safe driver after the crashes.

Scars: A YuKa fic for the bey fandom that's been hanging out in my WIP folder for a while now. The story follows Kai's quest for the title, and Tala's revenge against Garland, 3 years after the events of G-Rev, among other things.

The Night Raiders: An original cyberpunk novel idea that involves a rebellion and main characters with criminal tendencies and questionable morals.

Fatal Impact: An original thriller novella set in present-day Moscow, where two bodyguards are tasked with protecting a politician receiving death threats.

Knifepoint: Original psychological thriller short story set on a remote island. It follows a young man's race for survival against a serial killer.

Shadows: Another YuKa fic that has occult/ supernatural elements to it. This one came to mind on account of my latest headcannon about bit-beasts. Haven't started writing it as of yet.

There's more original stories and one shots, but I haven't named any of them yet lol. Mainly working on Scars now, which is around three-fourths way done, but feel free to ask me anything about any of the WIPs!

Of course, I would love to talk more about Harry Potter/Beyblade headcanons. Also, anon, since you do seem so interested in them, I suggest you check out @lucy-mac​‘s art and AU on her set of HP/Beyblade headcanons which you can find here. She really put some thought into it, so please do give it a read page. Anyway, coming to my own headcanons (I’ll use dub names)….

Beyblade/HP AU Headcanon #1

I want to first elaborate a little on the Blitzkrieg Boys. First of all, I want to talk about the Abbey. I have a headcanon that the Blitzkrieg Boys, in this alternate Potterverse, are all from pure blood families, with the exception of Kai. Kai’s father was a Muggle that his mother ensnared with a love potion (much like Merope Gaunt did to Tom Riddle Sr.). The other boys were offered by their parents to serve the Dark Lord, i.e. Voltaire, and Kai being his grandson, had no option but to serve him and do his bidding, especially since Kai’s father had abandoned him and Kai’s mother was killed off by a killing curse by Voltaire for being ‘weak’ (like Merope, her magical abilities were questionable) and for mingling with a Muggle.

So these children of Death Eaters (i.e., our boys and Kai) each were sent to this institution, where their memories were obliviated by the Death Eaters and they were conditioned to learn only one thing - they were trained to purge the world of Muggles and Muggle Born witches and wizards and the Dark Mark was seared into their skins. This institution, much like the abbey, was to raise an army for the Dark Lord. And it was led by the most loyal Death Eater, Boris Balkov. Notice the similarities between how the people in the abbey dress and the Death Eaters:

Coming back to our Blitz boys,

So I headcanon that Tala’s mother was a Muggle born witch who was also a ballerina. She often danced ballet (while her husband was away) in front of Tala, as she loved to remember her Muggle roots. However, after she discovered that her husband had joined the Death Eaters and after suffering abuse from him, she left Tala. Tala, of course, after escaping from the institution, only remembered his mother - that memory of her dancing was the only thing that helped him maintain his sanity in that institution and it manifested itself in the form of his wolf-woman patronus, Wolborg. This is similar to my Tala/Wolborg headcanon over here.

The other boys find it difficult to produce a Patronus because of their unfortunate memories, but being together when they subsequently fled to Durmstrang, helped them finally find some happiness. When Kai escaped, though, he went to Hogwarts.

Beyblade/HP AU Headcanon #2

This one is my invention. Let me introduce you to the concept of a Reverse Patronus. Now, as you know, a patronus is cast based on a powerful, happy memory. Kai’s only happy memory from his childhood would be that of his loving mother before she was killed off. So his patronus would ideally be a Phoenix, ie, Dranzer. However, the abbey strips Kai of all his pleasant memories.

Kai is trained in the abbey very strictly in the Dark Arts. He is taught many things, including and especially the art of casting a Reverse Patronus. Casting a reverse patronus is strictly forbidden by the Ministry of Magic, mainly because it feeds on the darkness and negativity inside a person. Naturally, once Kai starts casting it, his Reverse Patronus takes the form of a Black Phoenix, ie, Black Dranzer.

Casting a reverse patronus can drive anyone crazy, since it feeds off the darkness inside people. I headcanon that during a particularly difficult Triwizard Tournament task, Kai faces multiple dementors which try to suck the soul out of him. Kai, however, doesn’t want his teammates to help him, because he is full of himself. He tells them to back off. He knows that he is more powerful with a Reverse Patronus than a regular patronus (since he has no happy memories) and casts it. However, it actually affects him more because he has tried to run away from it since childhood. It is then that his friends step in. While Kai feels himself drowning into darkness, his friends step up and draw their wands, determined to bring him back from the brink even if they get overwhelmed. Kai is moved and his dark patronus turns into a regular patronus. He finds that his teammates are there for him and the red phoenix, Dranzer, becomes his patronus :)

Beyblade/HP AU Headcanon #3

The Mirror of Erised headcanon. I think, despite his perpetual state of self-denial, Kai sees himself with his teammates Tyson, Max, Ray, Daichi, Kenny and Hilary in the Mirror of Erised. Judy sees herself reunited with her son. Tala sees himself with his mother. Brooklyn sees himself on a swing with friends around him, as a child.

Beyblade/HP AU Headcanon #4

Max is also the heir of Slytherin. Yes, you heard that right. I headcanon that he is Kai’s cousin, but neither of them is aware of the same since Judy did not raise Max (but merely visited him sometimes while he lived with his Muggle Born dad).

As I mentioned before, Max’s bit beast Draciel, in the Japanese version is Genbu. And Genbu is represented by a tortoise/serpent.

I headcanon that Max has always known that because of the necklace that his mother gave him as a symbol of his heritage - Slytherin’s locket which bears the mark of Draciel. (Matching this with canon a little).

However, with Max wanting to distance himself as much as he can from his lineage, he prayed to the Sorting Hat to place him in Ravenclaw where he could be with the smart ones in his class, rather than in Slytherin where people might discover who he is.

However, during the Triwizard Tournament he comes face to face once again with his mother, Judy, the Minister for Magic who conveniently keeps ignoring him until he emerges as a victor and proves to her that he is as good a wizard in Ravenclaw as he could have been in Slytherin.

Beyblade/HP AU Headcanon #5

Brooklyn is our fandom’s Credence as his loneliness and genius is taken advantage of and he is pushed over the edge, until he finally is calmed down. As I stated earlier, Mr. Dickenson is the fandom’s Dumbledore and Dr. Zaggart is Grindelwald in a way.

Hilary is Hermione for sure.

Jazzman is a bit of a Rita Skeeter.

Also, Wyatt is like Colin Creevey with his super fanboy-ism for Kai, the best seeker that Slytherin house has ever seen!

Beyblade/HP AU Headcanon #6

I should just write a fic called the Gift of the Animagi xD Bad literature pun? Never mind. So I headcanon that Ray and his tribe, ie, Mariah, Lee, Kevin and Gary are all animagi. Ray being the strongest sorcerer of the lot was allowed to turn into the prestigious white tiger - the symbol of their tribe. However, he chose not to train with them in their traditional, but instead went to Hogwarts to learn magic. As a result, they felt betrayed.

Beyblade/HP AU Headcanon #7

This headcanon pertains to the tasks for that each Bladebreaker faces in the Triwizard Tournament.

Keep in mind that Judy designed these tasks, so they are ruthless af. Also, Hiro is like Ludo Bagman, here. He sucks up to Judy (Percy-style) and tests his brother and his friends.

Tyson does the ‘catching the egg from the dragon’ task, because dragons are his thing and because he is a brilliant seeker (because he commands the wind in canon, catch my drift?)

Max saves his friend underwater in the lake fighting merpeople, because he’s our water baby. He faces off against Mystel and Mariam in this task.

Hilary is given a time turner and is asked to go back in time and save Tyson’s life in a specific situation faster than the other competitors.

Ray is challenged to enter into the forbidden forest and fight off the magical creatures inside and emerge out the other end. BUT WITHOUT A WAND. So Ray exploits the loophole and transforms into an animagus. He faces off against Mariah here.

Kai’s task is given above.

Daichi faces a lot of insecurity and a bit of an inferiority complex in canon as we know. So in his task, he faces an army of boggarts that turn into his dad, his teammates, his house-mates and, HIM, and tell him that he is a failure and will never be as good. According to the rules, he can use any spell except for ‘Riddikulus’. Daichi eventually conquers his fear, believes in himself and wins.

Kenny doesn’t compete. But he provides them with a lot of help

In the final task they collectively enter the maze.

Well, this is all for now xD I have a lot of headcanons overall, but I hope that this’ll suffice. Because I’ll never stop writing.
