A/N: Yes, the things I wrote in my Korassami fics are transferred in here. I've had these headcanons since I started writing Korrasami fics, I can't let go of them.

SOKKA

Is all about that pillow talk. There might be a humble brag thrown in somewhere in there, but generally speaking he wants to make sure you're okay. He's really tuned into how you talk to him after, he's clinging onto every word you as as hard as he's clinging onto you. Starts to sound a bit sleepy as he rambles on, eventually drifting off to sleep next to you.

ZUKO

Doesn't want to make it sound like he's fishing for compliments and praise but he is. Constantly in fact, during the act and especially after. He likes to know he did good, he might have seen it, felt it, but he wants you to let him know even more. His hand is holding yours while he pulls you next to him and he kisses your forehead, affirming to you that he had a good time too.

KORRA

Would really like to cuddle but not before she fetches food and water for you both. It's really important that you both keep your energies up. You never know if you might want a round 2, or 3, or 4. So it's always good to eat and drink afterwards. She will bite and lick your fingers if you try to feed her anything and if you try to steal her food you'll find yourself pinned against the bed.

ASAMI

Smirks at you as she counts the many lipstick marks she left on your body. Her finger tickling you, making you shiver under her touch and she likes it, she likes how easy it is to tease you, wind you up. Maybe she's doing it purposely, maybe she's just helping you calm down and likes the physical contact. Either way she'll leave at least one mark for you to see when you walk up to the mirror.

BOLIN

Pulls you on top of him and snuggles his face against your neck. Don't tell him about the sweat or any other fluids, he doesn't mind one bit, he wants to cuddle with you now. He always makes you feel safe and appreciated, even if he does get rougher if you ask him for some roleplay, he is an actor after all. But he is also mindful not to hold you too hard, he doesn't want to hurt you.

MAKO

Never admits how much he likes the scratch marks you leave on his back, arms and thighs but you always catch him looking at them in the mirror afterwards. As soon as he notices you're fully awake again he rushes to kiss you deeply, his tongue seeking yours. Usually he's pretty stoic but in bed he's always passionate. He wants to return all the affection you show to him on the regular basis.

Kuvira doesn't really know how to deal with anxiety , especially coming from her s/o.

But it doesn't mean she won't try. After a hard day she's there for you.

Now she's an amazing metal bender (and back bender) ,so what she will do, is create flowers and figures that she knows you like,maybe tell you one of earth kingdom's stories while she animates it with metal.

It's so wholesome tbh,and it always brings you back into a good mood :)

Bolin is a master at cheering you up,and there's no denying.

Like if you had a particularly rough day that got you anxious or stressed,he's there. And Pabu of course.

Pabu would do some tricks to lighten your mood,and your boy would act like the host, allways bringing a smile on your lips.

If you're not in the mood for that, maybe some food in bed and childhood stories would work to.

Mako is more on the quieter side, so his way of dealing with your anxiety is cuddling in bed with you, rubbing your waist or arm ,and if you're ready to speak about what made you feel the way you do,he's there to listen.

It's okay if you just wanna stay quiet. Mako's just fine with you snuggling up in his chest and falling asleep,as long as he knows that you feel safe,it's all that matters.

Avatar's sexuality + gender headcanons:

What motivates me by making this is all thanks to this post! (<- love you op /p). I'll be sharing my own headcanons for all these avatars (excluding Salai, and Gun unfortunately - I don't know these guys that very well despite I already explored their wiki a couple of times TvT). However, there are some headcanons that doesn't exactly revolves around their sexuality and gender, and there could be spoilers as well. So beware of that!!

Wan

Cis-male, He/Him/His

Bi, on the aro-spec (demiromantic)

Formed a beautiful, emotional bond with Jaya. Despite how different they are in personality departments, Wan has always adored him but has a hard time expressing his endearment towards him [Jaya relates as well].

In their short reunion, when they haven't seen each other for 2 years - Wan stiffened when Jaya hugs him tightly, he grins widely while a red blush slowly creeps in across his face.

They never get to spend time with each other as they used to though. Grief struck him greatly when he starts to bargain, there was so much time yet there's little he can do. There was once a man he knew, loved adored. Now, he was nowhere to be seen.

While he does enjoy each company from different genders, he couldn't let his walls down and be completely vulnerable towards them. The slightest attraction is immediately met with suppression, leading the other party be confused towards his nervous and timid demeanor.

He would rather die alone than dragging someone with him in this war he has to fight against. He still hasn't accept that the fact Jaya is gone because of him, because he couldn't save them all in time.

Szeto

Demiboy, He/Him/His

Pan, on the ace-spec (apothisexual)

Known in front of the public's eye for being such a honest man, there are some things he always kept to himself that he couldn't bring those to let it be exposed [he finds it quite embarrassing].

His relationship with Firelord Yosor has always been strictly professional but there were also some unresolved romantic tension between them both, in rare occasions, Szeto would have his clipboard be pressed against his lips nervously while standing close to Yosor, who would rub the back of his neck shyly.

When subtly asking if he ever wants to be in a romantic relationship, he'll respond; "I'll consider it, sure. I wouldn't mind to be with someone who loves me just as I love them as well." with a tiny smile.

..Which is all up for interpretation since he never specified whether his romantic interest can be a man or woman [although, rumor says that the relationship between him and Fire Lord Yosor are so much more, then meets the eye].

But with a well crafted image, and story - he is intriguing as he is mysterious in a way. People can theorize all they want but what they all had in an agreement is that his literature is fantastic.

Yangchen

Cis-female, She/Her/Hers

AroAce (spectrum)

(I am unfortunately not that knowledge about her, so forgive me if all of these are mischaracterizations ToT) While yes, finding Kavik, well, indeed quite attractive - there wasn't a time or the right place to tell him that she loves him.

Uncertainty has always choke her, never the one to be keen in relationships. The thought of being one doesn't disgust her but she couldn't prioritize it, especially her position has people always constantly need her attention.

But Kavik? Her future is unknown, there could be a hassle after a hassle for all she knows but him being in hers - him being there for every step she takes? Him for supporting her on? Him to always have her bring up to her feet?

It would be really lovely, endearing even.

Similarly like Szeto's case, its all up for interpretation. The world only know her as a holy figure, this divine and graceful avatar - Kavik knew the real her. They're the only ones who knew what's their relationship heading towards to, even if it takes so much patience and trust to rebuild again.

Kuruk

Cis-male, He/Him/His

Bi, female lean

Actually, he's quite unsure of himself if he's even bisexual if you considered his up-bringings. However, he does travel and not only learn about the elements but even their culture differences. It took a long time for his mindset to reboot (although the internalized homphobia definitely left a huge impact on him).

But due to his fights against the spirits, spiraling himself in depression, and never has the time to find peace in his later life - not only this dude struggle a lot with his image but can't seem for the life of him if he actually likes men or not. It is left with "I enjoy the company." statement.

He is supportive and understanding of Ummi, who comes out to him as trans (mtf) before they could start dating and held the same love to her as before.

He was about to leave the past behind him, and start a new one with Ummi - he was gonna be grateful, he was gonna be better not only as a man but as the Avatar as well.. He relapsed once she's stripped away from his life, and couldn't be returned back.

He couldn't hug her and lift her off her feet to spin her around happily. So every once in a while, he gets comforted and be embraced by Yangchen who witnessed it all but she couldn't remove the pain that Kuruk still has deep down inside.

Kyoshi

Cis-female, she/her/hers

Bi (canonly), on the ace-spec (demisexual)

(I am not interested in Kyoshi at all, so again with the apology - theres gonna be mischaracterizations 😭) Because of the way she's treated especially while growing up, she never thought she could be loved by someone romantically. I mean, who would love a servant?

At least, not until Yun and Rangi comes to the picture..

And her life as a content servant who wanted to live comfortably morphs into as an Avatar she didn't want to become! Huzzah! /hj <- okay but there was never a day she thought she could be dating someone who not only wishes happiness only for her, not the avatar, but is willing to be by her side no matter what.

She loves Rangi with all of her heart but a part of it wishes that Yun didn't turn out the way he is. She always often visit his grave, and contemplates that things could've been different - there were so many what ifs, there were so many choices that could've been carefully chosen.. She always bring flowers with her, and place it on his grave everytime. She still held love for someone she lost.

In her later life, where Rangi couldn't keep up with her. Kyoshi is there to kiss her knuckles softly, tears rolling down across her face. She is her purpose to keep on living yet she's slowly dying in front of her. She'd spent the rest of her life, thinking about her constantly. Reminiscing the past she has with her. When Koko slowly adapts to become her daughter - she would tell her stories about her and Rangi which makes Koko fully believed that Rangi is her mother as well, just like Kyoshi is towards her.

Roku

Transman, he/him/his

Pansexual

Struggled a lot with gender dysphoria (doesn't help the fact his mind is plague by self-doubts). However, his parents were kind towards him, and doesn't dismiss it as "You're just a kid, it will pass." letting him dress himself masculine, which he finds himself most comfortable in. His journey to become a young man is easy, and its all thanks to his loving parents who were ready to lend an ear to listen carefully about his personal thoughts and doing the best they can to help him (the projection is crazy).

He comes out to Sozin about it, and Sozin is happy for him. Although, he did find it difficult at first since its a new change and there were a couple of accidental slip-ups - its good enough to know that Sozin actually wants Roku to be really comfortable within himself.

But because he is also a young lad, there was too much unresolved romantic tension between them both. The deja vu is insane, at least, for Szeto (who had to keep himself in check everytime Roku is oblivious towards Sozin's flirty tendencies. He was suffering every second of it).

While traveling, and understanding culture differences to not only enhance his bending - he had some couple of hook ups there, and there. Letting himself relax a bit, and savor the moment as he is gently taken care of (mind you, this headcannon alone is coming from someone who is aegosexual lol!!)

Coming back home, with his no-longer low self-esteem - able to finally ask Ta Min out, to which Ta Min agrees ecstatically. Those months of dating each other, Ta Min is the first one to propose and Roku accepts it with a delighted, tearful face. Both partners are fortunate, and proud to be each other's wife and husband.

But oh my gosh, the unresolved romantic tension he had with Sozin is finally resolved when Roku realized that Sozin is down bad for him. That their entire situationship is the sole reason why the 100 year old war started. /j okay, but after everything Roku gone through, he couldn't help but maybe, just maybe, he pondered that there could've been at least another situation where he and Sozin ended in good terms. Firmly gripping the once artifact that is dear to him, is meaningless in Sozin's behalf.

I can't do Aang, and Korra. The headcanons are already established by the canon sources.. So, I'm so sorry for those who are Aang and Korra enjoyers 💔 There is always next time if I can actually think uniquely. Also, this is so LONG oh my gosh 😭😭😭

I‘m sitting here correcting tests when I started to wonder what school Asami attended 🤔

What do you think, what education dud she get in her youth?

Love that you're living your life and also casually thinking about Asami. I can relate to that.

In my in-universe AUs she went to an exclusive private school called Granite Point Academy, which in my mind is more or less the equivalent of an East Coast upper prep school. It'd be the kind of place that conferred both status and academic excellence and where the students were expected to go on to prestigious universities and/or positions in government and industry to replace their well-connected parents. This is incidentally how she knows Tahno. Prior to Granite Point I think she went to a local lower girls' academy which was supplemented by a slew of private tutors to make sure little Asami had only the very best.

Which to me explains a bit of what we see of her when the show opens. Asami is friendly and well-socialized, but doesn't seem to have a strong, close-knit network of pre-existing friends and in fact appears desperate to belong to Team Avatar. That to me looks like a girl who switched schools just before high school to a place with a city-wide catchment area, a lot of pressure, and no history of any Satos in attendance. Asami would make new friends but they wouldn't be ones who lived close by and between Math Club and extra credit for physics and kuai ball practice there'd be less time to remake the kind of spit-in-your-hand, ride-or-die friendships she'd had as a child. A pretty girl who loved cars and sports and was on track to become valedictorian would be liked by all but wouldn't fit neatly into a crowd. The knowledge Hiroshi Sato was only a few bad investments from being a nobody wouldn't help, either. Having Asami fresh out of a place where everyone loved her and yet she always felt on slightly uncertain social footing would lead to some of her reactions in Books 1 & 2.

I love this, so forgive me for expanding on it. In short, I completely agree. I think it's nearly impossible to eradicate an entire nation down to a person. If there were secret sky bison herds then there were almost certainly secret airbenders who escaped the war.

While I love the idea that there were remote villages that were missed or groups in hiding, I also think that there were even more individuals who fled to other places and assimilated. We see lots of benders from mixed relationships in LOK. So further imagine a child in some remote NWT settlement with a waterbender and non-bender parent who happens to be born an airbender because, unbeknownst to them, grandma was an airbender who wore her hair and clothing carefully over her tattoos and was too scared to ever bend. There's nobody to teach a young airbender. No one in the community has ever even seen airbending before. So she goes through life making snow swirl and hunting ships sail faster and cooking fires burn a little hotter and everyone thinks she's simply good luck.

I still very much dislike Harmonic Convergence and all the off book lore about bending and airbenders.

Katara was born a water bender after at least two generations of non benders.

I think Toph’s parents are non benders.

So we know bending isn’t a 1:1 for parents are water and earth so the kid can only be water earth or non bender.

And we have canon characters that were airbenders that left the temples long before the war. So I’m assuming more did and had families in the other nations.

WHY did no airbenders come up in the 100 years?

I think my best guess is based off the two waterbenders from a remote southern village who were raised from a young age to never let anyone see them water bending. Airbenders who had air bending children hid them and were remote enough they didn’t get news of the war ending until after the events of LoK.

Imagine someone in one of these remote and hidden air nation villages getting air bending as an adult in harmonic convergence and Freaking Out lmao.

Song Bird Lin

So- my brother gifted me a drawing pad for Christmas! And guess who gets to make art again!

So what was I supposed to do with the power he's given me? I drew Linny. UwU

I always liked the idea that Lin could actually sing. I like to imagine that when Su was younger, she'd sing her lullabies to get her to sleep. The only people that knew of her talent was her mother, sister and Katara.

Toph enjoyed sitting in her room with her door open while Lin would lay next to Suyin and sing her a lullaby while rubbing her back. Toph couldn't exactly see what was happening but with the soft ombre of Lin's voice and the light snores of her youngest, it always filled her heart with happiness.

On days the Beifong's would have "rest" days, it would be Toph lounging in their backyard while laying in mud. Suyin would be playing with her dollies, jabbering on about a certain scenario regarding her dolls. While Lin? She'd be inside of the house, windows all open, doors wide open and a radio playing in the background.

Lin would use this chance to clean the house. Wiping finger prints off the walls, mud foot prints off the floor, random rocks that Suyin found or Toph found laying about. She'd sing along with the radio while the birds sang their sweet tunes.

Suyin ever the brightest child she was, would sing with Lin, even if she didn't entirely know the words. But even at that, hearing Lin laugh and continue singing while she mopped the floors was the best joy anyone could hope for.

Though once Suyin began to have her rebellious stage, Lin's singing would often lack. Suyin no longer wanted to be put to bed and be sung to like a baby, Toph was always working and it was Lin who took care of the house and her sister.

Lin sang in her school concert when she was 8 or 9 years old. Everyone loves her and it surprised Katara and Aang hearing Lin sing so beautifully, especially for such a young girl.

Lin would no longer turn her radio on, Lin would no longer sing. It wasn't until Katara took Lin and Suyin to the island for a few days that Lin was finally relaxed. With Katara keeping a watch on Suyin and plenty of hands to help with her, Lin was able to finally relax and enjoy her time alone.

Lin would go down to the beach to "practice her sandbending" when in reality she'd sing her heart out while watching Republic City.

Lin covered for a singer in highschool, the lead singer got sick so Lin covered last minute (due to Tenzin's insistence.)

Also I want to believe that the seniors in the precinct wanted to go undercover to try and take down a triad den and Saikhan's big mouth said that Lin was a singer. And bam, they dolled her up and she sang her heart out. Making several triad members fall in love with her.

Also they didn't recognize Lin because Lin was still a fresh face in the precinct owo

TLOK RE-WRITE : WAN/JAYA

Jaya lives in this re-write by the way, while Wan canonically has his animal companion, Mula The Deercat - It be really nice not only he has an animal companion but also a partner in crime as well. Helping with the fact that the entire conflict is about having the spirits and humans to get along with each other.

Emotional baggage, like, lots of them. Jaya hasn't seen Wan for over 2 years, and he pondered that if he didn't make it in a way. Wan's banishment broke his heart, and he believed he would die within a day. His grief and regret was choking him. So hearing that he managed to make it out alive, he decided to also even placed himself in the wilds because If Wan survived, there's a chance he could run into him again.

Upon reunion, Jaya literally run towards to him and tackle Wan with a hug - sending each other flying to the ground, and laugh with a heart. They both saw each other again, and this time, they saw each other changed. Wan used to be reckless, and quick to anger person. Jaya used to be hesitant, and always expressing uncertainty - Wan is now compassionate, optimistic, and courageous, even preferred to settle disputes through diplomacy. Jaya developed a sense of courage, along with a deep hatred of all spirits, and has an agressive nature.

Those 2 years of not seeing each other, Jaya gets a little clingy to Wan sometimes.  They would have each other's hands being held most of the time, Jaya wraps his arms around Wan's neck in an affectionate way, and you would never see Jaya being a part away from Wan unless crisis averted. I guess, losing Yao following after Wan's banishment made him viscid to Wan. [ Which, Wan doesn't really mind ]

It wasn't quick or slow for Jaya to eventually be friends with the spirits, but in the middle ground - when Wan is all friendly, and nice towards the creatures.. Maybe, just maybe, he should've at least try. Just for him.

"Did you ever think about me, Wan? Did you ever miss me.." there was pause. "And Yao?"

".. I do, Jaya." Wan place his hand on top of Jaya's - slowly having their hands interlocked. "I do miss you and Yao."

Years after the harmonic comvergance, they never find the right time to talk about their feelings but there has always been romantic, and sexual tension between them both. Most of the time, they were pretty chill and casually talk because they're  simply "friends" and never thought they could be more. However, they also have little moments where they are nervous around with each other. Their heart beats even sync because its drumming fast and loud. When Jaya grabbed Wan around the waist and lift him off the ground because they were both victorious - Wan couldn't help but flush profusely and blossomed into belly laugh. When Wan holds Jaya close, having his hand on top of his head while the the other his back pulling him closer. He just.. Stiffened. He reciprocated back but the warm on Jaya's face? Never left.

When he lost Wan at that night, he kept fighting for him. Peace will be restored, and his name won't be in vain. He carved a statue of wood just for him, to honor his name. It depicts Wan being embraced by an image of Raava. [ <- Go to contents, and click "Legacy" ]

I would love to show my re-write about TLOK but this is all you can get from me ^-^ I'll plan to share more about them. This is absolutely not meant to hate on the actual writing in the show - its a nice sequel to ATLA. My brain just can be quite imaginative.

– when you first met KorrAsami, they were dating each other.

– you already knew of Korra with her being the Avatar and everything and for Asami, you knew of her but only because of the drama that went down with her dad and Future Industries.

– you can't exactly remember how you met them, but you vaguely remember a party and Bolin, your closest friend, dragging you to it and insisting that you meet the rest of the Krew.

– Also, the fact that they call each other the "Krew" was so cute to you, you wanted in.

– and so there you saw Korra and Asami dressed in their best party wear, holding glasses of colored clear liquid and giggling with each other.

– At first, your stomach fizzed with butterflies but you assumed that was your jitters

– you didn't think the butterflies was because the two of them looked good enough to make your knees shake or your face burn. no, not at all!

– why would it anyways? You couldn't be attracted to a couple. that's weird. Like licking a flagpole and drinking a smoothie made of grass and boiled egg yolks. That's weird.

– and you weren't weird. (or at least not that weird).

– anyways, as the party went on, you got to know the two more.

– you got to know that Korra's a bit goofy and playful, that she isn't always the stubborn and hotheaded Avatar everyone knows her to be and you also figured out that Asami made her very shy, very easily.

– with how she acted towards the general public and threats, you thought Korra would be the one to make her significant other shy with flirts and cocky sentences, but it turns out that Asami was the one to. and she wasn't even flirting.

– Asami would give one smile and quip to Korra and the Avatar would melt like ice cream on a hot summer's day. It was cute, honestly but also made you ick on the inside.

– you didn't know why. you had nothing against the two and PDA, but seeing them flirt with each other gave you a certain pang in your chest.

– after the party's events, you found yourself getting closer and closer to the "Krew".

– you weren't close enough to consider yourself a part of Team Avatar but enough to be considered Team Avatar's friend.

– when you hung out with the Krew, you would linger around KorrAsami. Wherever they went, you went.

– Bolin teased you about this, naturally, being your best friend and all, but you denied the allegations he tried to make. --

"You have a crush on them!" "Please, I do not. I'm hanging out with them because i want to get to know them more. That's all."

"But you even laugh at their jokes. You never laugh at Mako's and I's."

"That's because you and Mako aren't funny."

"And Korra and Asami are?"

"Precisely." --

– And it was true. You didn't have a crush on them and they were funny.

– Korra and Asami have this type of humor that's unique to them. They feed off of each other and often make snarky remarks about inside jokes or shared experiences. Being a part of that was an accomplishment in its own.

– something would happen when you guys were out and about and you would share the same look.

– the only times the jokes got "bad" was when someone made the other laugh a bit louder than usual.

– like one time Korra made Asami laugh so loud and hard that she cried with a red face.

– the feeling that stirred in your stomach wasn't pretty. it was like whatever you had for lunch curdled and violently punched you in the gut over and over and over again.

– you would seethe every once and a while. Why was Korra making her girlfriend laugh upsetting you? It shouldn't matter what she does. She's her girlfriend and has the right to make her laugh. It would probably be more concerning if Asami laughed harder at your jokes.

– Right?

– It would be great to make Asami laugh like that though. Her sparkling green eyes come to a close as her eyes squint. Her hand would politely cover her lips with a hooked finger, further pushing the elegant and proper look she's made of herself. And even though her blush does this for her already, her cheeks would be redder from how hard you made her laugh.

– Isn't that normal for a homie to want? It was normal to want to share that experience with Korra; making Asami laugh. These were all normal things. Right?

– It had to be. It's what you thought about at night. Making Asami laugh, making Korra shy, holding their hands and nuzzling your nose against their cheeks. That's all very normal things to think about when it comes to your friends.

– you never thought that way about Mako or Bolin of course. They were like siblings to you so, they were sibling pretty. Not the weak-in-the-knees-heart-racing-platonic-pretty Korra and Asami were.

– Well, Bolin didn't think so. Deny all you want, say what you want, but he saw the way you looked at them.

– He saw how your eyes light up when they come over to talk to you or how cutely small and shy you'd get when they hug you at the same time. He saw how you would point them out in everything you see, even if you're not with them.

– Bolin knows you and apparently, he knows you better than you know yourself.

– He knew you so well that he could tell when you were jealous and he could tell when you were attracted.

– when you were jealous: when their PDA gets too much, when they walk away together, when they make inside jokes, when they call each other "babe", and when they prefer each other over anyone else in the Krew.

– when you were attracted: when their attention is on you, when they talk to you one-on-one (mano-y-mano as Bolin referred), when they would hug you or take you out as a trio, when they compliment you, when they spring into action or act serious, and so much more that Bolin could write a whole book about your attraction towards the pair.

– Honestly, Bolin understood the attraction. He had a crush on Korra once. Mako too! In fact, everyone in the Krew had a crush on her so the fact that you had a crush on her (and her girlfriend) just met you're officially a part of their friend group now. Yay!

– now, Bolin never told you that he's aware of the crush you had on the pair but he would hint at it with suspicious winks, wiggles of his brows, and jokes that confused everyone else but you.

– "Yeah, red and blue sure are attractive colors, huh?" then he'd nudge you and you would freeze with a nervous smile.

– Mako, Asami, and Korra would have no clue what Bolin meant. Especially since they were talking about imprisoning war criminals when Bolin blurted. But hey, randomness is what Bolin is known for.

– A couple of weeks after that incident, you finally came to terms with yourself. You had to, the jealousy was getting too much that the girls were picking up on it.

"Whoa, you good?" Korra chuckled, noticing your glare after she kissed Asami's cheek. "You're uh, looking angrier than Mako on a good day." On a good day, you would tease her back but the feelings were too much.

The thoughts of holding them, kissing them (and not just on the cheek), and spending time with them was overwhelming and taking over every fiber of your being.

You couldn't watch them interact with each other without a firey burning in your chest and the clench of your fists. Also, you're pretty sure you've shaved a couple of centimeters off your teeth from all the teeth grinding you've been doing.

The girls have been giving you curious looks when you would glare in their direction. They'd awkwardly look at each other and then get away from your gaze to avoid confrontation.

Korra and Asami never assumed you were the type to judge their love, they didn't get that vibe from you, so it was a nerving surprise you got angry whenever they showcased public displays of affection.

"Yeah." You eased your shoulders from your ears. "I'm fine. Sorry. Just stressed."

"You must be chronically stressed then," Asami spoke as she slung an arm around Korra's shoulders. Your lips tensed at the sight. "Because you're always making faces or scowling nowadays."

"Yeah, you're doing it now actually," pointed Korra. You eased your lips again. Damn, it's like second nature to tense up or scowl whenever you see them interact. That wasn't healthy. At all.

These are your friends. By the expressions on their faces, you can see they're getting uncomfortable holding each other around you. Asami slowly moved her arm away from Korra with a frown and they tried not to show it, but they held each other's hands behind their backs.

Your friends had to hide their true selves from you because you're too afraid to admit your feelings.

Is this what you want? For them to be afraid and think you're someone or something you're not? Of course not. It was time to face the music. You have a crush on Korra and Asami.

Now, what are you going to do about it?

Headcanon ask: How and when did Amon and Hiroshi Sato meet?

I’m writing a fic where this is crucial but I can’t decide. So I thought I’d ask if anyone else knows. All ideas welcome!

On one hand, I understand why people can dislike Wu. He has a very boisterous and over the top, which can be annoying for some people.

On the other hand, I personally find Wu an incredibly sweet and interesting character due to how very grounded he feels, despite his flamboyance.

When we first meet Wu he gives of tbe impression of extremely shallow, egoistical and woefully unprepared to be king. But then as we watch further we see that he genuinely cares for Mako, and has a genuine care for people, even placing himself between the mecha suits and the evacuees.

I'm also still very surprised and happy with his choice to democratise the Earth Kingdom. Its a big move, especially for a character who seemed to previously struggle so much with the loss of his title.

Now, we don't know much about Wu's upbringing, but we can make assumptions based on his behaviour, and our established knowledge of Ba Sing Se royals and their upbringing.

Wu may have grown up isolated in a palace, leaving him accustomed to luxury and attention, and unaccustomed to the outside world. No wonder he reacts fearfully to the unfamiliar and expects admiration. Despite this, I beliebe he genuinely is a kind person, but may have been raised to prioritise other things like power and wealth, perhaps by his aunt. Since the swamp may have shown us a projection of Wu's insecurities, but every image the swamp has shown has been generated by an actual past event (except for Aang's premonition of Toph).

But perhaps interacting with Mako, who treays him like an actual human is ehat leads Wu to get so attached to him. And later meeting Mako's family, people who are so genuine that made him want to follow his instinct to be kind rather than whatever he was raised to prioritise.

Also look at him, he's just a babie boy.
