A/N: Yes, the things I wrote in my Korassami fics are transferred in here. I've had these headcanons since I started writing Korrasami fics, I can't let go of them.

SOKKA

Is all about that pillow talk. There might be a humble brag thrown in somewhere in there, but generally speaking he wants to make sure you're okay. He's really tuned into how you talk to him after, he's clinging onto every word you as as hard as he's clinging onto you. Starts to sound a bit sleepy as he rambles on, eventually drifting off to sleep next to you.

ZUKO

Doesn't want to make it sound like he's fishing for compliments and praise but he is. Constantly in fact, during the act and especially after. He likes to know he did good, he might have seen it, felt it, but he wants you to let him know even more. His hand is holding yours while he pulls you next to him and he kisses your forehead, affirming to you that he had a good time too.

KORRA

Would really like to cuddle but not before she fetches food and water for you both. It's really important that you both keep your energies up. You never know if you might want a round 2, or 3, or 4. So it's always good to eat and drink afterwards. She will bite and lick your fingers if you try to feed her anything and if you try to steal her food you'll find yourself pinned against the bed.

ASAMI

Smirks at you as she counts the many lipstick marks she left on your body. Her finger tickling you, making you shiver under her touch and she likes it, she likes how easy it is to tease you, wind you up. Maybe she's doing it purposely, maybe she's just helping you calm down and likes the physical contact. Either way she'll leave at least one mark for you to see when you walk up to the mirror.

BOLIN

Pulls you on top of him and snuggles his face against your neck. Don't tell him about the sweat or any other fluids, he doesn't mind one bit, he wants to cuddle with you now. He always makes you feel safe and appreciated, even if he does get rougher if you ask him for some roleplay, he is an actor after all. But he is also mindful not to hold you too hard, he doesn't want to hurt you.

MAKO

Never admits how much he likes the scratch marks you leave on his back, arms and thighs but you always catch him looking at them in the mirror afterwards. As soon as he notices you're fully awake again he rushes to kiss you deeply, his tongue seeking yours. Usually he's pretty stoic but in bed he's always passionate. He wants to return all the affection you show to him on the regular basis.

Walking to the training room, you stopped when you saw the other firebender in there and you sighed heavily, walking over to the far corner.

“Oh.. (Y/N)! Hey! Hi!” Mako smiled.

He walked over and you looked at him, as you sat down on the bench to put your training shoes on.

“What Mako?”

“Nothing, I just wanted to come talk for a little bit.” He beamed.

“Well, I’m busy, and you have a tournament to be getting too.”

Mako sighed a little and nodded his head, walking away.

He’d been trying to talk to you for weeks, he liked you, he though you were cool and amazing. The only one person probending team.

You were strong.

But that’s not why he was interested in you, he was interested in you because he just thought you were amazing.

He just didn’t know how to go about telling you that, you were so cold and distant from everyone, you didn’t talk much to anyone.

But he was determined, and that wasn’t going to stop him.

After his tournament, he went back to the training room to see that you were still in there sitting in the middle of the room.

Mako walked over, sitting in front of you with a smile on his face.

“We won.”

“Congratulations what do you want a medal? It’s your job to win.”

Mako sighed.

“Have I done something to make you mad (Y/N) because if I have I’m sorry.”

You looked up at him.

“You’re always so cold and distant whenever I try to talk to you, it’s just… I like you, okay? I think you’re amazing but every time I talk to you I get the feeling you don’t want anything to do with anyone.”

You blinked.

“You like me?”

“Well.. yeah..”

He frowned a little and looked down at you looked at him.

You did have to admit, Mako was good looking, and despite the fact he could be rude at the best of times, he’d never been rude to you.

You though maybe it was because he viewed you as weak, or fragile, and it’s why he treated you so differently.

But you were wrong.

That wasn’t the reason at all.

You looked at Mako and stood up, stopping next to him, you looked down at him.

He had his hands balled into fists, his head titled downstairs.

Reaching out, you placed your hand in his head and he froze, eyes wide.

“And I thought you were treating me differently because you saw me as weak.”

You started to walk away but you stopped, turning around to look at him.

“Well, come on Mako.”

“What? Where?”

He got up and ran after you down the hallways and out into the city.

“You’re buying me coffee.”

“Seriously?!”

You looked up at his grinning face and gestured to the coffee shop nearby.

“Lead the way.”

Mako grinned even brighter if it were possible and he quickly led the way while you walked slightly behind him

Now I have to ask- WHY do you hate Pacific Rim?

Okay, fair warning, this is about as bitter and salty and small-minded as day-old caviar. But. My bitter, salty (probably fishy) opinion:

Pacific Rim is only a good movie because it's a well-written story about robots punching monsters.

That's it. That's all there is to the movie.

I started out merely disappointed by Pacific Rim. We went gaga for the preview materials that promised these unique well-rounded character pairs and trios with these idiosyncratic robots from all these different Pacific nations... And then the movie itself is about some bland white American guy who pilots a robot named a racial slur, the second most fleshed-out team is bland white Australian guys, and the Chinese team is there, kind of, in the background, but don't worry they're going to die first. The "character-driven story" turned out to be "various characters take turns punching aliens" but, sure, whatever, I love the MCU so why not.

The day I went from "Pacific Rim is overrated" to "Pacific Rim is the worst thing that has ever happened to human civilization, I'm extremely normal about this" was the day I saw a Tumblr post suggesting we replace the Bechdel test with the Mako Mori test. Because Mako Mori has her own plot and doesn't kiss North Carolina at the end, making her a whole new type of feminist icon.

To which I was like:

We are talking about the same movie here, right? The Pacific Rim that can't even pass the Bechdel test? The Pacific Rim that's all about might-makes-right, the Pacific Rim that has ONE speaking role for ONE female character in its (from IMDB) 50-person cast? The Pacific Rim that repeatedly puts its only female character in danger and has her rescued by first Idris Elba then North Carolina? THAT Pacific Rim?

Is there a different Mako Mori I haven't met? Because the one I've seen a) has a character arc driven by deciding whether to obey her father or follow her heart, which is as inoffensive and stale as an unblessed communion wafer, b) does nothing that Ellen Ripley didn't do 30 years earlier, but with about 5% of the character depth Ripley got, and c) stands there in silence looking sad as two men punch each other over the question of her virtue.

Any post assuming this movie invented the idea of "small Asian woman kicks monster ass" needs to learn its damn history. Especially the ones acting like her being physically small is somehow a feminist bonus. There's something embarrassingly ahistorical about the whole thing.

And look. I get how we got here. I know how easily Tumblr backs you into a rhetorical corner of "calling a story Good can never mean merely 'enjoyable'; calling a story Good must mean 'virtuous'". Until next thing you know you're arguing that actually, shipping Obi-Wan/Darth Vader is a net good for all of society, because gay divorced middle-aged tyrants who use supplemental oxygen and murdered their exes in a custody dispute over the one kid (out of two) they actually care about deserve to see themselves in sci fi too! You only end up in that corner because half the time you're arguing against someone who says that shipping Obi-Wan/Darth Vader is literally the same thing as supporting father-son incest, so your real reasons for shipping them (1. foe yay, 2. old man yaoi) seem wildly insufficient.

Much of what I see about Pacific Rim seems neck-deep in the "it's not allowed to be a Good Movie unless it single-handedly dismantles the patriarchy" fallacy. There's nothing progressive about shipping two dudes best known for chopping off each other's body parts with laser swords. And there's nothing progressive about a movie having its only female character hug the male protagonist at the end instead of kissing him. You're allowed to like a thing just because it's well-made, without acting like a bog-standard normatively-broey action flick somehow invented a new form of feminism. Anyway, "Pacific Rim is a perfectly fine movie" is the hill I will die upon, heretical though it may be.

Overwatch Handholding Headcanons Part 1

I just wanted to do something simple and cute to fuel my soul.

Part one of four

Ramattra He isn’t used to showing affection let alone PDA. The way he would hold your hand is simple. He would gently nudge your hand with his, brushing his pinky against yours, hoping you get the message and that he doesn’t need to ask for it. His grip can be a little harsh so he favors you wrapping your hand around one or two of his larger digits. You enjoy the cool smooth feel of his hands. You know this is a big step for him and you don’t outwardly make a fuss. Simply take his silent plea for the contact.

Hanzo Hand-holding is something he thought was silly, childish. Something lovestruck teenagers did. But after you took his hand a few times, he decided it was far from silly and he found that he enjoyed how your hand felt against his. You would hold his, waiting for Hanzo to take your hand fully in his, a mumble of half-hearted complaint under his breath. He might pretend to protest but you made him feel worthy and he adored it.

Roadhog You didn’t think he would be the type to want to hold hands, he was rough and fearsome. A reputation as a fighter, a criminal. But holding your hand reminds him of better times, of the man he used to be, the good man he was before the world changed and he was forced to change with it. His touch is surprisingly gentle, his hand feels warm, rough skin. He likes to place his over yours when you are sat together.

Junker Queen She pulls your arm damn well near off as she grabs your wrist and yanks you towards her. She smirked down at you, wondering how small your hand looked in hers. Rough skin and even rougher grip as she holds tight. Your hand will ache for a while after but you decide it's worth it. Everything about her is rough around the edges and how she lovingly crushes your hand is no different.

Venture They love to hold hands, soon as they see you, their face lights up and their smile streches into a big toothy grin as they make grabby hand gestures before taking both your hands in theirs, spinning you slightly as they laugh, content to be in your company. When walking hand in hand they can’t help but happily sway your arms back and forth as they chat excitedly at you.

Notices you putting your leg up so he does it too, mirroring you perfectly. It's not to tease you or make fun of you at all, he just thought the gesture was a cute one so he wanted to do it too. From then on he did it every time the two of you kissed each other. Even if it was in front of all of your friends, since it means they know he likes kissing you very much.

ZUKO

Chuckled when he was that your leg was still in the air when your lips parted from him. Since that's the case you must have really been caught up in that kiss. If anything he finds it very flattering that his kisses, small as that single kiss was, has that much power over you. He would never tell you not to do something that makes you happy, don't be embarrassed for it.

KORRA

Thought you were about to fall over so her arms tightened around you, leading to a deeper kiss than it was initually. Not that you minded that and melted into it easily, holding her closer too. Later you had to explain why you popped your leg up like that and that it was sign of you enjoying the kiss. Ah, well you could have just said so, she was worried for a moment.

ASAMI

Was the first one who did it, quickly followed by you and neither of you noticed until you broke the kiss. Both of you looked at each other and started laughing at how silly you must have looked. Hopefully no reporters passed by right then and took a picture. As a CEO she wasn't so lucky because the next day thay very picture was on the front page of the newspapers.

BOLIN

Picked you up and spun you around when he saw your leg popped up behind you. Being the romantic that he is he always dreamed of making someone have that reaction to his kiss. Now you made his romantic dreams come true and he couldn't be happier. However since this is him he will also occasionally tease you about it, and hope that he gets to see you do it again.

MAKO

Knew he could make you swoon easily but he didn't realize it was to that extent. A smile spread against his lips, still pressed against yours before he pulled away and pointed out the gesture. He doesn't really see himself doing the same, he's not the type but you can do that all you want. In fact it would be very helpful if you did, that way he knows his charm works.
