my longest streak of going without a cold (11 days) just got broken :(
#:)#wet pathetic beast gets headaches and sniffles for the gajillionth time#right as i decide i'm well enough to probably have a day out. cruel and evil things keep happening to me#parents are both getting a gnarly sounding respiratory infection so there's a nonzero chance it's covid and i end up family guy death pose#can't tell if this is an organ failure thing a fucked immune system thing or a no longer being on vitamin D thing#just. think it's coincidental that the entire time i was on vitamin D i felt the best i had in months#and then four to five days after finishing my two week prescription i start tanking again#almost exactly lining up with the amount of time it would take for oral medication to leave your system. curious!#i think the vitamins are safe to take long term so i might go beg my consultant to put me on it long term as a treat

Me the first two sessions with my psychiatrist: Yeah I'm doing great, I love my job, I love my life!
Me at the third session: I've been lying to you this whole time about everything, and I may be dying
#we had a productive session#i havent been taking my meds for over a year. but i told her i have been for the first two sessions#because im not super mentally ill in the summer so i thought i was fine#famous last sentiments i guess#once winter hit i remembered im on meds for a reason#so i told her i actually havent been taking my meds and im dealing with the consequences#i thought shed be mad at me. she wasnt#she just said that we'll get me started on the low starting dose and work our way back up to the normal dose#soni made another appointment with her and got some low doses ordered#and then i made an appointment for a vitamin d lab cuz ive been deficient on that for forever#and then made a gyno appointment cuz im a disaster#very productive morning#im about to go to a work meeting#moral of the story: dont go off your meds#and if you do tell your psychiatrist about it. they wont be mad

an important rule of nutrition is that, generally, you won't see any benefits from taking supplements if you already get enough of a nutrient in your diet. if you already get enough vitamin c (and if you eat basically any produce or processed sour foods at all, you probably are getting enough vitamin c), then taking supplements won't increase your immune system's efficacy. if you don't have a zinc deficiency (and you almost definitely don't. it's a rare one), then taking zinc supplements probably won't increase your semen volume. etc etc etc. proper nutrition helps prevent problems but it doesn't create benefits, if that makes sense.
#also if you're american you're statistically almost definitely not getting enough fiber.#so you can take fiber supplements. if you really want to take healthy pills for your body#also you should be wearing sunscreen and taking vitamin d supplements. theyre cheap

My hair is finally growing in and growing out, which is great! I’m seeing real texture in it for the first time in ages because it’s actually got enough bulk to do things!
However —
I am less than thrilled with the one strand in my bangs that has decided it’s texture is stick straight while the rest is trying for soft ringlets

I need to just never decide to go to bed at a reasonable hour because it never works and often leads to me staying up even later
#i want my fucking mushroom tortellini for lunch but if i wake up after 10 i wont eat breakfast until 11 and then i wont be hungry to make#them. and i can't not have breakfast because ill be too hungry to wait to make them and we have frosted mini wheats and youre a FOOL if you#think im not having those at every opportunity#also dont tell me to try melatonin i have tried every possible time you could take it and it made it worse#and dont tell me to take vitamin d either. that helped for about a month four years ago and hasnt helped since#the body is tired and so is the mind but the mind is also running a 5k

Alrighty, here we go! Ask compilation for Regimen stuff > Realistically, I dont think it would happen. Everybody knows that Tom is too important to lose, and that if he dies in RA HQ itself, there would be hell to pay, and its going to be the indiscriminate kind. So all in all, they'd probably try to keep him alive and well, unless they want their commander to forget his 'no killing staff (without plausible reason and replacement)' rule.
Very nice, pleasant enough to look at, and of course a vital base for all the wonderful art we have at present. Without it, anime wouldn't exist so hes thankful for them <3

#oh you’re fatigued weak out of breath and have feelings of low mood?? let’s see if surgery to reduce your weight can help#I hate my local drs they don’t take me seriously and only see me as a person who needs to loose weight to be cured like#sorry my lack of vitamin D is from covid and not being a fatty fatso#I cried for like an hour and then had to go to work#my gran thought I was having a heart attack#take vitamin D guys or u might have to get ur stomach stapled !!
