Ramblings about Harusono's works and like friendships and intimacy because I can
I put this under a cut cause it got so much longer than I intendedđ
So like I seen some people point out the like weird almost pre romance vibes between sasaki and Hirano. Like I was thinking maybe this just comes from Harusono not being very good at writing friendship and the desire to be closer and admiration without making it seem romanticđ. Because like Butai ni Sake it's about theatre and coming out of your shell and friendship and it's cute and great but then there's like THIS
(these are just some examples there's more though)
AND IT'S LIKE WEIRD cause like it FEELS romantic but it's NOT. It's not meant to be romantic. Butai ni Sake is not a bl and it's not a romance. So then WHY IS IT SO DAMN ROMANTIC?? I feel like this comes from in part due to Harusono's artstyle which is flowery and pretty and light and soft and makes everything a little bit more romantic and the way she draws characters looking at each other with just like pure LOVE in their eyes and even though it's platonic or is not meant to be romantic, it just FEELS so just intimate and romantic.
And it's like this beautiful intimacy of the friendships, Maki and all of Asahi's middle school friends trying to get into the same high school as him because they miss him even though he went ghost, and Asahi and Imari wanting to act together forever and in the future choosing to make a theatre troupe, and Botan just KNOWING all of her friends so so well, the entire theatre club traveling to give Asahi a ride to school so he would be comfortable, Tsumugi and Imari being childhood friends and knowing each other so well that even when Tsumugi says he hates Imari he still wants him around (they need to be studied I swear), Asahi's middle school friends going to see him in the play and being so happy he's doing well despite his changes. These are all just beautiful moments of friendship but like when Harusono writes and draws it, it FEELS more intimate than friendship. It's like these are moments of friendship but the way they are portrayed is just woah.
Anyway back to sasahira lmaođđ the whole like thing in the stairwell from the light novel, it IS romantic framing and it's weird cause this is a friendship and they recently met and it shouldn't be as intimate as it feels but it is. ALSO it reminds me of the first chapter in Adachi to Shimamura. Also I feel like we don't talk enough about how like Kagi and Sasaki are kinda similar but also very different but like not that much, but Sasaki isn't Kagi and Hirano isn't Miyano which is exactly why their relationship isn't romantic because they're THEM. (does that even make sense lmao đ)
BUT LIKE ALSO she does know how to write friendships without them seeming romantic or weirdly intimate because we see that in Butai ni Sake and Sasaki to Miyano, the friendships between Miyano and Tashiro Shirahama and Kuresawa, Botan and Asahi, Ogasawara and Sasaki, Hanzawa and everyoneđ, the art club director and Asahi.
And it's now it's like really weird because we have these friendships that don't seem strangely Intimate or romantic and it's like, so maybe that is intentional? And it's like WHY THOUGH?? Or maybe it's not intentional and it's just a result of misinterpretation? I'M LOSING IT OH MY GOSHđ
Okay that's it for now thanks for sticking around to read it if you made it this far, I would love to hear otter people's thoughtsâșïž

heyyaaa! If you have time in ur schedule, could you please do âprotective boyfriendâ head-cannons or a blurb for Tsukishima and Osamu? (I humbly ask of you if youâre able to and if you can Matsukawa or Tendo as wellđđONLY IF YOU WANT TO THO)
remember to drink water heh
haikyuu men as protective bfs <3
ft. tsukishima, osamu, matsukawa, and tendou !
note: honestly it was sm fun to write this, but i think most of this is ooc and over exaggerated đ anyways chat think of this as a new year's gift ! đ„ł warnings: annoying men... mention of tits in osamu's. use of babe, bitch, and prude in tendou's. use of babe in matsukawa's. ooc tendou and matsukawa probably đ fem!reader !!

â§ïœĄ kei tsukishima
going to your boyfriendâs volleyball matches was always a fun experience. the electricity and passion some players exuded was truly contagious.Â
also, you got to see him being all hot and sweaty.
definitely an amazing time!
everyone in the sendai frogs were always incredibly welcoming to you, too. his teammates even ask about you when youâre not there (or, at least thatâs what tsukishima tells you). regardless of whether or not heâs telling the truth, you would say you do feel truly welcome and comfortable around there.
today was match day. you made sure kei had everything ready, though itâs not like heâs the type to be forgetful or anything. still, he lets you fuss over him all you want without uttering a complaint (which you know must have been truly difficult for him).
once you got to the location where his team would be playing, he bid you goodbye with a short peck on the cheek. his teammates waved to you, too. there were two new teammates, just as kei had told you. you recognized kentaro from highschool, and though he still had the same grumpy attitude, he was nice enough to you. the other guy, though⊠you had no clue who he was.
settling on a seat with a decent view of the match, you prepared yourself for the exhilarating time you were probably about to have.
and that you did.
the sendai frogs won 2-1, and you really couldnât have been happier. well, actually, it felt as if you were about to have a heart attack throughout the duration of that whole game. everytime kei jumped up to block a powerful spike you felt your heart jump. you imagined any doctor would think youâre close to having your heart malfunction.
you basically raced out of the audience seats, already ready to jump into your boyfriendâs arms and congratulate him with many kisses and hugs that he will probably complain about. whatever âhe can mutter all the complaints he wants about pda and stuff, but youâre too happy to not smother him with love.
one problem, though.
you could not find him anywhere.
no matter, you figured he was probably in the changing room or something. you could just wait outside for him for a bit, and if he didnât come out, youâd go look for him.
meanwhile, tsukishima was trying his hardest to not blow up at his new teammate.
âis she your friend, then?â he asked him. it was probably his 100th question regarding you at this point, and he was well past his tolerance limit.
âno.â
âso⊠your sister?â
tsukishima scoffed, you two didnât even look alike. âno.â
âjeez, no need to be so harsh, dude. i just think sheâs hot,â the guy stated, while changing into a clean shirt.
koganegawa, whoâd been listening in, cheerfully piped up. âwell, sheâs his girlfriend! so i donât think tsuki appreciates that very much.â
the guyâs eyes widened. âoh. i didnât know dude, my bad.â
tsukishima cast him a cold glare and resumed changing without another word.
you were getting antsy waiting for him. what is taking him so long? you were bored. well, you figured enough time had passed that itâd be okay for you to go looking for him, so you did. but, while you were heading his way, you bumped into a man.
âoh! iâm so sorry! i was distracted,â you apologized deeply.
âitâs no problem, really. i-â the man said, before stopping abruptly.
â...is something the matter?â you asked, noticing the way the manâs wide gaze roamed over you.
a sudden grin appeared on his face, his expression resembling one of someone whoâd just won the lottery ticket.Â
âyouâre absolutely gorgeous.â
you sputtered, taken aback by his directness. âoh uh⊠thank you?â
âcan i have your number?â he asked, smirking at you.
âi have a boyfriend so uhâŠâ
âawe come one, he doesn't have to know, right?â he chuckled. suddenly, you recognized the man in front of you. this was tsukiâs new teammate, the one you didnât know anything about. he saw you with tsuki before the match, so why would he be asking you out? surely he knew you were his teammate's girlfriend?
âcome on, just your number, yeah?â he persisted. âyouâre allowed to have friends, aren't you?â
you laughed awkwardly, âwell i umâŠâ
âmove.â
your boyfriend's harsh voice saved you from answering. the guyâs head snapped back, towards his teammate who was now towering over him. he suddenly seemed incredibly flustered, as if he hadnât been expecting to be caught.
âoh, sorry man. i was just-â
âhitting on my girlfriend?â
ân-no! we were just talking, right?â he said, directing his question towards you.
tsukishima didnât have to wait for your answer, he knew well enough what this manâs intentions were. âi would suggest you leave her alone, unless youâd like to make this a bigger problem than it has to be.â
the guy hesitated for a second, before he finally spoke. ây-yeah, of course. my bad.â
he scurried away, not without taking a few looks back at you two. your boyfriend scoffed, seemingly angrier and more upset at the situation than you were.
âthat was hot.â
tsukishimaâs widened as he snapped his head towards you and stared as if you were the most insane person heâd ever met.
âexcuse me?â
âyouâre hot when youâre protective,â you giggled. âdo that more often.â
he raised a brow at you. âyouâre crazy.â
âaww, thatâs mean!â you fake pouted. âyou have to make it up to me now.â
he tilted his head quizzically at you, deciding to humor you. âhow?â
you grinned from ear to ear. âletâs go shopping!
noticing the way your eyes sparkled as you suggested that, he couldnât possibly say no.
he rolled his eyes and adjusted his glasses. âfine,â he agreed. âbut weâre eating first. iâm starving.â

â§ïœĄ osamu miya
most of your dates with osamu were indoors, in a private space where the only people around were you two. just relaxing with you is his favorite type of date. still though, he loves to spoil you. so, thatâs exactly what heâs doing today.
ââsamu this is too much,â youâd told him.
ânonsense,â he replied simply. âiâm your boyfriend, therefore itâs my duty to spoil ya, isnât it?â
âbut this,â you said, signaling to the expensive outfit heâd bought you. âthis is too expensive.â
he simply shook his head. âget dressed, yeah? iâm taking ya out.â
all you could do was roll your eyes and try to smother the grin that was threatening to come up.
the outfit heâd bought you was nice, really nice. youâd seen it at a store before, and you couldnât help but think it was incredibly beautiful. heâd noticed, apparently, as heâd bought it without even taking note of the price tag. it was also kind of revealing, but nothing all that scandalous. you felt beautiful, really. you took note to make sure to be extremely grateful to him.
osamu loves cooking for you, he really does. heâs basically become your private chef, which works out since you also adore his cooking. tonight, however, he was temporarily relinquishing his title and taking you to some expensive restaurant. though heâd try to deny it, this was more a treat to him than to you. after all, heâs the one practically drooling as he looks over the menu.
you giggled as you looked at him, quickly scanning over the menu and deciding on what youâd be having.
âhello, are you both ready to order?â
you tilted your head up to look at the waiter, straightening your back as you realized youâd been slouching. âoh, yes, thank you,â you replied, quickly listing off your order, pointing at the items in the menu.
when you turned to look at osamu, he was staring daggers at the waiter. you frowned and kicked his leg under the table. he coughed awkwardly and listed off his order, too.
âwhat was that?â you asked, both concerned but also slightly amused.
âmy order?â
âdonât mess with me, âsamu.â you threatened.
âhe was starinâ at ya.â he answered simply.
âwell. yeah. i was ordering.â
âno, i mean like⊠staring at ya,â he emphasized. osamu sighed, âput this on.âÂ
he took off his jacket and handed it to you. âya can take it off when we leave. or we can ask for a different waiter.â
you scrunched your eyebrows. ââsamu i really donât think-â
âhe was starinâ directly at your tits.â
your eyes widened. âoh!â
âyeah, so unless ya want me to bust open that guyâs head, please wear this for now.â
it was impossible to smother your grin as you put on his jacket. you giggled softly, âyouâre so cute when youâre mad.â
he rolled his eyes lightheartedly, âsure.â
âoookay, here we go,â said the waiter as he returned minutes later. he gave osamu his food wordlessly, maybe too intimidated by the way he was glaring at him, or maybe just because he didnât care.
âand food for the beautiful lady!â he chuckled as he placed your food in front of you. osamuâs jaw tightened. you looked down to your plate awkwardly.
â...thanks,â you said, starting to eat.
the waiter didnât leave. it seemed he was waiting to say something, but didnât. he hesitated, and once it finally seemed as if he was going to get the words out, osamu cleared his throat.
âweâre all done here, no need to linger,â he grumbled.
the man seemed taken aback by osamuâs hostility. you kicked him underneath the table again. âof course. right. iâll be back later with your check.â
osamu hummed in reply. when he turned back to you, he was scowling. his silly face almost made you forget immediately about the awkward interaction that just took place. almost.
âyou looked so mad, âsamu. i almost thought you were gonna walk out of here.â
he looked at you as if you were a lunatic, then turned his gaze towards his food. âno jerk could ever make me waste food.â
you laughed. of course, nothing could ever come between osamu and his love for food. not even an annoying waiter. you suspected that, if an apocalypse ever took place, he would also prioritize his food over anything. except maybe you.
âwhen weâre done we should go get dessert. not here, though. i donât want to see that fucker again.â
all you could do was laugh and roll your eyes at his pettiness.

â§ïœĄ issei matsukawa
matsukawa is an easy going guy. he doesnât lose his temper that easily. he doesnât get mad over silly jokes. he lets maki tease him, doesnât he? he tries his best to keep his composure during games. he even keeps his cool when his little brother is being all pissy. and yeah, he might get pissed at kentaro every once in a while, but who wouldnât, what with that guyâs attitude and all?
that is the mantra he keeps repeating to himself over and over as he watches some jackass try to put the moves on you.
okay, well, that jackass is actually a really good friend of yours.
âŠwhich actually might make it all worse for him.
he canât insult the guy or fight him, heâs your friend after all. at least thatâs what you think. you seem blissfully oblivious to the guyâs painful crush over you.
matsukawa figures he can either break the news to you, or let you remain happily unaware.Â
or better yet, a secret third option!
he can just break the guyâs jaw and make him never bother you again.
actually, that one might be a little extreme.
well, he had to do something. watching that jerk trying to get all touchy touchy with you pissed him the fuck off. even more than kentaroâs snarky comments.
âbabe,â he called.
your head snapped towards him, your mouth immediately twisting into a delighted grin at the sight of him.
âissei!â you exclaimed. âi didnât know youâd be here today. i thought you were hanging out with maki?â
he was, but maki had to leave early for a job interview. the detail didnât matter, though. âoh, i just missed you so much i had to come back to you.â he snaked his arms around your waist, burrowing his head on your neck.
you slightly scrunched your eyebrows at his odd behavior. it wasnât like him to act this way.
âi hope maki isnât upset that you ditched him to hang out with me.â
âoh, not at all! he knows how important it is for guys to hang around their girlfriends.â he said, adding emphasis on the last word as he pulled away from you. he stared down the guy and pushed his shoulders back to appear taller. though itâs not like he needed to, mostly anyone can confirm how intimidating matsukawa can be thanks to his height.
your friend laughed nervously. ây-yeah.â
matsukawa wrapped an arm around your shoulders. âwe should go on a date, then. what do you feel like eating?â
âoh, we were actually just about to go have lunch,â your friend chimed in, his voice suddenly sounding sure of himself.
matsukawa cast a dismissive glare towards him. âwell sheâs my girlfriend, isnât she?â
your friend scoffed, âi donât think-â
âperfect, then!â he interrupted your friend before he could object. âletâs go, babe. we can go to your favorite place. my treat, of course.â
âo-okay?â you replied, confused at the interaction that had just taken place.
you let matsukawa drag you all the way to the parking lot before pulling your arm away.
âwhat the hell was that?â you exclaimed.
âwhat was what?â he said, already seemingly back to his normal attitude.
âyou were so rude to him!â
âi donât think you should be friends with him anymore.â he simply answered, not exactly taking into account your previous comment.
you sputtered before finally saying, âsince when do you have a say in who iâm friends with?â
he cast his gaze on you, soft, despite the current conversation. âi just donât think heâs good company to have around.â
âwhat do you mean?â
he sighed, before finally admitting, âheâs in love with you.â
you blinked repeatedly at him in shock. âhe is?â
âyes, and i donât like that.â
you opened and closed your mouth, unsure on what to say.
âi didnât know.â
âi know.â
both of you stood silently in the parking lot, before he finally gave in and spoke first. âi donât want to control who you are or arenât friends with. itâs not my job,â he sighed and ran his hand through his hair. âbut i donât feel exactly comfortable having you around him, knowing his intentions and all.â
you stared at him before meekly replying, âokay.â
he tilted his head, âokay?â
you nodded. âi understand what you mean. i, uhm⊠iâll have a chat with him, to see if he does have feelings for me. iâll cut him off if he does, because i donât think iâd feel very comfortable around him then either.â
matsukawa nodded too. âalright. letâs go have lunch then. i think the place closes earlier today.â
you paused, âactually⊠can we go to the new place that just opened up nearby instead? iâve been wanting to try it out.â
he laughed, âsure, whatever you say.â

â§ïœĄ satori tendou
parties are fun, arenât they? all the people, blasting music, drinks, and more, make an amazing atmosphere for those who enjoy it. and halloween parties are even better! who doesnât enjoy a fun costume?
tendou canât really say itâs his atmosphere. he also wouldnât say that he fits into the group of people who don't like them. heâs just⊠okay with them. though, for you, heâs more than okay with them.
he let you put him in some cheesy halloween costume. a chef, you told him. you were dressed as some rat, though he thought you looked way too gorgeous to be called that. you had insisted the idea was cute, it was from a movie, after all. and, while he wasnât entirely against the idea to begin with, all your insistence convinced him he had no way out of it either way.
âdonât you like it when i pull on your hair?â you had teased him. âitâs the perfect role for you.â
âand that is why iâm buzzing allllll my hair off.â
âdonât you dare!â
so, here you were. a big halloween party, both of you matching in a coupleâs costume. he looked okay, but you⊠you looked absolutely breathtaking. before you left you had made a comment about being a sexy mouse, chuckling afterwards. a reference, he figured. heâd have to make you watch the movie with him later.
he definitely wasnât the only one who thought you looked amazing. you know, taking into account the guy that was practically hanging onto you for dear life.
immediately, once he noticed that and how uncomfortable you looked, he rushed over to save you.
âohhh, what do we have here?â he asked, trying to keep his tone light to hide his clear annoyance.
âoh, hey dude,â replied the man, having a noticeably slur to his words. âjust tryna convince this babe to give me a little kiss, or come to the bathroom with me for some fun, ya feel me?â the man laughed, the smell of alcohol so strong he bet everyone in the party would have smelled it.Â
tendou narrowed his eyes. âpersonal space sure is a fun thing, huh!â he said as he grabbed the man from his shoulders and tried to get him away from you.
the man pulled away and got closer to you once more, making you scoff in irritation, trying to pull him off once more. âugh, this asshole just grabbed onto me while i was getting a drink!â you complained, turning your attention back to the man. âand i already told you, i have a boyfriend!â
the man faked being upset. âhe doesnât have to know, gorgeous. now stop being a prude bitch and-â
tendouâs fist moved faster than the manâs mouth.
the man stumbled back, caressing his jaw in shock. you scurried far away from him, standing behind tendou, whose fake cheerful attitude was long gone.Â
he turned back to look at you, his face laced with concern.
âiâm fine,â you told him. noticing his doubt, you added, âi promise, okay? iâm fine.â
he nodded, seemingly convinced for now. and turned his attention back to the man.
it was almost like a switch turned on, really. first he was sweet and worried about you, then he returned to his mocking face. you figured it was an act, though. he wasnât the type to get incredibly angry at others. but he messed with you, so tendou would probably murder the guy if he could.
the man spit into the ground and scoffed, âwhat the hell is wrong with you, man?â
âohh, you know, i was just testing my theory on how many hits it would take for a pervert to get knocked out!â he fake-giggled. âdo you want me to keep going?â
the manâs scornful gaze was casted onto tendou, who didnât really seem like he was joking.
âyouâre creepy as fuck man,â coughed the man, âand youâre insane. dunno why sheâd choose you.â
âwell i know why no one chose you,â tendou said, dragging the last word in a mocking way.
âletâs go.â
tendou snapped his head toward you, his wide eyes curious as he tilted his head.
âhuh?â
âiâm tired. i just want to get some sleep,â you said, your voice so quiet you couldâve been an actual mouse. it broke his heart, really. how excited you were for the party, just to have your mood destroyed by some random creep.
he blinked at you, then blinked at the man, before abruptly standing tall. he decided it was best if he let the man be, and put his focus towards bettering your mood. you could watch that movie you referenced before, but youâd have to stop and buy snacks first. no matter, you are in dire need of more snacks in your pantry, so itâd work out.Â
his looming frame towered over you as he replied, already set on his plan, âokay, letâs go!â

hii! So I've never made a request before- but I was wondering if you could write a sunshine!reader Ă spencer where reader is a but dimmer(less sunshiney? Idk lol) than usual? Something sort of fluffy and comfort like if that makes sense :) I love your work sm and i saw your requests were open so- <33
Hii lovely ty for the requestđ„°! And thank you for loving my work, ilyđ hope this is okay. Warnings: fluff, reader is a bit upset, mentions of food/drink, use of pet names(0.9k)
You come to work without your usual cheery aura. You greet everybody with a smile, but Spencer sees right through it. He can tell the difference between your real smile, and between this fake smile. I mean, he would be kind of a bad boyfriend if he couldn't differ them.
Spencer comes up to your desk, his hand immediately finds yours, "hi, sweetheart."
You look up at him, fake smile already plastered on your pretty face, "hi, Spence."
"Are you okay?" Spencer whispers, trying not to draw any attention to you.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I guess I just didn't sleep well," you respond way too quickly so Spencer knows you're lying right away.
"Really?" Spencer asks softly, trying to get the real answer.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Really." You form another fake smile on your face. But Spencer doesn't push you, he knows you'll tell him in your own time if you want to.
Spencer squeezes your shoulder lovingly, and lets you get back to work. And even though he isn't going to try, and force you to tell him what's wrong, he's not letting it go.
Spencer settles on the plan to try to cheer you up, even if just a little.
Spencer goes to grab a coffee to a little café near the Bau so he grabs a drink and some sweet pastries for you as well. He even buys you a flower, just one simple flower not a bouquet, but it's your favourite so he hopes that you'll like it.
As soon as Spencer gets back to the office he makes a beeline for you. You don't notice him coming, too focused on the papers, until the beautiful flower is right in front of your face.
"Oh," you yelp in surprise, small but genuine smile right away on your lips, "what's this?"
"This," he also puts the drink and the pastries on your table," is for you."
"For me? Why?" you ask a little confused, but Spencer already can see that your mood has been lifted even if just a bit.
"Just because," Spencer beams at you.
You raise your brows at him, "just because?" you giggle. Your giggle makes Spencer almost melt away.
"Yeah, " Spencer shrugs his shoulders. He would have bought you thousands of flowers if it meant that you would smile at him like this again. He overwhelmingly wants to kiss you, but he just can't kiss you in the middle of the office.
He decides that a little peck on your cheek wouldn't hurt. He quickly looks around, and then does it.
You cheeks go rosy, "thank you, handsome. This is really nice."
"Of course," Spencer smiles at you one more time before he leaves you be. He sits at his desk, and takes a sip of his coffee.
It's missing the very much needed sugar, even if he did ask for more sugar at the café It's still not enough. He goes straight to the small office kitchen.
You notice Spencer going there, and follow him. You can't believe how sweet Spence is. I mean, you know he's literally the sweetest person on the earth, but still it takes you by a surprise every time. It makes you love him even more everytime, too.
You swear, you were very close to crying when he brought you the flower. You haven't been feeling very well since the morning. It's just one of those days when you wake up with an upset mood, and there's no actual reason behind it. It's just this way sometimes.
You know Spencer noticed this bad mood. And of course, he's trying everything he can to make you feel better without being forceful. So you want to thank him again.
"Hi, sweetheart, need more sugar too?" Spencer notices you straight away.
"No, I just wanted to say thank you again, Spence," you say sheepishly.
"No need to say thanks again. I'm glad you like my little surprise," Spencer can't help it when you're around him, his hand immediately lands on your hip.
You try to give him a smile, but you just anxiously look at him, "I just... Y-you were right. I-I don't feel good today."
"Do you want to talk about it?" Spencer softly asks in hushed voice, his hand starts to do circles on your exposed skin where your sweater has risen.
"Can we talk about it later?" You don't feel like talking about it right now. Especially not at work. You'd rather do it later with Spencer's arms around you.
"Definitely, lovely. You can come to my apartment if you want to. We don't even have to talk, we could just put on a movie or something. Does that sound okay?" Spencer proposes unsurely, he doesn't want to make you even more sad. He wouldn't survive it for sure. He's so used to your happy smiles and cheerful mood that it's weird seeing you so sullen. He doesn't like seeing you like this at all, it breaks his heart a little.
"Sounds perfect." You look at him like you want to ask him also something else, and Spencer doesn't even need to guess to know what to do. He's seen those puppy eyes on your numerous times.
Spencer quickly wraps his arms around you, instantly whispering sweet things in your ear, "I love you, y'know that?"
"I know, love you, too," you say into his shirt, already feeling a small amount of tension leave your body.
You stay like that until you are positive that you are blushing like crazy from his compliments, and until someone else comes into the kitchen for a coffee (you don't want to be another lecture about inappropriate behaviour at work, you leave that to other people).

Hiiii can you do a request where reader has a crush on Geto and gets all nervous aroundđđ
Hii! Of course I can pookie! Thank you sm for my first request đđ„ș

Look me in the eyes
suguru geto X Shy!Reader headcannons
No TW! Femreader not proofread, so sorry for any mistakes :3
đBeing a sorcerer was always about confidence and standing your ground, there was no room for shyness at all, actually being a sorcerer was what bought you out of that shy like comfort zone, yet thatâs what you thought until you had met a certain someone.
đNow mind you, when you didnât have to mingle you didnât, you kept to yourself UNLESS you had missions or training with someone, but nope you being a loner only attracted way more attention from A outgoing, somewhat annoying white haired man.
đâY/n!! What are ya doing all alone! Come hang out with us!â you could hear his voice literally from miles away, and before you could even look up and say no he was already approaching you with another person, a dark hair man with a calm expression resting on his face.
âGojo Iâm busy..â You tried to mumble out only for him to immediately interrupt
âToo busy for us? Come onnn, you havenât even met my best friend!!â
đWith a soft sigh you finally managed to look up and almost immediately locked eyes with his so called best friend. You literally felt like your heart had skipped around 50 beats, because holy hell was that man attractive.
â..Nice to meet you, Iâm Suguru..â His voice, dear lord-, you opened your mouth to speak only to hear yourself stutter like a middle schooler
âI..Iâm..uh..Iâm..I..â
âHer names Y/nâ Gojo to the rescue- well thatâs what you think until you see that evil ass smirk
âYeah..im Y/n..â and thatâs where it all began.
đEverytime you would get around Geto your behavior would drastically change, from calm, cool and collected to a stuttering blushing mess.
đGojo was the first to pick up on this little crush of yours, always finding ways to bring Geto around you just to see that cool demeanor of yours collapse like a tower on an unstable foundation, and yes you hated him for it.
đâWell while you two..chat up, Iâm gonna get some drinksâ He knew exactly, what he was doing, and now you found yourself all alone with the one man who made your heart flutter with just his words alone.
đYou refuse to make eye contact with him, your glance down as you fidgeted with your hands, it was quiet for just a moment until he spoke up.
âYou know..I donât bite right?â
đYou cleared your throat and tried to form a coherent sentence without making a fool of yourselfâŠ
âWell..yeah I know..Iâm just..doing me..â You managed to reply.
â..is that so?âŠthen look at me..â
đRight then and there you felt like you could melt, you wanted to prove to yourself that no man Could make you weak in the knees. You wanted to look him dead in the eyes just to show him that you could, but..you couldnât. You froze
đJust then, then you felt a hand gently slide under your chin, your head turned to face Geto, that same smile that made you feel all melty inside on his face.
âAgain, I donât bite..â
đYour heart nearly pumped out of your chest, your face heated, that man did something to you that even god himself couldnât explain.. and you didnât like it..you loved it

PHASE ONE â always trust the match maker (jamieâs version)
part two
pairing(s): jamie drysdale x fem!reader, platonic!trevor zegras x fem!reader (besties), fem!oc (georgie) x fem!reader (roommates)
genre: a smidge of angst (like talks of breakup/dates gone wrong + reader feeling like sheâs not good enough for love), tons of fluff (jamie is a lovesick fool letâs be real), & comfort (in regards to hugs, etc.)
word count: 5.1k+
warning(s): trev thinking heâs cupid, bickering, trevor recruiting readers roommate into his âmaster planâ, mentions of familial teasing & making reader feel bad about her dating life, drinking + mentions of drinking, mentions of a party, cursing, lowkey moon!reader & sun!jamie, this is literally mostly filler lol
note(s): please remember that this is a work of fiction & nothing the characters in this work say or do is a reflection of them or what they do. i always try to make the reader as racially ambiguous as possible so please let me know if i did not achieve that in this work! :) readerâs job is also mentioned as a journalist. please ignore the numerous amount of times i say painted đ
It was an ongoing joke between your loved ones that you had bad taste in romantic partners. It somehow always being brought up during family gatherings, giggles gracing their lips as they recalled your past failed relationships and the kinds of people you had brought home throughout the years. You knew that they never truly meant to hurt you with their words but you couldnât help but feel your stomach drop and frown at their teasing everytime it happened. This was something that followed you from your hometown to your new place of residence in Anaheim, California, even during your near four years of living there. Especially when your good friend of those four years, Trevor Zegras, noticed the pattern one night and the world of your shitty past relationships were revealed to him.
( Trevor glanced at your approaching figure from the corner of his eye as you walked into his and Jamieâs small apartment, having just come back from somewhere as you paused by the doorway to take off your shoes. The man was in the kitchen making himself a bowl of cereal when he had heard the lock and door knob turn.
âWhatâs up?â Heâd asked.
A sigh was the only thing he heard as a response, the sound of your shoes hitting the floor barely a thud on the rugged portion of the entrance, something you had insisted on getting Trevor and Jamie as you had wanted to give their dull and barely decorated apartment some life.
âAlright, I know that sigh. Whatâs wrong?â.
It creeped you out at first at how well Trevor knew you when you first became friends. He was able to read you like a book, as clear as day. You never met someone like that before. Who took their time in memorizing your little habits and quirks, being able to immediately clock them and check in on you if needed. You had eventually found comfort in that. It was something that you had appreciated about your friend.
âJust a bad date sâall,â you replied, eyes still downturned towards the floor as you make your way to the kitchen, laying your warm and sweaty face onto the cool granite of the counter.
Trevor had turned his body towards you the minute you sighed, concerned laced in his facial features. His eyebrows furrowed as he watched you lay against the cold surface.
âA bad date? I didnât know you went on a date tonight. What happened?â He softly asked.
Another thing you were grateful for was that Trevor wouldnât immediately start teasing you about something if he saw you in a state like this, upset and flustered. It was something you had addressed to him very early on in your friendship and he respected that.
You briefly contemplated lying to the boy. But you told the truth anyway, deciding that this was something you needed to get off your chest.
âHe was just such aâŠdick, to put it nicely. He was late by nearly an hour and talked about his ex the entire time. He even expected me to get the bill, which I wouldnât have minded doing but he practically insulted me about my job saying how the only thing journalists do is gossip and shove rumors down everyone's throat. I literally couldnât wait to leave and get back hereâ.
Trevor had a frown painted on his lips once you finished explaining. He didnât know much of your dating history. Only that most of the people you dated were exes for a reason. Hearing about someone treating you like that made him sad and think how you most definitely deserved better.
The brunet didnât respond to your explanation, only handing you his bowl of cereal and going to pour himself a new one as he lead you to the couch afterwards, eager to take your mind off of the lackluster night. )
You are forever grateful to have someone like Trevor within your life. He treated you like family and never failed to make you feel welcomed within his presence. Something that you very rarely felt with anyone.
And just as you felt a smile spread across your face at the memory of Trevor giving you his last bit of favorite cereal from that night in an effort to make you feel better, your roommate, Georgie, had pulled you out of your thoughts with the wave of her hand passing over your eyes.
âHello? Earth to (Y/N)â.
You hummed out in acknowledgment, eyes shifting from their glazed over position to the figure of your roommate. She huffed in response.
âWhere were you just now, babe? Wait â no. Donât tell me. I know exactly who you were thinking of,â she smiled, bright teeth on full display as a teasing look spread across her face. âWas it a certain roommate of the Anaheim Ducks player number 11? Or a darked haired man that absolutely cannot play guitar for the life of him?â.
Her words caused you to groan out and roll your eyes, âNo. I was not thinking of Jamie, for your informationâ.
Georgie didnât seem to believe you, eyes narrowing as she tried to decipher whether or not you were lying to her.
The woman across from you knew of the âcrushâ you had on the dark haired man. It seemed to be quite obvious to everyone but the man in question. Georgie had commented one too many times on the kind of look you give him when he walks into the room or the kind of smile that subconsciously spreads across your lips when he makes conversation with you, something that Jamie rarely ever does to other people. You always insisted that he mustâve felt comfortable with you to engage in talk with you, but your roommate never failed to point out that he never talks to people first and he always approached you first to talk.
( âBabe, he practically gets excited when he sees you. I mean, dude, he has the biggest smile ever and willingly makes conversation with you first. I donât see him do that to Trevor every time he sees himâ. )
But regardless of the confirmations and signs that Jamie Drysdale may like you the way you like him, you always denied it. He felt too real. Too soft to be tainted and touched by your scarred heart. Too loving to have to put up with you. With the kind of dating history you had, it was hard to believe that you werenât a problem or a burden to others when in a relationship. Many of your exes had stupid excuses to leave you, all which left you heartbroken. It was hard to not believe the kinds of things they said after every relationship you had ended in a disaster one way or another. You completely believed that it was something you did that made them all leave and you did not want that for Jamie. You didnât think youâd be able to do that to him nor would you be able to recover from the inevitable heartbreak that awaits you on the other side. It was better to admire him from afar you had decided.
( You did not deserve someone so soft, so loving, and so kind. He looked at the world through rose tinted glasses and you forever had cracked lenses that were barely hanging on the frame of your face. It would never work out. )
Georgie licked her lips as she saw you begin to spiral back into your own head, sighing as she let out a breathy fine and left it at that. She returned to the topic she was discussing with you before she noticed you werenât even paying attention to the words she was speaking. She wasnât even entirely sure you were currently listening to her as your eyes began to glaze over once again.
Maybe I should take up Z on his offer, she thought to herself, fingers beginning to twirl around a strand of hair as she continued. Getting J and (Y/N) together is something that definitely needs to happen.
ââââ
âAh! There she is! The girl of the hour!â.
You wanted to crawl in on yourself and never come out when Trevorâs loud voice reached your ears upon entering his full and cramped apartment. You rolled your eyes and shook your head, raising the box of beers you had picked up at the last minute above your head. More cheers erupted upon your gesture.
Trevor had informed you of his âlittleâ get together approximately an hour before it was planned to start. It was nearing the beginning of the hockey season and he wanted to party and celebrate before his days were filled with hockey and nothing but hockey. He practically pleaded with you to come over when you had declined his offer, comfortably in bed with your comfort movie playing as you got ready to have an early night in. You only caved when Georgie bursted through the door and dragged you out of bed, demanding you accompany her to Trevorâs party. And thatâs how you ended up nearly two hours late to his party with beer in hand as an apology with Georgie trailing behind you.
âGod bless you sweets,â Trevor mumbled as he engulfed you in a hug, brushing his lips against your hairline, snatching the box of beers from your hands and setting it on the table upon pulling away.
You muttered a yeah yeah before making a beeline for the kitchen fridge, dead set on getting your usual drink. You werenât a big drinker nor were you able to handle hard alcohol so Trevor always made sure to get you more flavored drinks so you wouldnât feel left out on the âbuzzâ of the party.
The cool air of the fridge felt nice on your face compared to the warm heat that began to cling onto your skin from the amount of bodies around you. But as your eyes scanned the fridge and its compartments, you realized Trevor mustâve forgotten to stock up as you couldnât find a single drink of yours in sight. A frown quickly made its way onto your lips as you realized, already defeated.
âSome people were taking them so I hid them in my room. They might be a little warm if you still want them,â a soft and familiar voice spoke from the right of you, behind the shelter of the silver fridge door.
You slightly stilled upon hearing his voice. But that didnât stop a smile from making its way onto your face.
âHey, Jamie,â you spoke, gently closing the door of the fridge, fingers still lightly wrapped around the handle. âThatâs nice of you to do. You didnât have to do that yâknowâ.
He flashed you his infamous smile, making that warm and fuzzy feeling crawl up your stomach and settle in your chest. âI know. I wanted to. Plus, I know you wouldâve given Trevor shit for it and he seems too occupied right now to make a trip to the store for moreâ.
A giggle left your mouth in response to the man's observation. He wasnât wrong though. You would've definitely given Trevor shit for not putting the drinks in a safer place, making him feel bad to the point that he would be grabbing his keys and muttering a Iâll be back before exiting through the front door.
âItâs the least I could do for the amount of shit heâs put me through,â you joked, leisurely following Jamie as he led you to his room, weaving through the numerous bodies littered throughout the apartment.
You faintly heard the man chuckle, his head shaking as the fluffy ends of his hair followed the motion of his head. You found yourself smiling harder at the fact that you made Jamie Drysdale laugh, even if it was for a brief moment.
âWell, he definitely deserves it,â he responded, slightly turning towards you as he twisted the door knob of his bedroom door and opened it, revealing his half haphazardly clean room and the brightly colored alcoholic canned beverages on his night stand. âThatâs all of what was left. I tried to get more but nobody would budgeâ.
He rubbed the back of his neck as he spoke, eyes trained on the cans. He truly did try to convince those who had the same cans in their hands if they would be willing to trade it for another kind of drink. But they all just looked at him weirdly and declined, practically chugging the liquid in front of him to put more emphasis on their decision. Jamie knew they were one of the only alcoholic drinks that you would consume on nights like these and he didnât want you to miss out on the fun, if there was even any to start with, just because Trevor wasnât diligent enough to hide them somewhere else.
Your heart began to swell at the sweet gesture from the boy next to you. It was probably one of the sweetest things someone has done for you in a very long time. It made the warm feeling in your chest grow and spread up into your cheeks.
âThank you so much, Jimmy. I really appreciate it. This is more than enough, trust me,â you spoke, a gentle smile on your lips as you did so.
Jamie only nodded in reply to your words, copying your smile as he turned his head towards you and away from the condensating cans. The tips of his pale ears tinted pink.
He watched you as you made your way to his night stand and grab a can, promptly opening it before taking a sip. His blue eyes stayed on your figure as you tipped your head back to drink the beverage, lukewarm liquid filling your mouth before sliding down your throat as you swallowed. Jamie found himself copying you subconsciously, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down as he swallowed too. Everything about you seemed to enchant him, never able to take his eyes off of you as you did whatever or talked about whatever. There was just something about you that pulled him in. And he began to find himself addicted to it at times. Always itching for a new fix.
âYou want one?â you asked, nodding your head towards the cool cans, effectively pulling Jamie out of his stupor.
âOh, uh, no. Itâs okay. I already had, like, three beers anyway. I think Iâm done for the night,â he responded.
He was lying. He only had one. He was too nervous to drink. Trevor had informed him that you were going to be attending the party and he suddenly couldnât stomach anymore alcohol. Itâs not that you made him nervous in a bad way necessarily. The kinds of nerves he experienced around you was hard to put into words but the only thing he could describe it as was something akin to having an elementary school crush. Those excited nerves to see the new kid in school that you found cute. The kind that made him want to pull the flowers from the elderly ladyâs garden in his neighborhood and gift them to you as a token of his love. The kind that made him see you everywhere, even in the littlest things.
You narrowed your bright eyes at him, not being able to accurately tell if he was lying. A simple nod of your head was your only response as you took another sip of your drink and sat down on his neatly made bed covers.
You stared at the pictures tapped to his wall. Pictures of his family to his idols scattered the plain white walls of his room. It made you smile that he displayed those he adored and loved on his bedroom walls. You began to wonder what it would look like if he had you on there amongst the pictures of his loved ones. But as quickly as the thought popped into your head, it went away just as fast.
âI mustâve been like, six or something in that picture,â he spoke, gently making his way towards you, pointer finger brushing up against the printed picture of him as a child surrounded by both of his parents and brother, Pre-K graduation certificate tightly grasped in both hands as he brightly and widely smiled at the camera, his freckles danced across the bridge of his nose and apples of his cheeks. âHad just graduated Pre-K. My parents made such a big deal out of it. I thought it was the best day of my life back thenâ.
The softness of voice managed to catch you off guard a little, seeing a side of him you never really got the chance to see.
âYou look extremely proud of yourself, Drysdale. Very cute too. Your parents look proud too,â you said, tone matched in the same gentleness as his.
A grin made its way onto his face as he angled his head towards yours, eyes gleaming in something you werenât able to recognize as he sat next to you.
âOh, I know. Had all the older moms fawning over me and my adorably cute looks,â he joked, chuckling to himself.
You couldnât help but let out a giggle as well, gently pushing the thigh pressed against yours, shaking your head to yourself. âOf course. I wouldnâtâve expected anything less, Jamie. Bet you had all the Pre-K girls chasing after you on the blacktop too, huh?â.
âNah, they had cooties. I couldnât catch that!â he exclaimed in response, a hearty laugh escaping his soft lips as he gently pushed you with his shoulder, causing you to tip over a bit onto his pillow.
You had only gotten a small whiff of the smell but that was enough to make your insides twist and warmth in your body to completely engulf you. His pillow carried a small smell of his normal scent, something that made your mind entirely short circuit and mouth slightly water. You knew Jamie took well care of himself and smelled good. But getting more than just a quick sniff of it as he leaned in to listen to what you had to say while in a busy, buzzing bar or brushed past you made you slightly freeze in your tracks and just want to drown yourself in whatever he used as cologne.
Geez, get yourself together girl, the voice in your head scolded, shaking its head at your behavior and thoughts.
Jamie had opened his mouth to say something else when the door swung open, bouncing off the wall it had made contact with. A couple had stumbled into the room shortly after, lips and arms entangled with each other as they obviously wanted to find a vacant room for some privacy.
Your jaw dropped open in shock at the sight in front of you, a creeping smile beginning to spread on your lips as you tried not to laugh out loud. A couple just barged into Jamieâs room to try to have a fun time without realizing they were occupying the room.
âUh,â Jamie coughed, springing up from his seated position to stand up, silence and awkwardness filling the air of the room as the couple halted their movements and quickly pulled away from each other.
Apologizes began spewing from their lips, blushes evident on both of their skins as they back up and out of the room, leaving the door wide open as they left in a hurry.
The laugh you were keeping in finally escaped your mouth as you doubled over, clutching your stomach as you found the entire situation hilarious.
Jamie only looked at you like a wounded puppy, frowning as he whined about the couple trying to hook up in his room and how gross that was especially since the two of you were currently in the room. But he eventually gave in and joined in on your laughing fit, just happy to have had spent some time with you before the both of you were so rudely interrupted.
( âWhat do you mean some couple barged into his room? Did they think it was empty?â Trevor exclaimed, the tone of it whiny. âDoes that mean they didnât do it?â.
Georgie rolled her eyes at the six foot something man. She shouldnâtâve even agreed to this stupid plan in the first place. Getting you there was a hassle within itself and then to have Trevorâs âspectacularâ idea fall to shit not even an hour and a half into the two of you being there was evidence enough that Trevor Zegras was indeed not a match maker.
âI donât know, Trev! They just came out of his room like two minutes ago. I was watching the door when I saw the couple approach it. I donât think (Y/N) and Jamie were able to do anything. Your plan sucked, dude. Major timeâ.
Trevor only groaned in defeat. The first phase of his plan failed. Big time. And now he had to come up with something else to try to get his roommate and best friend together. And God knows that Trevor Zegras will do anything in his power to make it happen. )
ââââ
You didnât know why you kept doing this to yourself. Kept going on dates with people who just simply didnât care for you or cared for what you had to say and just wanted a quick succession for the week. It truly boggled your mind on how you managed to attract these kinds of people and had you wondering if you did anything to deserve this kind of treatment.
As you walked in the pouring rain from another horrible date, you found yourself walking the familiar path to Trevor and Jamieâs apartment. Something you always found yourself doing after a particularly hard day, or awful date in this case. It was like your legs had a mind of their own as you appeared in front of the wood door, knuckles rapping at the hard surface before you could think twice about it.
A barely audible coming! and shuffling came from the other side of the door, it swinging open once the owner of the voice finally managed to get to the wooden door.
âHey! â Oh. What happened? Why are you soaked?â.
Jamie had stood before you, hair slightly disheveled as he probably was gaming or getting ready for a nap before you had interrupted it with your presence. A frown also made its way onto his lips, the corners of his mouth drooping. He looked legitimately concerned as to why you had shown up at his apartment at seven-thirty at night soaked to the bone with your heels in hand.
You must really look like a mess right now, you whispered to yourself in your head, mentally scolding yourself for disturbing whatever he was doing before you had shown up.
âAre you okay?â He softly asked, ushering you inside the warm apartment with the same amount of gentleness his voice carried. God, that made you want to cry on the spot.
Your wet and cold hand quickly slipped out of his warm calloused ones as you pulled it back, stepping back into the hallway, shaking your head as you went to open your mouth. âItâs not that big of a deal anyway. I donât know why I stopped by. Iâm sorry for disturbing your nightâ.
Your words seemed to have an effect on Jamie as his frown deepened and hand went out to grasp yours back into his own. Eyes filled with concern as he tried to decipher why you would say that.
It mustâve been a big enough deal for her to end up here, Jamie thought to himself as he knew that his and Trevorâs apartment was often a safe place for you. More like the people renting the space weâre the comfort than the home itself.
âPlease,â he pleaded, âCome inside. You donât have to tell me what happened but at least wait until the rain stops to go back homeâ.
When you had looked up, Jamieâs blue eyes held such concern that you wanted to comfort him, ignoring your own hurt to make him feel better. Maybe thatâs why your relationships always ended badly. You put others needs and feelings before your own, but you couldnât bring yourself to care with Jamie.
You simply nodded your head to his request, allowing him to gently drag you into the warmer apartment as he took your discarded heels from your hands and dropped them onto the floor, other hand still in your own.
âI can get some of Trevor clothes for you to wear if youâd like. Heâs out with Mason and the boys tonight, but heâll be back soon,â he whispered as if he was scared youâd crack and crumble to the ground in a thousand pieces if he spoke any louder.
âPlease,â you muttered, now shaking from the rain you endured only minutes prior. Droplets of water still dropped from the soaked end of your dress and hair.
Jamie mumbled a quick okay before urging you to follow him, your soft hand still grasped in his rough one before he gently dropped it to retrieve some clothes for you.
Upon entering the apartment, its warmth settled itself into your skin, causing a shiver to run through your body, dress still dripping from your walk in the rain. Wrapping your arms around your shaking torso, you shook your head at yourself and began to mumble about how stupid it was to go to Trevor and Jamieâs instead of yours. You didnât want him seeing you like this. You felt pathetic enough already and didnât need him judging you for your lackluster of a dating life.
âI couldnât find anything of Trevorâs that was clean, or that didnât look suspiciously dirty. So I hope you donât mind wearing some of mine,â Jamie spoke up, a large sweatshirt and some gray sweatpants in hand. An awkward smile painted his lips as he nervously held out the pieces of clothing for you, heart beating rapidly in his chest as you grabbed the clothes from his grasp.
âThank you,â you shuttered, lips a paler color as your teeth knocked themselves together.
Your eyes avoided Jamieâs as you made your way to the guest bathroom, stripping yourself of your sopping clothes and quickly changing into the dry ones of Jamieâs. Albeit him not being a very tall man, the ends of his sweater sleeves still managed to cover the entirety of your hands and engulf you in a comforting way.
The feeling of wearing Jamieâs clothes was very different from wearing Trevorâs. You never felt warm or giddy wearing Trevorâs stuff. It was always something normal between the two of you that neither of you thought twice about. But with Jamie, it felt different. A good different. Like there was more to it than just wearing his clothes. It comforted you in a way that Trevorâs wasnât able to.
A soft knock came from the other side of the door as you wiped the remnants of your makeup away, âDo you want some hot chocolate? I could make some for you if youâd like. Warm you up a bitâ.
A pang of guilt erupted within your chest, feeling bad for having Jamie do all of this for you when he didnât even know why you had showed up at his front door upset and wet from the rain. He shouldnât have to deal with this. With you.
Your hesitation and lack of an answer allowed Jamie to believe that you werenât in the mood for one. But heâd make you a cup anyway. Just in case.
Minutes had passed before you exited the bathroom, hair thrown up in a towel to dry and body now warm and skin back to its original hue. Jamie was propped up against the counter, elbows on the cool surface as he hurriedly typed away on his phone, thick eyebrows drawn slightly together as he focused on the screen in front of him. You assumed he was texting Trevor and updating him on your presence in their apartment. Another pang of guilt struck.
âIf you need, I can leave. Donât want to be too much trouble,â you spoke up, nervously picking at the nail beds of your fingers from where you stood.
The dark haired man slightly jumped, surprised to have not heard you exit the bathroom. He turned to face you, placing his phone onto the counter as it continued to buzz. âNo,â he spoke, âYou donât need to. I want to help you and it is not any trouble at all. You were in need and I want to be there for youâ.
The words he spoke to you made you want to cry all over again. No oneâs ever made it a point to you that they genuinely wanted to help you. Jamie seemed honest enough in what he said and the concern painted on his face was enough to convince you that this was alright. That it was alright for him to help you and be there for you, even if you didnât believe it yourself.
You gently smiled, âIs the hot chocolate still an offer?â.
âWhen is it not,â he smiled back, reaching for the tucked away microwave in the corner, opening it to reveal a still steaming cup of hot cocoa.
ââââ
âHey! So sorry for not getting here fast enough. Traffic was literally the worst. And Mason! Donât get me started on â Ohâ.
Trevor stopped in his tracks, jaw open in shock as he began to properly process the scene in front of him. The poor boy had to rush from the bar he was at with Mason and the others once he was sober enough to drive back. But the LA traffic had gotten the best of him and caused him to come back home more than an hour later than intended. He was utterly disheveled once he managed to unlock the door of his apartment and squeeze through the opening, apologizing for being late. When Jamie had texted him about you showing up at their door soaked and barefoot and that he probably should come back to the apartment, he nearly choked on the beer that was making its way down his throat. He read and responded to the text at seven-forty-five but had now just gotten back home, which was at nine oâclock.
âLooks like she didnât need much of my comforting after all,â he whispered to himself as his eyes danced from you and Jamieâs intertwined bodies.
Trevor could only assume that Jamie had offered to watch your favorite comfort movie in an attempt to cheer you up, the end credits of Coraline on pause as the screen displayed the director and producer of the movie. Another thing he could most definitely assume was that halfway through the movie, you fell asleep on Jamie, which caused him to try to shift you into a more comfortable position only for you to cling onto him for his warmth, forcing yourself closer to his body heat as he gave up and just settled into the position he was currently in.
The brunet only snorted and shook his head at the two peacefully sleeping. Thereâs absolutely no way he was going to allow either of them to forget this moment. Even when the both of you would deny and deny the fact. Perhaps his plan was working, slowly but surely.
Now, he thought, onto phase two.

a bottle of whiskey, the Boys and Never Have I Ever. what could possibly go wrong?
itâs 10pm at the Boys HQ, the tables and chairs are push out and all are gathered around a bottle of cheap whiskey and everyone is feeling⊠relaxed, as much as they really can despite what is happening around them.
âokay okay what about we play⊠Never Have I Ever?â Annie giggles, earning groans from Hughie and MM. âAnnie, i have not played that shit since high school.â MM complains, earning a laugh from the group. âoh come on M, itâd be fun! everytime someone has done something, we take a drink. itâll be fine, just have a bit of a laughâŠâ you laugh, looking around the circle. your eyes follow around the circle from Frenchie and Kimiko smiling at each other and around to butcher, who is surprisingly quiet.
âokay i will start⊠never have i ever been caught having sex.â Hughie states boldly, grinning over at the sour expressions of those who have been caught before, except for you. â y/n belle you have not?â frenchie questions, capturing the attention of those around you, especially butcher.
it has been something that has been surrounding you for your whole life. sex hadnt been something that has happened to you yet - being in your 20s you saw it as something that was embarrassing despite there being nothing to be ashamed of, but you wanted it and you exactly who you wanted it with.
Butcher. he had consumed so many of your thoughts, youâve caught yourself staring at him so many times in the office- imagining those big strong hands on you, touching every inch of your body, kissing down your neck and chest to your most sensitive areasâŠ
âi-I havenât⊠not yet, but hey letâs got next round!â you laughed nervously, keeping your head down. butchers eyes donât leave your body, the cogs in his mind turning as his thoughts are consumed with you.
a few more questions went around the circle before it was butchers turn. âthis is a stupid game why do i havâta do it?â he groans, a bit tipsy from the drinking. âcmon man donât be a sour puss just fucking ask a question.â Hughie exclaims, earning a giggle from both you and Annie. butcher rolls his eyes and utters ânever have i ever NOT had sexâ grinning as everyone moans âthat is a silly question butcher⊠of course we all have.â frenchie the swigs of whiskey go all around and stops in front of you, but you dont take it.
the room is quiet, all eyes on you and your face goes red with embarrassment. ây/n youâre a vir-â Annie questions and you admit âyep i am, i know- what a shocker!â you say sarcastically and put your head in your hands, not wanting to meet the faces of everyone around you. â oh mon amour, we need to get someone to⊠help you with thatâ Frenchie says, earning a light punch in the shoulder by kimiko.
Butcher says nothing, his eyes boring into you, drinking in the sight of your reddened cheeks. he has always had an attraction to you and found himself turned on at the thought of taking you - imagining you coating his cock with your soaking cunt and becoming undone on him for the first time. his thoughts were interrupted by you standing up saying you had to leave and rushing out of the office.
âcmon Frenchie you embarrassed her! whyâd you say that?â MM questioned, Frenchie replied âmaybe so then butcher can finally make a move on her instead of eye fucking her from across the room.â

CHAOTIC MALE CHILD READER & PLATONIC DOTTORE

You saw dottore who was taking a walk in Sumeru
dottores walk with his hands behind him đđ
You saw his walk and instanly decided hes rich and start following him
What did you do in Sumeru? Yea you're an orphan đŹ. Little shit was on the run because he stole food from a stall.
LMAO you followed him until he was at his Laboratory.
Dottore glanced at you for a second and did a double take because why is there a child and how did that child follow him ?
You're face when dottore asked who you are: ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
The following days you followed dottore and because of that you got the nickname Rat from dottore đ
"Yeah thats Rat btw. He follows me around. Dont ask why"
You didnt talk to him until some months later
"Oi Rat give me that book"
"SURE BLUE RAT (o^âœ^o)"
"(â_â)"
Yea you thought he was called rat because Dottore always calls you that. So you came to the conclussion that Dottore was called Blue rat because of his blue hair
You once broke something expensive on Dottores table and you just straight up pointed at one of Dottores clones and said "It was him, i saw it with my own eyes"
Poor clone couldnt say that it wasnt him because you blackmailed him đ
The clone died
Dottore straight up shows his favoritsm, one time you blew up his laboratory and Dottore just shrugged and blaimed the clones for not looking after you
One time he took you to the Fatui meeting, lets say you took one look at childe and called him a stickđ
Childe looked so offended
When the meeting was over you kicked Childe
BRO FELL DOWN SO HARD
Dottore just laughed and told you to do it everytime you see Childe
You know the video where this one child fell down the floor and just looked at the camera angry? Yea thats you
The day you learned of tazers was the day the fatui learned fear
Every damn day people would get tazerd from you. They thought they would be free if they take them away? Nah, you made you're own.
They hurt more
The fatui began wearing protection and you got the name "demon child of Dottore"đđ
Dottore was so proud, he allowed you to experiment on a person
Dottore loves you a lot even if he doesent say it
His love comes in the form of giving reader weapons and telling you to make him proud
You once got hurt when you were alone and Dottore came SPRINTING to you
Broski tought you were dying because of a Bruise
The day you got hurt was the last day you were alone
You're now always followed by a clone
The clone was programmed to carry anything that you may want
Toys, food, drinks, weapons, dynamite, bandages, and a book called "looking good for dumbasses"
Yes, you throw that book at childe and yes you also throw dynamite at childe
Dottore couldnt be more prouder
He now calls you his child infront of everyone
You don't mind, you call him Rat Dad
Summary: You may be chaotic but dottore will always love you. Even if you blows shit up.

Thanks so much for the request! I had quite a bit of fun writing this prompt.
Few warnings for canon-typical violence, blood, injury and animal death. Yyyyeah it is quite the doozy.
Word Count - 1.9k
Hope you enjoy!

The moon hung low in the starlit sky, its pale light casting ghostly shadows upon a narrow, winding mountain path. You and your party had been travelling all day as you wanted to cover more considerable ground to make up for time lost due to camping. However, the physical toll it was taking on everyone was starting to show as you all moved cautiously through the rugged terrain.Â
Laeâzel was understandably the most resilient of the group, her tough demeanor betrayed only by the beads of sweat that trailed down her knitted eyebrows as she focused on conquering the path ahead. Shadowheart seemed to be driven purely by spite just to keep up with the githyanki; you almost had to fight her a few times just to get her to stop and catch her breath before she keeled over. Â
You were feeling pretty run down yourself, every step felt heavier as time dragged on and your muscles were screaming at you to stop, but if you made it to that rock, to that tree, just over the hill, across the river, only then could you rest.Â
You said that about ten rocks and five rivers ago.Â
âThatâs it!â A familiar voice shouted out from behind you, and you instinctively rolled your eyes. âI canât take this anymore.âÂ
Turning around, you were greeted with the sorry sight of Astarion collapsing onto his knees and huffing for breath, and it seemed as if he wasnât going to get back up anytime soon. Â
âAstarion-âÂ
âDonât you âAstarionâ me with that... little disappointed pout of yours,â the vampire said. âI am literally on my knees begging here, darling. We need to stop for the night.âÂ
âAs sad as your little theatrics are,â Shadowheart walked over to the two of you and smirked down at him before turning to you. âHe does have a point. Weâve been walking all day; I think I lost all feeling in my feet about half an hour ago.â Â
âAnd you say he is the dramatic one?â Laeâzel cut in, sneering down at you from a higher ledge. âLook at you all, complaining like children. This is nothing compared to-âÂ
âYes, yes, you have endured a horrendous array of training throughout your arduous upbringing on the Astral Plane that has transformed you into the fearsome warrior you are today; we get it,â Astarion said sarcastically, earning a snort of laughter from Shadowheart and a scowl from yourself. âBut I for one am not made of pure titanium and would like to rest.âÂ
âFine,â Laeâzel growled. âBut if the ghaik tadpole decides to turn your insides out because of your time wasting, then I shall be all too happy to end your life.âÂ
âItâs a deal, darling.âÂ
With everyone in agreement, you relieved yourself of your heavy backpack and quickly got to work on setting up a makeshift camp. Dinner was a small, cooked rabbit to share, while Astarion waited patiently for you to finish until you let him drink his fill. You didnât miss the concerned glance shared between Shadowheart and Laeâzel but said nothing.Â
As the darkness deepened and the others retired for the evening, you decided you didnât quite want to go to sleep quite yetâ a decision you were probably going to regret come morning. Regardless, the stars were out tonight, and you werenât certain when you might next get to enjoy them during this treacherous journey, if ever.Â
The tadpole behind your eye wriggled slightly, and you were worried it was going to waste your night with a migraine and unwanted whispers, but instead it settled down. You huff a sigh of relief; you were spared, for tonight anyway.Â
Despite the sky above being a sight to behold, your eyes couldnât help but keep wandering down. Astarion was sitting across from you, his eyes creased and lips in a tight line as he concentrated on the ghastly book spread across his lap. The Necromancy of Thay had been his focus of attention for these past few nights, and you were honestly starting to worry a little for him. Sure, it was you who had given it to him in the first place (after he practically begged you for it), but the way he hyper focused on it at times was... concerning, to say the least.Â
You clear your throat, hoping to catch his attention.Â
It doesnât work; you try again.Â
âOh, do shut up...!âÂ
His sharp tone makes you recoil slightly, and the vampire mirrors you, glancing between you and the book with widened eyes.Â
âO-Oh no, I didnât mean you, my dear. Itâs this blasted book,â Astarion says, frowning down at it like a disappointed parent. âI canât make heads or tails of the damn thing.âÂ
âDo you... need some help?â You meekly offer, even though you didnât know the first thing about necromancy; some things were just best left untouched in your opinion.Â
âYouâre a sweetheart,â he breathes out a little chuckle. âBut no.â He allows the book to close with a heavy thump before his eyes trail back up, lingering on you for a moment. âBut I could do with a... little distraction.âÂ
As the fire crackles and pops, your cheeks flare up as Astarion slowly crawls his way around, not stopping until he is only inches away from you. Not quite knowing what to do or where to look, your body goes stiff as he slowly leans in towards you. Â
âWhat do you think, hm?â he purrs, his knuckle softly caressing your cheekbone as he brushes away a stray lock of hair behind your ear. âShall we have a little fun?âÂ
You nod shyly and allow him to draw you in as he cups your face and brushes his lips against yours, only to suddenly stiffen and pull away. A surge of panic jabs up from under your ribs as youâre worried that, somehow, youâve done something to hurt him or put him off.Â
âI-Iâm sorry!â You blurt out. âAre you okay?âÂ
He eases your fretting by smoothing down your arms with an almost amused expression. âNo, itâs not you, never you, I canât stress that enough but thereâs... something-,â he frowns and sniffs the air. Â
Oh Gods, did you stink? You knew it had been a while since you last washed butâŠÂ
No, his attention was away from you as he quickly got to his feet and focused on what appeared to be a large boulder of sorts, about ten feet away from where you lay.Â
Astarionâs eyes widen, and for the first time in a long time, he looks terrified.Â
âShit, heâs found me again. Weâve got to leave, now!âÂ
Suddenly, like vipers striking from the shadows, a group of monster hunters descended upon you, the night erupting into chaos as they sprang into action with ruthless efficiency. Swords and daggers glinted ominously in the dim firelight as you and the others desperately tried to defend yourselves.Â
Fear and confusion gripped the group as you fought back against your assailants, but the element of surprise was with the ambushers. They moved with a deadly grace; their tactics honed through countless skirmishes. The clash of steel and cries of anguish pierced the night air. Â
Desperation fueled your resistance, but they outnumbered you five to one, and that was without including their attack dogs, who had taken to separating you from the rest of the group as their personal prey. You jab your sword at their snapping maws, shout and try to make yourself look big to fend them off or, at the very least, make them think twice about attacking you. Â
However, none of it seems to work as one takes a lunge at you and sinks their jaws into your arm. The jolt of shock quickly wore off to the searing heat of pain as the dog tugged and shook you like a rag doll, the beast spurred on by the snarls and barks of the others before they joined in on the mauling.Â
You tried to scream but it hurt to even breathe, reducing you to mere gasping as your limbs throbbed and your head pounded. You thought you heard screaming, but the chaos of the battle muffled your senses as if you were being held underwater. You fall flat on your back as youâre pinned down to the ground, your eyes fluttering as something hot, wet and slimy drips onto your cheeks. Your eyes are met with a row of fangs; you shut them quickly, unwilling to look your death in the face.Â
In that moment, an anguished cry cuts through the noise, and your eyes snap open.Â
The next few moments are a blurry, bloody mess; primal and violent as you can just make out different voicesâthe hunterâs voicesïżœïżœ crying out in pain along with the sound of wet tearing, of fangs ripping into flesh and blood splattering across the ground. You can only stare ahead, eyes wide with fear and body numb as the heavy weight on your chest is suddenly lifted. Thereâs a pitiful whine and a crunching snap, and the carnage finally stops.Â
After a few moments of unbearable silence, your jumbled thoughts immediately go to your teammates, and you try to push yourself up to go help them. They were probably hurt, or worse, dead. You had to get up. Just... get up!Â
âGet up!âÂ
âGet up goddamn you!âÂ
Your blurred vision slowly cleared as you blinked away your tears, and a familiar, blood-splattered face came into view. Gods but Astarion looked so afraid; his red eyes were wet, and his bottom lip quivered ever so slightly as he gently slid his hands under your broken body to help you sit up.Â
âOh, thank the Gods,â he whispered. âHe... he will not take you away from me. I wonât let him.â He looks over his shoulder and shouts, âCleric, get over here now!âÂ
His lips curled into a snarl as Shadowheart dropped to her knees beside you, as if he was frustrated that she wasnât healing you quick enough. As if to confirm, he snaps at her to hurry up.Â
âShouting at me isnât going to make the process go any quicker, I need to concentrate,â Shadowheart bit back, before her gaze softened upon you as a golden light washed out from her hands and over your body. âJust hold on a little longer, okay?âÂ
âShe is right, you must calm yourself,â Laeâzel softly ordered Astarion as she knelt by your other side. âYou have already taken your rage out on the enemy, do not let it overtake you.âÂ
Astarion said nothing as he focused solely on you, whispering hushed promises and honeyed words that got jumbled through your dazed state, but you appreciated them all the same. You tried to show him this by curling your stiff fingers around his, the coolness of his skin bringing a brief respite to your burning hot hands. He breathes out a sad, broken chuckle and reciprocates your gesture with a soft kiss to your fingers.Â
The moon bore witness to the tragedy, casting its cold, indifferent light upon the scene, but you thought it shone beautifully, all the same.Â

~Trafalgar Law x reader platonic headcanons~
Requested by @banana-cat429, it was my first time doing requests so I'm sorry if it seems a bit offđ
âąyou're part of the strawhats group and when you first saw Law at Sabaody you thought this man was on drugs or smđâïž
âąto be honest, I think at first he didn't like you at ALL. He doesn't like being around loud people (*coff Luffy *coff) but in the end he actually manages to know you better, and he notices how you're actually not annoying, but kind and brave.
âąLaw isn't a very extroverted person, so I think most of the talks are began by you, and he prefers it like that, he prefers to listen than to talk anyway.
âąYou become his bff in a second basically LMAO, in fact, you introduced him as your bff to everyone and he didn't deny that (he gets embarrassed if you point it out though lol.)
âąYou once saw a black cat that didn't like being touched and looked kinda annoyed to everyone, and so you told Law that it reminded you of him, and now you call him "Pouty Catđâïž" everytime
âąHe actually smiles a lot with you, you guys have a lot of ironical jokes that only you two understand (he's the type to say that your jokes are shitty but laughs anyways)
âąhe brings you coffee if he sees you tired (if you don't like coffee; then he just brigs you to eat/drink something else)
âąyou collect seashells together
âąsometimes you take his hat and you draw his tattoos on your hands trying imitate him and he's always arguing about how "he doesn't talk like THAT."
âącall him emo, and he's not gonna talk to you for the rest of the dayđâïž
âąLaw secretly likes cute things; so you bought him a plushie (yes, it's a cat that looks like him) he said he hated it but still keeps it in his room with care
âąI imagine that he sleeps reaaaally late, (or doesn't sleep at all-) so when you enter his room and find him sleeping on his desk, you take a blanket and put it on him
âąif you're ever in danger, of course he saves your dumbass ass (and scolds you on how you're not careful of yourself, but he's actually happy you're okay) "Just don't do that again dumbass"
âąhis favourite nickname is Traffy; but he will never admit it.
âąyou guys have matching socks and of course he says he will never wear them but if he sees you sad about it he'll do it
âąyou kinda remind him of Cora-san, and sometimes he smiles when he sees you rambling about something, and you watch him confused asking why he's smiling and he responds: "It's nothing."

BIRTHDAY GIFT

pairing: classmate!jeonghan x gn!reader
wc: 0.7k words
luaâs note: happy late bday jeonghannie!! i miss you đđ also please dont take yn as a stalker đđ yns just a teenager in love!!!
youâve been watching admiring jeonghan from afar for a few months. you just couldnât help it, hes way too cute, way too handsome, way too kind, way too everything good you could possibly think of.
those thoughts made you take your silly little crush on him to another level by becoming his secret admirer, always leaving a note in his locker and placing a strawberry milk or melon bread (most of the times both) on his table. youâd always watch his reaction, from the beginning it was pure confusion, heâd always look around the class to see if he could find the person who left the food and drink there. but after a few days he got used to, his smile always shining everytime he would go to the classroom and see the same items from every day waiting for him on his table.
last time you wanted it to be different, you wanted to be more special since it was his birthday. you went to school earlier, as usual, to place his birthday gifts on his table, strawberry milk, melon bread, a stuffed bunny, a chocolate box and a letter. as you were fixing the items on the table to look cute and presentable for when he sees it you heard a chuckle followed by a familar voice, âgot youâ
you froze, knowing whose voice it was, jeonghanâs voice. you heard his soft footsteps getting closer to you, until you were able to feel his presence behind you, âso it was you this entire time? my secret admirer?â
you turned around to look at him, feeling extremely ashamed for getting caught. you didnt know what to do or what to say, so you just looked at him. your lack of response made him chuckle and smile at you, âi must say.. im surprised. id never thought it was youâ he looked at the items on the table, âi suppose those are all for me, huh? i appreciate it, looks lovelyâ
with a smile still on his face, he grabbed the letter and left a soft hum, âlets see.. dear jeonghan, i know today is your birthday and, to be hone-â he stopped reading your letter out loud when he felt your hand on his wrist, âare you crazy?! why are you reading it out loud?â
âwhats wrong? im just reading the letter my secret admirer gave me!â he chuckled, âplus, theres no one else here but me and youâ
âcant you just read for yourself? and later, when im out of your sight? this is all too embarrassing and youre making it worse!â
he nodded while folding the letter and putting it inside his pocket, âalright, alright. your wish is my commandâ
you mumbled a thank you before standing there for a few seconds, the awkward silence killing you, âi should probably get going. bye and happy birthdayâ you said before grabbing your backpack and walking away from him.
âwait! are these the only things youre giving to me?â you bit your lip before turning around to face him, âyou wanted something else?â
he took the bunny in his hands and walked closer to you, âi actually thought you would give me one more birthday giftâ you raised your eyebrows, âlike what?â
âyâknow⊠like a dateâ he tilted his head and you could see a smirk forming on his lips, âa date?â
âyup, a date. you can give me a date as your last birthday gift or i can pay you back for all the strawberry milk, melon bread and notes youve ever given me with a date. so you basically dont have other option than go on a date with meâ he smiled and placed the stuffed bunny in your hands, âhere, i want it back by the end of our dateâŠâ he started walking away before continuing, âleave my things like that, ill only go to my locker and ill come back. and you better wait for me after class, cuz we have a date to go toâ he turned to look and wink at you before going back to walk towards his locker.
it was his birthday, but it seemed like you were the one who got a gift. and a really good one.

It's gonna sound silly if you don't have any but if you do, random batfam headcanons (especially steph, cass, duke, tim, damian) GO
Not silly at all, I donât have many but youâll probably see when youâre done reading this that I have more for certain members than others đ
Steph: she has freckles like totally sunkissed freckles that scatter all across her body. I feel like she tans but has more of a rosy tan instead of a deeper color. She loves children, because wellâŠbut anyways I think she would dye her hair and have tinsel in them for a sparkle or a hint of color. Roller derby. I loveee to headcanon that sheâs amazing at it and enjoys the sport. Oh and piercings I love to think that she wears tons of chunky jewelry. Has big curly hair that she didnât know how to take care of when she was younger. Loves hanging out with Barbara and sneaking into Kates place to bother her or ask for advice.
Cass: I know itâs canon but she loves to do ballet. She loves to spar with her siblings especially the younger ones because she likes to share her skills and teach them what she knows in a healthier way than she was taught. Wears Chinese tunics that are gifted from her mother. Wears a mixed of gold and silver jewelry. Goes to therapyâŠcanât cook like at all it astounds her how a simply thing can be hard. Knits đ or does some sort of craft like knitting or pottery.
Tim: uses a silly straw when drinking his energy drinks (he isnât a coffee addict yall) he listens to all sorts of music and has a messed up playlist. He can sit and work on something without moving for hours (couldnât be me) I donât think heâs a party person sorry but I donât know if he does the entire party scene, but he LOVES having friends over and then partying with them. Skate boards to work đ
Duke: he is the most cunning in a way. His favorite color isnt even yellow đ Iâm kidding but that would be funny. The criminals are afraid of him they see him coming in the day??? Oh hell no. He can play the piano and is very good at it. Him and his mother used to teach him. He can cook and he cooks with Damian, he was the one who initiated it. Heâs extremely extremely respectful to woman. He likes watching old western movies when he was little he was a cowboy for Halloween. Has locks and teaches his family (the ones with curls) ways to keep their hair healthy. He collects playing card but like yugioh cards and other stuff like that, he loves sailor moon and old 90s anime.
Damian: he can sing very well đ idk why but if he can mimic voices perfectly I feel like he can sing. When he has an argument with Bruce or anyone in the family he will leave and fly away with Goliath or Wiggles, sometimes even having them âattackâ said family member but itâs only like them flopping on the person. Had a pet tiger in the league (it was Taliaâs) and played with the cubs. Since his hair is getting longer I want to say that Nika or a friend gets him claw clips as a joke but he actually wears them. He can play instruments and likes to do graffiti sometimes. Wears ONLY gold jewelry. He has matching outfits with him and Talia đ if he gets into a relationship heâs not the one breaking up with them because he loves HARD. And like Duke he pulls his hair and when he lets others do it for him itâs like a great achievement đđ
Jason: heâs a loser. I mean it I think heâs so recluse and likes to huddle into the library and read. Heâs big hulking even and loves to use that to his advantage when heâs being annoying to his siblings by lying on them. Struggles to find clothes his size so he wears the ugliest lounge clothes. Loves reality tv or any cheesy movie.
Dick: grows his hair out and every time he does a sudden chop the family looks at him with fear and disgust like how children do when their father shaves their face đ HE CAN COOK I know he can cook. Also wears chunky jewelry but doesnât have a set style. Watches old footage of him and his parents acts and cries everytime. Visits zitka. I like to think he still performs on his down time or at least practice and keeps up the skill of being an acrobatic performer.
I hope that was good! Sorry for the ugly grammar Iâm rapid firing this. đ

â Hey peoples đ thought I should share an Aran Ryan headcanon based on how I structure my drawing lol (its kind of nice to have stuff logged on here so I can go back to it :P)
â Idk if this needs a content warning or anything sorry, but theres a good chunk of talk about medication and mental healthâ
â So for one I feel like he has ADHD, and that's kind of where my whole ramble will stem from
â Back in Ireland, he was actually treated for his ADHD (and only because he was considered a pain so there "must've" been something wrong with him)
â When moved from home (snuck out đ more on that at some point), he pretty much took what he can put into a carry on bag and at the time he had around a years worth of medication
â When he got to New York, he was pretty much as clueless as you can be, just recently turning 18 and also never leaving Ireland prior to that so it was a huge mess
âI feel like with that scramble came the entire medical care being a huge confusion for him as well, not knowing how he would be able to renew his medication or if he even could
â With time he ran out of his initial prescription, and that sharp withdrawl took a heavy toll on him to say the least
â He was incredibly irritable and had sporadic bursts, not good as the clean, firm and fierce SPO Aran he was portraying himself as đ
â It made him have some cutoffs with some of the other boxers who he was honestly pretty close with, like Narcis Prince and Piston Hurricane, thinking his behavior is offputting and not like him
â (This was also around the general time I think he would face up against Masked Muscle and have a literal crashout after getting spit in the eye- insane revelation to him, because if this goober can just straight up cheat why cant he?)
â I still don't think he has bothered asking or researching how to get back on his prescription, partially from feeling like he can manage without it (lie) and just feeling really embarrassed about it
â He let it slip while drinking with Soda at some point, and while Soda is one to always have confidentiality over anything said to him, especially during drinking nights, this felt different and it felt negligent to not point it out to someone who can help so we'll see where it goes from there đđ
â That is my ramble take it or leave it!!!! Heres a doodle for surviving the ramble (He looks different EVERYTIME I draw him this is so cruel)

#punchout#punch out#aran ryan#if some of this sounds blatantly wrong in any way please let me know this post is coming from a neurotypical (at least i think) person#while i can identify with some of the presented issues in the topic i dont have any diagnoses so i dont wanna cause harm in any way!!!

"is it good?" asked winwin
"fuck yeah, probably the best hole i've fucked while being on university" answered jaehyun moaning feeling how y/n is taking all his cock at once, something no one has ever done it before "such a hungry hole you have down here y/n" said jaehyun while squeezing y/n's nipples making him emitt moans that makes winwin's cock vibrate.
"he does have hungry holes" said winwin, i bet he can take us both at once" he wiped y/n's tear "open up" demanded winwin and y/n complied opening his mouth, winwin position the head of his cock on y/n's tongue and spit on top of it. y/n was enjoying how jaehyun cock stretches his tight hole while tasting winwin's mixture of his spit and pre-cum.
"i'm gonna work him down here so he can take us both" said jaehyun who started to thrust deep and hard, that plus winwin and jaehyun playing with one nipple both, makes y/n yelp in pleasure "i want more" the overstimulated y/n said in a begging tone. "shush pretty boy" said winwin "we're gonna give you more" he then kissed y/n in a sloppy way, teeth clashing and drool spilling everywhere.
"i think it is ready, look" jaehyun said to winwin while laying on bed with y/n on top of him, he grabbed y/n's legs spreading them open showing winwin a majestic view, y/n's hole swallowing jaehyun's cock and clenchin like it was asking for more. winwin slapped his cock on y/n's already stuffed hole, "don't worry baby, we would make you feel so good that you would come back asking for more" he said while penetrating y/n inch by inch "fuck yeah" moaned jaehyun "it feels more thight now, but he's taking it so well, like a champ" praised jaehyun while kissing y/n's neck and leaving some hickeys on it "this ass is for us, to use as we please" said jaehyun grabbing y/n's ass leaving his hand print on it "yes sir, this ass is all for you to usee~" he was so overstimulated already that started to say nonsenses just asking for both boys to re-arrange his insides and they both obeyed, thrusting their cocks forming bulges on y/n's tummy everytime one cock goes deep inside, they keep fucking, kissing, marking and breeding y/n to make y/n know that he belongs to jaehyun and winwinâŠ
some hours later y/n's ass was sore, still being drilled by winwin while jaehyun was drinking water taking some rest "i can't take it anymore guys" said y/n tired, "this is the last load baby" said winwin "i know you cab take it⊠take it for me~" moaned winwin cumming deep inside y/n⊠"yeah just like that you're a champ, you milkes ud both so well y/n" he says while kissing the younger. "yeah look" jaehyun said grabbing his balls "this aren't heavy anymore, i think we found an amazing ass to dump our loads dude".
y/n fell asleep on top of winwin who carefully stand up and left y/n on the bed sleeping with his ass up "look at that ass, he certainly knows how to take cock and how to milk it, he made me feel so good" praised jaehyun "i definitely want more of it". "me too" replied winwin "look how cum is still dripping out of him, If we had continued fucking him, we would have made cheese inside of him" jaehyun smacked winwin "dude shut the fuck up, don't be gross" they both laughed and jaehyun went to prepare the bathroom to clean y/n while winwin sucked the cum out of y/n's ass with his mouth "your ass taste so good y/n⊠even better with our cum inside of it".

HIT ME UP || D.F. x reader
âand i'll waste my time if you pursue me, i'll let you know, if you ever hit me up'
summary: dominic fike, the one night stand who won't go away.
and iâll eat up dominic being the biggest yearner everytime!!! i love writing him as someone whoâs just head over heelsđ also can we talk abt how hot he looks in these photos? GOOD LORD. PLEASE JUST ONE NIGHT.
anyways enjoy! requests are open too <3
The bar was loud, packed with people, but somehow you managed to carve out a little oasis at the corner, clutching your drink and scrolling mindlessly through your phone.Â
It was one of those nights you werenât even sure why you were out; you just knew you didnât want to be home.Â
Your friend had bailed on you last minute, but the lure of a Friday night was still enough to get you out the door and into the smoky, neon-lit crowd.
Thatâs when he caught your eye.
Not intentionallyâjust a glint of movement in your peripheral, followed by a cocky grin aimed at anyone and everyone in his path.Â
This guy was tall, broad-shouldered, with dark eyes and that kind of look that screamed trouble.
His confidence was unmistakable, bordering on the absurd, as if he was used to people looking at him, fawning over him. You rolled your eyes at the mere sight.
It wasnât long before he zeroed in on you, and despite the fact that you were clearly uninterested, he strutted over, a grin on his face like heâd already won you over.
âHey,â he said, leaning against the bar beside you. His voice was low, smooth, a little too self-assured for your taste.
âHi,â you replied, barely looking up, hoping your tone would convey your lack of interest.
He didnât miss a beat. âBad night or something?â he asked, his voice low and smooth.
You raised an eyebrow, finally meeting his gaze. âAnd youâre assuming that, why?â
He laughed, a deep, easy sound. âJust a hunch. You donât exactly look thrilled to be here. This a party, if you couldnât tell. Where youâre supposed to be having fun.â
You shrugged, tilting your glass in his direction. âMaybe Iâm just avoiding guys like you.â
He let out another chuckle, clearly enjoying the challenge. âOuch. So, Iâm already a âtype,â huh?â
You gave him a once-over, taking in his relaxed posture, the way his eyes sparkled with barely-hidden mischief.
âYou look like you know your way around this place,â you quipped. âOr at least like you think everyone else here should.â
âGuilty,â he said, unfazed. âBut I have to say, you seem different from everyone else here.â
âOh really? And what makes you think that?â
âWell, for one, youâre talking to me, but you havenât batted an eyelash since I walked up,â he said, flashing a grin. âMost people here usually fawn over me, at least a little bit.â
You smirked, unimpressed. âMaybe I just have high standards.â
His grin widened, intrigued. âGood. I like a challenge.â
You sipped your drink, meeting his gaze over the rim of your glass. âSo, does the mysterious charmer have a name?â
âDominic,â he replied smoothly, extending a hand. âAnd you?â
You paused, weighing whether to indulge him. Something about the sparkle in his eye, the cockiness tempered by an unexpected warmth, had you curious despite yourself.
âNice to meet you, Dominic,â you said, finally shaking his hand, âIâm Y/N.â
âBeautiful,â he replied, holding onto your hand a beat longer than necessary. âSo, tell me, Y/N. What brings you out tonight?â
You shrugged. âI guess I felt like a drink. Or an excuse not to be home.â
His eyebrows lifted slightly, interest glinting in his eyes. âMysterious and straightforward. I like it.â
You rolled your eyes, amused despite yourself. âI get the feeling you say that to everyone, Dominic.â
âMaybe,â he conceded, leaning in with a sly smile, âbut I mean it more this time.â
You couldnât help but laugh. âYouâre a real piece of work, arenât you?â
âMaybe,â he said, mimicking your shrug, a playful gleam in his eye. âBut Iâd argue Iâm a good time⊠Care to find out?â
Against your better judgmentâand perhaps the unexpected thrill of being genuinely intriguedâyou left the bar with him, his arm around your shoulders as he steered you out into the cool night air.Â
You walked through the streets, your voices carrying in the quiet night, the conversation flowing easily. You found yourself laughing at his witty quips, surprised by how disarmingly charming he could be without even trying.
âAre you always this confident?â you asked as you strolled along, barely aware of where you were going.
Dominic chuckled, flashing you a sideways grin. âI donât know. Are you always this skeptical?â
âTouchĂ©,â you replied, nudging him with your elbow. âBut yeah. Actually, I am.â
âFair enough. I like a girl who keeps me on my toes.â He paused, glancing over at you with a sly smile. âBut donât worry. Iâm not one to back down from a challenge.â
Maybe it was the way he looked at you, as if he were genuinely intrigued by the fact that you hadnât fallen at his feet like everyone else.
The night spiraled from there.
You didnât know exactly what happenedâthere were blurry memories of shared laughs, whispered secrets, a lot of eye contact, and even more drinks.Â
The next thing you knew, you were back at your place, barely registering how late it was.
As you stepped into the elevator to head up to your place, a tension settled between you both, charged and unspoken. You could feel his eyes on you, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips, as if he was daring you to break the silence.
The moment the elevator doors opened on your floor, you felt his hand graze yours, sending a flicker of warmth up your arm. The two of you walked side by side down the dimly lit hallway, each step closer to what you couldnât deny you both wanted.Â
When you finally reached your door, you fumbled with your keys, suddenly hyper-aware of every second that ticked by.
âNeed some help there?â he asked, his voice a low murmur behind you.
You shot him a sideways glance. âOnly if youâre as good with all these locks as you are with lines.â
He let out a soft chuckle, stepping close enough that you could feel the warmth of him, the intoxicating scent of his cologne filling the space around you.Â
With a deep breath, you finally managed to get the door open, stepping inside with Dominic following, his hand brushing yours as he closed the door behind him.
âNice place,â he remarked, glancing around, but his eyes quickly settled back on you. âThough I have to say, I was mostly interested in the company.â
You rolled your eyes, though a grin betrayed you. âIf I wanted flattery, Iâd have stayed at the bar.â
âGood thing you didnât,â he replied, stepping closer, his gaze now locked on yours.Â
There was a pause, the air between you thick with something you couldnât ignore. And then, as if by some silent agreement, he reached out, his fingers brushing the side of your face, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
You felt a shiver run down your spine, but you held his gaze, refusing to let him see you flinch. He seemed to appreciate it, his smile turning softer, almost reverent. And then, slowly, he leaned in, his lips barely grazing yours, teasing, as if waiting for you to close the gap.
You did.
The kiss started soft, but quickly deepened, his hands finding your waist, pulling you against him. You could feel the strength in his arms, the urgency in the way his fingers pressed into your back, as if he couldnât get close enough.Â
His mouth was warm and inviting, tasting faintly of whiskey and something inherently him.
Each touch, each kiss, felt like it was stripping away the layers you kept up, the armor you wore around people like him.
Without breaking the kiss, you backed toward the couch, your fingers tugging at his jacket, sliding it off his shoulders. He let it fall to the floor without a second thought, his focus completely on you as he guided you down onto the cushions, settling beside you with a grin that was half amusement, half something darker, more intense.
âComfortable?â he murmured against your lips, his hands wandering over your sides, his fingers slipping under the hem of your shirt.
âDepends,â you shot back, your voice barely a whisper. âAre you going to keep talking?â
He let out a laugh, low and husky, his breath warm against your skin. âFair enough. Iâll let my actions speak louder, then.â
With that, his hands moved with a practiced ease, gliding over your skin, finding ways to make you gasp and forget any lingering doubts you had. For once, it was easy to be completely in the moment, to let yourself get lost in the way he seemed to know exactly where to touch, where to kiss, it was like he knew your body before even seeing it.
You felt your heart pounding as his hands traced along your skin, each touch lighting a fire that was hard to ignore.
As you lay back, you felt the warmth of his body against yours, his weight grounding you in a way that felt unexpectedly intimate, like he was somehow peeling away your defenses, bit by bit, with each kiss, each brush of his fingertips.Â
His lips traveled from your mouth to your jaw, down to your collarbone, lingering in ways that left you breathless. There was something different about the way he moved, a gentleness mixed with unspoken intensity, like he was savoring every moment, every inch of skin he touched.
âYouâre good at this,â you whispered, unable to stop yourself, though you half-expected him to respond with another cocky remark.
Instead, he looked up at you, eyes filled with a warmth you hadnât expected.
He stayed silent. He only gave you a soft smile, his lips tracing your jaw as he spoke, his words melting into your skin.
The night unfolded in ways that left you surprised and, admittedly, a bit vulnerable.Â
His hands and mouth moved in sync, guiding you both through a rhythm that felt almost surreal. And, between the breaths and stolen glances, there was a tendernessâa softnessâthat you hadnât anticipated. It felt more like slow unraveling than a quick spark; each moment, each touch, felt deliberate, as though he was trying to memorize you in some quiet way.
At some point, youâd shifted, trading the couch for your bed, the journey between blurring in a haze of laughter and kisses that grew more urgent, more intense, with each passing moment. His words were soft, with a hint of challenge, and in that moment.
Eventually, after what felt like both hours and seconds, you lay side by side, his arm draped around your shoulders, your head resting on his chest.
The two of you were quiet, your breathing still a little heavy, but your hearts were slowing to a steady rhythm. You found yourself tracing gentle lines along his arm, your mind still reeling from the nightâs unexpected intimacy. You couldnât quite remember the last time someone had left you feeling so alive, so out of control yet comfortable.
Finally, as you lay tangled together, the early morning light beginning to creep in through the window, you found yourself smiling despite yourself.Â
He was lying beside you, his arm draped over your waist, his eyes half-closed but alert, watching you with that same mischievous glint.
âYou know,â he murmured, his voice still heavy with sleep, âI have to say, you were worth the chase.â
You laughed, rolling your eyes as you stretched out beside him. âYou make it sound like I was a conquest.â
He shrugged, giving you a lazy grin. âOnly because you put up a good fight.â
âHmm,â you replied, stifling a smile. âDonât get too comfortable. Iâm not exactly looking for a repeat performance.â
He smirked, his fingers tracing idle circles on your shoulder. âWho said anything about repeats? Besides, I have a feeling youâll change your mind.â
You let out a scoff, but his confidenceâhowever misplacedâwas weirdly endearing. âI wouldnât count on it.â
âGuess weâll see,â he said with a wink, leaning over to give you one last kiss before slipping out of bed.
And sure, it was goodâhe was cocky for a reason, apparentlyâbut as soon as the sun started peeking through your blinds, you felt the sting of regret and a slight headache creeping in.Â
â
The next morning hit you like a freight train. You rolled over, remembering that he left before you even fell asleep. Perfect. You sat up, rubbing your eyes, thinking how that was probably the last youâd see of Dominic.
That is, until you looked over at your nightstand.
âOf fucking course,â you mumbled to yourself, staring at his wallet.
It was lying on your nightstand, his name in embossed letters on the black leather, practically taunting you. You sighed. Of course, heâd be the kind of guy to leave something behind.Â
Heâd left a piece of himself behind, almost as if heâd known youâd wantâor needâa reason to call him again.
Gritting your teeth, you picked up the wallet, rifling through the cards inside. There was an obnoxious number of credit cards, a couple of VIP passes to places youâd never heard of, and an California licenses with an all-too-familiar face staring back at you.Â
Dominic Fike.Â
You do a little more deep diving into the man who was in your bed all nightâ Seriously? you thought, staring at his face on the card. This guy is famous?Â
His face, his music, his relationships, personal dramaâall of it filled pages and pages of search results. Tabs upon tabs of articles, concert photos, and screaming fans filled your screen, confirming what youâd already suspected.
You had a one night stand with a literal celebrityâand had no idea.
Annoyed and a little embarrassed, you tapped on the number heâd saved in your phone the night before, dialing him with a deep sigh.
He picked up on the second ring, his voice smooth and somehow infuriatingly amused. âYou just couldnât resist, could you?â
âNot exactly,â you said, already irritated. âYou left your wallet.â
He chuckled. âDid I now? Look at that. What a coincidence!â
You narrowed your eyes, though he couldnât see it. âYes. Would you like it back, or should I just keep it as a very expensive souvenir? Something to remember you by?â
âAlright, alright,â he said, still laughing. âIâll swing by in like, twenty. Wouldnât want you holding it hostage or anything.â
You barely had time to regret your decision before he arrived, grinning like heâd won some kind of prize as you opened the door.
âWell, well,â he said, looking at you up and down, clearly amused by your less-than-enthused expression. âI knew youâd call.â
You held his wallet out at armâs length, not letting him get too close. âHere.â
But Dominic, of course, was not the kind of guy to make anything easy.
He took the wallet, but instead of leaving, he walked right into your apartment, looking around like he was touring a museum.
âYou have a cute place,â he remarked, sinking down onto your couch without waiting for an invitation.
âThanks. Maybe, Iâll see you around,â you replied, crossing your arms, nodding towards the door.
âOh, come on,â he said, flashing that aggravatingly charming smile. âIs that any way to treat a guest?â
âGuest? Youâre barely an acquaintance,â you scoffed, leaning against the wall with a look of utter disbelief. âYou couldâve told me you were like, famous, by the way,â you said, still crossing your arms.
He shrugged, leaning back as he flashed a smirk. âAnd miss out on the chance to see your genuine reaction? No way.â
You rolled your eyes. âIs everything a game to you?â
âOnly the fun things,â he replied, watching you with a spark of amusement. âCome on, admit it. Youâre glad you didnât know.â
You exhaled, fighting a smile. âMaybe a little.â
âYou definitely wouldâve have invited me over if you knew. You definitely wouldnât have been screaming my nameââ
âDominic!â You exclaim, not wanting to recall any of last night.
âGeez, Y/N! There you go again,â Dominic laughs, âShould we just hit the bed now or something?â
You groan loudly, not even connecting your response before speaking, âNo⊠No!â You say, âThatâs not what I meant. Be serious. Can you last longer than a minute? Or is that impossible?â
âOh, you know I can last longer than a minute.â
You plop down on the couch, giving up when you realized that you were practically writing his remarks yourself.
But, Dominicâs gaze softened, as if he saw through the veneer of irritation you were putting up. âWell, in all seriousness, most people donât look at me like you did last night.â
âDisappointed?â you teased, raising an eyebrow.
âNo,â he replied, a bit more serious this time. âLike I was just some guy at the bar.â He smiled, something genuine glinting through the playful mask. âIt was nice.â
There was a beat of silence, an unspoken understanding that lingered in the air. But then, with a smirk, he broke the moment. âBesides, I wasnât ready for our little game to end.â
âOh, and what game is that?â you asked, fighting the slight flutter in your chest.
He grinned, standing up as he approached you. âYou, trying to resist me. And me, making sure you fail.â
Something shifted in his expressionâmaybe it was the challenge, maybe it was just your indifference. But whatever it was, he clearly wasnât planning on leaving anytime soon.
âI wonât fail,â You say, probably in the most confident tone heâs heard you, âI know how to protect my peace.â
The next hour passed in a bizarre back-and-forth as he casually overstayed his welcome, making himself at home while you threw every jab and sarcastic remark you could think of his way.Â
You half-expected him to get fed up and leave, but instead, he only seemed more amused.
Every time you shot him down, he came back with a quip, grinning as if he were winning some game only he understood.
It was infuriating. But it was also⊠a little fun.Â
Against all reason, you found yourself laughing at his jokes, even as you rolled your eyes at his bravado. There was something oddly compelling about his relentless charm, even though he was the exact type of person you couldnât stand.
By the time he finally left, you were exhaustedâannoyed, sure, but also strangely energized, like youâd just run a marathon you hadnât expected to enjoy.
As you watched him go, you couldnât help but wonder if maybeâjust maybeâyou hadnât seen the last of him. And part of you, despite everything, didnât entirely mind that idea.
â
The day after Dominicâs unexpected reappearance, things settled back into their normal, peaceful state. You returned to your regular life, or at least tried to, even though your mind kept drifting back to the chaotic encounter that morning.Â
It was supposed to have ended after one night, but there he was, strolling back into your life as if he had never left.
A few days passed without incident, and you almost convinced yourself it was overâuntil you spotted him again, completely by chance.Â
You were waiting for a coffee at the counter of your favorite café, scrolling through your phone, when you heard a familiar voice behind you.
âLet me guessâno idea who I am?â
You turned, and there he was, looking as smug as ever, hands stuffed in his jacket pockets. He looked both out of place and totally in his element among the crowd of early-morning patrons.Â
âHey, stranger,â Dominic says with a cheeky smile.
You raised an eyebrow, half amused, half exasperated. âAre you stalking me, or do you actually have a purpose here?â
He grinned, shrugging. âCoincidence, I mean, youâre at a very popular spot, you know. Or fate, if youâre into that sort of thing.â
âYou wish,â you muttered under your breath, though you couldnât keep the small smile off your face. You gestured at the counter. âCoffee first. Then you can do your charm routine.â
He chuckled, sliding in beside you as you placed your order.Â
There was a comfortable silence as you waited, but it was laced with an electric energy that made you all too aware of him standing there, close enough that you could feel the warmth radiating off him.
As you turned to pay, you noticed him handing over a bill, waving you off. âMy treat,â he said, his tone casual.
You rolled your eyes. âIâm capable of buying my own coffee.â
âCome on,â he said, leaning in with that infuriating grin. âConsider it my way of saying thanks for not selling my wallet on eBay.â
âVery funny,â you replied, trying to ignore the warmth creeping up your neck as he continued to look at you with that playful spark in his eye.Â
You both took your coffees and walked toward a table in the corner, where he slid into a seat across from you, leaning back in a way that was far too comfortable.
You took a sip, studying him over the rim of your cup. âSo, why are you here? Couldnât resist a second dose of my sparkling personality?â
âNot exactly,â he replied smoothly, a little too quickly. He paused, his eyes catching yours with a hint of something serious beneath his usual carefree demeanor. âActually... I was curious.â
âCurious about what?â
âAbout you,â he said, and for the first time, there was a flicker of sincerity in his gaze, as though he was trying to get past your defenses. âI meet a lot of people. But itâs refreshing to find someone who looks at me like... well, like Iâm just some guy they met at a bar.â
You leaned back, raising an eyebrow. âHate to break it to you, but you are just some guy I met at a bar.â
He laughed, shaking his head. âYou know, thatâs what Iâm talking about. Most people that see me in a bar, wouldnât say that.â
You took another sip of coffee, letting the silence settle, wondering where this was going. Finally, you set your cup down, crossing your arms. âSo, what exactly do you want from me, Dominic?â
He hesitated, his eyes flickering with something you couldnât quite place. âHonestly? I donât know. Maybe... I just wanted to get to know you.â
You studied him, searching for any trace of a joke or a punchline, but his expression remained open, almost vulnerable.
Against your better judgment, you felt yourself softening, intrigued despite yourself. You leaned forward, resting your chin on your hand. âFine. What do you want to know?â
He grinned, looking relieved and a bit triumphant. âAlright, letâs start simple. What do you do?â
You rolled your eyes, smirking. âOh, I thought you were a fan of the âmysterious strangerâ vibe.â
âConsider it character development,â he said with a wink, but you could tell he was genuinely curious.
âIâm in marketing,â you said finally, âfor a non-profit.â
His eyes lit up, and he leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand in a playful imitation of your posture. âWow. Look at you, making the world a better place. And here I thought you were just another mysterious stranger.â
You couldnât help but laugh at his playful tone. âYeah, well, not everyone spends their days living like a rockstar.â
âAh, so you do know who I am.â He pointed a finger at you in mock accusation, but his grin was warm.
âBarely,â you replied, holding his gaze. âNot a fan, if Iâm honest. Itâs just not my type of music.â
That seemed to amuse him even more, and he laughed, shaking his head. âOuch. Wounded.â
âHey, just keeping it real.â You took another sip of your coffee, realizing that, despite yourself, you were starting to enjoy this.
âSo⊠whatâs your favorite type of music?â Dominic asks, as you chuckle, âWhat, you wanna write a song about me or something?â
âWho says I havenât already?âÂ
You could feel the heat creep towards your cheeks, and you bet that he saw it, too, âMy music taste is kind of all over the place. Iâm really into rock music, like 90s rock. Blink-182. Red Hot Chili Peppers.â
You see Dominicâs face light up with a joy you havenât quite seen from him before, âYou do know like, all of my music is inspired by that, right? Those are some of my favorite bands.â
You shake your head, âYouâre just saying that.â
He holds up his left hand, and you realize itâs John Frusciante; The guitarest of said band. Of course, is it.. âAm I, now?â
You stared at his hand, taking in the tattoo of Fruscianteâs face, a bit faded from time, yet still unremarkably impressive. Your jaw dropped. âOkay, maybe⊠I believe you now.âÂ
Dominic grinned, pleased with himself. âTold you.â He leaned back in his chair, hands behind his head.
You shook your head, amused and slightly exasperated. âSo, you're telling me that your whole âcool guy who doesnât careâ vibe is just you trying to live out your childhood rockstar fantasy?â
His eyes sparkled with mischief. âMaybe. What can I say? I like to lean into it.â He paused, watching you closely, his smile softening a little. âBut you know, itâs not just for show. Iâm not playing a part for anyone. Itâs who I am.â
You narrowed your eyes, intrigued despite yourself. There was a moment of quiet between you two, but it wasnât awkward.
It was the kind of silence that existed between two people who were really starting to connect.
"Okay, then," you said, leaning forward with a raised eyebrow. "If youâre so real, then how about you prove it?"
His eyes glinted. "Prove it how?"
You shrugged, sipping your coffee. "Letâs see if you can keep up with me outside the ârockstarâ image. Ditch the cocky lines for a minute. Show me the real you.â
Dominic didnât hesitate. He leaned in closer, his voice low. âYou wanna see the real me, huh? Alright. Iâll play along."
You had to fight to keep from grinning, but something in the air shifted.Â
The banter was still there, but it felt less like a game now and more like two people actually trying to understand each other.
âIâm not here for a show,â you said, your tone steady. âJust, you know⊠a genuine conversation. No flash, no pretense.â
Dominic watched you carefully, his gaze softer now, but there was still a glimmer of that cocky charm.
âI think I can do that. But fair warning,â he said with a grin, âIâm not sure how good I am at keeping the âreal meâ in check for too long.â
You smirked, eyes narrowing slightly. âOh, Iâm sure youâll figure it out.â
The two of you continued to talk, the conversation slipping into more personal territory as you discovered more about each other.Â
Dominic opened up in ways you hadnât expected, sharing bits and pieces about his life, his rise to fame, his time in jail, the constant pressure, and the sacrifices.Â
And as much as you were tempted to tease him, you found yourself listeningâreally listening.
He, on the other hand, seemed fascinated by you in a way that made you almost uncomfortable. The way heâd pause, studying your expressions, as though trying to figure you out, kept you on your toes.
âSo you really donât care about all the âfameâ stuff?â You asked after a long stretch of conversation.
âNot really,â He replied. âI think itâs just... a distraction. People focus so much on what you do, not who you are.â He shrugged. âItâs easy to get lost in that. I, obviously, get lost in it sometimes.â
âYeah, trust me, I can tell⊠But, I also get that. I really couldnât imagine having fans, or followers, or any of that bullshit,â You say, watching him run a hand through his hair, staring down into his coffee.Â
âItâs kind of like, Iâm good at being who people expect me to be. But sometimes... I forget what itâs like to just be me, you know?â
You nodded, sensing the vulnerability in his words despite his usual bravado. âI get it,â you said softly, âYou wanna be normal guy sometimes.â
Dominic looked up at you then, and for a moment, it wasnât the cocky, charming rockstar sitting across from you.Â
It was just Dominic.Â
The man with flaws, with dreams, with struggles. The man who, despite everything, was still trying to figure it out.
âAnd what about you?â he asked, voice quieter now. âWhatâs your real âyouâ like?â
You hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. You had a tendency to keep your guard up, to keep people at armâs length. But for some reason, something about Dominic made you feel like it was okay to let that wall slipâjust a little.
âMe?â You sighed, rubbing your temples. âIâm just trying to make a difference. To not get too lost in all the noise. I want to do something that actually matters.â
Dominic watched you with quiet intensity, as if he could see through the surface-level responses, reading between the lines. âAnd you think you can do that?â he asked, his voice serious now.
You nodded, though you werenât entirely sure yourself. âI donât know. But I have to at least try.â
He sat back, taking that in. His eyes softened again, and for a fleeting moment, he looked like a man who wasnât concerned with the worldâs expectations or how many fans were waiting for him outside.Â
It was just him and you.Â
And in that moment, you could tell he wasnât in a hurry to leave.
The tension between you shifted, growing more comfortable, more familiar. There was still a playful spark in his eyes, but now, there was also a sincerity that wasnât there before.
âIâll be honest,â he said, leaning in just slightly. âYouâre unlike anyone Iâve ever met.â
You raised an eyebrow. âThatâs a line Iâm sure you use on a lot of people.â
He shook his head, the smile never leaving his face. âNo, really. Youâre different. And Iâm not talking about your, uh, lack of âfan-girlingâ over me.â
You couldnât help but laugh. âI wasnât that bad.â
âJust a little,â he teased. âBut itâs cool. It makes you way more interesting.â
âGlad to know Iâm not just another fan to you.â
Dominic leaned back, his expression turning thoughtful. âYeah. Youâre not. Youâre someone Iâm actually starting to care about. And for the record...â he added with a grin, âI think Iâm getting pretty good at this âreal meâ thing.â
âBetter keep it up,â you teased, trying to hide the soft flutter in your chest. âBecause Iâm not letting you off the hook that easily.â
He leaned in a little closer, voice barely above a whisper. âI wouldnât want it any other way.â
And there it was againâthe chemistry.Â
The spark that had been there from the start, now igniting with a slow burn. You didnât know where it was going, but you knew this conversation, this connectionâit wasnât something you could ignore. Not anymore.
As you finished your coffee, you both lingered, the air thick with unspoken possibilities. Neither of you seemed in a rush to break the moment.Â
Maybe this was the start of something unexpected. Something that neither of you had plannedâbut both of you might just need.
You spent another hour talking, exchanging stories and teasing banter.Â
He was funny, charming, and surprisingly down-to-earth when he wanted to be.Â
For someone so confident, he had a certain openness that was hard to ignore, and despite your initial annoyance, you found yourself drawn to him.Â
By the time you left, you almost didnât mind when he suggested meeting up again.
âAlright,â he said as he walked you to the door. âHow about a deal? You let me take you out again, and I promise Iâll try my best to keep my rockstar tendencies in check.â
You smirked, crossing your arms. âWhy do I feel like thatâs a promise you canât keep?â
He grinned, his eyes twinkling. âGuess youâll just have to find out.â
And before you could think of a clever comeback, he leaned down, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your cheek. The warmth of his lips made your heart skip a beat, and as he pulled away, he looked at you with a quiet intensity that made it hard to breathe.
âSee you soon, then?â he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
You nodded, unable to find the words, and as he walked away, you realized that, despite everything, a part of you was already looking forward to it.
â
The days that followed Dominicâs confession were full of anticipation, but also of hesitation. You couldnât shake the feeling that you were standing on the edge of something, something you couldnât quite define.
Every time you saw him, every time he looked at you like he was seeing the real you, you felt your resolve weakening.
It was confusingâafter all, youâd spent so long keeping people at a distance, convincing yourself that you didnât need anyone, that you were fine on your own.
But Dominic⊠he had a way of breaking through that wall, bit by bit, in a way that scared you and exhilarated you at the same time.
You spent the next few days trying to focus on your routine, but it felt impossible. Every small thing, like the sound of your phone buzzing or catching a glimpse of a song you both liked, reminded you of him.
But you werenât sure if you were ready to dive into whatever this was between you. It was so new, so unexpected, and you didnât want to risk getting hurt.
But then, just as you were trying to push those thoughts away, the text came.
"Hey, whatâs up? Want to grab some dinner tonight?"
It was casual, like everything between you had always been. But beneath the surface, you could feel the weight of what had been said the night before. You hesitated for only a second before responding.
"Sure. What did you have in mind?"
A few minutes later, he sent a suggestion, and you agreed.
There was something about the way he made everything feel easyâlike there was no pressure, no expectations, just the two of you figuring it out together.
When you met him at the restaurant that evening, it was almost like nothing had changed.
You greeted each other with that familiar teasing banter, a lightheartedness that had become the foundation of your interactions. But this time, there was a quiet undertone to the conversation, something deeper.
It felt like you were both waiting for the right moment to say something more, something real.
As the meal wore on, you found yourself opening up to him in ways you hadnât expected.
Talking about your dreams, your fears, your pastâthings you usually kept buried beneath the surface.
And Dominic, as always, listened.
But this time, he didnât just nod along or offer some flippant remark. He responded with sincerity, sharing his own struggles and insecurities, the parts of himself that were rarely seen by the public.
For the first time, you began to understand the weight of his lifeâthe constant scrutiny, the expectations, the pressure to always be someone he wasnât. And you could see the toll it had taken on him, the way he tried to push it all away with jokes and arrogance, but there was a tenderness beneath the bravado.
A part of him that was tired of playing the part.
After dinner, as you walked out of the restaurant, Dominic turned to you, his expression thoughtful.
âDo you ever wonder if weâre just two people who are too afraid to let ourselves get close?â he asked, his voice quiet but serious.
You stopped walking, looking at him. His words hit you in a way you hadnât expected. You knew youâd been keeping your distance, but you hadnât realized how much he had been holding back too.
âI donât know,â you said after a pause. âI think weâre both scared of what could happen if we let ourselves feel too much.â
He nodded, his gaze never leaving yours. âYeah. I get that. But maybe⊠maybe weâre both ready to stop pretending, even if we donât have it all figured out yet.â
You swallowed, feeling the weight of his words sink in. Could you really let yourself be vulnerable like this? Could you trust him enough to let your guard down?
Before you could respond, he took a step closer, his hand brushing against yours. It was a simple gesture, but it felt like a promise. Like he was saying, Iâm here, and Iâm not going anywhere.
For a moment, everything else faded away.
The noise of the world, the uncertainty, the fears you had about being hurtâit all melted into the background. You didnât need to have all the answers. All you needed was to be in this moment with him.
You finally spoke, your voice soft but steady. âI think⊠I think Iâm ready. But you have to promise me something.â
Dominic raised an eyebrow, intrigued. âWhatâs that?â
âThat you wonât disappear on me. That you wonât make this about your fame or your image. I need to know that the real you is what Iâm getting.â
His expression softened, and for the first time, you saw the full depth of his sincerity. âI promise,â he said, his voice firm but gentle. âThe real me, thatâs what Iâm offering. No pretenses. No games.â
The promise hung in the air between you, and in that moment, you believed him. You didnât know where this would lead, but you knew you couldnât keep running from it. The connection you shared was too strong to ignore, too real to pretend it wasnât happening.
The next few weeks passed in a blur of laughter, late-night conversations, and moments of intimacy that felt genuine and raw.
There were still moments of uncertainty, moments where you questioned whether you were making the right choice, but every time Dominic showed up, every time he made you feel seen and heard, you couldnât help but believe in it a little more.
You still held onto your independence, still made sure to focus on your work and your own dreams, but something in you had shifted. You were allowing yourself to let him in, to trust him in a way you hadnât thought possible.
One evening, as you were walking together through the city streets after another spontaneous dinner, Dominic stopped in front of you, his face serious. You turned to him, your heart racing.
âI know weâve been taking this slow,â he began, his voice quiet, but full of conviction. âBut I need you to know that Iâm all in. Iâm not going anywhere.â
Your heart skipped a beat. You had always feared that this would be a fleeting moment in timeâsomething that would fizzle out as quickly as it had ignited.
But Dominicâs words, the sincerity in his eyes, made you believe that this was something worth holding onto.
âIâm in too,â you said, the words coming easier than you had expected. âI donât know where this is going, but I want to see it through.â
Dominic smiled, and for the first time, there was no uncertainty in his expression. No bravado. Just a man, standing before you, with his heart on his sleeve.
âThen letâs see where this takes us,â he said, his voice low and full of promise.
And with that, the uncertainty between you began to fade. The connection you had was real, and though the road ahead might be unpredictable, you knew that, together, you could face whatever came next.
