Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes, I do. I am always thrilled when someone has taken the time to read my words and tell me their thoughts. The least that I can do is thank them. (Also, it fuels the muse a bit. Sometimes, fic writing feels a bit...lonely? You are so excited about this idea or these characters, but people in your immediate vicinity or in your life are less excited about it, and you wonder if you are the only person affected by them or who cares about the story brewing in your head about them. It is so, so reassuring and delightful to get a comment from someone else impacted by these characters and your words/thoughts about them.

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

Oh, likely the ACOMAF story - Slipping Away

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

All the CS fics? I don't mind putting CS through a bit of Hell, but they always work it out in the end because I cannot hurt them anymore than the writers (and @nachocheese-itsmycheese) already do. (Also, that is an endorsement for nachocheese-itsmycheese. If you need to feel something, go read her fics.)

Do you write crossovers?

I have a crack fic that is a cross-over in a way. It is OUAT meets Hoaring: Buried Alive.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I wrote fics for Twilight and Lord of the Rings in middle school and high school. One of the Twilight fics (on FF.net) got a comment along the lines of you should k**l yourself.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes. And, yes?

Most of the published smut thus far is a fairly sweet and loving. But, I have a few scenes written that are a bit less "vanilla".

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope, but I have a few readers who have other languages. I would love to see one translated.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I've started a couple with people, but never really finished any. I have cowritten many a published engineering/scientific article and report, so I like having more authorial control and voice in my fic writing.

What's your all time favorite ship?

Captain Swan? Yeah, probably Captain Swan...

What's a WIP you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

I know my readers probably think all of my open multi-chapter fics, but it is likely the fic that I have started from Emma and Killian's fairy godmother's POV.

What are your writing strengths?

Oh, I am terrible at talking about my strengths. (You should see the first draft of my Chartership application.)

Maybe... my ability to tell pull you into a story without to much presence. In that, I use few words to tell the story and give the reader the space to dream up finer details.

I am a bit of an experimental author, so I hope that it gives the readers something unique and fun to experience in every story.

What are your writing weaknesses?

I am a slow fic writer. I will plot a story, love the plot, write the story (painfully slowly), and write a completely different plot, which slows my writing even more. I think in both pictures and words - when I write, I see the picture so vividly that I agonise over every word to ensure the feeling and key parts of the picture are translated correctly. Also, I think I tend to do the Steve Moffitt awful thing of building up something nicely and then failing on the delivery. I am working on having as much energy and excitement at the completion of a story as I do at the start to aid in that.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in fics?

I know pieces of other languages and have been known to use them when I felt like they would fit better. I am so interested in languages and cultures other than my own that I love finding ways to draw them into my work.

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

Grey's Anatomy?

What's your favorite fic you've written?

Probably Witchy Woman or A Year Without.

i think we should remind musicians they can absolutely make up little stories for their songs btw. it doesn’t have to be about them at all. you can invent a guy and put him in situations to music. time honoured tradition in fact.

People often assume that a person is primarily religious because they believe their religion is The Most Correct. However, I am a very strict believer in judaism and I love arguing for other religions.

I just got done outlining how exactly polytheism is advantageous over monotheism and it was incredibly fun. I love people and I love g-d and these two things coexist in perfect harmony

I have this one special scenario for them in my head and it's NOT LEAVING

Barty's friends (Ev, Panda, Reg) convince him to go to the club with them. He doesn't really want to but he secretly hopes to find someone to take home, so he agrees. He's wearing all black, tattoos and piercings on full display. He's not really in the party mood yet but then he sees this person. The low-waisted jeans and the tight, black bodysuit show off their slim physique and leave little to the imagination with the cutouts at the hips. And let's just say Barty is DOWN. BAD. They're dancing in the middle of the club, their two friends watching them from the bar. Barty and Sirius both are tipsy, not drunk enough to make bad decisions, intoxicated enough to think with their dicks. So Barty approaches them. They start dancing and their moves are getting more and more sensual. I'm talking Sirius grinding his ass against Barty's crotch, whose hands are gripping their waist or playing with their hair. Not much later, five people are searching for their friends, but they're nowhere to be seen. Barty and Sirius are heavily making out in one of the toilet stalls. Then, Barty finds himself on his knees, sucking Sirius off, while their sharp, black nails tear open his back. He doesn't even remember where his shirt went, but my man isn't complaining in the slightest.

Barty's mission was successful: He definitely didn't go home alone that night.

OKAY!! MAJOR UPDATE TO THE CONFESSIONALS CONCEPT !!

So, after quite a lot of feedback i have decided on a couple things:

1. I will change the name. I think calling it confessionals puts the focus on the wrong thing, and definitely sounds more serious than I meant it to. I’m floating message board at the moment!

2. While i am still okay with people sending asks about serious topics they will NO LONGER be included under this concept. They will NOT be put under whatever tag i decide for this, they will ONLY be put under [ #serious post ]

Mainly, i want to emphasise that the thesis of this project is not to platform discourse, its to interact with anons and allow those who for whatever reason don’t have a space to interact with the community to have some fun with us!

Even when someone has their anons on, even when they say they’re okay with getting anons- i know it’s still a bit scary to actually send them. So i want to send out an explicit invitation for them and create a space that is specifically for them on my blog!
