OK so I was GOING to draw fanart today - I had a fun idea and everything! But health anxiety (and anti-anxiety meds) wore me out so I kinda .... slogged through OCs as a treat to me. I am going to go to the doctor tomorrow so HOPEFULLY it's all okay.

Had a dream last night where I had to get glasses to wear for the rest of my life (as I do not wear glasses currently) and for some reason in the dream couldn't remember what my own glasses looked like despite them sitting on my face, aside from the fact they were green coloured. I kept getting compliments on my glasses from friends and strangers alike, saying how amazing they looked or how great I looked WITH the glasses and how it suits me, etc etc, and then I finally saw my reflection and got to see what the glasses looked like,
and found they were comically small, plastic glasses and did Not fit my face at all, and yet my dream self just looked at this and thought "hell yeah everyone's right I DO look great in these"

who like....decides the trends. like which is popular. like I just heard someone say the reason everyone is obsessed with all white cabinets in the kitchen is because darker wood reminds them of the 80s and 90s but like. in the 90s my parents had a black and white checker board kitchen so I can't see white cabinets as anything other than outdated.
