so guess what they released more interviews and i think given what a writing shitshow totk was and what they have been saying in all these interviews is actually painting a really bad picture; i dont have the time, nor the energy to go over every detail

but they were commenting on people wanting the more linear format back and aonuma himself basically said that he thinks people who feel like that do so only bc of nostalgia and "Why do you want to go back to a type of game where you're more limited or more restricted in the types of things or ways you can play?"

what .. the fuck, more freedom DOESNT automatically mean better??? like ... restriction can be a GOOD thing just as tooo much freedom can be BAD?? like in totk??? are you fukcing shitting me- what the hell are games even for then, has he had an awakening to the fact that he actually just loves sandbox games without realizing it???? im not playing fucking zelda for a sandbox, especially not when its advertised as a somethign else

its pretty clear that they want to keep this format going with everything they say there, ... maybe it really is over huh

also i hate how they kept talking around answering anything about story/lore; they go asked how ganondorf even connects to ganon since theres nothign about it in game, and all they got out was welllll we dont wanna say anything bc its up to the player; about every question you got the answer of "make somethign up yourself" which is just ... its really clear they dont actually care but dont want to say everything is meaningless actually, so they try to be vague about it and with doing that really just confirm they didnt think about it and they dont care- so no lore actually matters, nothing thats been said or established has any meaning bc they will get rid of it the second it crosses paths with their new -more freedom equals better- philosophy, they say its bc they want you to be "free" to think up anything but apparently dont realize that when there are no rules, no consistent lore or anything that it ROBS it, it stops having meaning, its fun to connect dots only when there are rules you need to work with and dots to connect in the first place, when you have an established world with its restrictions it drives you to think more creatively about things- but when there are no rules?? its fucking boring!! thats what it is!!

when you discard all rules i wont care to get invested into anything bc i know it will not be considered again, be done away with without any reason and wont have influence on coming or previous games ... bc there are no rules, anything is possible and everything can be changed any second, so nothing matters

(they also talked about the many viral videos of those very few dedicated people that make godzilla mechs in totk and how happy they are about that- i get that to some extent, but the way they kept talkign about it really just felt like it confirmed my suspicion that that whole mechanic was mainly implemented to let people do that since that gets shared around en masse making it seem like that is why people enjoy it while neither the game nor the narrative are build around it in any way ..)

it just makes all the time i spend thinking, feeling and theorizing about zelda like a true waste of time, bc nothing matters and there are no rules-

i am someone who greatly enjoys working with and around established lore/rules, its fun to me to recontextulize things by being smart or creative with it all without breaking anything or as little as possible of the established things!

if i wanted to do just do anything i want I COULD HAVE ALREADY DONE THAT bc theres nothing actually stopping anyone to just make up what they want! i DONT need canon to lose all rules for that??!!

maybe ill have to make myself believe the franchise ended with botw on a good note ... ono

Thinking about Heavy a lot ngl.. he's a monster on the battlefield and shows no mercy towards his opponents, even enjoying the slaughtering, but at the same time he's also taken on a protective role and wants to keep his family and other innocents safe.

I mean, the contrast of the end of Meet the Heavy...

...and the Engineer story he told in Poker Night.........

(yes I know Poker Night isn't exactly canon, but I did hear that Valve approved of the script, and...well, I think it's interesting so sue me lol)

.........versus the childhood story he shared...

and the way he seems...hurt(?) when he realizes that his sisters can fight for themselves, and thus no longer need him to be their protector...

...it says a lot, I think. He's a fierce, unforgiving fighter...but he isn't heartless. At least, not to those who don't deserve suffering.

And while his character description also makes it clear he is in no mood for BS...

...I mean. When lives are at stake, why WOULD you tolerate folly? The man knows what war is like. ...Well, all the mercs do, I suppose. But Heavy quite literally lived through a revolution. It isn't a laughing matter, or a time to be all buddy-buddy and goof off.

That doesn't mean Heavy doesn't care about his team. Of course he does! We can see that in the comics where he helps fight for his team...and we're all familiar with this scene:

He does care, quite deeply I'd say. He continued fighting alongside them until the end of the Gravel Wars.

And after a life of not knowing peace, he found it. <3

My yellowjackets theory that isn't gonna happen is that Melissa only kissed Shauna to save her own skin. Like she sees Shauna for what she is: an unstable powerhouse, a force to be reckoned with. To survive this mess, Melissa needs someone to see her as valuable. Not just someone to be sacrificed. Nature chosen or not.

So she sees the conflicting sides and hedged her bets with Shauna. Plus, if someone had a knife to my neck, I'd do whatever to survive too.

And I think this will be her downfall. We know what happens to those who turned against Shawna eg Jackie. Maybe she's let it slip she's scared of Shauna or that's she not that into her or using her, and Shauna will do whatever to get rid of her.

3274 - Elrond kicks Sauron out of Numenor and outlaws the morgoth cult.

3310 - Morgoth cult publicly reappears.

3319 - Downfall of Numenor. Tar-Miriel leads a greater force of the Faithful away.

The main details I'm figuring out right now are

does Celebrimbor still die at Eregion - I don't think he's getting captured/tortured, but he could still die in the battle. On the other hand, he could probably survive by using Narya & Lomion using Nenya, but that would definitely have repercussions further down the line

how does Idril's deal work - I'm currently thinking of Idril exchanging the location of Gondolin for her family's guaranteed safety, because it seems in character for Reverse Idril? But on the other hand, even if I limit it to immediate family at the time of the oath (tuor, turgon, earendil) then idk where turgon dies? Maybe Maglor can kill him but that seems kind of random

how does Prince Elrond's character even work

how does Numenor still fall when factoring in Prince Elrond - I'm thinking that the morgoth death cult gained enough traction during the time sauron was there that even after Elrond kicks him out, the cult still sticks around and reemerges later? The Fall still happens, but they never go to attack valinor and there's a good deal more Faithful (maybe 40-60%?)

I liked that Zelda was re-humanified at the end of totk! I don't think it was cheap, I think it makes sense that the zonai were wrong that she would be stuck forever (since thinking they know everything and being proven wrong is kind of their thing). And I think her thinking she was giving up any chance of existing as a little elf and seeing her future friends again is plenty of sacrifice.

I was gonna say the Ultimate Forever Sacrifice wouldn't be wrong, just way different, but actually I think it would suck. There's no scaffolding in the rest of the story to support it!

However, I do have some suggested tweaks:

1. Let Zelda keep those cute horns and maybe some other dragonish traits

2. Let her take some time to re-acclimate to speaking, walking, etc

3. No need to discuss the future of the kingdom, ok? The kingdom is set dressing.

3. Let Link cry over Zelda! That's his wife!

I decided to make this since I been doing a lot today. Like making five new videos for my yt channel and doing character ai of my Oc's. Plus, I just can't stop loving shipping Jamie and Alek together. I also thought the voice actor, Chris Patton as Agito from Origin Spirits of the spirits would fit his voice. So far, Only 10 days left till his birthday.

1. Tack The Cobbler - Tack is my first inspired on making Alek the first time. But then soon failed due to me getting used to undertale. But, as I got older and gotten used to Gacha. I decided to create Alek the better way after rewatching the movie again.

2. Clover {Undertale yellow} - I thought it would be cool for Alek to have clover's eyes like this since it started to fits him well.

3. Chilchuck Tims - For the moment I heard casey Mongillo was in delicious in Dungeon. I was super excited and imagine Alek being chilchuck due to be very good at things like engineering, sharp sense and climbing skills.

4. Agito {Origin Spirits of the past} - He is the voice of Chris Patton and I just gotten used to this anime. So to my honesty, I think this voice definitely fits Alek well.

5. Bisco Akaboshi - I figured the goggle fits him well since both love being outdoors for adventures and fun. Especially since both of them got a guardian who took care of them as their own sons. :3
