i heard danielle start to ask the question and then heard "jeric" leave her mouth and practically screamed "YES!! WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR" in my car at 2:30 am.... and then. That happened.

like i GET IT. matt is a hetero guy who played homophobic "jokes" for laughs in the 90s

so i understand (i guess) how he wouldn't think that jeric was "meant to be like that" in the script. but my guy. you admitted you see fans posts online about shipping. do you SEE the things that happened between your characters??? you gotta admit what canon gave us was definitely tons of hints IN THE TEXT about how your two characters were more than just a "bromance" (can we kill that word?)

and will just lets him gloss over the question and doesn't admit that HE HIMSELF said at the beginning of s5 (end of s4?) on the pod that eric would be gay (or bi) if bmw was a show in 2024... (AND has said at meet and greets/conventions that eric loved jack!!! like loved, as in was IN LOVE with jack at some point- witnessed by @sidekickjoey!) so like, c'mon!!!!

i understand you don't wanna push someone's views of the character they played, but it was more than subtext in the show, and will knows that. will has spoken about it a lot over the years. will wrote the reunion episode. so it's disappointing they didn't question matt about it further.

at this rate i feel like we'll never get an actual full conversation about it. it's so frustrating

alright bitches (I view all of you as friends), it’s time for bmw ranting (It’s just eric because I’m thinking about him)

okay so you know how there’s the theory that when you’re with someone you’re comfortable with, your inner child comes out? that’s literally season 5-season 7 eric. maybe even in gmw a little.

eric seemed popular but he never really had anyone (after Jason) that would come to their house. if he was seen with anyone, it was at chubbies and he’d be a lot more reserved. he’s even reserved in the first episode of season 5.

but then he meets jack. ~~his soulmate~~. His bestie. and he starts getting into goofball, loveable eric.

jack is his person that he can just be loose and crazy with. and jack will back him up many times (proven by the “lucky eric” episode when Jack literally follows after eric without needing to and complains about being beat up over eric “again”)

he gets even more ridiculous over time, but it all comes to a stop when needed.

re: when cory was freaking about change, when they all chased cory and Topanga to elope, anything with tommy, even when their friend group was falling apart.

I personally believe he knows his little group needs to let the anger out and sometimes, he’s fine with it being at him. because he wants to fix it.

it’s even his reasoning for being senator is he wants to make it a better place for everyone. all of his choices are for that reason and he deserves better.

literally when everything is “fixed” at the end of season 6: (feeny + the dean, cory + topanga, rachel + jack, tommy having a new family, his parents having a new baby). eric feels the need to leave and even tries.

and when it all goes to shit, he’s right back where they need him. (it’s his fifth sense 🤭)

in conclusion, eric matthews is a saint and the writers were cowards.

What if I tell you that Angela Moore is a lesbian and she dated "Shawn" bc "Shawn" is actually Veronica and she comes out to her and it all makes sense and they're a beautiful lesbian couple? What, then? Huh?

THEY MOVE TO NEW YORK AND "SHAWN" STARTS HER TRANSITION AND ANGELA IS SO PROUD OF HER GIRLFRIEND AND THEY HAVE QUEER FRIENDS AND THEN VERONICA INTRODUCES JACK AND ERIC TO THE QUEER SCENE IN NEW YORK AND CORY AND TOPANGA GO AND ARE SO SUPPORTIVE AND EVEN FINDING EXPLORING THEIR QUEERNESS AND THEY'RE ALL GAY AND HAPPY AND OMFG I LOVE THEM SM I LOVE LESBAINS!!!! I LOVE QUEERS!!! AAAAAAAAA!

i REALLY need pod meets world to watch those jeric compilations on youtube cuz i can understand not seeing it when its happening real time with other stuff in between but when you watch the scenes all put together it is VERY difficult to not even consider the fact that they could be anything other than platonic
