Tigerstar's Fire AU Masterpost
Here is a masterpost so that newcomers can know what the hell has just possessed my dash in the last few days. As always, my AUs are open source and free for anyone else to take and run with!
You can find all posts related to this topic by searching the tags #Tigerstar's Fire AU
What is the Tigerstar's Fire AU?
The basic premise is that Firekit was born to Tigerstar and Goldenflower, in the same litter as Swiftkit and Lynxkit.
This creates a situation where no one was there to stop Tigerclaw from assassinating Bluestar, and The Villain Wins. He creates TigerClan and Firestar watches its rise and inherits its legacy.
This AU focuses heavily on Fireclaw trying to do what's right in a violent world, struggling with the pressures of succession and family dynamics, and a Warrior Cats series based on the idea that TigerClan didn't disband in TPB.
How is it told?
Completely through asks. It's taking on a very 'choose your own adventure' flavor because of it.
(If anyone else wants to run with the idea btw message me and I'll toss you in this section)
ASK COMPILATION (in rough chronological order)
Links to Tumblr posts below the cut!
Section last updated: 11/27/2022

tw for mental and physical abuse also violence because this is warriors we’re talking about
okay this is technically a rewrite, but I like to call it an au okay so the story starts when hollykit and her siblings become apprentices, Hollypaw is trying her best And her mental leafpool tells her she’s doing great, but Hollypaw knows that she’s lying because she has the power to know what’s the truth and what’s a lie. meanwhile, Lionpaw is having a terrible time with his mentor Ashfur because he says he’s not good enough to be his apprentice and physically hurts him so when he was sleeping, tigerstar goes into his dreams and tells him to join the dark forest so he can become a stronger cat and he accepts but the thing is Lionpaw has the ability of super strength and and can’t be defeated unless he chooses to but he doesn’t know this and he almost kills Hawkfrost. while he’s training in the dark forest his brother Jawpaw Is being a bit snappy to his mentor Brightheart, she doesn’t mind this but leafpool thinks he’s better off as a medicine cat one day while he was sleeping, Tigerstar goes into his dreams but spottedleaf stops him then tells Jaypaw that his destiny is supposed to be a medicine cat, Jawpaw gets a bit angry and says crowfood i’m not gonna do that you mousebrain, he goes away also I forgot to mention he has the ability to go into anyone’s dreams, so one day he accidentally goes into Lionpaw’s dreams and sees that he’s training in the dark forest so he tells Firestar about about it and then tells to swap mentors with Holypaw because he doesn’t want to become a medicine cat, Firestar is surprised but does what he says and Lionpaw is relieved to have a kind mentor but Hollypaw isn’t so lucky because Ashfur is a terrible mentor but she’s a better hunter and Warrior than Lionpaw

OCs as Tragic Greek Figures
Tagged by @chuckhansen to do this uquiz, thank you! Using some D&D characters:
Darien Swiftstrike Achilles best of the greeks, eager for honor, and quick to rage: you could easily live content and easy until you're gray-haired, but glory and fame call for you just beyond the horizon. you are not prone to self-reflection and trip into the same pits of wrath at bruised pride over and over. are you truly ready to sacrifice everything so that your name will be immortalized? is your fury what you want to be remembered for?
Lilian Mardoris Arachne adept arachne, the things which you craft are born from years of careful practice, focused effort, and a drop of divine inspiration. your finished product shows the skills which you have honed over your lifetime, so take pride in that, but don't proclaim yourself a peerless artisan. and, by the gods, show humility when you've been beaten.

I really love the "Tigerstar is Swiftpaw's dad" AU. It doesn't change that much storywise, but it just makes it really tragic with Tigerstar sending the dogs that kill him and him wanting to prove himself.
To be honest I really thought for the longest time he WAS Swiftpaw's dad.
God... Tiger spying on Gatherings and not seeing Swiftpaw there. Overhearing apprentices gossip.
"Did you hear what happened to Brightpaw? I hope she doesn't get an infection."
"Better than what happened to Swiftpaw."
But... What happened to Swiftpaw? Where was he? Was he hurt?
Tigerstar getting his 9 lives and seeing his son standing in the crowd, glaring at him with a look that chokes him. He sees the glittering scars and puts 2 and 2 together. That was his son, his baby, his precious boy so full of potential and life and so stubborn and proud. Why was he not given a name? Why did Bluestar treat his son like this? She gave a name to the bastard kittypet child, but denied his son? She's to blame of course, not him, he would have named him Swiftstrike or Swiftfang, something respectable and powerful. His son... Sitting there with his other lost child, lost so young, they both look so unhappy...
Seeing Swiftpaw amongst his own victims as he keeps dying over and over again. Begging them each time to help him. Help me Swiftpaw, please, please, you love me, I'm your father you need to do something you need to save me please Swiftpaw please don't let me die I'm your papa I love y
Watching his other sons, another child of his lost too young, Tadpole was so much like him too, fearless and strong.
Comparing Hawkfrost to Swiftpaw in the horrible way that parents do. Come on Hawkfrost that was sloppy, Swiftpaw had that technique down and never left apprenticeship, you'll avenge me and your brother, Firestar was deputy he could have said something, it would have saved your brother's life.
Seeing Swiftpaw during the Great Battle giving a blessing to Firestar. Realizing he gave Firestar a life and just... Losing it. Firestar stole his son from him, and let him die, and his perfect son still gave him a life?! Why?!
Oh it all just goes perfectly.
Although... It does give Tigerstar the widest family tree EVER.
Lynxkit, Swiftpaw, Brambleclaw, Tawnypelt, Tadpole, Mothwing and Hawkfrost. Oof, gift giving events have gotta be a nightmare.

Frondsway
Frondsway was the perfect cat to become an Herbalist due to her ability to communicate with the Spirit’s Beyond, a rare skill to be found in the Alliance, and started training as soon as she got her Ranger name. Although she was a shy cat who remained rather soft spoken, when she was younger she built a friendship with a Ranger named Swiftstrike, a rash and debonair tom who was often in the Herbalist Den for minor injuries. After a while, Frondsway gained feelings for Swiftstrike against her better judgment: she felt the Spirits were calling for her complete devotion, even sending signs to her that failure to do so may end in tragedy. She promised to keep her relationship with the handsome tom friendly, however hard it might be. And after she became the lone Herbalist for the Colony, it became increasingly difficult to keep her feelings in check…
Frondsway and Swiftstrike had a single kitten together, but the day he was born, Swiftstrike suffered a horrible injury. Frondsway was unable to tend to him due to the birth and Swiftstrike was left with a disabled back leg and damaged eye. He broke off their relationship after that, upset at what their relationship had taken from him. He decided to go to Elmtail and change his name to Tornleg. Frondsway named their son Swift in his honor. The two of them glance longingly at each other in passing, but any love between them is a fleeting memory of a foolish decision.
Frondsway was easily forgiven by many in the Colony for her understandable but unfortunate situation, but Brackenfoot pushed Elmtail to seek justice for Tornleg’s lack of care. Frondsway was charged with finding a replacement for herself as soon as possible so she could step down as Oak Colony’s Herbalist. She chose a then young Thornheart because of his similar connection to the Spirits, but ended up with Wrensong. Frondsway stepped down to become a Ranger once more, with a heavy case of anxiety and self-loathing, wishing she could just disappear…

Plot twist: from age 12 onward, you can approach the temple of Fate and request to have a nickname recognized by the forces of destiny that govern your world. You could be Orin the Strong or Asha Swiftstrike or Erin Charmtongue. Fate will magnify the power of the nickname you choose, but also conspire to place obstacles in your life's path that will serve as challenges your talent can overcome.
You've learned an important thing: the power of a given nickname is diluted across everyone who chooses it. The more people with nicknames such as "fast" or "fleet" there are, the less impressive their individual speed will be. So the most unique nickname will be the most potent - but also bring you the hardest challenges.
What do you choose for yourself?

I read in some fanfic and some fans section that Autobots should giving close and trustworthy human and allies and friends cybertron names, many kind disappointment that they not give sam or Lennox one. In fanfic sam and Lennox have they cybertron names, sam : swiftstrike (giving by deception because how fast sam take down Thundercrack) and Lennox : ironwill( probably because he and Ironhide are close and how Lennox and Ironhide like same person )
So do you have idea sam cybertron names (he still human)?
But I have a few names for magic sam if Autobots decide give him one
1) seraphic: angel. This definitely something bumblebee will suggest because how sam protect them from evil supernatural like guardian angel
2) Druid : magician plus priest. This will suggest after sam using matrix
3) Galdra: literally meant magic user. Also the fact sam only wizard that want help Autobots affair.
4) Enchanter: magican, but for enchanter because sam attract many cybertron shit.
5) Vityaz : warior hero that use magic. Well you can guess who is purpose this name.
So which one you like? And fit for magic sam
Phaethon. inside joke as he is a demi god who crashed the Sun chariot (bumblebee)

«Crossing the clouds»
House of dragon x fem reader insert
I’m posting this snippet because I adore this idea of mine, but I physically don’t have enough time to write it now.
AU where fem Y/N, Viserys and Alisenta's youngest child. Daeron's twin.
I see her as an honest and caring girl who tries to put a huge amount of effort into protecting ordinary people. Since childhood, her entire personality was built based on ancient legends about noble knights.
***
-"Helena.. My dear sister! Please come with me! You know this war will destroy us!"
In the Dance of the Dragons, she does not join any of the teams. Instead, she will try to protect civilians caught in the crossfire whenever possible.Towards the end of the war, Helena will be the only relative she will continue to love. She grew up looking up to Helena.
-"You killed them all!! You mercilessly killed hundreds of civilians, Daeron! Just to give vent to imaginary revenge!! I will not leave this unpunished!"
Swiftstrike roared, mirroring his sister's fury. Without hesitating a moment, the gray beast crashed into the blue queen. Sharp fangs pierced the beautiful blue scales of the dragoness's wings. Not paying any attention to Tessanion's fangs that sank in response, the Cloud Knight tormented his opponent with the greatest anger. The ashes now scorched by dragon fire were stained with the blood of powerful creatures.
***
Her dragon Swiftstrike (among civilians his nickname is "Cloud kinght")(son of Dreamfire)Gray in color, merges into a cloudy sky, fog and smoke. At the end of the dance of dragons, slightly taller than Vermax)
it was he who, after the death of his rider from the crossbows of the fleet, would kill Otto.
«With several spears protruding from his body, deprived of the previous color of the cloudy sky, now a tart red color, he flew staggeringly, but steadily. Towards one goal known only to him. People said that when Swiftstrike descended, he looked much more like an infernal than a dragon. Full of burning rage, spraying blood and smoke, the dragon attacked Otto. They say that the beast did not just burn him, no... The beast tormented him for several minutes, tearing the half-dead, former right hand into pieces. And he calmed down only when not a single recognizable part remained of the Heitauer’s body, only a bloody mess. The dragon did not eat a single piece or even burn what was left of the body.
The great beast died an hour later. Flying a little further than the dragon pit. He died untouched by the hands of angry peasants. Peacefully, letting out a final, mournful and agony-filled roar. In memory of the first and only rider, soul sister.”

Fire is Tigerclawstar's son au: real question. What would Tiger name his kids? Their warrior names. I really can't see him giving Fire the -heart prefix.
I've been thinking about this because you're right, he would never have named him Fireheart. Too soft. Too much like Pineheart.
Tigerstar is actually a really dramatic namer from what we can tell in-canon, from what I can remember he only got to name two warriors; Jag into Jaggedtooth, and Mowgli into Nightwhisper. -Tooth and -Whisper are really rare suffixes...
So I can't see him just giving his beloved kids normal names. I think for Swiftpaw, he'd become Swiftstrike. For Fire, I'm thinking he actually gives him his own suffix, Fireclaw.
It makes Swiftstrike VERY jealous, but for Fireclaw, it's another solemn moment. He's happy to get rid of it when he becomes Firestar.
BONUS: if Tiger also got to name Tawny and Bramble, he would have called them Tawnyshade and Brambleblaze. Bramble would be incredibly traumatized by it because of the fire he was saved from

fe3h unit builds 1: blue lions and mercedes commentary
maddening gameplay ranking for blue lions: Dimitri> Felix> Sylvain>> Ingrid= Dedue= Ashe> Anette> Mercedes. Please note that this is with War Master Felix and darting blow Wyvern Lord Ingrid. Dimitri is Dimitri enemy phase king. Sylvain is my go to on maddening runs if I have female Byleth he's just decent all around I've had him versatile as Dark Knight, or power or dodgetank as Wyvernlord and War Master, or swiftstrikes and kill. Felix does drop off in end game but even then he's a ok unit, but early game with gauntlets and he destroys everything. Ingrid feels that low strength on maddening but going wyvern helps that and she a good dodgetank. Dedue isn't as good on maddening with poisonstrike archers but he's still decent. Ashe is one of the worst of the game's intended archers but he's still a bow user in maddening and sniper is very good, can always stick him on a dragon to get better lockpick usage too. Annette is ok she isn't able to 1 round some enemies but she's still does good enough damage. Mercedes isn't really good with anything except healing and on maddening why have a healer when you can have another attacker. Besides on maddening you should be avoiding getting hit at all (since most enemies can take down like half the units in 1 encounter) so a dedicated healer isn't necessary.
Build wise you'll do fine with the intended class lines. Ingrid is usually the dodgetank falcon or wyvern. Felix goes ok in swords but is optimal in brawl. Annette dark knight dark flier ok. Mercedes bishop. Dimitri crit vantage wrath. Dedue fortress knight.
Yup Falcon Knight is usually Ingrid's go to class as it augments her high speed and gives lancefaire for luin. In falcon she give her avoid stance and she will be your dodgetank for the run baiting out enemies and going solo. Please note that on maddening her str can be unreliable especially in late game which is why some people choose to yup you guessed it make her a wyvern lord instead and give her death blow. She also makes a good sniper but everyone makes a good sniper. To fix Ingrid's strength: 1. deathblow, pairs well with darting blow. 2. certifications, keep an eye on the base stats for classes (advanced especially) as certifying will boost any stat lower than the base. 3. keep her in a wyvern class or other high str class. 4. stat items like rocky burdock (keep in mind theses are limited and using them on Ingrid means not using them on another unit). 5. use high mt weapons and combat arts. 6. battalions. Often if a player has both Ingrid and Petra Ingrid gets benched if she can't keep up stat wise. She's fine on like normal but on maddening her strength tends to not be able to leep up with the enemies' defense. Her growths are mid so she doesn't have the bad rng padding that say.. the lords have. Like other mid growth units this means you have to pay special attention to her class progression. You have to remember that pegasus knight has 0 str growth so if she stays in it too long her str gets pretty bad. As they say wyvern fixes everything so people tend to put her in wyvern rider and lord. The last part is utilization, Ingrid usually doesn't have the raw str to be a powerhouse, her role is usually as dodgetank and secondary damage dealer.
For Mercedes and Flayn go for gremory over bishop if you have extra skill points, both have good reason spells. A note on healers, you ideally should be using every unit every turn so if your healer is sitting back doing nothing for a turn that's a turn wasted. Mercedes has no utility and as such if she's healing you can dedicate pretty much all your other magic units to attacking. You do not need 3 bishops on the field at once. Like you could put Lysithea in dark knight for the tomefaire, range, and canto to increase her offense. Marianne has physic too in an emergency so you have more than enough healers. Don't forgetting about Flayn's rescue which is like a more expensive canto. Flayn and Mercedes are honestly not that good so optimally speaking you'd drop them for better units like Linhardt or Hapi or just pick up another attacker like Sylvain, but again where's the fun in playing optimally. Mercedes isn't that good, she's not bad but she's the training wheels healer. She's the best at pure healing but as players get better at the game and play higher difficulties generally you use tactics that have your units hit less so you don't need a dedicated healer and utility units like Linhardt or Marianne's versatility become more useful because the can do stuff on the turns they don't heal. It's about action economy, ideally every unit should be acting every turn and those actions should be geared towards taking down enemies/commanders/etc. The thing with optimal is that it depends a bit of what niche you need the character to fill. Magic bow Mercedes might give a lot of damage but you give up on magic and healing which is what she is best at, fe3h is filled with good damage dealers but no one else as good at pure healing. Of course if you don't need a lot of pure healing then gremory is good as Mercedes can attack more. I only play azure moon a couple times every year so Mercedes is my least used healer but I wonder if dark knight/flier would work on a team than doesn't need much healing.
