I agree with the previous ask - I love that meta so much. In fact I recently re-read it a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to read fanfiction but just couldn't get into it and I saw your meta in my bookmarks and thought, yeah, that will put me in a Johnlock state of mind. And it did! I understand life gets in the way, so I'm in no way nagging you, I just want to say thank you again for posting what you have so far 💚

I just went through all your meta just recently. I rarely say anything about meta I read because most of it was written before I ever saw the show and it is definitely quiet here, but if you post more I'll be first in the queue to read it!

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a mommy. My dreams as a kid were not to be a doctor or actress or astronaut, ok, maybe the occasional fairy princess, but they were to be a mother instead. To say that my gifts from God are miracles is an understatement. After I had my daughter, I was told I wasn't supposed to have been able to get pregnant in the first place - for a variety of reasons, and that getting pregnant again would be the equivalent of lightning striking twice or winning the lottery. Sooooo, imagine my surprise when 8 years later, I was pregnant again! This time with a boy. That pregnancy was very problematic and my son was 3 weeks early and "born blue" with no signs of life. Once again, God intervened and my son is perfectly healthy and extremely intelligent, with just a couple of issues as a result of his birth trauma, that have mostly corrected themselves as he gets older. In the 1.5 years after he was born, I had 2 miscarriages. So, I am a mother of 4 children. Only 2 of which are here on earth with me. Having been a single mom of 2 very different kids for over 10 years now has not been easy, but it's been so worth it. They are my life. They are my everything. They made my childhood dream come true and I couldn't be more in love with my kids! I love them, no matter what, and it's a love that is not contingent on anything other than they are mine. My love for them has no strings, no conditions, no boundaries. No. Matter. What. I love them. I have been blessed beyond measure with and by them. Sherlock is dead. Moriarty is free. And John is … falling. What do you do when you have nothing to lose?

YES! FINALLY! On Sunday we get to start posting the new fic. The third story in the Forethought and Fire series, I have the absolute honor of writing this one with the amazing @7-percent.

Continuing on from A Dead Man's Money, Few Escape the Gallows pits a grieving John Watson against an angry Sebastian Moran.

You don't need to have read the previous two fics to know what is going on. Suffice to say Moriarty has a plan and Mycroft is going to pay.

And then there is Sherlock …

This fic promises johnlock and mormor. With @7-percent's skill in twisting the literal and metaphorical knife, there is a shed-load of case fic. It is a whole lot darker and angsty-er than my previous two, so please heed the tags and trigger warnings accordingly.

Originally this was going to be the topic of Sundays daily email but i thought it to good a topic to wait. Don't sweat the small stuff. Saturday night Emma @losingthemumtum and i were bathing Charlotte (our 6 month old). We were using her new bath seat and she was absolutely loving it, not quite sitting up unsupported but she was loving it, splashing about and giggling away. For an adult its nothing new is it, sitting in the bath, it may seem a small thing. But for Charlotte its massive, so it got me thinking, the small stuff, the big stuff, it is all about perspective. What i see as a small accomplishment you may see as a large accomplishment.  It's the same when it comes to health and fitness, you may not see the 1lb a week fat loss as a big deal but for someone else its a major accomplishment. Being able to jog for one minute where before you struggled to walk 500 metres. Don't go knocking anyones journey, you don't know where they are. As Dan Millman said, There are no ordinary moments. So you go and enjoy your small victories, you've worked for it.
