getting fixated on an object show character is so hard because it's like Okay. this character is a twist antagonist from the previous season of the show. on a surface level she is manipulative and selfish, but harbours a deep regret for her previous harmful actions that resulted in a close friendship of hers being sabotaged. she introduces herself to a new contestant, initially only helping her for her own gain, but quickly develops an emotional attachment to her as their friendship becomes less transactional and more real, but once again her own toxic behaviour sabotages the only connection she has. she's now drowning completely in her guilt and self-hatred, believing herself to be irredeemably evil.

vbs 2dmvs come in three genres:

RAD DOGS - suffered from being an early-game mv, didn't know what vbs mvs were supposed to be like. relies on animation and flashy transistions, but is better than just zooming in-and-out on the key artwork. (this one actually has two key artworks but whatever)

CRaZY - masterpiece. never feels boring, gets the point of the lyrics across in two languages at once, (the play of baiburu/bible always gets me) shows emotions fully, honestly one of the best mvs in the game. explores akito's relationship with every member of vbs fully, incl luka. i could talk for hours.

ULTRA C - arata gave the kids acid by accident and is currently scrambling to find ken before ken finds him

With knifegate having been made easier, I'm hoping we see an influx of people finally finishing nemesis and thus wondering why it got the short end of the stick. Maybe we'll finally get more tie-ins. There is already a considerable community interest in the storyline and I'm excited to have even more enjoyers of this complex, character driven quest

you DO NOT understand!!! Shadow holds so much respect for sonic despite PERSONALLY DISLIKING his attitude towards issues and his way of handling things, BUT HE STILL CARES

Shadow would NOT like Surge however, because unlike Sonic, she's actively destructive, malicious, and even embodies aspects of Shadow himself that he grew out of

He could feel pity for her, but unless she actually starts doing some effort to not be a villain (get amy rose in here) I don't think Shadow would ever bond with her, at least not positively
