The functions of the thyroid gland cannot be overestimated since it is the most important organ regulating metabolism! In addition to managing energy and metabolism the thyroid gland is involved in other equally important processes.
Thyrolin is an innovative food supplement supporting thyroid health. A rich product formula covering a total of 13 natural ingredients has resulted in the creation of a unique supplement supporting the production of thyroid hormones.

Having ME/CFS around Yule looks like:
• Pushing WAY past your limits to spend time with family and friends
• Leaning over to wrap gifts and coming away with sore hands, legs, back…
• Overdoing it trying to make the perfect meal
• Disappointing family when you can’t make it to every gathering or event
• Being unprepared for unexpected hardships or tragedy during the season, like family members in hospitals or a bill that will be hard to pay
• Needing to rest for several days after a gathering and likely flaring severely
• Wanting to do things with the time off but not having the energy, or sometimes even the interest
• Dealing with symptoms from eating foods outside your normal diet… and generally struggling with new textures or flavors
• Needing more help with things like washing extra dishes or handling more packages than usual, even taking out the trash more often
• Managing animals who are dysregulated from unfamiliar people, decorations, smells, and sounds
• Struggling with bright lights and loud noises, leaving gatherings with a headache
• Falling asleep when you’re sitting in the living room talking to your family (yes this happened to me)
• Leaving events early
• Misunderstanding directions or jokes due to brain fog (and in my case autism) but people not taking the time to explain, or getting ignored because there are too many people and it’s too loud
• Not giving the proper reaction to a gift because of symptoms bothering you, not being able to mask pain or fatigue and appearing ungrateful or even upset (also autism)
• The deep-seated fear of catching an infection brought by another guest, but dreading the eye roll and comments from disapproving family
• Needing to park further away from stores or restaurants due to the *hustle and bustle*
If you have more to add, please list it. It doesn’t have to be ME, it can be anything you struggle with as a disabled person around the holiday season.

I reached a new highest weight since I got here. It’s scaring me so much. I have not changed my diet. Chronic pain and fatigue have been getting worse and worse so I guess I’m less active. But TW I used to lose weight easily on the amount of food I’m eating each day. Professionals have even commented on how little it takes me to gain weight.
It’s making me want to cease to exist.
I am supposed to have a blood test for thyroid hormones today. I don’t know if that will yield anything. I doubt it, my thyroid hormone levels were normal in August. I saw something that said you really need an antibody test for the thyroid issues associated with fibromyalgia as hormone levels don’t tend to come up as different but the GP I spoke to said for it to be anything clinically significant thyroid hormone levels would be effected. So maybe I am just looking for excuses for weight gain and it’s just my own fault.

Time flies! Since my last writing I have had a relapse of symptoms that most would consider a severe flare. Severe enough that I could not walk without assistance from my husband. My rheumatologist tried prednisone first. That didn’t last even the first day. Her next try was tramadol which has been a huge success. I’ve actually been getting quality sleep for a change. I am also scheduled for another mri along with starting physical therapy.
I also caught up with my ENT. Looks like I will be getting sinus surgery in the future. My poor deviated septum almost looks like a c in my sinuses currently.
This Tuesday will be a big day too as I will start my journey to officially file disability paperwork. It begins.

sorry for reblogging this but im in the negative rn :[ scared
i think its about time i made the post I've been meaning to make. i just want it out of the way.
my father passed june 27th. it was sudden, a motorcycle accident that was not his fault in the slightest. my mother was also in the accident, but survived. however, she lost a leg, among having other injuries. she will be in hospitals/rehabilitation for a long time. I'm a disabled person, as you may know as I've talked about my coma in 2022 from autoimmune encephilitis, and my many autoimmune diseases. life is both very hard right now, and has me very anxious. in the future, there will be a gofundme for my mothers needs medically, and insurance wise. my fathers job was our families insurance... and on top of her own medical expenses, I need steroids and insulin and all of my other medication to stay alive and care for her. for now, Im linking my ko-fi, as a way to get any sort of income right now. donations are very VERY appreciated right now. i also sell stickers there, and will be selling more stuff soon, so keep an eye out for posts about new stuff ! thank you very much. please share and reblog this, I'm trying my best to just be.. okay, right now.

Hello.,
My name is Asma Al-Dahdouh from Gaza. We are trapped between walls of fear, despair, and deep sorrow amidst the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip. I appeal to every person with a living conscience, a compassionate heart, and an understanding of humanity to help us.
Help me overcome adversity
I reach out to you today, resilient and compassionate, facing unimaginable challenges. Life in our area has become increasingly difficult due to the ongoing and escalating conflict. I struggle to secure the basic necessities for our family.
Tumblr media
Who is Asma and her family?
I am married to Ashraf Jibreel, who is 39 years old. I am 34 and suffer from chronic illnesses, including thyroid disease and rheumatoid arthritis, requiring lifelong medication. We have four children: the oldest is Oday, 14, who suffers from a chronic illness like mine; Muhammad, 12; Amal, 9, who has celiac disease and cannot eat regular foods, requiring a special diet that suits her health condition; and Hussam, who is 4 years old.
Tumblr media
How has war made our lives hell?
We all feel fear, deep sadness, and insecurity from the relentless bombardment and destruction since the war on Gaza began. My young children cannot sleep normally due to fear and nightmares. My family and I do not have a safe place to live; we rent our home, which has been shelled.
We have fled multiple times due to repeated threats and demands to evacuate. My husband used to work as a taxi driver, but his taxi was destroyed in the war, leaving him unemployed. My son Muhammad, my daughter Amal, and I contracted advanced hepatitis, increasing our suffering.
Due to a lack of good food, clean water, and necessary medication, our condition has worsened. Our lives are threatened either by bombardment and shrapnel or by malnutrition, the spread of epidemics and diseases, psychological insecurity, rampant unemployment, lack of fuel, cooking gas, electricity, and my husband losing his job.
Despite the harsh conditions and ongoing uncertainties, I remain hopeful and determined to provide a better future for my husband and children. My spirit is unbreakable, but we need help from those with living consciences and compassionate hearts to overcome the obstacles we face.
Tumblr media
How can you help me?
My family and I aspire to build a better future for our children, ensuring their safety and allowing us all to live a dignified life, feeling secure and stable, and living in peace. Help us achieve this dream through your generous donations, which will undoubtedly have a significant impact on saving us. The funds raised will be used for:
Renovating our destroyed home and purchasing furniture and appliances necessary for daily life.
Food and water, ensuring we have daily essentials and medical supplies and healthcare.
Education, supporting my children's education by covering tuition, school supplies, and necessary needs.
Every contribution matters
No donation is too small; every contribution brings us one step closer to relief and a better future. Even if you cannot contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your generous network can make a significant difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Asma Al-Dahdouh North Gaza City.

Lubna @rami-ajr91 and her lovely family need our help! She is a 30 year old mother of 3 children (Eline, 7 years old / Kinda, 3 years old / Nasser, 4 years old) Read her story here!
As you may already know, the price to feed and take care of her family in Gaza is astronomical, and Nasser, her middle child, was born without a thyroid gland and needs help with extra care for his medical condition. As you may know, there are no more facilities that can treat him at this time.
Here is proof of vetting and Nasser's medical records for you to check - this campaign has been vetted by @ gazavetters and several other trusted vetting accounts on here!
£4,675 raised out of £16K goal
Please, even if you can spare a little bit of money, we will be eternally grateful!! Thank you so much for sharing and donating :D your care and kindness are much appreciated
