🙏😔Stop, please 😔🙏
Don't ignore me, listen to our sad story💔🥹🍉
Tumblr media
My name is Kariman Dohan, I am 25 years old. I was a committed and diligent teacher, and my husband, Ayman Olwan, 30 years old, is a business administration graduate, but due to unemployment and difficult conditions in Gaza, he was forced to work as a fisherman. We have a wonderful son named Hamoud, who is one and a half years old. We live in Gaza, specifically Khan Yunis, where the fishing boat, fishing equipment and the school where I worked were damaged،Everything we relied on to survive has collapsed: our home, my job, and my husband’s income. We are struggling daily to endure the cold, hunger, and the continuous bombing that threatens our lives every moment🥹💔

We have been displaced several times, and our tragedy has reached the point that we now live in a tent that is unfit for living. We desperately need your help, I have launched a donation campaign but I cannot get the funds so I can get $75000 to get through this current crisis.
Or through PayPal
Before the war and after the war, this is what happened to us😔💔

Hey, please don’t skip this if you’re LGBTIQ+ or support the queer community.🙏🏳️‍🌈❤️
It has been a week and two days since we were brutally attacked. Our shelters our tents, the only homes we had were demolished, many of them set on fire. As I’ve shared in previous updates here, we were severely beaten by a homophobic local community for one simple reason: being LGBTIQ+.
We were forced to flee for our lives, leaving behind what little we had. Now, we are sleeping in the compound of a nearby police station, hoping it provides some level of safety. But even here, safety is not guaranteed.
We sleep on the bare ground without any bedding or mosquito nets, and many of us have fallen sick with malaria. We live in constant fear that the attackers will return. On top of this, we have no food or clean water, and our situation is becoming increasingly desperate.
I am pleading with you if you’re reading this, please consider donating to our fundraiser. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a huge difference. Your donations will go directly toward:
• Providing food and clean water.
• Rebuilding shelters and securing tents.
• Purchasing medicine to treat malaria and other illnesses.
We also need your help to spread the word. Please reblog this post so it can reach as many people as possible. Share it widely and help us show the world what we, as LGBTIQ+ refugees in East Africa, are going through every single day.
Your support could save lives. Thank you for standing with us

Hi folks, I understand with everything going on in the world from Palestine to the Congo to Myanmar to West Papua to Haiti and more, it can get a little overwhelming to keep a track of everything.
But I would like to point people to something happening in my home country in South Africa. Recently in the town of Stilfontein, there have been several hundred 'illegal' miners known as Zama Zamas who have had supplies of food, water and medication cut off from them by the South African police in an operation called Vala Umgodi. Several bodies have already been brought up from the abandoned mines yet the police continue to restrict supplies going into the shafts creating horrific conditions for the Zama Zamas.
Here is the description provided by the organisers of this campaign:
In Stilfontein, North West, South Africa, hundreds of miners remain trapped underground at an abandoned mine, enduring unimaginable conditions without food, water, or vital medical supplies. After 3 months without any food and water supplies, their health is deteriorating rapidly. Many are emaciated, dehydrated, and in desperate need of care. Police have claimed that they are not blocking rescue efforts, but the community says this is not true. The greatest crisis is at Shaft 11, where 500 miners are trapped up to 2 kilometers underground without any way of resurfacing, as there is no staircase. Potentially thousands of others are trapped in surrounding shafts that have staircases, but miners are too weak and ill to make their way up. We have a chance to make a difference. Rescue efforts are underway, but they are slow and require significant resources. The most immediate need is to deliver emergency food, clean water, and medical supplies, including life-saving items like e-Pap, a fortified, ready-to-eat nutritional product. Our goal is to raise R200,000 to provide these essential supplies and support the rescue mission. With your help, we can: Deliver emergency nutrition, water, and medical aid to sustain the miners until they can be brought to safety. Support families who are anxiously awaiting their loved ones' rescue. This effort is being organized in partnership with Mining Affected Communities United in Action (MACUA), the General Workers Union of South Africa (GIWUSA), and local community organizations who are tirelessly working on the ground. Every contribution matters—whether big or small. Your donation will directly aid the miners in their time of desperate need. Together, we can bring hope, nourishment, and a lifeline to those trapped below. If you’re unable to donate but want to help, please reach out to us to explore other ways to support this mission. Let’s unite to save lives.
Please reblog.

do you know if demanding a ceasfire is within ICJ means? i'm not trying to like, idk, defend them or anything, i'm just genuinely curious if they could have actually demanded that, and failed to do so, or if that was never going to be an option
literally speaking? yes, of course it was possible for the ICJ to demand a ceasefire. The South African legal team put up a truly bulletproof case - they would not have asked for a ceasefire if it was not an actual option. Practically speaking? Calling for a ceasefire would've opened up the ICJ to a lot of flack from all the fanatics still moaning about Israel's "right to defend itself". By asking Israel to simply assure protections for Palestinian civilians (which nobody could contest without outwardly seeming like a psychopath), they're trying to walk a safer path.
In doing so however, they've assured that for the next month, Palestinians will most likely undergo the worst barrage of bombing and attacks yet, until Israel has to report back to the ICJ (if they decide to).

‼️ URGENT ‼️
Ashely Phil has reached out to me to share this video!
Although groups are being sent to Canada, they still need resources like food and water, medicine, tents, mosquito nets, repairs (especially because of the destructive rainy season), warm clothes and suitcases, etc. It is dangerous for the LGBTQ+ community, since the environment is so hostile and hate crimes are common.
Please consider donating, and please share!
