“Fuck you have a perfect ass,” you said as you climbed off Jensen and he rolled over to his stomach. He hissed when you ran a hand over the red cheeks but you quickly returned with a bottle of lotion. You rubbed it into the skin gently, Jensen humming to himself. “Better?”

“Yeah. Bet you won’t even leave a mark,” he said. You laid down in bed beside him, Jensen smiling before you both heard a noise somewhere else in the dark house. You sat up, Jensen out of bed, freezing when the door creaked open.

“Hey, shh,” said Jared. He and Gen were giggling, both of them stopping when they saw you and Jensen there. “I thought you guys got back tomorrow.”

“We caught an earlier flight,” said Jensen, tugging his boxer briefs on and quickly deciding against that. “What are you guys doing in our house?”

“House sitting,” said Gen but you saw the look on her face.

“Do you two fuck in our house when we’re not here?” you asked.

“I mean we have a key. It’s not like we’re really doing anything. We always wash the sheets afterwards too,” said Jared.

“Oh. Awesome,” said Jensen. He turned around and you heard them both giggle.

“Looks like someone was a bad boy,” said Gen. Jensen spun around and pouted, staring at you. “We could...play. We haven’t since the party a few weeks ago.”

“I don’t think Jensen could handle more spanking no offense,” you said.

Jensen opened his mouth but Jared just laughed.

Jared grumbled as he took off his clothes, Gen smiling to herself.

“You too,” said Jensen. “You get five of your own for Jared being a little shit.”

She smacked his arm and undressed, Jared turning around and letting Gen go to town on him. 

“Go to the guest room. Screw however you want but nobody comes, got it?” said Jensen. A moment later you and Jensen were alone, Jensen wearing a big smirk.

“Well, I figured by the time we get off again, they’ll be both be begging for it,” he said. 

“You sure they���ll listen?”

“They’ll listen,” he said. “They aren’t as troublesome as us.”

“Definitely not,” you said, smacking his ass. He yelped and rubbed it, frowning at you. “Whoops.”

“Just for that, I’m not going to spank you with my hand,” he said.

“Oh fuck.”

“Come on,” said Jensen thirty minutes later. Your ass was sore and you’d long since discarded his shirt. He dug into your pink cheeks with one hand, the other rubbing his palm flat against your clit roughly while you rode him. “Wanna come in you. Milk my cock, come on sweetheart.”

Of course there was also that theater re-enactment in Thor Ragnarok and Hawkeye's mini series, but those were crack for crack sake, there was very little seriousness involved except for Clint missing Natasha like hell. (she is the one character I will never forgive killing off)

So Tim Minear is giving strong fanfiction vibes here, I remember years ago that this bastard said keep writing fics when asked about buddie, neither one of us imagined that it would look quite like this lol.

So, Brink is canon to Fable… but how, exactly?

Well we sure talked about it on @venear-tmblr ‘s stream and here are my thoughts. None of them are canon, but none of them aren’t canon either. Pick one. Or pick none of them, this was just me being goofy :D

The Brink books in Fable-canon aren’t exactly like the Brink fics that exist irl. In a way similar to the fictional “The Princess Bride” book within William Goldman’s The Princess Bride. They exist, but different to the story we know about. The books in Fable are the real story, and the fics we have are a retelling of them, recontextualised to be more in line with Fable SMP. Maybe they have a similar story, but characters names are slightly different, or certain characters don’t exist. Certain things happen in different ways, and to the people reading it, it’s similar enough to their lives to be an odd coincidence, but not similar enough to be unsettling.

They actually are a weird, prophetic series of books in universe. Think like the “Supernatural” book series written by Chuck in the show Supernatural. Someone in the world of Fable, at some point in history, is/was getting these horrible visions and premonitions, and they treated them as inspiration for their novels, not knowing those people actually existed when the books were published. Maybe they intentionally added the Lovecraftian twist, or maybe that’s how they perceived the visions.

They’re literally the fics from AO3, leaking into the Fable universe from our universe via ✨multiverse shenanigans✨ We know thanks to Sherbert that our streamer reality exists in that multiverse. Maybe Ocie’s blood ritual, or Rae and Centross accessing the void, caused them to slip through the cracks. Or maybe Quixis is wacking them in, intentionally or unintentionally, trying to get Icarus’ attention. We know that once a book exists in Fable, it can show anywhere, any time, so they could have been hurtled through time and space enough to become an established book in-universe. Books are appearing, memories and timelines are crossing, it’s just one of those elements of the multiverse that’s a little bit unstable.

Elizabeth has secretly been writing RPF novels about the people he meets/secretly watches from a distance this entire time. He publishes them under a pseudonym, and has a cult following of readers, who eagerly await the next chapter to arrive by mail. It’s only recently anyone has actually started connecting the dots…

OR if anyone has their own little theories (goofy or serious) as to how/why the Brink books exist in canon, I would absolutely love to hear them /Gen

Idk how long ago you reblogged that fandom ask game thing, but 7, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22, 24, 25 (all character-specific questions are for both Larry and Freddy) (I apologize in advance)

7. Regarding clothing, I think Freddy loves that leather jacket of his and just *believes* he looks so cool in it (he does). For Larry this is slightly cheating but his signet ring. That thing never leaves his hand throughout the whole movie (perhaps drawing our attention to Freddy's fake-ass ring? 👀).

12. Craziest/funniest AU, Freddy's fake-ass ring as told from the POV of the ring. That one will be crack treated seriously on my part, I'm gonna try and give that one a Bronte-style gothic backstory and everything. Another that would be seen as crazy, depending on your mileage for RPF, would be a ResDogs fic based loosely on the premise of Supernatural's The French Mistake, as in it's the actors of the movie interacting with the characters and vice versa.

15. I've decided to stick to present tense all the way, now. I have dabbled in it and past tense in previous fics, but prefer present.

I used to think the more detailed a piece of writing is the better, but now my stuff is streamlined, bare bones info; if the setting is one we (or the characters) will be sitting with for an extended period of time, explain it in detail. Otherwise, don't sweat it. Those nitty gritty details will just bog you down, and unless it is plot. Relevant. I don't bother with it.

Style change in how I prepare to write/post a fic; I hold myself to the promise that I won't start posting a multichapter fic until it is 95% done. This is a lifesaver. I cannot stress enough how well this has worked out for me, especially in contrast to how badly I've been burned by being impatient in the past. It is a recent change for me, compared to how long I've been writing for, but it is also one of the biggest contributing factors to me getting so many fanfictions completed.

17. Freddy would be living for all of the comic book movies. He's got a clear preference for Marvel, but loves them all, especially compared to how little content there was when he was a kid. He's got a soft spot for the early 2000s movies (like a lot of us do) but also loves how far the genre has come.

I see Larry not being able to stand gangster movies, because they never get shit right. And when they do, it's because someone was a damn dirty snitch, and it leaves a bad taste in his mouth. I can see him liking old Hollywood romantic comedies, some real escapism stuff. I think he's willing to dabble in a little bit of everything, and will humor Freddy when it comes to his picks for movie night.

22. Headcanon for Freddy; only child, always wanted to be a cop, parents disapproved. He's either agreed to undercover work because his parents are dead, or he's not on good terms with them. Seeing how his parents dislike his career choices makes him wonder if they'll disagree with his 'life choices' and makes him close himself off almost entirely. He otherwise had a good childhood, and has hung onto many of those childhood interests, like his comic books and posters and figurines and his awful diet. There's a sense of freedom likely, in being able to be true to himself now more than ever but not throwing away what made him happy before.

Larry; I think he really wanted to embrace the greaser look of the 50s, but couldn't afford many of the clothes/products. As a grown adult, he gets to do what he wants, when he wants, including emulating the trends he was so fond of as a teen. It really represents the height of cool/generational discontent that many people his age experienced, but especially for Larry with his home life. I think a young Larry Dimmick made his California Dreamin' play and met up with the first guy that would give him a job, that being Joe Cabot, and has been loyal to the guy since. After all, only father figure is best father figure.

24. Favorite thing about Freddy: we both have similar lifestyles and want to fuck that old man.

Favorite thing about Larry: Look at him. Need I say more? Oh, and we both want to fuck that young man.

25. Least favorite thing? Your honor, my men did nothing wrong. Yes they did all that, but I don't care. Yes they contradict each other, like I said I don't care. They match each others freak and look beautiful together. I accept Freddy's 'on my dick' so I can have him at his 'I'M DYIN' HERE'. I accept Larry casually discussing chopping digits so I can have him at his 'who's a tough guy?' I like my fictional men well-rounded and a little toxic.

those are fighting words because i SWEAR i will finish it but Superficial. it deserves more attention because i still find the concept great i just haven’t felt drawn to it since i actually posted it unfortunately

what are your writing strengths?

i think i tend to keep things in character, or i try my best to, anyway. i think endings should pack a punch or hold some weight so i try to make everything i write have an ending i’m proud of even if i don’t like the project much overall. i think my humor is pretty good! a bit over the top in crack fics but i like it that way depending on the vibe i’m going for!

what are your writing weaknesses?

smut always feels SO awkward even though everyone says its fine i just haven’t gotten over the hump yet LOL. sometimes i feel myself losing velocity midway through and i hate that because i love when EVERY part of a story is interesting. also, internal dialogue when writing in third person / multiple points of view.

thoughts on dialogue in another language?

haven’t done it yet. kind of dread ever doing it. i think it’s great though!

can i talk about vent again. please. pretty please. i reread that one OFTEN because it blows my mind that i wrote it? it’s not fanfic-y and i love that about it (nothing wrong with that OBVIOUSLY i have no problem with ridiculous crack i just like how different it feels for me). semper fidelis remains a strong favorite because i love character studies & projecting 🩵 doors/ACM for lost because those made me feel like i was on fire when writing.
