What is the SPN FanArt Pond?

The ArtPond was created by Michelle, and she gave it to me, Admin Manager, with the intention of bringing new creatives and established artists together to help share and encourage art, crafts, and creativity. This is an open place for artists to ask questions, meet new people/creatives, get tips/advice/help with artwork and crafts of all kinds, running your own blog, and art in general. We have expanded our mission to include all types of artists, because art is art in all its forms.

Note: We do not include writing because we have a sister Pond, @spnfanficpond AKA FicPond, and @fanficocean AKA FicOcean.

We currently have five Lotuses, three of whom are active Admins, one who is our Admin Manager, and Admin Emeritus. (Admin Emeritus means she is not involved in the day-to-day dealings of the ArtPond.) Our goal is to maintain a space where people can interact with each other, and where they choose without fear of reprisal for their interests. As our conduct and rules states, we do not allow discrimination in our waters for any reason. If you choose hate, you will be removed and banned.

Because we love this community, we try to do more than just have this space exist. We try to create activities to inspire you and encourage connections between our members. We take time out of our lives to try and decorate our little space as best we can.

While we encourage connection, we do not require it. We are here to add to the world, not take away from it by requiring interaction.

Now that you know what we are, here are some things that we are not.

We are not a 24/7 service for support of any kind, especially mental health. We are not qualified in any way, shape, or form to be that.

We are not experts in anything. Those with more experience share their experiences with those who have less experience.

We are not able to stop cliques and other sub-groups from forming inside the ArtPond. People are people, and people will be people with other people as and how they choose. We are here simply to encourage people-ing and art.

Hopefully, this explanation of what we are and what we are not helps you to understand what we can and cannot do. If this does not, please contact an admin privately with details, so we can address your problem directly.

I've been going through a pretty bad art block due to life events but I'm currently working through my backlog of sketches. The first one I did was a reff sheet which I don't upload here cause of nudity but I might crop it down. Anyways just a simple pagedoll for one of the many ships I have with Foxteeeth that I'm always feral for.

Also I know some of you followed me for my furry/anthro art - I'll be getting back to that soon. I've got the itch for it too
