Update on Solana and Castis's design

Personal headcanon is that Garrus inherited his aim and looks from his father and his temperament, and tech savvy from his mother. That’s why I gave Castis a carapace shape similar to Garus's (wider rim, but might also make the edges taller later on) while Solana has a carapace shape that's closer to what we see in other turians.

(Here's a post on the female turian re-design I'm working on rn if you're interested)

I know in his canon appearances Castis has normal mandibles, but I wanted to give him a distinguished vibe similar to Victus make him a dilf.

Lmk what you guys think about his mandible markings, I only added them bc otherwise they felt naked to me, but I can also keep him more lore-friendly 🤔

As for the colour scheme, I'm keeping Castis' lovely orange and blue C-Sec armour from the comic. The man's bde is strong enough to make it work and is also required dad fashion 🧡💙

For Solana, it's gonna be similar to ME2 Garrus with blue and black and maybe some silver accents. She has the a slightly modified Phantom armour (Nihlus's armour) so you can probably imagine the final result.

(I've also just realised as I'm typing this that the armour has asymmetrical design with only one tube attached to the right side kms)

Also the little line with G next to it is- as you might've guessed- proof that Garrus is the shortest member of the family. 🥰

Anyways, I'll add more details as I think of them bc tbh it's 6am rn and I haven't slept all night. I'm also debating rn if I should create a design for Garrus's mom as well, but if I do I might need assistance with some things 😔

Oh boy that took a lot of time to prepare

Tbf Mama Vakariand and Castis are very tightly connected to my Femturian/Sol wip in the list.

Basically I had a draft of just random lore ideas for Mama Vakarian bc bioware are fucking cowards who won't give us what we want.

And then I bullied recruited @hanarinhightown into my efforts bc I remembered that I'm actually shit at making up lore 😕

Basically, right now we're just trying to create lore for her and I'm also planning on drawing her design by following my Femturian re-design ideas.

I've already drawn a sketch of Castis and Solana here bc I got frustrated with the way Bioware handled turian culture and the female turian design.

I mostly just wanted to restore the og Castis design from Homeworlds bc Bioware straight up retconed his unique marking and changed them for one of the default Adromeda ones.
