My home smells like cozy autumn because I just prepared fresh peaches in my air fryer with an oatmeal and spice filling, which I drizzled with cream.

Today, it’s about getting some serious reading in and eating this yummy peach with coffee.

WE'RE SO BACK

Self-care Sundays. I love getting my life together on Sundays. What you do on Sunday will really starts the trajectory of how your week is going to go. My Sunday ends up being the most busy day of the week. I think everyone can agree that you go from the entire weeks craziness. To landing on Saturday where you don't want to think about school or work at all. To Sunday where you realize you have a lot of loose ends to tie up from the previous week in preparation for Monday. On Sundays I love to start by waking up and making a home cooked meal. I try to limit my phone usage, and go on a morning walk. Then I end up cleaning every nook and cranny in my entire house which will take me till about 7pm. From then I finally realize I need to catch up on school work. This is when I will study, do busy work for classes, and get my work schedule figured out. At some point normally between the hours of 7-9pm my parents will call a family meeting in the living room. This entails my family going over plans for the week, and big things that are happening in one or all of our lives. Then I end up doing homework till I mentally cannot anymore. Which lands me at about midnight. I wake up the next morning feeling so refreshed, and proud of myself that I pushed though Sunday. Self-care Sundays are a mindset game. In the moment you don't want to clean, and you don't want to do school work. But the after feeling is so rewarding and makes it all worth it. This is your sign to prioritize how you take care of yourself on sunday!

Who can send?: first off mutuals. That should be a given. Otherwise I’m not overly picky depending on the muse/situation. Generally muses/muns I’ve interacted with to know how our muses interact. But as plenty of my muses are comfortable with casual sex/hookups I’m fine if others send even if we haven’t interacted much or at all. Other times I might be less inclined to those I haven’t interacted with yet but rn i don’t mind in the slightest. It just MIGHT be easiest to poke me in DMs and make sure X muse would be compatible with/interested in Y muse ect if you’re unsure. Please pay attention to sexualities when able (I realize I don’t have bios up for everyone who i write as strictly gay or is canonically gay would be: Moran, Dominic, Jesus, Ed, Alec, John, Mardon, Lucius, Colin, TK, and Elis. Everyone else is some form of queer, bi, or pan tbh.

Day 455

Days off where I get to do (mostly) what I want to do is very satisfying. Doubly so when my brain decides to cooperate. There was minimal mind wandering today, which allowed me to get the chores on my to-do list done and still have time to do other things. 

I’m really starting to think I really am just not into playing Balduer’s Gate 3 at the moment. Even though I had time to play it, I instead played two rounds of Dorfromantik. Granted, it’s much easier to judge how much time I would spend playing when playing a game that has rounds or sessions to them. It’s hard to decide when it’s a good time to play any open ended game where you have to decide when you should stop playing. Whereas, playing a game that ends when you run out of tiles is much easier to judge.

I’ve also taken time out to read some fanfiction I’ve been meaning to re-read so I can finish the series. Since it’s been a long time since I first came upon that story. I have a list of things I’ve been meaning to read, and decided putting it into my to-do list would remind me that is a thing I’ve wanted to do.

But the major thing I spent doing was making Christmas cards. Not just because it needed to be done. I’ve also been watching JashiiCorrin’s livestreams, because I like listening to her. As it happens, she seems to always stream on a Sunday in the afternoon. So I’ve been hurrying for the past three weeks to get my chores done before the livestream because they tend to take hours.

To be honest, I didn’t think today’s stream would be that long because it was an item haul stream. She’s a fairly well known content creator in the realm of bullet journaling so companies like to send her things that she can then present to her viewers. There was a very pretty notebook she opened with gilded pages, but the pages are coated in something that makes the ink slower to dry, a bit of a problem if you’re left handed. It’s just as well, I don’t need more notebooks.

I finally settled on a card style that I liked. It's pretty simple, but I think it’s nice enough to give to co-workers and family members for Christmas. Also my penmanship is slowly getting better so that’s something. Some strokes are still kind of difficult because being left-handed means I push against the brush. But it’s a lot better than what it was before.

So it’s been a good Sunday.
