during prayer today, I asked God for the opportunity to use my money for good. An hour later, my sister tells me she wants to start reading the Bible but doesn't have one... the way I flew to the onlineshop for secondhand books

He does, what he wants, when he wants, how he wants and the atheist won't accept it, that even in there factual existence He was always aware. God, does, what he wants, when he wants, how he wants Period

"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is on a hill, cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick, and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 5:14-16
Jesus declares that we are the light of the world.
Just as light is essential to illuminate darkness, we are called to shine God’s love, grace, and truth in a world often filled with confusion and despair.
The idea of a city on a hill or a lamp on a stand is powerful. When something is placed in such a position, it’s impossible for it to go unnoticed. Our lives, too, should be lived in such a way that God’s presence in us is evident. Not for our own recognition, but so that others may see our good deeds and be drawn to the goodness of God.
Jesus doesn’t call us to hide our faith or our love for Him, but to live it boldly and authentically. Through acts of kindness, compassion, and integrity, we become reflections of God’s light in the lives of others. Think about the people around you—family, coworkers, neighbors—who might be struggling in their own personal darkness. A word of encouragement, a helping hand, or even a listening ear can be the very light they need to experience God's love.
Let us remember that our light is not our own, but the light of Christ shining through us. As we go about our daily lives, may we always seek to glorify God in what we do, pointing people not to ourselves, but to Him. This week, let’s make a conscious effort to let our light shine through love, through service, and through faith, knowing that in doing so, we are fulfilling a divine calling.
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of Your Word, and for calling us to be the light in this world. Help us, Lord, to shine brightly in all that we do, reflecting Your love and goodness. Give us the courage to live out our faith boldly and authentically, so that others may see Your grace through our actions.
We ask for Your guidance in the moments when we are tempted to hide our light or when we feel uncertain. Strengthen us to be a beacon of hope, peace, and love in the lives of those around us. May our words and deeds bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You.
I lay this prayer humbly at your feet. In Christ's name, Amen.
