Theory: Viren needs a storm

One thing I would like to know about season 6 is what the weather is like. If it was sunny or clear, okay, that's irrelevant. But, in season 4 episode 4, Zubeia notes that she can create a storm to block out the sun:

And, more directly, Ripples explicitly mentions that a storm caused the sun to not rise for weeks:

One phrase specifically stands out: "for the sun must always rise, mustn't it?" The phrasing is so similar to a phrase that Viren fans know way too well:

And Ripples is also told by Aaravos. He canonically sees storms as something that prevents the sunrise.

All I'm saying is, Viren may not need a spell to survive the sunrise at all. Maybe he just needs a storm.

Sometimes I think we as a fandom misjudged Kalim as the sun/sunshine character bc of his personality but his unique magic is water-related and such element has always been tied with the moon. Also his sign is cancer (which is also a water sign) and, if memory serves me right, cancer is the only sign ruled under the moon. I don't think these details are arbitrary

But then I remember his way-too-bright annoyingly loud personality and forget about it

i love when the primals and their motifs are interacting/connecting to larger things uhh thinking how

startouch, earth and ocean all seem to share elements of depth and control/lack of control, depths and no single one truth (stars-mysterious, earth-open to new ideas, ocean-depth)

while sky & sun are focused on freedom & justice respectively, sun putting emphasis on one truth,

and how stars are tied to dark, sun purges dark but is later corrupted by it and well, stars are kind of messing with sky & sun (callum, lux aurea, whatever the fuck is going on with pharos and little bug pal bite)

What if it was a question of identity? Aaravos thought he was talking to the version of Viren who wanted to do dark magic. That version of Viren who would sacrifice for power/ for humanity. That version would have sacrificed Sir Sparklepuff. So it's technically true, that version of him would die, if he decided not to do the spell. Instead, the sun rises. He sees the light of the sun, the light of truth.

Under the light at Lux Aurea, the light reveals the truth. Here, the sun will rise, and with it, a more just and pure Viren, and the version that did dark magic, will not.
