the chill of the air creeps up, making you shiver as you bring your arms closer around yourself in an attempt to provide yourself with some sort of warmth. today was a gloomy and very cold day. if you hadn't been in such a rush in the morning you would have remembered to have taken your hoodie, which was left draped on the chair. so here you were now, trying not to freeze as you walked around campus to your next class.

at the end of the day, all you want to do is curl up in bed in the warmth and comfort of your bed and blankets. it doesn't help that the person you were sitting behind had their window open on the bus, all the cold air hitting you harshly, making you shiver even more and the only form of protection was to place your backpack in front of you, which also didn't seem to do any help. you get off the bus and see a familar face waiting for you - seungcheol

you smile upon seeing him, while he frowns. "where's your jacket?", he asks and when you don't answer him that's all he needs to know before he's shrugging off his jacket and draping it around your shoulders as he mumbles about how it's so cold today and that you could catch a cold. "i'm fine", you say, trying to soothe him but he can see right through it. "you're literally shivering baby", he tells, zipping up the jacket and pouting at you.

"gotta get my baby home before you freeze up", he tells, holding you hand, only to suddenly look up at you in suprise. "baby...you're hands are literally frozen right now", he tells, worry etched all over his face. "come on, it can't be that cold", you tell, holding your hand to his cheek and you watch him wince at the sudden coldness on his cheek. you mumble out a small sorry as you put your hand over your own cheek and you have to agree, your hand was...pretty cold.

he holds your hands to warm it up and he walks with you back to your apartment which was a five-minute walk. once you home he's insisting to make you something hot to drink because he doesn't want your insides to be frozen too. five minutes later he comes out to the couch to see you curled up with a blanket, wearing a hoodie, his hoodie. he chuckles when he sees your feet peeking out and the mismatched socks you're wearing. he hands you the cup of hot chocolate and the warmth is a blessing and you sigh as your hands warm up. later you snuggle up in his arms as he tells you about his day, leaning in close to his touch, warmth and comfort.

sorry it’s the middle of the night but do you think rolan deep was ever homesick ? If he couldn’t sleep at night in Chicago where the sounds of cars and trains and people kept him up. Where the lights outside his window were always too bright through his blinds, brighter than anything had been in Galloway.

If rolan couldn’t sleep without the cicadas song, missed the buzz of mosquitos and gnats. Missed the creaks of his old house and his parents snores. Do you think Rolan desperately cracks open the window only to real back in disgust. Everything in Chicago so foreign so wrong, even the air is different.

I think Rolan gets homesick for something more. For the smell of the bayou and something sickly sweet, for the smell of cheap cigarette and lighter fluid. He misses the smell of the earth and bright clear starry skies and the smell of weed and feel of rough denim. I think, late at night when Rolan in between exhaustion and anxiety, Rolan misses his friend more than anything. The feeling of exhilaration at climbing onto the Rands roof at 3 in the morning, tapping Rands window to wake him up. Sharing a cigarette that he hates the taste of, so their hands can touch his for a moment. The feeling of safety and home that he only ever felt there, sitting shoulder to shoulder with his best friend. I think Rolan gets homesick alot.

My personal opinion

Spoilers

Marvel Writers: Hank McCoy/Beast is irredeemable. He is a despicable villain. The version you will see in the upcoming comics is a clone of himself with only up to his mid-1980s memories/portrayal. If original Beast does come back, it will still be as a villain and he can never come back to the original team as a hero. He has no one to blame but himself.

Thought I should post my cute ginger today with a citron fresh Summer outfit before Summer ends! Somehow I could not manage to take Summer pics because I'm forever lost in taking outfits pics … or story based stuff.

I've had this outfit for probably half a year now and never used it. It had a different pair of pants and a white belt before but it never felt for me like "this is it, I love it!" because the pants were long. and I didn't like the boots (I have better ones now - they will show in a 2nd post later this week).
