Tumblr media
The family camping trip is a classic, yet still, efficient way of strengthening a relationship with family members while discovering the beauty of the natural world. Regardless of your experience, be it a newly formed family of campers or a family of great adventures, organizing a memorable family camping trip entails a lot of considerations things like the choice of the destination and the comfort of every family member. This summer we will provide a complete guide of camping ideas, the best campsites for families, camping gear necessary for kids, outdoor activities, easy campfire recipes, safety tips, a camping checklist for a family, fun camping games, and how to make your trip truly unforgettable.
1. Summer Camping Ideas for Families
Summer is the season of camping trips with family. If the temperatures are warm and the days are long, the outdoor adventures become even more fun and enjoyable. The list below contains summer camping ideas that your family is going to love.
a. National Park CampingVisiting national parks is the best way to get to know various terrains as well as the nature-oriented educational programs directed to kids. For example, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon are the parks not only displaying the breathtaking views but also offering them family-friendly hiking trails, wildlife spotting and ranger-led programs that teach kids about nature and conservation.
b. Beach CampingWater-loving families will find camping at the beach to be the ideal combination of relaxation and mega-adventures. Campsites on coastal states like California and Florida allow you to enjoy the ocean and sand while you are just steps away from the beach, spending the night over there. Don't forget to bring things like sunscreen, beach towels, and lots of water toys for the kids!
c. RV CampingRV camping is a brilliant choice for families as it brings in a lot of modern stuff including air conditioning units, kitchens, and bathrooms, thus providing a more relaxing camping experience. RV campsites scattered all over the place pave the way for you to have the opportunity to go on a trip with several stops. To add to the fun, some campgrounds provide amenities such as pools and playgrounds where children can play.
d. State Park CampingState parks give the camping alternative that is easily accessible and budget-friendly, and they are often the places with less crowded than the national parks. Visit local state parks that have campsites near hiking trails, lakes, and picnic spots. State parks mostly provide family-centered activities like ranger talks and exhibits of animals.
2. Planning the Perfect Family Camping Trip
A successful family camping trip requires thoughtful planning. From selecting the right campsite to packing the right gear, here are some tips to ensure your trip goes smoothly.
Choosing the Right CampsiteThe choice of your children's age and interests has to be considered when you are selecting a camping place. Young kids may be the ones who value campgrounds that have playgrounds, easy trails, or places where people can go swimming. On the other hand, teenagers might be the ones who value more difficult hiking, swimming in the water, or the opportunity to learn fishing or kayaking.
Creating a Flexible ScheduleWhen you are planning your activities, be sure to have a mix of structured outdoor adventures as well as downtime. Too many activities can cause stress whereas too much freedom can be boring for children. Hiking, canoeing, or exploring can be paired with quieter activities like sitting by the campfire or playing games.
Getting Kids Involved in PlanningLet your kids get their hands dirty in the trip planning by choosing some activities, help with packing, or assist in setting up the tent. It is because of them that we feel necessary, and it is always they who look forward to the trip.
3. Best Campsites for Families

d. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, FloridaFor people looking for a combination of camping and Disney truck, Fort Wilderness is a great place to be. Besides the RV sites, cabins, and tent camping options, the site also offers horseback riding, canoeing, archery, and pools, plus direct proximity to Disney World.

d. Create TraditionsA camping trip with the family should be a tradition by setting up a trip every year, either to the same campsite or exploring a new location each year. The traditions not only build up the excitement for the family members but also help create everlasting memories.

i feel like we as a fandom sleep on the fact that a majority of bg3 is a bunch of city people and foreigners being thrown into an unfamiliar environment and having to live there/navigate it for like a month LMAO
long treks through rain, wind, heavy sun
biting bugs
baths in freezing cold creek water
boots getting stuck in the mud
someone waking up with a snake in their tent
failed attempts at learning to hunt or locate food and everyone getting hangry
accidentally eating poisonous plants
slipping/tripping/falling over various terrains
walking through spider webs
being sticky and sweaty from the humidity
aching backs and feet
taking a wrong turn and getting lost
scary animal noises in the middle of the night
everyone smelling like mildew, B.O, and dirt (a.k.a ten cans of BOUNCE THAT ASS)
i just feel like there’s some potential here

FICS/STORY IDEAS
Here’s some storyline ideas. You can decide if you want it angst or fluff or whatever! I don’t mind if you take this ideas. You don’t need to credit just a tag, so I could read it! Would be great!
All the promises were already broken.
Just one more night with no feelings, nothing. After that we forget.
Reader finds out their relationship was nothing, but a lie.
He wanted her back. She moved on.
Even after breaking up. They still find ways back to each other.
He manipulated her and she fell for it.
They are toxic for each other. But always end up in bed with each other.
He wanted her back but she isn’t giving him another chance.
He left her and she still wanted him back.
They were never meant to be and they knew that. They just can’t let each other go.
She just wanted to be enough for him, but he didn’t care.
He cheated and she found out. Now he realized he can’t live without her.
He didn’t deserve her. But her love for him is stronger.
They thought they had something. But then decided it was best if they stopped seeing each other.
She always forgave him, but this time she didn’t.
How could you be in love with someone who is always mad at you. She knew it was best if she just left. But after everything they've been through it wasn’t going to be easy.
She couldn’t love him as much as she wanted to. It was forbidden to sleep with someone you worked for. But she couldn’t help but ignore the rule.
He was such a fool for letting her into his life. But maybe it was the best thing to happen to him.
They broke up, but they can’t live without each other.
Their relationship was fragments of the past, but deep down their love was still stronger than ever. What happens when they meet again?
She thought things were going amazing. Well she thought wrong.
He got what he wanted and he was happy. Meanwhile she was still broken and miserable.
Their relationship was amazing at the start. But over time the person that she fell in love with wasnt the same.
After years of talking. They decided it was best if they stopped. Maybe it actually didn’t stop in the end.
He didn’t listen and thought everything was fine. She knew everything wasn’t fine and just wanted him to listen.
She despised him. He was arrogant and only cared about himself. That was until he gave her a ride home.
She didn’t want to fall in love with him again until his touch made her do the one thing she didn’t want to do ‘fall in love again’.
They stopped talking, but he called her wanting just one more night to forget about everything.
No denying they loved each other. But this was their third breakup. It was just best if she left for good.
He was her first love and would be her last. (either she could meet someone else or something!)
He didn't care about any girls and most importantly. He didn’t fall in love. That was until he saw her and his whole life changed.
She knew he was pretending and she wasn’t falling for it.
After years of dating they finally said the 3 words. ‘I love you’
Maybe being snowed in wasn’t so bad after all.
He didn’t seem to understand the words ‘I’m done.’ If they were done, why was she in his bed again.
After years of apologizing. Apology accepted.
After she said don’t ‘bother calling when you need something’. Turns out it was her in the end calling for something.
Maybe jealousy is something that can reunite the flame that was lost.
He was jealous and she didn’t care.
She didn’t trust him. Until one night when drinks got the best of her, and waking up on his couch realized how wrong she was.
She thought he didn’t love her. Until he showed her how much he did.
He didn’t understand that she was breaking up with him. She wanted so badly to say no. But her desires got the best of her.

camping with allergies is so adorable especially with a significant other. being outside all day kicking off their allergies. then holding them close by the campfire and having the smoke tickle their nose more. and then finally exhausted after a day of sneezing cuddling into their partner in the tent only to realize there’s so much dust in there. also the idea of not having tissues because you can’t throw them out so having to use a bandana, a shirt, or your partner…

Something that got talked about on the discord that I haven't brought up here is the summer camp AU. No time-travel, no amnesia. Just summer camp. Ingo and Emmet used to go to it every year, but Emmet was never as enthusiastic about it as Ingo was. He stopped going around middle school, but Ingo kept it up and eventually became a counselor when he was old enough.
So every summer, Ingo packs his bags and heads to Sinnoh to spend a month and a half working at the sleepaway summer camp there. Lian, Sabi, Akari and Rei are all campers, whereas most everyone else from Hisui is in some kind of position at the Camp, with Kamado running the show. Irida and Adaman are in charge of the two main cabins. Irida just barely is old enough to be a counselor herself after attending the camp for years.
(Lucas and Dawn also attend the camp. They are not related to Akari and Rei in any way. Yes, they're pretty sure.)
(Barry's there too.)
Nobody at the camp really associates counselor Ingo with Subway Boss Ingo, mostly because Ingo just likes to get in touch with his wild side so to speak while at camp. They have cabins for the counselors to sleep in? Oh, that's quite alright. He'll just pitch his tent.
(He's not alone though. Gaeric also does this.)
All of the Noble Pokemon hang around at the camp as well... they're rare variants that the camp takes care of, and they help out around the camp. Sneasler is very attached to Ingo, and sometimes likes to use him as a babysitter. Some things truly never change. Since Ingo leaves all of his Unovan Pokemon with Emmet to help at the Battle Subway, the first year he starts working at the camp afterwards he doesn't have any with him... until he finds an injured Gligar who he nurses back to health and oh. Well. He has another Pokemon now.
(He keeps doing this until he has another full team of six. Whoops.)

It’s so weird that Nie Huaisang decided he absolutely had to resurrect Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian’s personal investment in Nie Mingjue’s death is no greater than that of any other member of their generation save Lan Xichen; if anything, it’d be less, given that Nie Mingjue came down firmly against pardoning the Wen remnants. Even when he does have a personal stake in the mystery (as he does in CQL with his final curse mark), none of his skills make him uniquely suited to revealing the mystery. Nie Huaisang has no reason to think that Nie Mingjue’s spirit is too restless for a standard Inquiry session, and while Wei Wuxian is clever, it’s not like he’s the Benoit Blanc of the jianghu.
What Wei Wuxian is uniquely capable of is the ability to raise the dead and restore their cognition. Nie Huaisang would definitely have heard about the Ghost General! He would also likely have heard that the Ghost General was capable of behaving like a totally normal guy, given the several people in his peer group who observed this firsthand!
All of this is to say that I don’t think Nie Huaisang resurrected Wei Wuxian because only he could expose Jin Guangyao. Nie Huaisang does most of that work himself anyway, and neither Wei Wuxian nor Mo Xuanyu has a reputation that lends credibility to any potential accusations. He needs Jiang Cheng and the Twin Jades for that.
Rather, I think the main point of bringing back Wei Wuxian was the hope that he could restore Nie Mingjue the same way he restored Wen Ning. After all, Nie Huaisang’s pettiest acts of vengeance don’t kick in until after it’s clear Nie Mingjue’s soul is beyond repair. This is probably not how Nie Huaisang envisioned this whole thing going.

Everyone should have their bandanas now! If anyone loses theirs, Not-Cucurucho has some extras in his office, no need to worry.
And take a look at those patterns!

(Light blue- Panda, Orange - Capybara, Yellow - Rabbit, Purple - Fox, Dark Blue - Wolf, Red - Lion)
So what does everyone think about their new counselors?
(P.S. Can you spot the smiley face in each bandana? Some are well hidden!)
