What ever you do don't think about Percy reading Estelle a little kid version of 'The Odyssey' because that's what Sally read to him but he doesn't want to scare her. Don't imagine Sally looking on with guilt in her eyes cus she HAD to read him the real one so he knew what to expect. Don't think about Sally looking down on her little girl with tears in her eyes cus she doesn't need to worry about snakes in her bed or teachers being Cyclopes. Don't think of Sally seeing Estelle with Paul and having to leave the room cus when Percy was that age they had Gabe. Don't think of the unimaginable guilt that Sally must feel for being relieved that Estelle's biggest battle at 16, is her Dad being her teacher. And whatever you do don't think about Percy feeling like an outsider in his own family even though he gets constantly reassured that he's part of it and loved.

based on that weird dream i had except i made him a more purple/violet color like my ninjago oc anya

BASICALLY the dream is that danny was gonna Fully Die but clockwork intervened and gave him a chance at a new life in a different world, completely over from scratch. he ended up keeping his memories of his past life but because the worlds are so different the only things that were handy were like. science and math he could remember since physics mostly worked the same. he was born to two parents, john and maria mortis (they weren’t named in the dream but i decided to keep their names close to jack and maddie hehe >:3)

he ends up keeping some of his powers still-- invisibility and intangibility, which he has to re-learn from scratch, and also he can see and interact with certain shades and echoes left behind from living people (which are different from ninjago’s version of ghosts, these shades can’t interact with the world and are completely passive, but they are immune to water).

eventually he ends up in S0/S1 of ninjago training with the four core ninja and his weapon was technically a spear or staff thing but i decided that a set of kama were a cooler weapon-- they’re mostly japanese farming sickles but they are used in some katas in different martial arts in southern asia so i thought they were cool. didn’t wanna draw them tho

there’s more information i could write but there’s so much here already that maybe i should Chill out

NHL Draft 2019: What Jack Hughes said to Devils during scouting combine interview

The Devils planned to conduct more than 60 interviews with prospects for the 2019 NHL Draft at this week’s NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo.

Following their session with Hughes, the Devils released video of his answers to three questions posed during the meeting.

Here’s a glimpse at the questions and what Hughes said.

Question from Dr. Aimee Kimball (Devils director, player and team development): “Define success for me.”

Hughes: "In life, it’s making a purpose and achieving that, right? Dedicating your life to something, dedicating time to something, ending up achieving it and maybe doing better than that. Me personally, that would be a Stanley Cup. That’s something I’ve dreamed of my whole life. I think that’s why every hockey player at this level plays.

Question from GM Ray Shero: What do you know about yourself or about your game that you might not have known if you just stopped playing at the U18s and didn’t go to the World Championships?

Hughes: “Easy thing to do for me was to go back home, golf every day, hang out with my buddies until we leave for the combine. That was the easy thing to do. I just broke (Alex) Ovechkin’s (U18) record. I had 20 points in seven games. I felt I had more left in the tank, and I did the hard thing, which was go to men’s worlds, play a third-line center role. And I feel like I did that all for the experience to play against men and be around men.”

Question from assistant GM Tom Fitzgerald: “Do you have any fear at all of next season, coming into the best league in the world?”

Hughes: “No. I don’t think there’s any fear in me. For me it’s something I dreamed of my whole life. For me, I read and react. I think when I have time and space, I’m a threat to score or a threat to make a really nice play. It’s exciting. I think it would be unbelievable to play in the NHL as an 18-year-old.”
