So recently I discovered this fic hey runner by @ominousvibez (which is inspired by greenland by Cyclondo)

Somethings to note: THIS IS NOT SHIP ART (in the fic Danny is 15 and the ninjas are all adults), and I'm pretty sure Danny was in ghost form during this, but I didn't think of that until I was halfway done with the drawing.

And I absolutely love this crossover (which btw there aren't very many DP x Ninjago fics) because it combines two of my favorite shows. Anyways here's a moment from Chapter 3 of hey runner that I felt compelled to draw! I can't wait to see how the rest of the fic will continue!!

based on that weird dream i had except i made him a more purple/violet color like my ninjago oc anya

BASICALLY the dream is that danny was gonna Fully Die but clockwork intervened and gave him a chance at a new life in a different world, completely over from scratch. he ended up keeping his memories of his past life but because the worlds are so different the only things that were handy were like. science and math he could remember since physics mostly worked the same. he was born to two parents, john and maria mortis (they weren’t named in the dream but i decided to keep their names close to jack and maddie hehe >:3)

he ends up keeping some of his powers still-- invisibility and intangibility, which he has to re-learn from scratch, and also he can see and interact with certain shades and echoes left behind from living people (which are different from ninjago’s version of ghosts, these shades can’t interact with the world and are completely passive, but they are immune to water).

eventually he ends up in S0/S1 of ninjago training with the four core ninja and his weapon was technically a spear or staff thing but i decided that a set of kama were a cooler weapon-- they’re mostly japanese farming sickles but they are used in some katas in different martial arts in southern asia so i thought they were cool. didn’t wanna draw them tho

By the time Danny moves to Gotham when he's going to Gotham University he starts putting a mask over his face because ultimately Gotham citizens are just smarter than Amity ones and it's not like a domino mask like the Robins and it's not a full cowl like Batman.

So I have four alternative options;

Number one being one of those digital masks that can show different exclamations and stuff (like this one:)

I just think it'd be funny for everyone to think that the new ghost hero that just turned up out of nowhere is mute and then one day he just starts talking and everybody's like: "WAIT WHAT?!?"

Alternatively, the most obvious option is the Phantom of the Opera mask and he does this purely for the fucking gimmick it covers completely nothing so he has to wear a mesh black mask underneath to cover his features but still, it's funny

Third plague doctor again purely only for the gimmick and because he thinks it's funny that everyone thinks he's from the plague times so they ask him weird questions and he has to do a whole bunch of research to answer them and he doesn't look online for This research he goes to actual plague survivors in the ghost Realm

4th and finally only for my imagination this specific mask because I think it's fucking perfect (yes I know it's not an actual mask and it doesn't cover his entire face but you can't deny he looks fucking awesome here and I wish this look stayed or at least made another appearance)

Okay, it's official: I'm booped out. I don't think I can see another Tumblr post for the rest of the night ＾≅⋏≅＾

On the positive side: This is definitely the best April Fool's day I ever had on the internet. It was super fun booping people and it is probably the most activity I've done on Tumblr in... forever. I cannot genuinely imagine what my life would be like, up to this point, if I never joined this fey realm. So... Thank you everyone and a special thanks to the Ninjago and DC x Dp (and, in general, Batfam) communities for inventing and keeping me on this hellsite, respectively.

Ok, so I have a few hundred fanfictions I have planned out for a ton of different fandoms and I have no idea which one I should write, so I'm putting it out of my hands.

I'll give the title and the fandom and everyone and anyone else can decide what I write. Includes rewrites of my current fanfiction on Ao3 that I don't like anymore. I'm only doing one story for each fandom on this pole but I'll make a deal where I post one chapter a week and when I finish I will post another poll for a different story. Okay, I've rambled enough and I need to stop or I'll just keep procrastinating. I will start writing when the poll ends. So here:

I’m in desperate need of someone writing a crossover of Danny phantom and ninjago.

Imagine the possibilities of two silly green buddies with green traffic light eyes, with green op powers and white hair with severe daddy and mommy issues.

Danny and Lloyd would become besties immediately

Ninjago x atla

More specifically if the main cast of ninjago was in atla

Cole would of course be an earth bender, i don't think too much would change about his history just put it in atla(i don't know a whole lot about coles backstory)

Zane would be a water bender that specialize in ice, of course zane would be human here so his history would have to change some, lets say zane was originally part of the northern water tribe but for one reason or another he ended up somewere in the earth kingdom with Amnesia.

For jay i think it would be both funny and kinda ironic for him to be a fire bender but struggles with the most basic form of fire bending but can still lighting bend just fine, for his history I'd say that his parents (i forget their names) are still mechanics but they work for the fire nation (its up to you if it's willingly or not) and jay ran from the fire nation

Kai would of course be a fire bender, lets say that ray was a fire bender who ranaway with maya a water bender and later the fire nation found them and killed them leaving kai and nya alone

Nya woud be a water bender, same as above and that similar to the ninjago pilot she was taken by the fire nation and kai had to go rescue her wich is how they meet the group

I think wu would actually be a non-bender who just really skilled and wise, he traveled the world and one by one came across the ninja instead of actively seeking them out like in the show.

I think lloyd would ether be a non-bender or a air bender, so garmadon would be a fire nation general and misako/koro would be either a non-bender or air bender and lloyd would have been mostly raised by wu.

For how they all met it would be mostly the same as the show, and they travels around in a group across the land and sea mostly avoiding the fire nation

Yes, but my bread and butter is Danny phantom so is mostly with that show, you can browse the tag dpxdc on this blog to see some of my ideas for that fandom as for the non dp stuff I have The owl house x Jake Long and lmk x ninjago. Now I want to briefly share I bit of what I’m thinking right now and that I will probably make a full post in the future.

I have an idea of a series of fanfics revolving around Danny reincarnating into multiple universes to defeat their version of death. Long story short, since the ghost king was locked way each dimension had to manage death locally, meaning that every single one had to assign this job to someone, but with Danny now in the picture this arrangement will start to cause problems, so he must regain the title of death one dimension at time.

This one is based on a fic that I read a while ago, which had Dib from invader zim appearing as a cameo, Basically Wes and Dib are internet friends they discuss about Zim and Phantom, and they believe in each other’s ideas, however one day Wes stops talking to Dib which drives him visit Amity park personally, as turn out Wes is now friends (or boyfriends if you prefer) with Danny and is no longer comfortable talking to Dib. Then basically Dib becomes a crazy competent ghost hunter who goes after Danny for brainwashing his friend. Also, Dib is staying with the Fentons, they let him stay cuz he’s membrane’s son, they treat him basically as an honorary family member all the while he torments Danny psychologically.

There’s Danny phantom and Kim possible, pretty old idea, and it was inspired by this post, although I would have to rewatch Kim possible to have confidence in sharing it, Toh x svtfoe which so convoluted that I don’t even know how to explain yet, and of course a lot more of dpxdc ideas that I’m still cooking.

I have very vivid dreams sometimes, especially if I’m sick or if I took melatonin (which both this time), here’s how the dream went:

After a “reveal gone wrong” scenario (or something similar) Danny ends up being caught and experimented on by the GIW. He’s saved by his family and friends (maybe his parents didn’t turn him in, maybe they changed their mind and had the realization), but it’s almost a little too late. He’s destabilizing and dying for good this time. Frostbite suggests they take Danny to Clockwork, who might have a way for them to save Danny, so they do.

Clockwork does have a way, but his family and friends will never see Danny again, as the only way for Danny’s essence to survive is if he gets reborn in a different dimension. They eventually agree to that, just so Danny can live, and Danny is reborn as the only child to two loving parents, Maria and John Mortis, in a place called Ninjago City.

Yeah DP x Ninjago Crossover time!

Basically, this Ninjago world worked similarly to my OC world, where there was a fifth elemental weapon of creation, except this one was either a staff or a spear? My brain couldn’t decide I guess.

Danny was the next “Elemental Master of Spirit”, and he was offered the ninja position by Sensei Wu. Danny has hazy memories of what led to him being reborn, but accepts, because he wants to do better in this world. He joins the ninja team, he’s like the silver or gray ninja (brain doesn’t like too many details I guess)

it’s a really fun basis for a crossover I might write one of these days, maybe after I finish hey, runner (which I AM working on slowly but surely)

Okokok I'm back with more because I just realized how alike Danny and Lloyd are.

So imagine, Danny ends up in a new world for strange reasons (reveal went wrong, accidental portal, whatever you want) and He encounters someone uncomfortably similar to his phantom form. he learned that is Lloyd Garmadon, the green ninja, and Danny can see from afar that he is not human.

Imagine the two, united by the trauma of being hybrids and as such a bridge between two or more worlds. And not only that, but they are also leaders at such a young age.

Danny is the ghost king, the great one.

Lloyd is the green ninja of the prophecy and grandson of the creator of ninjago.

They are both young people forced by circumstances to protect a world that hates them, either because of their blood (Lloyd or because of what they are (Danny).

I'll be back with more, now I'm pretty much obsessed with the idea.
