The way some people are reacting to the Oscar nominations, specifically in regards towards Barbie, and many other things surrounding it holds certain undertones, especially when they then start to go and deny America Ferrera's talent among other things, that are very concerning. Like let's not do that. Especially if you're writing an article for a newspaper (LA Times) that makes digs towards the other films and their nominees, mainly who were women, and say that that proves the point of Barbie. Even though the point of the film was that women have to work harder than men just to get their foot in the door, not about shaming other women, but I digress.

It's November 30th, ⚗️the Day of Remembrance for All Victims of Chemical Warfare. The United Nations (UN) and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) have recognized this annual event since 2005 as a way for everybody on the planet to pay tribute to the unfortunate victims of chemical warfare. The OPCW, with its 193 Member States, oversees the global effort to permanently and verifiably eliminate chemical weapons. 

Although the vast majority of nations have ratified the OPCW's Chemical Weapons Convention and either given up or destroyed their stockpiles of chemical weapons, Egypt, Israel, South Sudan, and North Korea have not and are suspected of possessing stockpiles. 

Syria has acceded to the convention, but nevertheless is known to possess a sizeable stockpile. In 2013, then-UN-Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon noted this in a speech as he condemned the nation for its alleged exploitation of chemical weapons in its ongoing civil war. He also urged "the international community to intensify efforts to rid the world of chemical weapons, along with all other weapons of mass destruction. Let us work together to bring all States under the Convention and promote its full implementation. Well…The twins were 100% a surprise Tank found out while out on a recon mission with Soap….

“Im nah” Soap looked at you puzzled. He was you could hear it over the aircon in the shitty motel room.
