So it's like 4 am and I was customizing a small, clear kid's purse that I had from a while ago. I was only doing this because it's clear AND small, which means if I bring it to a concert venue, it'd most likely be allowed in.

Since it was a kid's purse, I'm only saying this because it's low quality and came with a toy, it used Velcro to open and close it. I was like, "Ew, no. Too noisy and annoying", so I decided to remove it and replace it with a buttoning system.

Blah, blah, blah. I get rid of the Velcro and start on sewing on the button.

Now, I wasn't being as careful as I should have.

No thimble and slightly distracted.

DUDE, IT FELT LIKE IT WAS AFTER ME. I KEPT STABBING MY FINGERS WITH MY DARN SEWING NEEDLE. I was quite literally giving myself free acupuncture in the hands.

I have bad eyesight, I wear glasses, but it doesn't help in this case because I KEEP MISCALCULATING WHERE THE NEEDLE IS AND PRICK MY POOR FINGER.

I might not have a fear of needles now, but instead a burning rage-lit fire burning within me.

MY HANDS WILL GET REVENGE!

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

literally fuck companies that don't want their employees to act "unprofessional" in front of customers. I'm at a five guys rn and the employees here are joking around calling orders back and forth to each other and saying things in weird voices and laughing with each other while they work. Someone just came in for their shift while I was waiting for my food and was greeted by the whole kitchen with a secret handshake lookin thing. It was so silly and cute I love seeing ppl have fun at work and I know my food's gonna be bomb bc the ppl there are having fun with each other. Let employees be people and friends and have fun what is the issue!!!!
