i've recently rewatched 4x01 and 4x02 and i still can't understand what logan has against gerri... did i miss something? in 4x02 he said something along the lines of "but without gerri", why? and why do you think roman has to knife her? what the hell is going on?

i mean there are a couple slight indications of where logan's thinking might be in regards to gerri in the first two episodes, they're just quick moments, so may not stand out as much as the other big moves going on!

the two big pieces to me are a) he's still holding a grudge about the dick pic incident (he hangs her out to dry until the last possible moment in 3x09 to make her sweat, then is still digging at her for it all these months later in 4x01) and b) when the gojo deal goes through, she's not going to be an employee of his any more (in 4x02 they sort of confirm that hugo/frank/karl/gerri are all positioned to continue on as gojo/waystar employees, while logan will take his atn spin-off and continue with tom/greg/cyd/kerry). i think the combination of those two factors lead him to see her as an adversary, and we’ve seen historically how he treats people that he perceives as his enemies. 

as far as why roman has to get involved, like i said in this other ask, i think he’s either using roman as a tool to try and embarrass or punish her, or he’s pitting roman against her to make roman prove his loyalty and/or prove that he’s not interested in her anymore (or both at the same time! lol!)

billie eilish has done a lot for the vocal fry girlies i'll admit. when bad guy came out it felt good to see people so into a song where this teenage girl croaks like a frog because that's how I sound too lmao. I don't even dislike her music, I think she has several really good songs. but as an edgy indie pop enjoyer it is hard to accept that she was only able to "change" popular music because of her parents' money and meanwhile the artists who actually inspired her/came first will never get the same radio play or mainstream attention. maybe it's for the best in some cases (I get the sense aurora is quite satisfied with her level of fame) but can you imagine a world where music like this tops the charts as easily as billie does... it could be beautiful...

con weekend is officially over (sob) but it was a surprising success!!! i managed to find four super cute sunday charms, plus a silly lil sunday plushie, two more ajax pins for my ita bag, and a dabi keychain!! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡

my elden ring experience today consisted of finishing a bunch of questlines and coming to the realisation that there's apparently only 1 ending for each npc when their story is over and that is to be dusted into oblivion lol

My fear is that roman is going to start internalizing a lot of logan's beliefs and attitudes, and he's going to take them out on gerri, just like logan did :(

so funny that you say that because i can see it going that way, but i also thought after watching the trailer "oh ken is going to go full logan huh" – between some of the stuff we're seeing (him getting physical with roman, yelling at rava, taking more prominent/aggressive lead with matsson, him wearing a full waystar jacket with a brightstar cruises patch (!!!) on the chest) and just, like, narratively as the lead, feels like a road they would take him on

or maybe the gag is that all three of the main kids start becoming more and more like logan and take it out on the people closest to them

My therapist asking me if I had a youtube channel for general cancer info last week honestly got me thinking. Professionally I AM a cancer educator and my audience is other healthcare professionals, but god so daunting to think of presenting to audiences larger than 50 or so at a time :S it has always been a passion to digest high level research and then translate it into understandable language - - I do it a lot for family+friends dealing with ominous or confusing medical news. Idk! He put it really well when he said even my "basic" knowledge can help people better understand some of the most life-altering medical realities affecting them.

worst part of being a huge vs fan is that while i have this whole space in my brain dedicated to phoenix and hershel’s relationship during the seven year gap influenced by both series, i don’t know how to casually reference it without the majority of readers being like professor layton????????????
