Similar, yes. I wanted to play on the arrogant side of Reed by having him essentially say “hey, this cosmic ray siphon that would be highly dangerous if my calculations are even slightly off? I’m gonna activate it in the middle of a city.”

While it looks like a regular skyscraper from the outside, the top floors of the Baxter Building are only accessible to the four of them because the molecules are completely unstable.

Of all time? Dang, uhhh.... first that comes to mind is Takeshi Obata, who drew Death Note and Bakuman. But for western comics, gosh - I really like Sara Pichelli’s work? Old Romita stuff is great. A lot of the Spidey artists over the years really, but I’m biased. I feel like I’m blanking on somebody really obvious.

If you want an off-field pick, Kelley Jones’ Batman art is top tier. If they make a Spider-Verse style movie of Batman, I want his work to be one of the main influences.

They didn’t, so much. They go to the same school and I think Eddie crushed on Peter a little from afar, but he’s really just a tragic pawn in the Symbiote’s obsession. Viewing the black suit story as a toxic breakup, I see this version of Eddie as someone being used solely to get at Peter. An innocent who is thrown into the deep end of all the built up trauma and monster stories.

Thank you!! Harry would become a bad guy for a bit. He’s real hurt and confused by everything that happens and aims that pain at Peter. But he can heal, with time and the right company.

Somnus the Startouched Recluse

"Before a Beetle can fly it must first crawl, gather what it needs, before it undergoes metamorphosis. Likewise I gather knowledge, and though it can now submit my body to its own transformation - that of metal. So I too will be free to sour beyond our naturalborn limits."

Somnus: A unusual elf living in recluse, disinterested in the tensions between men and elves. Surrounded by strange metal devices of his own making, he dubbed "Simulackin", Somnus has spend his long life studying the mysterious and unknown, using magics in tandem with his technological wonders to gaze into the devide between what is living and constructed, and perhaps find a way link them.

He is usuallly unreachable, residing beyond a strange door of light, which appears as solitary archway in Xadia when not in use. Those few who have met, Somus (such as Jaster) speak of him as a respectful, if detatched, man who shows great concerned for the state of the world when it is imperiled, yet holds the view that the world as a series of predetermined events.

Can someone willing to replace his own healthy flesh will metal truly be understood by the wider world?

My Dragon Prince Characters - Refined

Vincent

A devoted knight errant of Eveare who has travelled the length of the Human Kingdoms. Infamous for being a pragmatic fighter, willing to use brutal tricks to win in battle. Hated by Xadia as “The Red Knight” while the Human side praise him as one of their finest warriors. 

Off the battlefield Vincent is truly just a resigned, battleworn, soldier who holds little, if any, pride for his elf-slaying accolades. When word of his Queens death reached him he was immediately suspicious, knowing from personal experience Moonshadow Elves are not made of smoke. 

Though he tried to convince the vengeful armies rallied under Prince Kasef to rein in their wrath his warnings mostly fell on deaf ears. None the less he followed them into Xadia hoping to convince more of reason, only to witness the vile spell which turned misguided warriors into maddened beasts. Racing ahead of them he joined the unprecedented alliance which had formed around the spire, where he would grant his former comrades a first hand demonstration as to why they dubbed him the red knight.

Sabbath 

Once Sabbath was assured of Humankinds inferiority to Elfkind, until he lost one of his horns to the Red knight, the humbling act puttijg a end to his arrogant worldview. The death of the Dragon King, only further convinced him that a full blown war with humanity would be a costly one best avoided even as tensions mounted. 

Though he is senior to Janai, Sabbath has seen her mettle more then enough times to know she was more then deserving of her rank, and deferred to her when they marched to the Storm Spire to protect it finding himself standing shoulder to shoulder with the knight who had taken his hoen, but earned his respect, against the evil which threatened it.

Jaster is a skilled and cunning tracker armed with many trick tools, and minor earthblood spells, who has secretly crossed the continental divide many times to complete the assignments given to his order of EarthBlood Elves.
