Mirrorwatch Captain Amélie Lacroix Headcanons

Rebelling from her rich conservative parents and seeking to honor the family legacy as hunters she joined the Chasseurs Alpins/Alpine Hunters in the French military where she became a sniper.

She met Gérard while he was communicating with the French military on behalf of Overwatch, the two hit it off and he eventually motivated her to join Overwatch.

She was part of Overwatch's Blackwatch division as their resident sniper.

Did get a little bit of experimental medical procedures done to her willingly hence the one yellow eye. She doesn't regret it at all.

Has a lot of tattoos underneath her uniform, including a large spider web on her back. She likes reclaiming her body from her family like this.

That said, she does have a fear of spiders in day to day life, especially when they're moving.

Imagine a pinecone as heavy as a bowling ball and the size of a chihuahua. Believe it or not, such pinecones exist—and they belong to the coulter pine (Pinus coulteri), a conifer that can be found in parts of North America including California and Mexico. Infamous among loggers and foresters, this tree is nicknamed "the widowmaker" because of the unlucky individuals who met their fate as a result of its falling pinecones. This species produces the largest pinecones on the planet, weighing up to 11 lbs (5 kg)!
