Was recently working on a sub-species for Rainworld, the Gale Deer. Its meant to be a cousin of the regular deer but meant to survive sub-zero temperatures. Its REF is nearly finished! ❄️

Sub Species inspired dice box! Weathered by me and I did the fabric too - originally from The Dice Shop Online. Two of the dice were re-inked by me too. This is inspired by my OC Shoe, who's a Junker!

Some bonus pics of it with my Invitation inspired dice box, which I did far more work on as it started out as a standard wooden box XD those rocks are hand sculpted!

Hi I was wondering what u think a female night fury be like ? Do you think like most birds they’re bigger than the males or have you got something else in mind ? Love to hear your thoughts ^^

Personally my take on the female night fury is that it is bigger than the male, with a few minor differences with ear nubs/leg spikes and stuff. I’m mainly basing that off reptiles where a lot of the time the female is bigger, but other than that there isn’t much in terms of sexual dimorphism. That being said there are a lot of examples of male reptiles being bigger than the female of the same species, but eh, it’s a fictional flying lizard, who cares.

Hello, I was wondering what criteria you personally use to decide if something is a species or a subspecies?

I quite like Kevin de Queiroz's recent take on the matter, so I will refer you to him. There has been quite a bit of subsequent discussion, some of which I agree with, some of which I think is a bit moronic.

TL;DR: They should be treated as a difference of degree, not of kind, and can conveniently be used to capture the grey zone that we know characterises the incipient stages of speciation.

I'm convinced the reason so many writers, especially certain male writers (Aaron), have a hard time writing Namor is bc they never lean into the fact that he's a Byronic Anti Hero Prince, which comes with a touch of tragic romanticism that they ignore. This is why we need more romance writers in comic writing jobs bc they fundamentally have to understand their characters to make their stories work. Romances are extremely character driven & so are good comics. Great action can't replace great characterization. Some of the best comics I've read have always been those that transform or push a character into new heights or deeper into themselves while still staying true to who they are.
