17. What's a book, movie, or show you think [character] would like?

You didn't mention a character so I'm just going to list off some Supergirl characters and what I would recommend to them and hope I get the right one (tbf you probs meant Kara or Lena but I want to do the other characters).

Kara: to Kara I would recommend She-Ra and the Princesses of Power so she can escape into a world of fantasy whilst healing her inner child.

Lena: for Lena I would recommend Blackadder for some dry comedy to help her take life less seriously (whilst being old enough that it feels sophisticated).

Alex: for Alex it's gotta be Killing Eve, a sapphic woman working for a secret government organisation? I think she could relate.

Kelly: Grey's Anatomy I feel like she would enjoy the drama and the trauma of it all, plus her wife is in it!

Nia: for Nia it has to be Hot Fuzz I just think she would love it.

Brainy: idk if there's anything on earth that Brainy hasn't seen or read, I'd probably recommend him a self help book on dealing with emotions.

20. When did you first join Tumblr? How long was it between that and finding [fandom]?

I think I first joined tumblr in around 2017, believe it or not this account was originally a studyblr, but I gave up on making that a thing pretty quickly. I discovered supercorp in 2019 and in 2020 I dug up my old tumblr account, deleted my old posts and started posting again (but fandom stuff this time) and the rest is history.

⚝ so i've made this studyblr blog to document my own studying journey and hopefully to start motivating me to study and fall in love with the process!!

⚝ i'm 16, scottish, and, as of last friday (19th april 2024), have just finished my penultimate year at secondary school, and am about to sit my exams for my sqa highers!!

⚝ my favourite subject in school is physics and i'm soon going to be applying to university to study astrophysics !!

⚝ i've been obsessed with space since forever, in my old house i even had one of my bedroom walls painted to look like space complete with galaxies and constellations so it's always been my area of interest and i'd love to use this blog to meet people whose interests align with mine or even study astrophysics and want to give me tips (would be much appreciated!!!)

⚝ other than physics, in school next year i will be studying maths and computer science, and this past year i also studied chemistry and spanish

⚝ outside of school, i've been involved in youth theatre since 2017 and acting is a big passion of mine and was my number one career choice up until recently. my biggest interests are music (music means everything to me), and cringe late-2010s stuff like dan and phil, homestuck, steven universe, sanders sides etc etc because i dont know how to move on from the past lmao

⚝ my fav music artists are my chemical romance, pierce the veil, OLD!!!! p!atd, hozier, tally hall, and just to continue the nostalgia theme, i also love the oh hellos, dodie, aurora and set it off and so many other artists PLEASE talk to me about music

A bit of a reflection on this blog. I have been a part of the studyblr community for years - I think I made this in 2017 when I was motivating myself for my A Levels, and this blog has followed me through that and my degree which I finished 2 years ago now! It's mad and humbling looking back and I know I was never the most avid poster but this blog has followed me through all of this. Now, I pay taxes and I work but I've been drawn back here more and more lately and thinking about how to use this to reflect my life now.

As many of you might know, I studied a masters in physics and I now work but I've got some reasonable free time! SO! I am planning on pursuing another academic goal and that is to try and put some effort into learning German :) this has been a goal of mine for many years and now I'm not burned out I feel like I can go after this goal

I also have started jounrlaling again and I've had a bullet journal for a few years so I'd like to start sharing some of the creative outlets I've been using with this community :)

Hello again!

I stumbled over the studyblr community back in 2016 (2017?) when I was in the middle of high school and trying to get a hang of who I am and what I like. It was the first time that I discovered the love and inspiration I derived from this type of content and it made my early academia journey just so much more special. Now, 6 years later, I am no longer 17 and and in high school. Instead, I am 23 and in my last year of university about to graduate with a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (how did that even happen)! In the meantime a lot has happened that changed who I thought I was and wanted. Life got busy and I forgot about this amazing community and platform. Now that I am so close to the end of my academic journey (something I will definitely resume at some point later in life), I wanted to document my last 2-3 months of uni and share my days, as well as, rediscover how studyblr is looking like nowdays.

Maybe this my content will inspire some aspiring engineers, maybe it will motivate me to get on with my work , maybe I'll be able to reconnect with what I once loved and maybe I'll just document these moments for when I will miss them most.

Rant over, thank you for your attention. Now I should get cracking with my Risk & Reliability assignmnent I have procrastinated to the last minute...

Well let’s do some story time, how it started with the studyblr and study gram community.

•During my academic years at uni, study gram contents helped me so much, you know those people who share their progress, wether it is for exams, tests, certification, fitness,etc. How they worked so hard, how they motivated themselves, how they learn from their mistakes, how they succeed. I feel less overwhelmed when I struggle, and because of that I want to work even harder 😋 The community is very supportive, I always remember @ways of study who gave me her tips on how to learn law subjects on a short period of time(business law) on my private account, back in 2017, and YES it was really effective 🤗

•@ondo_ is and @nami are my inspiration, their dedication and zeste of life remind me that we are where we need to be. Take it day by day🌱

Воу, перший пост в цьому блозі з 2017 року.

Тоді я навчалася на дипломата і використовувала тамблер, щоб було де зберігати корисні лінки для курсових й надихатися фоточками тих, чиє життя естетичніше за моє. За цей час я встигла: успішно закінчити універ, змінити професію, місто, характер, стосунки, гардероб; стати переселенкою вдруге; захопитися новими гобі, кинути їх, повернутися до старих.

Зробила акк в тві півроку тому, але, в світлі останніх подій: 

Тож знайшла свій старий studyblr та й вирішила вести бложег тепер тут. Після слова “бложег” ви можете навіть здогадатися, наскільки я стара.
