Following the success of Tim Burton’s film adaptation of the character, Warner Bros. Animation brought the character into a gorgeous and timeless Art Deco version of Gotham City, and using villains from the entire run of Batman’s history (including a few new ones, like Harley Quinn, who made her debut appearance on this show in 1992). Bruce Timm & Eric Radomski - along with writing of Paul Dini - crafted arguably one of the most iconic versions of the Dark Knight to date.

It also, very importantly, standardized the style of music and the importance of it in serialized, animated storytelling, especially in the DC Animated Universe, which followed with Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and many other landmark titles in the 90s.

We’ve carefully curated 16 of our favorite full episode scores from the hit show (remastered for vinyl), and put them together in a beautiful Box Set, with unique, brand new artwork for each episode by Justin Erickson of Phantom City Creative.

Gets Xiu Ya reforged but patently fucking refuses to make a sword mound. Because his disciple Is Not Dead :))) There was No Body. He's Not Dead. And If You keep Insisting That He Is, He's Gonna Skewer You :). He's holding onto Xiu Ya so he can return his most favored disciple's sword when he returns. It's on his hip right next to Zheng Yang where it's supposed to be.

Also this motherfucker?? does not sleep btw. He has the image of SQQ, wide eyed and hysterical and standing at the mouth of the abyss burned into his fucking eyelids. Can't use the dreamscape to escape it either because he keeps trying to save him and either he does and it's an incredibly cruel trick to wake up to, or he doesn't and he gets his heart broken in several different pieces again.

There is no convincing this man that Shen Qingqiu is dead. Absolutely nothing at all. He is buried so deep in denial that moles would be jealous of how deep he is. He keeps making tea for two in the bamboo house only to remember that it's just him. SQQ's fans are hiding everywhere, little reminders of his presence. He goes to wake up SQQ on the mornings he sleeps in-- only to find the room empty.

dsmp is still SO insane to me. still not completely convinced it wasn't a social experiment. it is something that can never be replicated again due to the really specific circumstances that attributed to it's creation and popularity

heyy I was just wondering why they live streamed on younow back in the day? could you not do that on youtube?

youtube live wasn't available when they signed on with younow in 2012 (live streaming was available to creators with 1,000 subs in mid 2013)

BUT they stuck with younow for so many years because they were two of the top creators on the platform and were probably able to negotiate their contracts really well considering their fanbase and loyalty and also apparently had a really good relationship with their younow reps (like phil would just call them mid show if there was an issue)

also just...they were making a truly insane amount of money for just sitting and chatting for an hour a week. in the peak years, it was estimated they were making around £2,000 per liveshow (not only were they partnered and signed with the platform itself, they also got paid for every single premium message they opened...and like...think about how many premium messages they answered back in the day). they also got a cut every time someone tipped them bars (idb discussion talking about how dan's top 3 fans had all tipped him over 130k bars which was approximately £1,000)

younow was starting to go downhill after awhile and i do think them streaming on the gaming channel in 2017 (after they had that huge deal with youtube red for the tatinof doc/fim) was a test run of switching to youtube live but it had sooo many issues. they did change it so that their younow streams were directed to youtube as well though!

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

Today on Stream we talked about the new game! As we drew Zelda!

We think Zelda should hit Ganondorf with a Steel Chair! :D

Now, I'm gonna be honest, I don't care for the Color Pallet. I don't think it works, the Link and the blue don't really look great together!

So we made a blue version, as well as a version with the Pink, but if the colors worked together!

My Pink one is a bit more purple and the blue cape is darker, but tbh rn I feel like Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty yelling "Make it Blue!"

Here is our Rabbit Hole.

From what we saw from Link, this is most likely the Hero of Legend coming back to Hyrule after Link's Awakening! (Yay! He survived!) But then getting Kidnapped after freeing Zelda!

You can see our rabbit hole on which colors would look better together as well as our realization that Legend and Fable are most likely Color Blind.

I hate this “new” way of doing tv shows. Plots shrunk down to be crammed into 8 half hour long episodes per season is bullshit. Give me 20-24 episode seasons back. Give me filler episodes where nothing important to the main plot happens but we learn more about the characters. Give me bottle episodes, flashbacks, give me ANYTHING. I cannot fully connect with a character in TV show format when you don’t SPEND ANY TIME WITH THEM. Make a movie if that’s what you want. But stop canceling shows before they have a chance to even START to gain a fanbase.

I had a dream about ctommy and cwilbur sitting together and talking about how weird it is that their story had been put on pause. They keep waiting and waiting for the plot to continue but nothings happening, their days stay peaceful and uneventful. Wilbur says that’s not how it’s meant to be while Tommy responds with “Well then why am I aging then? Why are we changing if it’s supposed to be on pause?” And then the dream morphed into some other unrelated thing but I’m still thinking about this…
