💲First Meeting💲 

💲He first met you was on pure accident. Just knowing you existed by visiting Haru and dropping off a few files. You had a simple puff with an F/C bandana that complemented your black suit and skin. First off, he was confused as to why a beautiful woman was talking to Haru, especially with a kind smile and gaze.

💲He was determined to meet you and took the opportunity when Haru needed to visit your department. So you weren’t just his friend, but you also worked as a detective. 

💲“Oh you’re attractive.” Blurting the first thing you came to mind, Daisuke didn’t mind. It wasn’t the first time someone complimented his appearance. “I can say the same to you.” After hearing that, you had quickly dragged Haru away. Both furiously whispering to each other. 

💲 “I thought he was gay!”

💲“Why would you think that!?” You motioned to Haru and then Daisuke (as they weren’t always together, excuse you for sensing bl vibes). Daisuke couldn’t help but chuckle to himself as he eavesdropped on your conversation. After a few minutes, Haru dragged you back and left you alone, saying he needs some water and to wait for him, and they would go out to lunch.

💲“Kambe Daisuke, but you can call me Daisuke.” You nodded and shook his hand. Which was the start of a new friendship.  

💲Realizing his feelings💲

💲How often you refused to let him pay for you, whether it be because it was far too expensive or you wanted to feel independent. All of your meetings and hangouts, Haru was involved, and it started to annoy him deeply. Where would you sit at a table? Near the wall beside Haru. Where would you sit? In the backseat. When you all would visit a house for dinner? Haru’s house it was.

💲Even though you both called yourself friends, you hardly even texted. When he thought about you, he would check his heart rate and temperature always feeling like he could burn up when he thought about you. He ignored these feelings for the longest time until you offered him to hang out without Haru.

💲“I have this party coming up, would you like to go with me?”

💲“Will Haru be there?”

💲“No, it’ll just be us-”

💲“Ill pick you up.” After that, he just walked away, but he did pick you up in a lavish car and in a nice black suit that matched your skin-tight black dress. Your hair in an afro with gold jewelry. It was an eventful evening. Most people were formal, and the ballroom had quiet chatter, to the dancing and music, but at random moments you would make jokes, trying to make Daisuke laugh. 

💲Whenever you got him to laugh out loud, you would tell him to shush for being disrespectful, with a playful stare. Then it started whenever there was a serious conversation with someone. He would pinch your side, making you yelp and fumble over your words as you apologized and excused yourself, glaring at him while he had a cocky smirk. 

💲He even handed over a small earpiece so you could always talk, more out of fear you’d get kidnapped, but whenever you had to split apart, and you saw him talking to someone, you would crack a joke, and watch him struggle to hold in a laugh.  This soon became an everyday thing.

💲In the worst moments out in public, you would crack a joke and watch him struggle, while whenever you were doing something, he’d pinch you and act as if nothing happened.

💲Confessing💲

💲What led him to confess was that every time, a woman or man would ask you out and ask if you had a partner, and you would say no. He wanted you your partner but wanted to ask you in a romantic way, which led him to ask Haru for help. 

💲“You need help? From me?” Haru was the cockiest he’s ever been, only getting this cocky whenever he had beaten you in a game or dodged something you chucked at him.

💲“Just help me,” Haru instructed him to ask you on a picnic date, where you could act like yourself without the glances from people inside a restaurant. Daisuke had made sure the weather was perfect, that he had the clearest spot underneath a tree on a small hill. Making sure you were both completely alone. 

💲Wearing his normal attire and you with high-waisted jeans and an F/C turtleneck, seeing it was fall. You both started eating and making small talk and getting to know each other. Just as the lamp post came on, you dragged him to his feet and played some music on the speaker you brought, and danced with him.

💲Little did you know, he planned fireworks. His hands resetting on your waist, your hands around his neck. Your eyes on the fireworks, while his eyes remained on you. “I like you, Y/N,” Daisuke spoke in a soft whisper, his lips pressing against yours.

“Sorry.” Haru sighed as you sat with entwined fingers beside Daisuke. Both sat inside a small cafe, just telling Haru. Though even with his glare, and threatening if Daisuke hurt you, he fights him. before humans were even around, shiklah and her family ruled the monster world. but the vampires wanted to overthrow their family. cue a war that lasted centuries and saw the coming of man. aka a long ass fucking war. my poor baby.

during the war against the vampires, shiklah’s kingdom had fallen, and her and her father witnessed the deaths of shiklah’s two brothers.

her father, in a,,,,, stroke of,,,, genius? well. a stroke of something. decided to lock shiklah up in a sarcophagus for. however long it’d take until the war ended or until she was going to be wed. surprise surprise.

well. dracula decides to hire deadpool to go wake up shiklah. so they could be married and end this long ass war and finally have peace. things were going fine until deadpool gets into a fight with a minotaur and shiklah’s sarcophagus shatters, awakening her and bug.

IV. MODERN INFORMATION: //

in her short period of time being awake in the modern world, shiklah was nearly assassinated by blade, was captured by hydra, and captured by aim, both of which wanted to exploit her powers and experiment on her.

she also fell in love with wade who taught her how to acclimate to the modern world, about technology, and about popular culture

when humans brutally murdered a centuries-old monster who resided in monstropolis, an elder monster who was completely senile and not a threat to anyone, shiklah sort of. snapped. she tried to handle things with civility at first, going in front of the courts and asking for retribution for the cold blooded murder of her loyal friend.

when the courts laughed in her face and told shiklah that monsters aren’t protected under the criminal code, she realized humans really are horribly discriminatory, and declared war against them.

to stop shiklah from killing. everyone. wade went to get dracula, who came to find shiklah and proposed. the two were also married and shiklah took a temporary leave of her duties to pursue their relationship and learn how to rule as a fair ruler, not a forceful one. she realized she didnt like using her powers to rule her own citizens by force. proud of you, baby girl.

i wont bore you with all of my myriad historical head canons about shiklah’s life before her millennia long sleep, they’ll probably come up as flashbacks in her threads anyhow, plus theres so  much time there to fill in that i’m sure shiklah will also tell me things as time goes on

what’s important to know about this though is that shiklah is, in many ways, very traditional. she loves donning a maid outfit and cleaning her entire palace. shes a forceful female ruler who’s still subjected at times to her thousands of years old preconceived notions of gender roles

she loves to party. she’s admitted to wade before that she throws parties with her monster friends all the time — one’s that are orgy ceremonies actually

she eats humans, particularly in her war form. it’s cool  

she’s pretty naive to the ways of the modern world. wade fills her in on stuff, but it’s also wade, lmao. her perception of things in the modern era is very biased towards deadpools own views on things

she’s adorable sometimes? like. super scary evil murder demon baby who cracks jokes about the kardashians.

shes evil towards humans but she is a fair and just ruler to monsters. she doesn’t like asgardians because apparently her people were enslaved by them during a conflict thousands of years ago. this issue though was sort of resolved when her cousin jenny was tricked into starting a fight with jane foster, and the two ended up reconciling and becoming close

but she respects the inhumans and she respects mutants, especially ones whose powers altered their physical appearance

tbh she wants to mom every monster looking kid

she reads comics in the bath like a cutie

she also goes to conventions, especially comic conventions, where people think shes dressed in cosplay. their reaction to her answer, “no, this is just the human skin i’m wearing for the day,” is her favourite thing

she loves bug more than anything else

consequently she loves sex almost as much as bug

she has a son she adopted, a five year old little demon sorcerer who she named cathan (in honour of the elder god, c’thon). he’s a little monster baby who uses his shapeshifting demon powers to stay in a werewolf humanoid demon form — because he was raised by wolves before shiklah rescued him

as a ruler of one of the dimensions of the underworld i imagine she also knows the other hell leaders such as dormammu, the hellstroms, mephisto, etc. but also other hellfire users like ghost rider.

shes evil but she has a big heart for the people she cares about. she has a bad tendency of prioritizing her needs and wants over what the people she loves needs or wants but she’s actively working on that, too

shes full of juxtapositions? which is why i love her. shes cunning in some ways but naive in others. shes evil to some but a darling to others. shes a war demon but also a housemaid. shes so complicated and diverse and i can’t wait to write her with you all!!!

I think one of the main problems with the relationships in this show is that there’s no lead up and no development, they just immediately love each other. Like with Rick and Michonne, we had seasons of lead up, but not with these two. The writers of this are capable of writing good relationships, they just chose to drag these two heteros into the main stage without giving them any backstory in the beginning.

Like the concept of being in a huge city during the beginning was great, but we didn’t really get very much of that. The first few episodes especially when Travis was trying to get Chris and was stuck in that barber shop was great. Like that’s one of the few episodes of this that really stick in my mind. Honestly, the relationship between Nick and Strand was really great.

In this au, that belongs to @princeanxious, Roman and Logan are vampires, while Patton and Virgil are humans. The ships are Roman/Patton and Logan/virgil. Although it is unknown at the moment how roman and Patton met, I would like to say this was before they were dating, but after they met. Now, shall we begin?

Patton was sliding leg-warmers on as,Virgil sat across from him in the living room Patton owned.

"Are you going to the gym?" Virgil asked as he eyed the out of fashion fabric Patton had no hesitation putting on.

"Yep!" Was the happy reply.

A smirk graved virgil's face. "Are you actually going to work out, or stare at him?"

"Yep!" Patton admitted as he also slid on matching workout armbands, and a head band.

Virgil smiled at the sight before him. Patton was stuck hard for the boy. A 'charming' fellow. Honestly, Virgil had no idea what this guy looked like, but Patton was happy, and if this guy kept him that way, well...who was he to complain?

Patton skipped to the door. "Ill see you in a few hours!" As he closed the door behind him, Virgil called.

"Ask his number!"

Roman,fixed his hair in the gaint wall mirror. He looked at his outfit and hummed."I should have worn the tighter shorts..." He commented to himself. He saw the door open in the mirror, and in walked the most adorable human he had ever seen. His thick glasses gave him away, well, that and the rainbow leg warmers and...everything else really. Either Prince cutie was gay or really into rainbows. Roman was hoping both.

Roman quickly began to lift some of the 15 pound weights he had gotten out for a warm up, and made sure to flex as much as possible. He kept an eye on the glasses boy in the mirror as much as he could.

He held back a laugh as he once agian went to the jump rope, and proceeded to act like a child with it.

Patton had seen the charming prince when he walked in, but he was busy lifted what looked like heavy weights, so he decided not to bother him. He loved to jump rope, and it was an exercise he actually enjoyed doing. He has jumped forwards, backwards, crisscross, everything he could think of.

He loved watching the cute charming boy, but when he heard the laugh he let out? about what he was laughing at, he wasnt sure, bur the sound was heavenly.

And Patton tripped on the jump rope.

Roman had seen Patton fall, the Jump rope around his feet.He stood, careful to put the weights back quickly, and walked over. He extended a hand to the floored cutie.

"Hello there fair prince, may I offer you some assistant?" He gave him a closed mouth smile, the most dashing one he could. The glasses cutie blushed the most lovely shade of pink, and,let out a giggle. A giggle of all things! Adorable.

"I would like that." Glasses took roman's hand, who helped untangle the rope from his feet.

Roman smiled once agian. He was able to talk to glasses! Speaking of which, he should get his name.

"Kind prince so fair." Roman took one of patton's hands." I happen to be in need of a spotter, if you happen to be free.,may I ask for you to assist me, Roman?"

Patton giggled agian. "Well i dont know much about spotting, but if it is spotting a cute guy, I think i found one. I'm Patton."

Roman was,nearly floored. This angel had the most amazing name, Patton! And above all, he called Roman cute. But he had to keep his focus! When winning the love of another, you must stay vigilant!

"Pattond what a lovely name. Although I happen to have also spotted a cute boy, I was hoping you wouls help me on a different kind of spotting."

Patton was nervous and excited all at once. Roman was such a sweetheart! He only hoped that he could get a date.

Patton had never spotted before. Ever. But Roman seemed confident a she put some weights on the bar. Patton didnt bother to check as he stood at the middle of the bar.

"Now, my hands go here," Roman stated as he laid on the bench, putting his hands on the bar." and yours will go right next to mine- ni the other way- yes. Right there. You just make sure I dont hurt myself and watch me ok?"

Patton held onto the bar ans gave a nod."alright, I'm ready."

Patton couldnt help it. The small talk with Roman was great, he loved it! But he couldnt resist. He had too.

As Roman was pushing the weights up, Patton said it.

"Well you really have LIFTed my expectations."

Roman stopped, arms strsight in the arm, staring st Patton, then he started laughing. He barely got the bar back on the pegs as he sat up and smiled at Patton.

"Patton, that was hilarious. Cute and funny? You are prefect." He smiled.

Patton returned the smile. "If you think im perfect, you should try my rainbow cupcake surprise. The surprise is melted chocolate on the inside."

Roman gave a nod."I might have too sometime."

Patton wiggled a bit as he nods."is...Thursday at 7 good? I dont open until 8."

Roman gave the dashing smile agian."i would love that."

It was only once Roman got home that he realized it was a date.

And done! So ir snot perfect, but I tried. I couldnt remember what roman's vampire power was, so..I ignored it. I did what I could with a gym because I honestly dont know what people in the gym do. I also don't remember if vampires can eat normal food in this au or not, so...pretending that they can, but if proven wrong, that will be fine.

Although I do not know how Roman and Patton meet, I based this off the ides that for some reason, they dont know esch others names. Hope you enjoyed @princeanxious @limitsofeternityau

Soft Kiss | CollegeAU Chen Linong

Notes: So I used to write these scenarios things for other groups when I was like freaking 12 or 13 when I had the writing skill of a bad middle schooler and the relationship experience of nothing but really cliche romance animes. But now I’m 18 so let’s see how this goes lol. Also my first scenario writing in like 4 years pls go easy on me. okay so i get nongnong is the soft shy boy but I think we can give him a lot more credit to think he'll take some initiative.

not saying boy would be full ‘in charge’ but I think he can really be confident in his feelings once he's confident in himself

SO i wrote this because there are too many ‘soft boy nongnong doesn’t know how to relationship’ or ‘too shy to tell you how he feels uwu’

welp im here to show a little more forward but still sweet nongnong

so buckle up cause i got real into this

okay, nongnong would probably fall in love with you from a far or being he's met you in group settings but never really had a one on one conversation with you

but he sees how cute your mannerism is when it comes to how you laugh with your friends or how you light up when you talk about something you're really passionate towards.

he notices these cute things about you just by watching

you and him have mutual friends like zhangjing and yanjun

yanjun being nongnong's roommate and you having to study english with him that’s how you guys meet

yanjun introduces you guys

at first, yeah nongnong thinks you’re cute and all but doesn't have that big of an impression on you

but his interest peeks when you spend the day 'studying' with yanjun

and by ‘studying’ I mean you guys only studied for the first hour before ordering food and started playing video games

nongnong hears yelling from outside his bedroom and he walks in to you guys playing mario cart and eating pizza

"wow yanjun" he says with a hint of pain in his voice

you both stop to look at him

"you guys dare to play my mario cart and not invite me???"

so obviously nongnong joins in on the fun

and while you guys play he starts to see how you are, beside from your brief introductions 

he realizes just how cute you are when you’re having fun

to your adorable reactions as you jump in your seat when you get hit with a shell or how antsy you get when yanjun dares to pass you into 1st place

in the end you constantly beat yanjun for first while he gets second and nongnong is just content with his stable 5th or 6th place because seeing your little victory dance and teasing of yanjun as you win everytime is enough for nongnong to feel like he's won

cause w o w he never knew he could come across someone as adorable as you

okay but that's just the surface of you guys path's crossing

you and zhangjing are best friends

but zhangjing and nongnong always get food before their history class so they can cram/get hw done last minute

zhangjing eats your food whenever he comes over your place

that damn freeloader

but you'll never actually stop him, rather you see opportunities for future food purchases from him.

so you're hungry as heck one day after class and you have no money

that's when you see your best friend rushing into one of the food places on campus

"hey zhangjing!!! buddy do you have any money on you :) "

"what why??"

"remember MY leftover pizza you ate in my fridge last weekend? :))))"

you pull out the receipts and he cant find an excuse so he reluctantly buys you food

you guys meet up with nongnong after and you recognize him

I mean how could you not

he wasn't that talkative but he was a sweetheart from what you remember

*cough* and not to mention was pretty cute *cough*

"oh hi y/n!"

nongnong lights up when he sees you

"you guys know each other??? dont you just stay inside all day, how do you know peo-”

you step on zhangjing foot hard enough so he can feel it but not hard enough for him to scream

and cue the explanation story of how you guys met to zhangjing

suprise zhangjing is good friends with yanjun too and grew up together

suprise suprise its a small world and you guys decide why not all of you hangout cause mutual friends?

the four of you then started to hangout

often had study sessions or more mario cart races as 4 people and you and nongnong got closer

nongnong, getting to know you fell in love with you even more and just really loved being around with you even tho you guys never spent time alone.

time was always spent together with either yanjun or zhangjing and he doesnt think he has any courage to even be in the same room with you alone

yanjun and zhangjing have figured out nongnong's painful obvious crush and try to help him out

zhangjing as your best friend definitely approves of nongnong cause at least he's a good kid unlike the flirt yanjun is

but anyway yanjan and zhangjing have enough of pinning nongnong and tell him he should just confess or you and his relationship will never change

he knows but he's scared

he's never dated let alone have his first kiss

he thinks its sad cause he's in college but relationships were never something he really sought out till he meet you

he never had his heart quicken so fast for someone, feel his stomach in constant knots or felt lost for words like this until he meet you

you caused all these bubbly feelings in him and he couldn't stand it, he had to tell you

nongnong decides to ask you to come over and hangout that weekend

yanjun gets kicked out but its okay cause him and zhangjing decide to hangout and spam nongnong cause they want all the updates

“yo 10 bucks he kisses her” zhangjing says while they wait for nongnong to text back

“pfft he won't do it”

“wow, doubting our nongnong”

“yeah I'm not even sure he'll go through with telling her”

“oh, if you're so sure how about raising the stakes and buy me whatever meal i want if im right”

”you’re on”

little does yanjun know, zhangjing is your best friend and he knows you

so you actually have a thing for nongnong too you’re just better at hiding it

like nongnong, you fell from the little interactions and observations

you thought it was endearing to see him always try and lighten up the mood when someone was down

or how he'd remember little things like yanjun and zhanjings favorite foods or drinks so he could get some for them when they seem to be down, eventually even doing this for you too

he gave you thoughtful advice and help when you needed it from someone besides your best friend

overall he was someone you wanted to depend on and fell for each and every time you saw him

when he asked you to hang out alone you're shocked

‘h o l y  c r a p  I've never hung out with him alone what do I do???’

you're a nervous mess but you don't want to pass up this opportunity

so you say yes

that weekend you get to his dorm and at first its very awkward

but nongnong tries super hard to lighten the mood by telling you funny stories about yanjun or doing silly things

you guys break out in laughter after listening to nongnong's story about how yanjun got a girls number only to give him a Chinese take out number and when he asked again about the ‘wrong number’ she gave him a different take out place

“I can't believe he asked again after she gave him a fake number the first time!” you laugh

“you gotta admit though it's clever she had another take out number on hand for the 2nd time”

you two are a mess of giggles and have closed the space there was previously between you 2 on the couch when you first got there

you didn't know when the two of you got so close but you and nongnong had your legs and arms brushed up against each other

every so often you would lean into nongnong's shoulders while you were in your laughing fits

and nongnong took notice to the distant and could literally feel his heart popping out of his chest

you obviously noticed the distance as well cause oh boy his smile from this close and his laugh humming in your ears made it feel like you were gonna die from how much it filled you up with this warm feeling

up close you notice little things like the cute mole right below his nose or the sweet but minty scent that probably comes from his shampoo or cologne

you both kinda come to a calm and eventually stop laughing

your eyes meet and that's when the heat rises into your cheeks and the butterflies in your stomach run loose cause his gaze into your eyes is so gentle looking

“hey y/n”

you die a little inside cause you've never heard him ever call out your name so softly like that

its timid and delivered sweetly like it was something fragile on the tip of his tongue but had a hint of fearfulness to it.

“y-yes” catching you off guard

he catches his breath

“I like you”

you kinda look at his serious expression and you're a little too shocked to say anything

nongnong sees the shock in your face and starts to panic

“oh god um- I didnt mean to scare you or anything but i just couldn't wait any longer to tell you cause you looked so cute so i just had to tell you- but it was so abrupt what was I thinking, you don't have to answer or a matter of fact you can just pretend this didnt happen if you wan-”

“I like you too!”

his panic halts and you see the visible red as his face heats up

“you do????”

“yes, I've actually liked you for awhile now”

cue nongnong's redness to increase tenfold and he breaks into that signature smile

“so does that mean if i asked you to be my girlfriend you'll say yes???”

you giggle out a ”mhm”

 and he's so happy he pulls you into a hug and you both break out into giggles

f i n a l l y  he could hold the big cutie that you were and call you his

nongnong holds you for quite some time while telling you how cute you are and goes on to list what makes you adorable

“the way your voice perks up with you get nervous or the way your giggle sounds so cuteeee” he goes on and you're heavily embarrassed

“nongnongggg please noooo” you're blushing so hard from the compliments you might actually die

he then lets you go and stops with the listing before he brings a hand to your cheek.

he runs circles with his thumb against your cheek and smiled ever so brightly

“im sorry its just- I've fallen so hard for someone as precious as you.”

man you're seriously gonna die from the sweetness of this boy

you then proceed to spend the rest of the night talking about when you started to like each other and finding that personalness you guys missed out on cause you never got the chance to hangout alone until today

later when you get ready to leave for the night nongnong stops you outside his door

“wait y/n before you go, can I hold you for a bit?”

u m  y e s

but in reality you just nod yes shyly before he pulls you into a hug where his big frame just sallows you up

hes so warm and sweet smelling when your face kinda presses into his chest

it’s the sheer definition of comfort and warmth and you never want to leave

once he lets go you wince a little cause the pleasant feeling of his embrace disappears

but before he entirely pulls away he plants a little kiss on your forehead

“goodnight y/n”

you say the same and you walk off literally stumbling and disoriented cause he's so precious your heart cannot comprehend it, you’re soft from this precious boy

nongnong probably texts yanjun and zhangjing in a group chat later that night

’guys i did it! I told her and now we're dating!!!’

zhangjing: ‘okay cool but did you kiss her???’

linong: ‘on her forehead i did’

zhanjing: ‘IT COUNTS, I CALLED IT’

yanjun: ‘FUCK'

yanjun’s wallet is then screwed

anyway after all this your relationship takes off

it starts out a little awkward but you guys start to adjust in time

Nongnong is constantly shy as heck when it comes to pda and holding your hand and thats all he can handle in front of other people

he can barely do that tho when yanjun and zhangjing constantly tease

but even though he's not blatant with his affection in public he’s still someone who tries to give subtle touches

to quick back rubs if you're walking side by side to when your arm rest on tables while you study he’ll lightly squeezes them while you work

he's tends to have trouble knowing what right words to say if you're upset or mad but is a great listener

he doesn't tend to get upset as easily as you would but when he does its a pretty big deal to you

he tries his best to not let any of his ill emotion get to him or let it out on you

and he tells you how he feels but often is really reluctant to talk unless you give him lots of convincing

he even likes to put on a smile for you like he's okay but you can tell he's not

he lets it build up so when he spills to you his feelings he tends to cry and holds on to you like his life depends on it

It’s hard for him to always keep a happy face so he really values these times

your touch and warmth calms him down when he breaks down like that

his affection maybe hard to convey in public but he lives for your embrace when it's just you 2

at first he always asked if it was okay to hug you or hold your hand

he wants to make sure you're comfortable

but you guys get to the point where he doesn't have to ask but naturally he just intertwines your fingers with his or cuddles up to you when you'd be sitting on the couch or his bed alone together

now kissing is a different story

at first he could only give you kisses on the forehead or your temple

progressively he started getting bolder sneaking pecks on the cheek or even lips (he apologized probably the first time he randomly kissed you on the lips but you gave him a quick kiss back and he died)

he constantly gives soft pecks because long kisses aren't something you have done yet

until one day

you're sitting on his couch watching a show when he nudges you a bit

you look at him and he moves in to plant small kisses on your forehead, to your nose your cheek and then softly your lips

doing this makes you giggle and he loves it to bits

Nongnong is gentle with kisses

kissing you so delicately like you'll break under his touch

he plants a soft kiss on your lips doing it again and again and again before the soft but fleeting kisses stop and he just doesn't pull away while kissing

he keeps his position and presses his lips onto yours just as delicately but it's far more passionate then the quick kisses from before

you're a little shocked cause you wouldn't expect him to kiss you like this but nevertheless it didn't stop you from kissing back

he presses into your lips slowly and tenderly while bringing his hands up to cup your face

the kiss is long but never rough just soft and sweet

you pull away and he's dazed before he can really comprehend what he did

“oh.” slips your mouth

“oh?”

“that was uh…”

“was it bad?”

“no it was good, um really good”

he lights up

long soft kisses are now your new killer 

especially when you’re caught off guard he tends to do them the most

He usually doesn’t try to get you flustered but he wants to do it once in a while

so he loves how flustered they get you because of the kisses and definitely plans on doing them more

so ultimately this boy is definitely gonna be the death of you

hey guess what I played Don’t Starve again and predictably continued to use only Webber and get fifty bazillion feels about Webber and hey u guys wanna hear me constantly talk about Webber

seriously its SO UNFAIR that this guy just exists as a character skin in some random survival procgen world game and NOBODY GETS ANY DAMN STORY yet they give us really tantalizing one line story summaries and the REALLY ENDEARING thing of each character having different dialogue for item descriptions. Which is also their ONLY GODDAMN DIALOGUE! why why why WHY did you make such a good story charrie concept thinger if you were never gonna use it GAHHHHH

okay so anyway THIS IS HE

WHAT A CUTIE PATOOT AMIRITE YO??

and he has SUCH AN INRIGUING AND SAD AND COOL PREMISE he’s the absolute champion of creepycute, cos he’s not only a spoopy spider monster with the innocence of a child but also literally he was a regular human child once who got the most tragic life ever his super short tantalizingly vague summary is ‘webber the indigestable’, and like.. all we know is that He Very Much Died, and Now He Is Spide he was killed by some spider monsters and came back as this spooky AF form

tho srsly man HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK YO like i’ve seen people drawing super grimdark fanart of him being like springtrap from five nights at freddies, i.e like he opens his mouth and he has a whole dessicated skull inside. like he’s quite literally walking around in the skin of the monster that ate him, however the fuck that’s supposed to work... I really don’t like that version, so WHATEVER lets have A BUNCH OF OTHER BUNNI THEORIES!

* It’s more like the spider absorbed the memories of the kid? Like, his bones are out there somewhere and its just that his conciousness was transferred into the thing that killed him/its got a case of mistaken identity and thinks that its him. * He’s sorta like a ghost that possessed it? Was trying so hard to survive that his soul lingered around, and it just works different to the other ghost character in the roster since he’s possessing a non-human creature. he gets majority control instead of floating around as a support * He’s more like a zombie or demon or general corrupted creature? like, he just rose from the grave and took on this particular shape cos of how he died, rather than this being an actual fusion of him and the spider that killed him. * Its like a werewolf thing??? He wasn’t really killed but just got bit and turned into a thing?? I dunno. * His backstory isn’t meant to be something that happened prior to the start of the game, but you literally see it happening right there. I mean you unlock webber by finding his skull while playing as another character, and if you bury it then it turns into him. So its like he woke up as a zombie cos you gave him a kind burial, but because his remains were intermingled with those of the thing that killed him they got all mixed up and revived as a single creature. And I guess that spider just went off and died offscreen shortly after eating him? or maybe it choked on him, cos seriously an entire human skull sounds hard to swallow XD

anyway HOWEVER THAT WEIRD PREMISE IS SUPPOSED TO WORK, its really intriguing and seems to imply a lot of Deep Traumatic Sads and it sucks that we don’t get a full plot exploring this and I’m just left feeling weird for having tearjerker fanfic ideas for a goddamn minimal dialogue simulation game >_> cos I mean MAN its just so interesting thinking about it from his perspective!! cos webber is just so nice and innocent still!! he barely seems to understand what happened to him, and he’s stuck in a big scary world and like.. the scariest part somehow became the only comfort to him, like DEAR GOD he has so much great characterization from these tiny snippets of dialogue! he just loves the spiders so damn much, he’s like ‘don’t worry i forgive u’ and he’s so happy to make friends with this big ol spoopy forest of monster things that literally killed him. and then all his unique gameplay powers revolve around that, all the spider enemies refuse to attack him ever again and he has supportive abilities to generate new hives and upgrade existing ones and just generally Sweet Doom Boy He Lovv He Friendes and i’m SO EMOTIONALLLL

and its also intriguing how the game handles his status as a fusion creature? he’s got a unique syntax thing of referring to himself as both ‘we’ and ‘me’ at the same time. I just found it quite cool when i figured out that there actually was a consitant set of rules about this! He’s generally ‘we’ but then says ‘me’ whenever something only applies to one half of his memories. Like you’d assume ‘me’ is the boy and ‘him’ is the spider, but webber casually swaps it around all the time and its like its always both of them talking even in this situation. He isn’t really two personalities but just one fused one that can remember being two people, i guess? Its a little confusing to hear him being like ‘i don’t hold a grudge against me for killing me’ but a very unique speaking pattern is an endearing trait for a character!

oh and MAN I WISH THEY FOLLOWED UP ON ANY OF THESE BACKSTORY HINTS!!! cos some of his dialogue references him living on a goat farm with a dad and a grandpa back when he was human? and we have NO IDEA how this completely ordinary adorable kid got teleported to Fuckin Hell World, or whether he’ll ever see his family again T_T Closest thing we get to an idea is him saying ‘we don’t like him, he tricked us’ at a statue of the game’s main villain, even though none of the alternate characters have any story dialogue and we only know that mr default man wilson had a history with the villain. So do all the alternate characters also have a personal grudge with him and we’ve just never been told what happened? Also there’s the fan theory that mr default man is actually webber’s father, and I dunno if thats true but I love seeing fanart of them as adoptive family even if they didnt know each other before they got trapped here.

but also just AAAAA webber’s plot WEBBER’S PLOT seriously its so fucking dark and has so much Potential and just THINK about this poor kid’s perspective on this dark souls shit that happened to him its depressingly realistic that the game adds a kid hero to the mix and then his plot is ‘yeah no a kid would die instantly in this kind of situation, and he did’ I mean there’s one other child character but she had ghost superpowers before the game even started, and her personality is all grim and practical and such. webber acts super young and innocent and was probably the lil teacher’s pet shy cutie type when he was alive. HE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE T_T

SO JUST IMAGINE JUST IMAGINE THIS TRAGIC SHIT

you’re tiny tiny baby friend and you fall thru some random portal some day and instead of a magical adventure in a fairytale world you get Grim As Fuck Nintendo Hard Survival Game imagine how terrified he must have been, all huddled up cold and starving under a big leaf like totoro crying for his grandpa to save him and then he gets eaten alive by some other starving creature in this hell world and then he wakes up like ‘wow what a weird dream’ and he has to claw his way out of a grave first ray of sunlight hits his freaky gnarled monster hands and his tiny child brain must be terribly unequipped to handle that kind of revelation... let alone the identity crisis of Yes I Am Part Of The Spider Horde and possibly Wow I Remember Eating My Own Brain

and its just... really oddly sweet and heartwarming that he’s friends with the spiders now?? like that makes me wonder how that played out when he first woke up. Imagine the poor kid seeing a whole bunch of the same thing that killed him and he flinches thinking they’re gonna attack, but then they scuttle up and hug him. And he sees his reflection in a puddle and realizes he’s one of them too, and now he’s not so alone anymore. I mean its not the same as getting his family back, but he has someone protecting him now. Scary things aren’t so scary when you’re scary too! And like.. there’s all different tiers of the spider enemy, and what if the big queen boss one became a mother figure to him? And what if he acts as a translator to them and helps them make friends with humans? And tells them stories about his family and they try and mimic human family things in their own lil spidery way, to make him feel welcome? *wearing tiny ties and hats* ‘We love our strangely shaped child and respect his differences’ I just wanna see slice of life adventures of the spide swarm!!

My Day6inNYC Experience!

EDIT: I typed this up in word and pasted it into Tumblr. Tumblr kinda make some things look a little weird so excuse that please.

This is super late coming but as soon as I left NYC I had to cram for a ton of exams and now that most of those are over I can take the time to talk about my experience seeing Day6 perform live and even hi-touching them;;;; This post might be a little bit all over the place, but I cant help but to feel SO MANY FEELINGS when I think about this okay. Its still so surreal I cant believe it actually happened it felt like a really good dream okay. Also, I wish my English were better to express myself here I have so many emotions I wish to express but honestly, I dont know how Id even describe these feelings in any other languages I know SO ILL TRY MY BEST WITH ENGLISH. Also, fair warning, thisll probably be really long so prepare yourself.

Okay, first things first. I arrived like 30 mins early to pick up my P2 wristband and apparently had I been a little earlier I could have seen day6 enter the Town Hall! Somehow, even though I was not the first that arrived at the venue to pick up my wristband, I did end up being first in the P2 line. And lord behold. Someone opened the backstage door. Then and there, I caught a glimpse of Sungjin, playing his guitar singing his part in the You Were Beautiful chorus. EVERYONE AROUND ME STARTED SCREAMING LOL. I was in such shock. Sungjin is so beautiful (in present tense) and has one of the best voices Ive ever heard okay. I dont think I really realized until then I was going to see Day6, like the band that inspires me to work hard every day and makes me so happy. Even though I had bought the ticket and everything that brought me to NYC, it felt surreal and then I knew it was R E A L. Theyre real and I was about to watch them perform live and even meet them afterwards like what the heck? After getting my wristband, I picked up a fanproject banner that would later be used to move day6 to tears:) These boys are so wholesome.

I went back to my hotel for a while after that because it was rainy and windy so walking around didnt sound so nice. Around 5:30 I left to get a bite to eat and then head back to the venue. Ended up getting a burger at Five Guys (and okay totally off topic from seeing Day6, but the Five Guys burger I had in NYC was so much better than any Ive had here in VA? Or maybe excitement makes stuff taste better.) I arrived at the venue at like 6:00 and the line was already pretty long! There were some My Days handing out photocards and I bought a Sungjin badge from one girl. (This experience is gonna make me sound so Sungjin biased but omg my bias is definitely Young K)

Once I was in the Town Hall I decided to buy a lightstick to cheer for the band! Id already ordered some of the other merch from the Subkulture Shop, because I was literally only traveling with one backpack and didnt want to buy more than I could fit in to take back home.

I had no idea on which side my seat would be, I only knew I would be 12 rows away from the stage. So, when I found my seat I was beyond happy to see I was on Young K and Wonpils side of the stage omg. With a really clear view of the both of them also! All the MyDays there were so sweet man, I had a great time talking with some while waiting for the concert to begin. Though I do honestly really wish that @mikulinneamew or @reading-river would have been there with me. Day6s instruments were already set on the stage and oh my goodness I fell in love with Sungjins Gibson Les Paul. Its white body with the black pickguard and golden hardware is SO BEAUTIFUL. Makes me want to go out and buy a Les Paul just like it, but going to this concert I used money I was originally saving for a new Fender P-Bass (That aint happening for a while now lol) but I am so not complaining. Sungjins Martin acoustic is also really beautiful, but I still prefer Taylors. Young Ks bass is also super pretty. Really, I was drooling over these instruments while waiting for the concert to begin.

Its two minutes before the concert was set to begin and everyone is already chanting “DAY6! DAY6! DAY6! DAY6!”. Shortly after the lights went dark and the screen behind the stage started to play a video introducing the members (And can I say I love how so many of their songs were mashed up perfectly in that video like wow Id love the audio of just that)! One by one then the members came on stage. First Dowoon, then Wonpil, followed by Young K, Jae and last but not least, leader Sungjin! While the video was finishing playing I could see Young K getting his bass tuned and ready to perform. I started tearing up here already because they were right in front of me? Unreal, but yet so real.

And then, the first song was: I WAIT! One of my favorite songs already ;; (what am I saying, all of their songs are my favorites) Such a high energy song for the first one. It was perfect to get the crowd hyped and pumped for what was to come! Then there was me crying of happiness and singing along though omg. DAY6 IS SO COOL PERFORMING. Sungjin and Jae rocking out on their guitars, Young K thumping on the Bass, Wonpil playing the Synth and Dowoon rocking the drums! I loved how connected the audience was with the band too like out of all the live performances from bands Ive seen, this one was definitely the one with the most chemistry with the audience and music! All of the “I WAIT!” chants were so nice to hear with the music aaaa. THE SONG ENDED SO FAST. All songs went by so quick really, but hey that just means youre having a great time.

The second song was: HUNT! I was NOT prepared for this song so early on in the show already. If I had to summarize this performance in two words: Younghyuns rap (I love it so much). I really love the guitar riffs in this song so I payed a lot of attention to Jae and Sungjin at first but man, as soon as it was rapping time my eyes were focused on Young K. His rapping timbre is soooOOO darn good. And hes such a good performer too when he does it. HE FEELS EVERY WORD HE SAYS. Hunt is such a good song. I loved it. So much.

After the first two songs, lights went back on for a moment and Jae hyped up the audience! Young K shook his head the first time everyone made noise at Jaes request, but the second time Jae asked us to make some noise BOY THAT WAS GOOD VOLUME MYDAYS HAVE GREAT LUNGS.

That was followed by: IM SERIOUS! This song is so fluffy and catchy Im pretty sure everyone was singing along in the “I cant stop loving you” part. I mean, how could anyone stop loving day6 theyre so wholesome and talented and KIND AND SWEET. Wow. Its SO FUN to watch Sungjin play his acoustic guitar he was smiling the whole time. Everyone was smiling during that performance EVEN DOWOON HE WAS SO CUTE. Its such a sweet song how can you not smile playing it or listening to it. During the acapella part Young K was shooting finger hearts and did an AMAZING adlib. I was m e l t i n g. Turning me into a puddle.

The next song was: MAN IN A MOVIE! I REALLY LOVE THIS SONG A LOT. Another really soft and fluffy song, but soOOO musically interesting. Day6 is one of the few groups that not only produces earcandy, but earcandy that is also thinking candy for people who enjoy music theory (a n d I d o) This is the only day6 song Ive actually written out a fingerstyle ukulele arrangement for (totally weird instrument choice, but Im working on rewriting it for guitar LOL). Im EXTREMELY fond of everyones vocals on this song. Especially Sungjins and Young Ks :)

After this song it was game and Q&A time! I cant remember if the preference game or Q&A was first so Im just going to talk about the preference game first.

Firstly though, all the members introduced themselves. They all looked so happy that it made me even happier LOL. For the preference game, all of the audience had to stand up and participate in a game with day6! It was so fun! First up the audience had to guess which one Jae like more, by either raising their left or right arm: The statue of liberty or Brooklyn bridge. The right answer was Brooklyn bridge and the majority of the audience (including me) had guessed it right! The MyDays who guessed wrong, had to take their seat again. Second was Bob (Sungjin). I guessed his wrong already! >3< The question was if he preferred playing Overwatch or Fifa. The correct answer was Fifa. Sadly, most people had guessed this one wrong. Next was Dowoon. We had to guess if he prefers skirts or jeans on girls LOL. His answer was jeans but it got too loud that I couldnt quite hear his reasoning. Then was Young K. Does he prefer sneakers or high heels? His answer was sneakers, because high heels are very uncomfortable (he said hes even tried them on before what a cutie). Wonpil had the most far fetched question in my opinion it was kinda funny! The audience had to guess if he likes Ariel or Snow White more. His answer was Snow White because he feels more sorry for her. Lastly was a question that would decide the faith of a lot of Jae stans hair LOL. Does he like long hair or short hair better on girls? His answer was short hair, because it makes them seem more confident. After all of those guesses only four lucky MyDays out of about 1500 were left standing! They got invited onto the stage and got a bag full of (signed!) tour merch gifted to them by Day6! It was so sweet and kind that the winners even received such a gift from Day6 themselves!

MOVING ON TO THE Q&A! Before they picked their questions to answer, Sungjin said “This! Is! Paradise!” and Dowoon sang the “Oh you are My Daaay” part of their song MY DAY to the NYC MyDays. Wonpil went first to pick his question. While each member would choose their question, the audience would sing the jeopardy theme song. It was hilarious. He chose the question: “Where did your interest in music come from?” Right when he was about to answer the question someone in the audience screamed “I LOVE YOU YOUNG K” but Young K shut her down so fast saying “Its Wonpil time!” Wonpil was flustered for a sec but then resumed to answer his question and said that he listened to a lot of hip hop when he was young and that got him interested. Next up was Young K! He chose the question: “What was the funniest moment in your life?”. He began to say that since Chuseok hes been eating more. And his most funny moment was before he came onto the stage. Apparently his pants didnt fit him anymore and he had to expand them a bit! The way he told this story was utterly hilarious and cute I can highly recommend finding a fancam of this moment omg. After him was Dowoon. His question was: “If you could have a superpower what would it be?” He said he wishes he could talk to animals. When he was in college he had a pet cat which he neglected and now he feels bad for that. He said if he could only communicate with one kind of animal though it would be bear LOL. Sungjin started imitating a bear after that and it was so hilarious omg he puffed himself up and was clawing at him. Next was Sungjin! He was lowkey dancing along to the jeopardy theme omg. His question was: “What is the hardest thing you have ever done?”. He said working towards Day6s debut was the hardest time in his life ;; He shouted out collapsedone who helped them a lot towards their debut and he was actually at the concert right there ;; Jae was the last one to get a question. He chose: “What inspired you to pursue music?”. He said he was getting into a bunch of Youtube musicians and thought he should try it out too. He met Wong Fu Productions Phil who also further inspired him to pursue music. And so Yellowpostitman was born. That concluded the Q&A! Day6 left the stage for a quick moment while the NYC Vlog-like video they made for the tour started playing. This time it was Wonpils cut! It showed the boys having fun at times square (someone in the audience screamed I SEE MYSELF and everyone laughed it was so funny) and Wonpil loosing his phone while dancing on the street LOL. I really love this vlog concept they had to play during intermission its so sweet of them.

Once the vlog was over they came back on stage and started to perform You Were Beautiful. THIS SONG IS SO BEAUTIFUL. Its one of the first songs of theirs I heard that got me into them ;; I was tearing up during this whole performance its such a heartfelt song and you could truly feel the emotions of the song being conveyed in their performance. They all sing it so softly yet powerfully. I really love Young Ks vocal parts in this song and his voice was so stable too (everyones was really) aaa ;;

The next song they performed was their debut song CONGRATULATIONS! Everyone in the audience had received a red sticker to cover their phone flashlight with during this song to create a red ocean. I wasnt in a good seat so see if it was a success or not but the lighting definitely seemed more red :) Everyone was singing along to EVERY BIT of this song it was fantastic. I love this song so much aaa. Young Ks rap makes me feel so many FEELINGS. This song was over way too quick I wish itd last forever.

After Congratulations Jae was saying that the last two songs are coming now and everyone was getting a LIL SAD that the night was coming to an end soon. (Jae didnt count the encore though ;D) Jae also took a moment to tell everyone that they should follow their dreams and not let anyone tell them that they cant make it. Even when it seems impossible to make it to your dreams he believes that we can make the jump and achieve them ;; Hearing those words from him made me a sobbing mess. For a few reasons I think. Even just seeing them perform live was a dream come true. Being in NYC (if even just for two days) was a dream come true. Its a city Id been dreaming of seeing someday since I was a little kid. Probably because music as a career has almost always been my dream. And NYC is one of the worlds music capitals. I used to want to become a concert pianist. Then I wanted to become a music teacher. Right now Im leaning more towards songwriting, production and playing guitar LOL. But as someone whos in the position where I need to decide what I want to do with my future relatively soon, Jaes words helped me so much.

Their next song was LETTING GO! And oh my goodness. I was not prepared for those buttery sweet harmonies in the beginning. I was thinking so much about what Jae had said before during this performance so Im a little blank on what special happened during this performance but I totally remember it being mesmerizing;;

Their last song before encore was I SMILE! The fanchants on this one were so strong! Everyone held their banner up which read “My Day6 which I thought I only met in my dreams is right in front of me”. I could see Young K tear up when he read it. It was so sweet :) I do wish that Wonpils synth had been a tiny bit louder because he has that cool solo part in it, but I could hardly hear it. But the whole performance was so overwhelmingly beautiful that I was crying.

After performing I SMILE they left the stage and everyone started chanting “DAY6! DAY6!” again. Shortly after they came back on stage and THEY PERFORMED DANCE DANCE. This song is so upbeat and happy and makes you forget all the stress so much I love it to bits. I absolutely love Jaes guitar part in this song too so I tried to focus on him until Brians rap distracted me AGAIN (rapper K is my weakness okay). The entire performance was so high energy it was perfect buildup to the next song they performed which was also their last performance for the night. FREE하게! This is my go-to song for escaping from the stress of life and simply basking in how powerful music truly is. So, hearing it live, as the encore really touched me (and I cried more). I felt so many emotions go through me during this performance. It felt like a reminder of why I love music so much, which sometimes is well needed. Its so energetic and uplifting. My highlight of this performance: …Young Ks rap (wow surprise surprise). Also Sungjins high note! And Jae jumping into the crowd and hyping us up even more! (If Jae tells you to jump, you have to jump.) This performance was a perfect end for the concert. I really didnt want it to end though.

After this performance Day6 bowed and thanked the audience. I dont know where to begin describing how I felt after that. I still had the high touch left but the main event was over. I felt (still feel and always will) so extremely blessed to have been able to experience that. Theyre such a wholesome, hardworking and admirable band. I felt such extreme happiness.

The night was nearly over, but the hi-touch was still left for those who had purchased a P2 ticket! Id never done a hi-touch before, so I didnt know what to expect. I only knew itd go by super quick. What I did NOT expect however, is to walk around a corner and BAM there standing is Young K, Mr. Brian Kang, THE KANG YOUNGHYUN, BASSIST RAPPER GODLY VOCALS FULL TIME COLLEGE STUDENT BUT ALSO FULL TIME BANDMEMBER HE WORKS SO HARD OK. It is a lot to take in when you see your ultimate bias being the first in line for the hi-touch. My first thought was how pretty his NOSE is. Like dang, boys got the finest nose Ive ever seen. My second thought was how intimidating he seemed though omg. But as soon as it was my turn for a brief second with him it seemed like he was glowing and flowers were blooming around him? Hes got the sweetest smile and eyes. Instead of high fiving him I held onto his hand for a second and all I could say was “I love you so much” I WAS IN SUCH AWE. He gave my hand a bit of a squeeze and said he loves me back. SUCH A NICE MAN IM CRYING.   Then it was already time to move on though and next was Dowoon! My mind was completely blank from Young K being first (I was hoping hed be last for this reason LOL) I also grabbed onto Dowoons hand for a moment and I mustve not said anything at first, because he was like “Thank you!” first (his Korean accent is adorable) so I said thank you back to him and he then gave a teeny bow like how polite omg. Thats all I had with Dowoon though (Wish I could have said more I wanted to tell him how cool he is!) But next was Jae. First impression: Hes so TALL. Second impression: Hes so NICE. I think Jae made it a thing to keep eye contact with his fans for as much as he could. I told him “Thank you so much Jae” because man especially his speech about following dreams hit me hard as I had mentioned before. Hes honestly the member I was most thankful for that night (Im thankful for them all though please dont misunderstand!) I would have hugged him if I could. His face is so pretty up close too, how can someone manage to look handsome but like a personification of Chicken Little at the same time? Jae can. Next was Wonpil! And I must say I was taken a back a little like “Who is this man?” HE LOOKS SO DIFFERENT IN REAL LIFE. In a good way of course! I held onto his hand for a moment and said “Thanks Wonpil” he nodded and had such a smug look on his face like omg. SUNGJIN WAS NEXT AND BOY THIS WAS MY FAVORITE ENCOUNTER. He was already like pulling his arm back to give a really hard high five so I was BRACING myself, because it looked like it might be painful omg. Hes the only member I actually high fived whoops. BUT his high five was so happy and so energetic! Yet it was aggressively soft? It was definitely a hard high five but it didnt hurt at all LOL. He was like “Ah yeah!” after that and I thanked him for the great show. Then the hi-touch was over for me. Even though I wish I could have had a little more time with them, I was so thankful to have had the experience in the first place.

IN CONCLUSION: This was the best night of my life so far. This definitely is not going to be the last time I see them live. If they come back to NA while Im still here you can count on me doing my best to get that P1 or P2 ticket. They better come to Europe someday too! For their next tour if it works out I might even try to go to more than one of their concerts. I was trying to go to the Toronto concert for this tour too, but my exam schedule wouldnt allow that. But I am so blessed that NYC happened. I will also definitely plan any trip to Asia around their concert schedule!

Tl;dr: I love day6 so much. See them live someday plz. Tell Brian I love him plz.

Notable moments of Summer17

I just need to take a moment to appreciate how fucking amazing this summer has been and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Week in the bay with Lowell and Michelle: got to spend even more time with my best friends! Did drunk karaoke, Japantown, touristy shit, an open mic night, drunk bowling, etc. That was the first exposure my LMU friends had with my FC friends and everyone got along so well :D I died a lil bit at during drunk bowling at the hands of an ex but all the homies were there for me and I love them.

Research: most frustrating experience of my life... I definitely learned a ton about mechanomyography and exercise physiology, but I learned so much more about the research process. It’s fucking hard. especially if you do it alone. Thankfully I had Sophie and a fat stipend to get me through everything!! 

Haychella & its related antics: if i didnt live with rachel i would have died. end of story. these events raised my tolerance like crazy and rachel was always there to go drunk fountain swimming with me, hold my hair back when I died at my birthday party and put it on her snapstory when i pissed in my bed after i blacked out at the bars. All of the rage cage and furniture games we played will be in my heart lol

Kehlani concert: shoutout to lowell for being a damn good friend and going to see her and taking edibles with me. seeing ella mai was game changing and i always wear my free merch. It was nice to see my wife again, unfortunately i passed out from dehydration and screaming her lyrics too hard.

Cabo: boy did I get tan and fat. I ate so much shrimp i couldnt feel my legs and my vision was blurry. It was some nice family time but all you can do in cabo is get litty. Shoutout to jacob and emily for going to mango deck and squid roe with me so i could turn up.

Preschool:  got to work with some real cuties in the twos class this year but after that, ya girl is DONE. I will forever miss cooper, audrey and carter <3 twas the last summer of a free gym membership and i definitely used the shit out of it. this was the most fit i have ever been in my whole life.

Pierced nipples: pretty self explanatory but thanks for convincing me to go chelsea (:

Audiotistic: THE RAVE THAT CHANGED IT ALL LOL i was feelin my outfit (even though one of the straps on my shorts broke) the lineup was dope as fuck, the moonrocks did me good, and i was with some of my favorite people. Michelle pushed me onto Tim, who I told myself I wouldn’t really think twice about. We danced the whole time and he shouted all of the wrong lyrics into my ear. Even though i almost shat myself bc i had to sneak in, it was fucking worth it.

Giants game with Tim: He slid in the DMs a few days later and we had our first date at a giants game. Even though we were pretty buzzed, I knew he was a real one.

Soulstice: this will be the only time I will roll 2 weeks in a row i swear!! Got to rave with tim and the boys AND josh from lmu!! the music was whatever but I had the fucking time of my life with them.

Berkeley turn up: I had such a good time with such a random group of people (tim & friends, kina, arka, rachel, ben, angel) it was way too fun! i had one of those drunk moments where I just realized how fucking content i am with my life. also, first sexy time ;)

San Diego: nice to get the gang back together! makes me appreciate you all a little bit more!  i will remember this trip for what I didn’t remember because I HAVE NEVER BLACKED THIS HARD IN MY LIFE. at least it was after 12 or 13 shots bc that was the most ive ever drank in my life. 

KRANE + LA + Summer Sauce: our relationship took like 40 steps forward after our lil trip haha after this, i had met most of your friends and parents and i felt like i was already living with you! I had so much fun at KRANE and Summer Sauce with you. Even though youre always underwhelmed by the music, the experience itself is so much fun with you. I REALLY got to know you (and your fear of spiders) and i’m so glad i found someone who enjoys eating as much as i do. after alllll the hanging out together in such a short amount of time, i found that i didnt hate you and if you can accomplish that, that means you are pretty damn special to me.

Overall, the best thing about this summer was the colliding of worlds with Lmu friends, Michelle’s friends, and my friends. I really feel confident that I’m surrounding myself with the best people possible. Even all the smaller hangouts (more drunk bowling, more drunk karaoke, meringue pie, beach trips, movies, smoke sessions, scavenger hunts, kickbacks, etc) made it alll complete. I love everyone that I have met or gotten close to and I appreciate the shit out of them. After how lit this summer was, I’m ready to go back to the grind and maybe cut down on all the illegal activities for a lil bit so I can focus on school!

READERS POV:

I'm the new girl in town, me and my folks don't get along real well, so im barely home. But people have been telling me that the Curtis Household is always unlocked, and that they don't mind if you stay the night.

--few days go by--

Me and my parents had got'n in a fight and kicked me out for the week. I had no where to go. So I went to the only place you know that Tim, and a bunch of other greasers have had told me about, the Curtis house hold. It was the middle of the night when I walked in quietly. I was so sleepy I didnt even think about a blanket or a pillow, I just plopped on the couch and slept.

--Next morning--

The next day I woke up to a slight 'hello' I opened my eyes hazly. To only a fogging outlining of a person when you heard that voice again... "Hellloo, you a wake??" I sat up when I realized it was an actual person and I freaked out. Then remembering people lived in that house. "Woah, calm down... I'm Ponyboy Curtis, I'm 14 also the youngest." He said in a calm voice almost soothing.

"Oh, sorry I wasn't planning on staying for ever just the night until I find somewherw else to sleep for the rest of the week... I swear..."

"WOAH, WOAH, slow down its okay you can stay here as long as you let me make this beautiful young lady some breakfast. And if anyone should be scared it should be me!!" He laughed towards the end, standing up and walking to the kitchen.

"Whys that?" I questioned.

"Because you could have been a Soc just waiting to jump us, and the fact that we have never had a girl sleep over just boys! And uh... Whats your name?" He said with no hesitation.

"Uh... duh... right forgot. Hi I'm y/n, I'm 13... Me and my parents got in a fight and kicked me out for the weekend. But breakfast would be nice thanks." I giggled.

"Y/n, uh thats an amazing name. But I know everyone in this town... you new!" He asked, while flipping pan cakes. Then yelling, "DARRY, SODA!!! BREAKFEST IS READY!!"

"Yes, I just moved here from Kansas." Darry and Sodapop just then walked in.

Soda was wrapped in a towel and nothing else on. "Well, who's this pretty lady!?!?" He said while slowly checking me out.

"Hi Soda and I'm gonna assume your Darry. Anywho I'm Y/n. And is it okay if I spend the week here. Me and my parents got in a fight and they kicked me out for a week. I am also new so you probably haven't seen you around I just moved from Kansas. And I'm 13." I stood there quietly after, in XL sweatpants, tank top, a bra, underwear, and a XXL solid black hoodie.

"Sure, why the hell not." Darry said after sitting down. "Let's eat!!"

--After Breakfast--

Darry then broken the silence by saying, "Ponyboy, why uh... why dont you take school off and you could show Y/n around the house and town. Go to the movies, or lunch something like that." Then handing Pony $10.

"Okay! I'm gonna change." He grabbed the money and looked at me , his hazel eyes met mine.

"Diddo!" I said walking towards my bag of stuff.

Pony looked at me and pulzzed said, "you have a strange vocabulary for girl." Then walked to Soda's and his room to change.

After I changed, I walked In with black and white converses, light blue jeans, a cute tank top with a wide area on the sides that showed my bra, and my jacket around your waist. "Woah, your even more beautiful then before!!" Ponyboy stared at me then looking up and down. "Shall we!?" We both walked out the door and to the side of the house where the rest of the gang was.

"Hey Ponyb... Wow who's she!!??" Two-bit asked as his goofy old self.

"Hey guys, this is y/n she's 13 and just moved here from Kansas. Y/n this is Two-bit.!

"Hey cutie!."

"Dallas."

"We should hang out sometime!" He winked at me.

"Johnny!"

"Wow, prettiest girl that I've seen in along time!"

"And Steve is works at the DX with Sodapop, we'll go see them later though."

"Okay." I said turning back to Ponyboy.

"Damn... She sounds cute too!" Dally said.

"Okay." The gang just then left and Pony started walking.

"Of course be home by 7 for dinner.!" He high fived me goodbye although I would much rather have had a hug but whatever. So I ran other quickly to Benny's because that where Dallas said he would be. When I got over to the house, he was sitting outside and smoking. He looked at me.

"Hey, doll! Looking good." He gave me a smirk as usual.

"Hey Dal!" I waved and ran up to sit next to him.

"So, y/n... What do you think of Pony uh?!"

I froze, "Why??"

"You... Uh... how do I put this. You blush around him a lot, and you laughed at everything he said. Come on be honest." He leaned in closer waiting for me to respond.

"Thats only because he's funny!!!"

"Oh, come on... I won't tell him!!" He gave me puppy eyes that unexpectedly worked.

"Uhmm, FINE" I squirmed in my chair at the fact I had to tell him. "Okay. I do I'm in LOVE with Ponyboy. He's so cute and smug, he's amazingly funny, huh and the way he stares at me with though hazel eyes its like a... Like a..." I couldn't believe I actually said that. I also can't believe I feel that. Our night went on.

PONYBOYS POV:

It was 6: 30, and boy was I freaking out I couldn't wait for y/n to get home. I couldn't wait to see her. "Johnny, I think I'm gonna have a heart attack if these 30 minutes dont go by fast. UUUGGGHHH!!!!"

Johnny stared at me..."Somebody's love sick. Man, Ponyboy you really got a thing going for y/n don't ya?"

I sat up and came back with, "Gosh Johnnycake. How would you even know you didnt even spend a day with this Angel. I just want to kiss her already!!"

"Okay, man whatever you say." Johnny got up and went to the bathroom he's stay'n the night too, and for dinner.

--20 minutes go by--

It had just 7 O'Clock when y/n was home. I jumped up saying, "JUST IN TIME!!" Johnny had just gotten up from his nap and walked in.

She stared at me... "Hey Pony, oh hey Johnny!" Her smile was even beautiful.

"Oh yeah right. I forgot, Johnny is spending the night too, and having dinner with us. And is it okay if I sleep out here with you Johnny's gonna sleep in the bed with Soda tonight (soda in the background, 'hmhm')." I look at her and she paused and blushed into the color shade of a rose.

"I don't mind at all. But beware, when I get cold I snuggle with the closest thing to me." She giggled and went to go change in the bathroom.

As she walked I said, "I dont mind at all!"

--After dinner--

Johnny walked to the door and said " I'm gonna go grab something's from Dallas. Be back in a bit."

When I got to Bennys I went upstairs to talk to Dal. "Hey Dallas!!"

Third day of the new year!

Went to hangout with ryan and leighton. They wanted to try marugame udon so!!! Also i saw adam but didnt say hi, oops. In any case. We were like hey let’s do something like walk around! But it rained a little so we bought some cuties from trader joe’s and ended up at ryan’s house and basically sat in his kotatsu for 4 hours then i came home. I also finally know how it feels like when the manga says that your legs get tangled inside the kotatsu. And when you literally cannot get out of it. went to portland with alice to check out apartments!!! woot. lots of fun going around/looking at the city. landed on thursday night and waited at the airport for alice and ate mcdonalds/watched the office haha friday: alice had work all day ): so i went out to meet up with yuri and leslie who happened to be out in portland too! walked to the alberta arts district to eat with them at pok pok noi. just walked around afterwards exploring in the rain before getting back home to eat dinner with alice at like 8…lol we went to bamboo sushi in sw and alice treated me to omakase as a congrats on getting my new yob!! woot also did some walking around in the neighborhood - will likely spend quite a bit of time in the powell city of books! saturday: the day we actually went out to see properties! grabbed some blue star donuts and headed into nw district - looked at some apartments and then grabbed lunch at this cute italian place that i will most likely frequent. started talking to alice about stuff and being weak, i cried and then we got free hazelnut ice cream…LOL. it was really good sunday: since we toured places that i actually liked yesterday, we basically just decided to walk around different areas. waterfront park, pioneer square…we spent a while in nordstrom rack and sephora looking for stuff for alice! lol. then dinner again at bamboo sushi and dessert at salt & straw :> monday morning: waking up early to get to the airport for alice’s flight. bought more donuts at the airport for mom! then i sat at the airport watching the office and eating until the airplane ride where i got a whole row to myself~

and that was my portland trip shortened LOL. but~ excited about the new city, definitely excited about the donuts!

My first day of work!! Went in earlies and had onboarding for about two hours with amother new hire. Then i returned to my room where i met my coworker and my manager! Both of whom are in the same room and we each have a desk. (Ima have to request a standing desk :O) anywayss. Got a company laptop - thank god it’s not bulky. And then i’ve got two monitors on my desk too! #bless

Then jlw went through more ux stuff with me and i also went to a stand up meeting. Like. Those are real man. Then went to company lunch! Where new hires introduce themselves and i realize that i have never used a dishwasher before and everyone was shookt lol.

Afterwards, i went to a sprint meeting AND BOIIIII PLANNING POKER DOE??? Lololol. I have to say i did not understand a single thing that was going on. Took about an hour and a half…

Anyways. went back in where jlw continued where she left off and then finally let me read some onboarding stuff on my own before she headed out at 4 and then me, leaving swiftly at 4 as well LOL

okay lol basically that’s it because nothing happens in my life although i realze that i video recorded a lot of experiences and they’re all just video files sitting on my phone and that’s why maybe i haven’t been writing any everyday things down :O will i ever edit them? unclear
