As October draws closer for Brighton City College, well-known for its wild parties and a love for all things Halloween, Hayden Cox and Riley Moore find themselves only half of a friend group as Greyson Stewart and Hazel Edwards aim to climb the ranks of the Halloween social ladder to join the legendary Hosts. But when the two of them discover they've got far more in common than just their friends, their Halloween becomes far less that of Brighton City legend, and something far more...them.

A fluffy, university slice-of-life story involving seasonal hijinks and not nearly enough candy! ~80k, working titles are:

When the Lord of Crosswell Estate plans to wed his niece to a brutish lord to save his wealth, she runs away and stumbles upon Illthern, a forgotten trading village under the control of the monstrous Theodoric Gaut, whom she deceives in order to gain his protection from her wrathful uncle; but when she finds herself face to face with Lord Gaut, who is not what the stories would have her believe, she must wrestle with the monstrosity of her own making before he discovers that his supposed long-lost relative is not what she claims to be.

An inverted sort of Beauty-and-the-Beast that deals with the monstrosity of girlhood and the inherent horror of self-creation. ~170k, working titles are:

Who/what is one of the influences on your art style? Like if some aspects of your art style was inspired by an artist or show etc, which ones?

well, when i first started drawing with actual techniques and stuff, i studied anatomy through many renaissance painters (especially Da Vinci and Botticelli), which is why my sketches of anatomy studies were more realistic

when i got the hang of anatomy, i started basing off artists i like from the internet, including (but not only) @/lumencountess, @/princeanxious, @/not-exactly-laborious, @/morihuori & @/kasjophe until i developed my own style!!

Some Wips that I may or may not finish. The first one is a poster for @princeanxious's fic- The Lost Guardian. The sketch is rather rough and there's some posing that I'd probably rework if I ever got the time. The second one is a poster for one of my Friend's original works based around our little crew's adventures in his world. Said friend is the cool as heck guy with the gun shooting out that glass. (He has gone on record multiple times to say that I have made him look too cool, but imo he is hella cool. I would say give him some love but I don't recall if he's on Tumblr at all. Otherwise I would be tagging him. ( I do plan on finishing this piece btw. Got a big one to finish first) And the last picture is a lot of that same group's adventures playing Goose Goose Duck with my elder sisters. It was a lot of fun and everyone had some hecking cool geese outfits ( I'm the yellow duck. and my friend is the dark red one. My elder sisters are the green and black ducks).

i wanna say 2 is the lie, i think it’s a different god you’re doing for your project

1. i have a roller coaster picture of me from when i was around 8 that’s just me hanging on for dear life next to my parents who are having the time of their life and its my favorite picture and you’d think i hate thrill rides but i love them it was just my first roller coaster with a real drop

2. my online persona is much more rockstar and mysterious than i actually am in real life, im just a grandma irl i just want comfy old style outfits and a nap

3. i love coffee bro especially black coffee, the bitterness is just what i need in the morning and if i want a sweet treat i just add some sugar and milk and call it a day, you don’t have to get fancy with it and also colombian coffee on top 💪

3 is definitely a lie

I once peeled a grapefruit thinking it was an orange, and cried while shoving the whole thing in my mouth.

when i was about six years old i scratched the face of a girl i didn’t like in several photos in an attempt to voodoo hex her into never talking to me again (didn’t work)

Uh ok let’s see

1. When I was 13, I got hit with a car by a cop and broke my leg, resulting in me getting surgery twice. When I woke up after the second one, the first thing I said was “best nap of my life”.

2. There’s a picture of me as a baby at the beach holding a little crab. Shortly after the picture was taken, I proceeded to eat said crab and then cry about it.

3. Whenever my mum and I visit my family in cuba, they have some random ass animal as a pet. We’ve had a turtle that absolutely hated my aunt, a tiny owl, and a parrot that kept stealing everyone’s cigarettes.

All of these are so believable, but I think 1 is the lie just because that’s just too funny to be true

Here’s mine

1. When I was like 7 or 8 I had a bunk bed. I tried getting down from my top bunk via not the ladder, my hand slipped, and I scrapped my shin on my bottom bunk

2. Me and my family went to Belgium and went on this thing where they showed around Gent and got to taste some of the chocolate there. Once we we got closer to the end I noticed my younger brother (who would’ve been 5 or 6 at the time) wasn’t with the group. We lost my brother in a foreign country.

3. I got hit by a car when I was 12 and somehow managed to get out with a bruised leg and hip.
