Slice of life QPR:

As October draws closer for Brighton City College, well-known for its wild parties and a love for all things Halloween, Hayden Cox and Riley Moore find themselves only half of a friend group as Greyson Stewart and Hazel Edwards aim to climb the ranks of the Halloween social ladder to join the legendary Hosts. But when the two of them discover they've got far more in common than just their friends, their Halloween becomes far less that of Brighton City legend, and something far more...them.

A fluffy, university slice-of-life story involving seasonal hijinks and not nearly enough candy! ~80k, working titles are:

When the Lord of Crosswell Estate plans to wed his niece to a brutish lord to save his wealth, she runs away and stumbles upon Illthern, a forgotten trading village under the control of the monstrous Theodoric Gaut, whom she deceives in order to gain his protection from her wrathful uncle; but when she finds herself face to face with Lord Gaut, who is not what the stories would have her believe, she must wrestle with the monstrosity of her own making before he discovers that his supposed long-lost relative is not what she claims to be.

An inverted sort of Beauty-and-the-Beast that deals with the monstrosity of girlhood and the inherent horror of self-creation. ~170k, working titles are:

Yo so uh. Beware of a possible discord scam thats going around that is called 'verify and shame' bc it looks sketchy ad hell and now im yella worried abt the safety of my acct bc it was sent to me through an acct of an old friend???

It starts w/ something about 'hey this person who had your same acc tname and profile said this they did this awful stuff and so I'm blocking you until you can going to this server and verify that it wasn't you' so i couldnt even message this friend anymore to tell them that their acct couldve been hacked

(I blame the fact that i just woke up and was rly out of it for why I actually checked out the link, bc it was an actual server but the setters were set up with only one channel called 'verify' and no one was allowed to type in it even though there were like 2000 members to the channel already.)

So uh. Yeah. Beware.

Who/what is one of the influences on your art style? Like if some aspects of your art style was inspired by an artist or show etc, which ones?

well, when i first started drawing with actual techniques and stuff, i studied anatomy through many renaissance painters (especially Da Vinci and Botticelli), which is why my sketches of anatomy studies were more realistic

when i got the hang of anatomy, i started basing off artists i like from the internet, including (but not only) @/lumencountess, @/princeanxious, @/not-exactly-laborious, @/morihuori & @/kasjophe until i developed my own style!!

Some Wips that I may or may not finish. The first one is a poster for @princeanxious's fic- The Lost Guardian. The sketch is rather rough and there's some posing that I'd probably rework if I ever got the time. The second one is a poster for one of my Friend's original works based around our little crew's adventures in his world. Said friend is the cool as heck guy with the gun shooting out that glass. (He has gone on record multiple times to say that I have made him look too cool, but imo he is hella cool. I would say give him some love but I don't recall if he's on Tumblr at all. Otherwise I would be tagging him. ( I do plan on finishing this piece btw. Got a big one to finish first) And the last picture is a lot of that same group's adventures playing Goose Goose Duck with my elder sisters. It was a lot of fun and everyone had some hecking cool geese outfits ( I'm the yellow duck. and my friend is the dark red one. My elder sisters are the green and black ducks).

Virgil hadn’t even turned around from closing the door when he started speaking.

"I'm going to close my eyes and count to ten. Maybe I'll convince myself you were never here if you won't be here when I open them."

Janus should have known to expect such a cold welcome. He stared at Virgil’s back, willing him to turn around and hear him out, to notice and acknowledge him, even just to glare at him. The sharp interjection of Virgil’s counting cut through the air before he could speak.

“One.”

It had been instinct, to go to Virgil first. His former best friend. The one he once trusted more than anyone else.

“Two.”

Maybe Janus should have gone to someone else.

“Three.”

Patton wouldn’t have turned him away.

“Four.”

Maybe Logan would have tried to help.

“Five.”

Roman... Roman probably would have pretended he wasn’t there, too.

“Six.”

Remus would have stayed until the bitter end.

“Seven.”

He was already running out of time anyway. What did a few more seconds matter?

“Eight.”

But, if Janus was being honest with himself - and sometimes, he was - he just wanted to see Virgil one last time.

“Nine.”

Janus closed his eyes.

“Ten.”

No one was there when Virgil turned back around.

The few Human/Real Dain AUs are wonderful but they all either end with him dead or just chilling in Del. And while this is fine, I think we need more ones that end in him in some kind of relationship with Jaslief. It can a poly or a QPR with one of them, or a poly QPR, but it needs to happen.

Please let me know if you have/know of any good fics where:

The Chain are paltonic soulmates. Either explicated expressed or just them acting like they are. what that last one means is ones that focus on the fact that these guys can understand each other in a way no one else can, because they've been through things no else can, both pre meeting up and during.

So the LU boys are soulmates in the realist most platonic way possible. As such there should be an AU where they have red strings of fate. (Probs a diff color bc platonic but the point stands) This means they should have all many strings that are all tangled up whent hey first meet. It can also focus on angst where they just see a bunch of their soul strings fading into nothing after a few inches, rather than normal foot or two. But none of that is why I thought about it.

No I thought about it because I think about the boys plucking at their strings like instruments once they all met. So one of them gets sent into town for food (less conspicuous that way) and the whole time Wild, Wind and Hyrule have gathered together and are play 'Hot cross buns' on their soul strings to remind the poor guy to buy them sticky buns

Two Truths and a Lie!

Now mine, which I had a lot of trouble coming up with xD

1. I used to get into lots of trouble for fighting and what not in school because anger issues~

2. I was basically raised at renaissance fair for how often my parents and I attended from my birth until I was about 6-7.

3. I once had plans to become a musician and/or actor until I realized my social anxiety was way too terrible, so I settled for doing art instead.

3. Whenever my mum and I visit my family in cuba, they have some random ass animal as a pet. We’ve had a turtle that absolutely hated my aunt, a tiny owl, and a parrot that kept stealing everyone’s cigarettes.

2. Me and my family went to Belgium and went on this thing where they showed around Gent and got to taste some of the chocolate there. Once we we got closer to the end I noticed my younger brother (who would’ve been 5 or 6 at the time) wasn’t with the group. We lost my brother in a foreign country.

3. I got hit by a car when I was 12 and somehow managed to get out with a bruised leg and hip.

Tea time (Prinxiety and Intrulogical)

This will most likely be short but I really wanted to write something.

Virgil, Roman, Logan, and Remus were about to have their tea time in their living room. The living room was cozy with the fire from the fire place raring. The quite taps of rain being heard outside. Roman and Virgil were seated on their couch, Remus was seated in the chair across them, in between was a nice glass coffee table that was rimmed with smooth dark oak wood.  Logan then came in a few minutes later with two trays, it was his turn to make food today. One holding all four plates for them and one holding biscuit and sweets on it with drinks too. He set them down on the coffee table. They all took a plate and started eating, Logan sitting himself down in Remus’s lap, one of Remus’s arms sliding around his waste. They ate and talked, sometimes laughed. Roman braiding Virgil’s hair when he finished his food, Virgil surprisingly let him do so while he ate, drinking his coffee. Logan sipped on his tea letting Remus have some when he asked, wondering why he didn’t just drink his own drink. They all talked about random things, each cuddling their lovers.

“Virgie, you need to sleeeeeeeeeep” A sleepy half awake Roman whined to his husband who was beside him on his phone. It was 3 AM, Virgil did not wanna sleep at all, he just wanted to keep scrolling through Tumblr all night. Roman had fallen asleep around 10 PM he had woken up when Virgil had accidently turned up the volume on a game he was playing that was loud. Which made Roman snap awake, Virgil was not pouting at Roman. Roman had given up on trying to talk to Virgil to get off his phone, so he decided to take it away for a while. Roman sleepily and slopply kissed Virgil’s cheek and held him close in his arms, Virgil pouting still trying to be fake upset at Roman but that wasn’t working out so he wrapped himself around Roman’s torso, Roman smiled a bit and held Virgil close, making sure their blanket was over the both of them as they cuddled. Both falling asleep nearly seconds after that.
