Organised by french streamer Amine along Baghera and Etoiles and many others are gathering funds for Médecins Sans Frontières and specifically for their actions in the Congo, Lebanon , Sudan and Palestine!! I know I turned to Ave Mujica content for January, but I wanna take a little time to talk about something that happened this weekend, because it didn't really spread outside of France.

From the 17th to the 19th of January, there was an event called Stream for Humanity going on, organised by the French streamer Amine (Aminematue on Twitch). This event was meant to raise funds for MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières) to use to help Palestine, Lebanon, Sudan, and Congo.

They raised 3 480 487 euros.

This is not intended to brag or anything, it does not mean that we have to stop spreading the words of Palestinian families, especially not with the "ceasefire".

It's just impressive to see that influencers and regular people came together, all to support and aid others who need it. In a time where figures of power try to do everything to separate us, it's really heartwarming.

I'd say we're very lucky, in France, to have such a tight-knit group of streamers who know they have influence (as in, they are influencers), and use their ressources to do what no government (especially not the French one), no institution, no company nor ceo did.

If they really wanted to, they could. It's that easy. And the Stream for Humanity is a proof of that. Let's not give up hope, because there will always be people who care and who will do their best to help others.

And considering this is such a huge amount of money, Amine and MSF agreed that they must track its flow to make sure it's used correctly, so most likely we'll get some news about it in the future.

That's all I wanted to say, I'll most likely post other small things about Stream for Humanity because it was really amazing, but here's the main message to get :)

Y a quasi 3.500.000€ qu'on été récoltés c'est ouf quand même! Surtout si on se dit que les 3/4 des dons c'est pas des gens qu'ont des gros moyens qui les ont fait!

J'espère ça va sauver plein de gens!

Moi j'ai pas pu faire de dons, j'suis grave déçue, mais j'ai pas de cartes bancaire donc compliqué.. Mais j'essaie de soutenir un max.

Puis sans parler des dons, les streams étaient hilarants! J'ai jamais autant switch de streams en stream par contre MDRR

Puis le match omg! Ça m'a foutu les frissons les discours et l'énergie qu'avaient les tribunes!

Breff, j'ai kiffé de ouf, ça soutient que la bonne cause, j'ai pu renta mon week end asf meme si ducoup j'ai quasi pas révisé du week end (aled) mdrr, j'pense ce genre d'event ça montre que l'humanité et l'entraide existe encore et c'est vraiment beau!

Then you found your entrance door blocked by dozens of packages.

As it turns out, a lot of your monstrous fans had the same intention. You decided to start doing unboxing videos, clearing out your ever-flowing queue of gifts.

Some are innocently sweet. The plant creatures prefer surprising you with fresh bouquets of flowers or harvests. The bird hybrids usually go for shiny, eye-catching jewelry. You’ve received a cursed locket from a deep-sea kraken, and a haunted doll from one of your cheeky ghost followers.

Other packages are bolder in their intention.

���Is this a promise ring?” you wondered out loud, fumbling to comment on the unexpectedly romantic gesture and trying to hide the deep blush.

The worst part about these particular offerings is that they always seem to trigger a certain jealousy within the other viewers; it results in some increasingly ridiculous attempts to one-up the previous. You had to threaten to stop doing these videos once you found a wedding gown in one of the boxes.

If you've decided to delve into adult content for your monster fans, the variety of presents expands even further.

At first, you mostly received additional props for your content. Maybe a revealing outfit, or a pair of handcuffs. It didn't take long for your patrons to gain more confidence in their choices. You've hesitantly unboxed different kinds of sex toys, with little handwritten notes begging asking you to use them in your upcoming livestreams.

The turning point was when you revealed a custom-made dildo, bearing the shape of your viewer's own appendage. The chat had briefly gone silent while you gawked at the bizarre toy. Of course, they thought begrudgingly, what better gift than a way to fuck you from a distance?

Needles to say, you woke up to piles upon piles of similar "donations". You wondered if there's some erotic shop out there confused at its sudden spike in sales.

"Are you guys serious?" you whined, pulling out a large, silicone tentacle the size of your torso. "At this point I think I've collected all of your genitals."

"Mine hasn't shipped yet", a viewer comments.

I don’t know much about the concept itself, but this reminds me a little of a chapter from Suicide Boy.

You decide to use one of those streaming websites for human food mukbangs. You don’t have high hopes for anything, you just want a little company while eating because monster realm has been rather lonely. Who knows, maybe this way you’ll even find other fellow humans.

The channel has a slow start. There’s the occasional curious passerby, and the loyal handful. You enjoy the quiet, idle chatter with your small following.

“Nice costume, how did you make it?” you mumble, staring at one of the messages you received from a new viewer. “I’m sorry, I don’t understand you. I’m not wearing any costume.”

You can almost feel a subtle change. The chatroom goes quiet for a tense minute, as if the monsters are weighing your statement and its implication. Unbeknownst to you, there’s multiple posts being published about a genuine human streamer who’s now been discovered.

The next day, you stare at the number of viewers in disbelief. Where did all these monsters come from?

“Can I send you monster food to try?” One viewer writes.

“Where’s the tipping option?”

“Can you prove this isn’t a costume? We can tell if you take your clothes off.”

You read as your original followers furiously argue with the newcomers, citing your dignity. “(Y/N) doesn’t need to prove anything to you”, they conclude with solemnity. They reassure you, in private, that you can choose to post whatever you want, and they will support you regardless.

What a mess. Your eyes scan the offers, from innocent suggestions to downright shameless proposals. And they keep pouring in.
