this all being said about the light dragon and how it is definitely the biggest highlight of totk (for me at least), i Do think a lot of the reaction to it Is dependent on botw and zelda's characterisation from that game... a lot of which is kind of lacking in totk because of her more passive role (e.g. you are told about her + see her actions after they have already happened)

like. if you didn't already really like zelda and were sold on her relationship with link (and not even just from a shipping zelink perspective, like. just UNDERSTANDING they have a strong bond from everything they've gone through together) then i'm not sure if any of that stuff in totk would've hit as hard as it did. the game does very little to build on what we already know about them, which i think is both a letdown to new players (which. i am not sure why they are playing the sequel before botw, but that is how totk acts most of the time lmao) and returning ones, and as time goes on it's become harder for me to blame people for not caring for it as much.

what a truly odd game

#which also makes it bizarre that totk treats itself like its Not a sequel. even though it is at the same time #ugh the names are escaping me but i am pretty sure this is a thing thats happened in other Sequel games too #just acting like the first one never happened or only when its convenient. stuff like that #i would loveeee to know how bad covid hit totks plot development or whatever. if anything. else they may have been planning #theyve gone on record saying that apparently the plan was for zelda to Always have turned into a dragon #and assumedly the beginning/ending parallel as well (eg hands and link catching her)#but i have to assume or at least HOPE that the buildup may have been stronger. idk man its so strange truly #ANYWAY SORRY FOR RAMBLING but i do find this discussion intriguing. and i LIKED totk even despite my criticisms #its genuinely some of the most fun ive had in a video game ever and creating content for it and talking about it has made me very happy #this being said. there are some choices that were made and i do not and likely will not ever understand them #because they said nah we're done now. bye <3 #like oh okay. thank you aonuma. can i at least have wind waker on switch now please #personal.txt

I don't understand the lego ninjago movie

#like it was so. it did the thing where they couldn't be sincere for very long so everything felt strange #like how am I supposed to believe Garmadon wants to change for Lloyd if he won't even say his name right #He didn't even know what Lloyd looked like. Like what do u mean that was his greatest regret we did 20 minutes of Garmadon doesn't care bit #If it were all just jokes then that would be one thing but it's the fact that they tried to be like.#''lloyd is the ninja of life and like life connects everything he connects his friends and family''#like you did NOT earn that. The ninja barely felt like friends #When all of your setup was a joke then the payoff fells so fake man #I watch so much lego media just to satiate my dark curiosity. why does everything i get really into always end up being so god damn niche. by the year 2035 i am going to be blogging exclusively about the interpersonal relationships between the pillbugs and snails hiding underneath the bricks lining the flowerbeds in my parent's garden.

#im falling hard into the virvox guys rn sowwy. i like em a lot hee hee. i didnt realize just how small the fanbase for em was tho #actually i didnt realize how small the company that makes them were either. i got so used to the yamahas and cryptons of the vsynth world #that i forgot that like honestly. a lot of the voicebank makers and some of the software makers themselves #theyre like companies of like maybe 5 employees with like no funding LOL not a bad thing but i forgor #but yeah i was looking up to see if there was like. a fanon reason why people shipped takehiro and ryusei? not judging because i get it #i like took one look at the virvox guys and immediately slotted them as a very strange boyband (a catboy and a middle aged dragon man....)#and also took a second look at takehiro and ryusei and assumed they were childhood friends. i saw the doujin flash before my eyes #but also looking into it it seems the fanbase is also like. 20 people. and like 3 of them ship that #and at least one person ships whiteCUL and ryusei? why not LOL when it comes to vsynths sometimes a ship can be spearheaded by like #one very prolific artist HGDJKDFSHDJK which actually reminds me. honestly i dont really have many vsynth ships #i guess i dont really partake in a lot of shipping stuff deeply but i like romance!! you know i like love stories. you know this #i mean i keep calling the eclipsed sounds characters the celestial polycule for a reason tho. im not joking around about this #this is serious to me. they are stars and moons and suns and together they hang out and kiss. in the sky. this is serious to me #also i do like solaria x eleanor forte actually. its a bit random but i understand it. i understand it #and of course the aformentioned takehiro x ryusei. and also the whole virvox polycule. get that old man in here too #(what do they call people like me. a multishipper? i do that a lot. you know this from my otome game fanart LOL)#OH and i dont remember either of their names rn but i like that the cevio bank anju inami voiced has like a big fat crush on like #that girl with the brown hair. i like that theyre like. besties (turning into something more wink wonk)#thinks with all my brain. i think thats it. i dont know why theres so little. i think its because i think of them as like #audio sample libraries first and foremost and i forget about their characters and relationships LOL #but im not against the idea of making some audio sample libraries kiss...... not at all #picks up a guitar sampler and a sound effect cd. presses them together.#hee hee. they kiss

a great number of sphynxes have that sort of 'human face on animal body' build to them bc thule got stuck on how to best make a mockery of drakes for a long while. humanity as a whole in alamannis seen mostly as a companion piece to vennettes- less varied and more delicate, yet inextricably linked with the most widespread species of the planet- so with drake relations to vennettes always just a bit Shit somehow insinuating that even humanity was more close to divine dragonhood than they was a stinger. a bit too petty though they eventually settled on instead an ominous fullcircle warning of the future their constant ambitions would bring with the more corvid leanings that the vascohse would end up with themselves
