Kindest reminder that aside from Sky and Wild, none of the others have even heard of the Goddess Hylia before meeting up. The goddesses they would invoke, if any, would be either Farore, Din, or Nayru.
#linked universe#it’s a minor pet peeve of mine#mostly I think by people who started the series with BotW and didn’t realize Hylia was formerly just a lake#Nintendo had a chance to introduce Hylia to the Downfall timeline and aside from an unnamed statue crumbling in a basement they didn’t#this also adds to my “Legend does NOT have beef with Hylia” headcanon#to all of them Hylia is just Sky’s girlfriend except Wild who is probably very weirded out by this whole thing#“oh your girlfriend is a goddess that’s nice” vs “wait you’re engaged to THE Hylia should I be worshipping you?!” “please don’t”#at if Hylia’s present in the Downfall timeline she’s not actively worshipped#and if she’s present in the other two I can see Wind mistaking her statue for a strange Rito#and Twilight still being the goddessless heathen that he is /j#they start a minor religious debate every time it comes up#ESPECIALLY Four who has met the three goddesses incarnate and Wind who swears he saw them when he opened the Tower of the Gods#and Legend who is 50% sure the Oracles were them and 50% sure they at least were connected#Wild saying they are saying the names of the dragons wrong#then Sky saying yes there are dragons but Wild YOU are saying them wrong#that one comic I think by ovekaart with them all being like “you mean the lake?” is on point
