Storybook Page 1

Once upon a time, a war nearly caused the death of all humans.

The humans, in an attempt to stay alive, prayed to their God.

The God ignored the pleas of the humans.

A young skeleton saw this scene, finding it cruel that the human's God did not listen to them.

So the skeleton approached the humans with intent to help them.

The humans took the skeleton as a threat, so they attacked.

As a spear stabbed through the skeleton's SOUL he was thrown into the cold waters.

As the life faded from the child's sockets an orca swam by. That was the child's favorite animal...

The reason EAH is a children’s franchise is because only a child who Doesn’t Understand Things could possibly consider Royal being the right stance

#like the show will try to push that both rebels and royals have a point (case in point the whole ‘roybel’ thing) but it doesn’t work #because in the end it’s made clear which choice is right #like being royal is only shown to benefit the privileged with ‘good endings’ while being a rebel is for the benefit of everyone #and I’ve seen some claims that people can be royal by wanting their own destiny but letting others choose #but that specific line of thinking is present in maddie and cedar to some extant and they’re literally two of the main rebels in the series #identifying as a royal is saying ‘I think everyone has to follow their story no matter what ending they get’#and being a royal made sense when the idea of they’re being consequences for going against the stories was present #but those possible consequences are never really explored and in the end it turns out they’re isn’t any consequences actually #and then what’s the point of identifying either royal or rebel after the storybook pages get ripped out?#everyone chooses their own destiny but there isn’t really a system anymore anyways so both titles become devoid of meaning #so what’s the point of a character being a ‘rebel’? you’re not rebelling against the norm by choosing your own path #or believing others should because that’s what everyone gets now #and what’s the point of a character being a ‘royal’? the stories don’t have power anymore so what’s the point in everyone continuing #to play them out anymore other than maintaining status #the only people who have actual credibility for being royal are the fairies cause they’ll literally disappear but that only applies to othe #fairies and isn’t actually established in the show so how canon is it?#rotomtalks #ever after high #eah

You know ive been thinking lately and honestly gfb didn't have to make Snatcher an actual human design they could've just shrouded him in shadows or use a silhouette instead they gave us THIS peckneck who I've analyzed to death

Back on my Homutena Agenda

Homutena is truly the sinking crack ship of dreams, because the girls are not even close to being on the same page:

Utena - meeting the mysterious transfer student who joined their class and unable to feel anything but drawn to her and, most of all, sympathetic. When she talks about her dear friend the tone is painfully familiar, from the time it crushed her own throat reminding her of the coffin. It is a...simpler attraction, unmuddled by Princes, Rose Brides and Duels - through which Utena starts opening the door to her own queerness. But not is all it seems. She begins to notice that Homura doesn't so much see her as sees through her towards something or someone else. A dream, an ideal. It's painful. Sounds familiar?

Homura - experiencing a mental downward spiral in which she feels not only that she's failed Madoka, but that she's forever out of reach. So she ends up latching onto the girl who reminds her so much of dear Madoka and showed her kindness in the strange world she's stumbled in. Thus begins a new vicious cycle, where Homura projects onto Utena and seeks to save her from Akio's scheme. She could not protect Madoka, but maybe she can help Utena - this girl out of the Law of Cycle's jurisdiction. Right? Utena is not so much an individual, as a chance for redemption

Anthy and Madoka have very different reactions to this mess.
