I got it done !! Archie be struttin' and I am super proud!! I am highly aware that the chest and the stomach are extremely stiff. HOWEVER, I couldn't be bothered to adjust. I wanted to, but... I was ready to toss procreate dreams (nightmares) out the window. So it is what it is. I'll keep that in mind next time. Hopefully dreams will have some major quality of life updates within this year, but rn, I just cannot will myself to use the program in its current state. I wanted to tug my hair out LMAO.

PLEASE EXPLAIN ARCHIE KILLING A SECOND (?) JUGHEAD. THANK YOU MO

theres actually three jugheads but thats not rly relevant here. so jughead in the rivervale universe discovers that rivervale is actually a derivative universe to the original riverdale universe created from hiram setting off a bomb underneath archies bed when he was kissing betty. (this is bc they were able to prove on video that hiram is a murderer and exiled him from the town). and the riverdale and rivervale universes are bleeding into each other and will both eventually implode if not fully separated. he finds this out bc he discovers a second jugheads corpse earlier in the episode. jughead believes the best way to separate the universes is to recreate the birth of rivervale as closely as possible but an inverse meaning that he has to make vughead canon and he and veronica have to make out w each other and get exploded by a bomb under the bed. veronica agrees and they plan it out. but archie shows up and its revealed that hes the one who killed the other jughead (he also killed veronica and cheryl). this is bc in rivervale everythings different bc magic and stuff exists and thus no one who dies really stays dead (which was proven in this universe bc archie came back to life despite being sacrificed by all the rivervale residents for the annual maple harvest the trees were not producing maple syrup as per usual and they needed to sacrifice someone pure of heart.) but since archie was the one present at rivervales creation aka the explosion under his bed. in a way this makes archie one of the main villains of rivervale bc despite the risk of the universe imploding he has to prevent the universes from beign separated bc then he gets sent back to the regular riverdale universe and ultimately he believes his dad can come back in this universe (archies dad died in s4 its actually really sad bc the actor who plays archies dad died irl and they tributed that whole episode to him :( so bc of that obviously archies mission is doomed to fail.) but then betty shoots archie before he can choke this jughead to death. but then the second jughead comes back to life and solves it by making the current jughead basically keep the rivervale universe alive as long as he never stops writing aka being a human battery for the town and the other jughead loses his memory of doing any of this and goes back to the riverdale universe . and then the third jughead of course is the rivervale jughead also unaware of the wider narrative. theres also angel jughead but we dont need to get into that bc thats not really jughead it merely uses him as a visage.

Tenth ep review!!

OH SHIT OH FUCK I GOT REALLY BEHIND! AND HOLYYYYY SHIT!!

I am so happy someone finally tapped into the natural horror that is mister blobby. I used to really love him as a child (though suspiciously, i struggle to recall the shows i saw him in) and now he is a figure that haunts me into adulthood. Im glad jonny is bringing his terror to more international audiences, ive enjoyed fielding questions about the designers sanity from my overseas friends. The best part is it geniunely doesnt sound like theyve changed all that much just added some murders in. I perked up when i heard “get buried” only to realise it was “get berry-ed”.

I wonder if Lena purposely chose Bonzo as Gwen’s first assignment as he’s certainly on the more confronting end of supernatural. All things considered she managed quite well and honestly “can he read” has to be a valid question when confronted with a creature with costume eyes.

IM SO CONVINCED THE OFFICE IS IN THE NORTH. the trek from down south to manchester is a pain in the arse AND Alice’s actress is northern. I have authority on this as i am also a northerner /lh. Sorry this is a little off topic im just buzzin that the stories are even closer to home this time round. Sorry what was i talkin abt? THE ARCHIVES!

Spooky spooky office!! I cant believe they found a plaque that started with “archi-“ in an ARCHIVE and didnt think “archivist” . I am STILL convinced alice is keeping things from everyone but given the spooky breathing and sound design after they left i truly dont blame her. I wonder if the device we heard them on in what i presume was the archivists office was a tape recorder.

Watched Transformers Rise of the Beasts yesterday so why not have two Transformers flavored Trollhunters scenarios?

Troll or More?

Jim is a Cybertronian that accidentally ends up on Earth during the Arthurian Period when he was just a Sparkling. The misplaced child scans a peculiar depiction of a troll to serve as his beast mode. Jim thinks he's one since they're the only species close to him in retrospect. I.e made of inorganic material such as stone even though he's metal.

Depiction is Beast Jim in design since it honestly feels perfect for this scenario albeit with some minor changes like his hair being Troll Jim's in a more mullet like mane. His armor plating resembles a kilt, arm brace like gauntlets that conceal blades on the side, his spikes are actually pieces to collapsible saber and bow. The drawing in this scenario is actually a jab at King Arthur for his inhuman cruelty towards magic and magical folk.

Jim's true form resembles canon Troll Jim even to his plates mimicking the Eclipse armor albeit dark blue in color instead of black. He usually stays in beast form since it's better to navigate smaller places than constantly crouching or crawling in normal form.

There are shared traits between both. Jim's horns have hollow tips that shoot out smoke to even fire depending on his temper or if he uses a lot of energy. His later vehicle form added tires to the elbows and thighs, car doors for bladed shoulder pad, while the chest plate now has blacked out windows that faintly show the glow of Jim's spark.

Jim doesn't really fit in with the locals as many saw him to be unnatural. Even trolls who either fled or at worst chased the poor boy away with extreme violence. There is one, well, two people who weren't afraid: Douxie and Archie.

Both eventually bump into each other. An encounter that leads to a powerful brotherly bond between the three. One day, they find out Jim can not only survive on a mysterious energy(Energon) but he can live off of ambient magic in the air. Things are good until Merlin discovers the Cybertronian and chases him away much to the other two's horror upon finding out later.

Jim sneaks onto a boat that leads to what would be North America. From there, he became a roaming vagabond who travels across the two continents. Jim inspired plenty of legends or cryptid sightings by accident but his most well-known being the "Night Hauler".

A car carrier type truck that appears at night and has the visage of a monster in the driver seat. Some reports said a large 'beast' rides on the back waiting to hitch a unlucky car for a trip to hell. This was Jim being a little shit as someone tried to break into him once. He just copied a normal one car tow truck though his Beast Alt gave this form some monstrous flairs.

Jim ends up in Arcadia 10 years before the events of Trollhunters. He hides out at a car business and is accidentally purchased by one Barbara Lake. She, of course, discovers her new truck actually being a teenage Cybertronian when Jim decides to give the woman the ride of her life.

The common (unspoken) tradition throughout the series where the unlucky human gets taken on an extreme ride by their soon to be protector. Barbara's was no exception as Jim took her EVERYWHERE. Across the roads, over bridges and even down a rocky cliff like a literal highway to hell.

He expected to scare Barbara off with this but he gets scolded instead. Even when Jim goes into Beast mode in an attempt to intimidate her, she just gives him the mom look. Curiosity overriding common sense leads to the young Cybertronian to become Barbara's protector.

Jim won't be the Trollhunter despite how funny that will be. It's Strickler as our robot boy is completely unaware about trolls being in Arcadia. The soon to be Avocado Dad is trying to figure out what to do during a date and accidentally discovers his girlfriend's car is alive. Jim still befriends Toby and gets adopted by everyone's favorite doctor.

What is different is that he reunites with Douxie who also gets brought into the Lake Family alongside Archie. Jim still a professional chef as the house was remodeled to have taller ceilings then just be reinforced alongside the stairs. Plus he's very stubborn even when he kept shattering eggs at the beginning. The boy is gonna take care of his human mother and new siblings, damnit!

Will any other Cybertronians show up? Yes but probably after Trollhunters or during S3. No clashes between Autobots and Decepticons until later however Jim does meet an Autobot that brings a startlingly revelation.

Overall one hell of a ride from start to finish. What continuity I will use is unknown though. 🤔

My Motorcycle Is A Robot

When Jim is six years old, a friend of his mom drops off a strange black and gold motorcycle as a gift. At first Barbara didn't want it until she figures it could be Jim's when he gets his driver's license. (In California, the lowest driving age is sixteen with the right requirements.)

On one fateful night, Jim and his best friend find out the motorcycle is actually a Autobot by the name of Prowl. (Yes! It's Prowl from Transformer Animated! He ended up in the Trollhuntersverse after the series finale for the show.)

The three become friends with the ninja becoming the protector for both families. Barbara doesn't find out about Prowl until she is chosen to be the next Trollhunter. Jim had accidentally eavesdropped on her first encounter with Blinky and AAARRRGGHH.

Thus he becomes a vigilante to help his mom albeit with Toby immediately following alongside Prowl. Although the cat is out of the bag when Nomura comes over to assassinate Jim. (Both boys sneak into the museum like in canon but to retrieve Prowl's keepsake than take out goblins.)

The Cybertronian and Draal bump into each other as they go to repel the Changeling assassin. Can I just say it was completely awkward between everyone once they could discuss the massive revelation in safety? At least the three are now part of the team.

Draal gets adopted alongside Prowl by Barbara since the two are still considered 'young' despite the vast difference in age. Jim ends up becoming half troll as he dives after his mother in the 'House Divided' episode. Merlin had exploited her love towards her three sons so she follows through with it.

(Prowl shows up instead of Draal so he avoids the brainwashing and canon death. The Cybertronian knows what his troll brother's mindset would lead to disaster without any interference. Angor Rot falls under Gunmar's command early to make up for the change.)

Like with Troll or More, Autobots alongside Decepticons will show up. When it happens is most likely during the Eternal Night with just an Autobot. I don't know which continuity though as much as I love a reunion for Prowl and his old companions, a fresh start would be better.

It's either the movieverse set up by Bumblebee, Transformers Cybertron, Prime albeit with certain parts cut off or something else since I haven't watched any new Transformers yet.

⊹₊ ⋆ ( archie renaux, demi man, he/they, twenty7 ) i think noa parekh just walked by! wow, they really are an archie renaux lookalike! they’ve been here in salem for twenty seven years, and seem to hang around salem marina a lot. i heard they’re a fisherman. when asked to describe themselves they’re likely to say calloused hands, early morning fog rolling over the sea, an unspoken alliance with the cats at the docks.

I am SOOO excited to finally be able to post this chapter! This has one of my favorite scenes in it. (Looking for artists to commission it so if you know anyone, let me know!) A LOT happens in this chapter. People get closer. Things start to get MESSY. Please enjoy!

The world felt like it had slowed to a stop. Jughead had been able to make his way over to the cordoned off area, where only a rope acted as the barrier between the two groups. In the third period Southside High had scored a touchdown meaning that it was up to the bulldogs, namely Jason Blossom and Archie Andrews to score the winning touchdown. But the Timberwolves defense had kicked into high gear and kept Jason on his back for most of the fourth quarter. The frenzy from both groups were ravenous and his father’s deputies could only do so much to keep the crowd on their respective sides. 

He felt the punch before he knew that anyone was a target. Fangs caught him across the rope so he wouldn’t garrotte himself on it. Jughead had tried to get the Serpents away from the mess, but Sweet Pea’s big mouth was making them choose sides. The last thing they needed was a house divided, especially against the pompous and arrogant northsiders. But the brawl didn’t happen from inside the house.  

The wind inside of him rushed out and he vaguely felt himself being pulled out of the fray. The wet grass felt cool against his skin and Fangs’ blurry visage was asking him to count how many fingers he was holding up. “I’m sorry, man! But you’ve got plausible deniability!” He heard Fangs yelling at him. When did Fangs learn those words? Did he teach them to him or was it Toni? “Let your Riverdale friends come get you!” And then he was gone.

Ghosts in the Water || Marcus Solo

Location: Near the lighthouse

Triggers: Familial death

Summary: Marcus sees the ghost of a familiar face during the eclipse

It was a quiet day, relatively calm. The fog helped keep people away from the ocean for the most part, but Marcus also had to remain extra vigilant of ships that were disoriented. Mercifully, it seemed any ships out on the water were holding position until the fog passed, as there were no signs of any vessels as the lighthouses signal cut through the heavy cloud.

Marcus was just about to head back into the lighthouse to gather his things and end his watch early for the day when he spotted a small mass floating in the water, about 50 feet from the shore. It was far too large to be a person, but also smaller than a boat. Perhaps a kayak or canoe or something, but who would take a vessel like that into the ocean during thick fog? Someone with a death wish, certainly. He tried to get a closer look, when suddenly it began moving towards him quickly. It was almost as if it had a motor attached. No…Marcus realized it was swimming at him.

As the figure came closer, Marcus’s blood ran ice cold. It was a large elephant seal, with a thick, dark hide, and blue eyes that shimmered with recognition and familiarity. As it drew closer, he could barely make a large white scar running down its upper chest. He knew what was coming as the gossamer figure made landfall and suddenly stood on two legs, becoming human once again before his very eyes.

“Archer…” Was all he could say as he looked upon the visage of his cousin. The one who had been murdered in front of him almost 20 years ago now.

“Been a while, Marcus. You’ve had one hell of a year, haven’t you?” his cousin asked, taking in the scenery around him. “Guess we’re both dead now in one sense or another, eh? At least as far as the Navy is concerned…”

“What are you-” Marcus had so many questions, but didn’t know how to ask any of them. “How are you-”

“It’s the eclipse. Apparently it allows you to see me, which I think is crazy! This place is pretty neat, gives spirits a lot of avenues to communicate with everyone.”

While Marcus was thankful for the reunion, he couldn’t help but think of whatever dead souls might be looking for him; with less than well meaning intentions.

As if reading his mind, and maybe he was, Archer chimed in “Don’t worry about…him. I’ve seen and talked to him since he passed on. Congratulations, by the way. Apparently you’re not at the top of his list of people he has an ax to grind with, so he’s harassing other people right now. Besides,” he continued, giving a little flex for emphasis. “He may be bigger than you, but he knows I’m bigger than him and not to mess with you”

“I didn’t mean to…” To do what exactly? Kill him? Marcus stabbed him in the back when he was fighting with a rather powerful siren. Could he really say he didn’t mean to kill William? That would, of course, be a lie. Yet still, he certainly didn’t want to kill him either.

“You did what needed to be done. You stood your ground and made the world a better place. That is what a Fremont does.” Archie replied simply. “Grandpa’s been watching you with me. We’re both so proud of you, Marcus. You got dealt a very shitty hand, but you rose to the occasion and manned up without a CO hovering over your shoulder telling you to do so. You’re doing what’s right even if it flies in the face of authority.”

The words seemed almost foreign coming from another Fremont. His father had always emphasized status and image above all else. The “Fremont name” had always been tied to things such as his military accolades and how he was viewed. He always he felt he was a failure for leaving all of those things behind. Then, finally, his cousin said something that made Marcus certain he could read his thoughts to some extent.

“Listen, I don’t have much more time so I’ll just get to it.Your place is here, Marcus. This is where you belong, as chaotic and dangerous as it may be. Think of the lives you’ve saved, the people you’ve met, the course of events here that have changed since you came to town! I know you can’t go back home, but maybe that isn’t such a bad thing. Maybe staying off the grid in the town shrouded in mystery won’t be so bad for you.”

Marcus had thought about leaving more times than he could count. It only made sense to him. The town had actively tried to kill him enough times that he figured he’d take his chances with the military instead. But then he always thought of Elias, who was now off on his own journey with no real hint of a return. He thought of those he had met and his duties here along the beach. Maybe his home was here after all. Sure, it was by no means stable or peaceful. But as time went on, Marcus felt more at ease with that fact. Perhaps his cousin was right after all.

“Archer…” he then turned towards his cousin, trying not to make eye contact with the scar that now ran across his chest. “Thank you. I think I really did need to hear that. Tell Pop Pop I said hi too.”

“I sure will. Take it easy Marcus,” and with that, his translucent form faded even further until Marcus was greeted with nothing in front of him yet again. Swallowing hard, he resumed his trek back to the lighthouse. While it may be turbulent, dangerous, and wild, this was home. And for the first time since he arrived, Marcus was perfectly fine with that.
