tumblr really likes showing me madoka content which means i am once again thinking about homura and how much i love her.

she lives through hell over and over and over hoping that eventually she'll be able to save madoka because she loves her so much that nothing else matters.

then in an unexpected turn of events madoka actually does survive but becomes the law of cycles. for a second you think homura's accepted that outcome, but no.

she doesn't just need to save madoka, she needs madoka to be with her. the law of cycles has saved countless girls from unbearable suffering but she doesn't care. and not to mention who knows what kind of repercussions messing with a timeless, omnipotent universal force would have? but again, she. doesn't. care. she needs madoka and if the entire universe needs to burn for that happen, she'll burn it without a second though.
