My prediction for the Homestuck pilot is that it’ll largely encompass act 1 and have some jade scenes in between because it’ll be trying to show the story in a more linear way. Then it’ll end with a teaser of Karkat

I find it funny that so many people in the homestuck fandom are legitimately worried about hellaverse fans joining their fandom because of the pilot but I have yet to see one hellaverse fan actually be interested in Homestuck because of this lmao

I hope this pilot SUCCEEDS I hope we get a full Homestuck animated series I believe it will be an alright adaptation for what it does I don’t think the characters will get horribly butchered!!

the unofficial homestuck collection is still available for download. it's right there when you google it

vivzie is the executive producer of the show. she isn't listed as a writer, artist/animator, or director

as executive producer, vivzie is presumably in charge of hiring people, but notably there is a voice director separate from her (richard horvitz) that will most likely be in charge of casting

the director is skye henwood; she is an animation director and writer at spindlehorse

the hiveswap act 3 team and the show's team are largely made up of different people (there are exceptions ofc such as andrew presumably overseeing both things because it's xeir story), their productions likely don't affect each other

we are getting more hiveswap news in october

the homestuck website is still being worked on (quote from miles on july 1st: "I’m happy to announce that we should hopefully be operational again pretty soon, so please stay tuned for that and we’ll keep you updated when it’s finally back up and running.") i could have sworn that someone named a specific guy from the hsbc web development team who was working on it i just can't find the exact source for this at the moment. so the show does not impact this project either
