Stephen Kapos, a child survivor of the Holocaust, fights passionately for “Never Again” to mean “Never Again For Anyone,” for Palestinian liberation, and for the liberation of Judaism from the fascist ideology of zionism. He is just one of a long line of antizionist Jewish Holocaust survivors who have fought against zionism and for Palestinian human rights.
Repost from @pulseofpal:
At the London protest marking one year of the ongoing genocide in Palestine, a Holocaust survivor shared his solidarity with the Palestinian people. He debunked claims that these marches are unsafe for Jews and highlighted the parallels between his own experiences during the Holocaust and the suffering faced by families in Gaza today. His message was a poignant call to end the atrocities and demand justice for the oppressed.

I can’t believe that I have to say this but I guess I have to (since I keep seeing people say this kind of sick shit on different social media platforms)…
The I/P war is not a Palestine holocaust. Okay?! It’s not even close to a fucking holocaust. It’s a really horrible war in which innocent people from BOTH sides have sadly lost their lives. This WAR would not have happened if Hamas didn’t attack Israel and killed/kidnapped a whole bunch of innocent people (Israelis and non-Israelis)… did yall forget Hamas started this fucking war?? Not only that but other terrorist organizations also decided to jump in and join in on the war to wipe out all of Israel. These fuckers AKA Hamas doesn’t care about their civilians. It’s been proven multiple times that Hamas uses their civilians as human shields. Those who tried to fight back were killed by Hamas.
It’s not a Palestine holocaust. The holocaust AKA the Shoah happened during WW 2 when the nazies wanted to kill all of European Jews. (Because surprise- us Jews were blamed once again for every single problem that was happening around that time- kinda like how we are now being blamed for what’s currently happening… history does love to repeat itself- I wonder why). Jews were sent to ghettos and camps (work and death camps) all throughout Europe. A majority of them were brutally murdered by the nazies. Those who escaped and survived the shoah either went to Israel or fled to other countries like the USA or Canada. I was lucky that my great grandparents fled before WW2 (they left Germany due to anti Jewish hate crimes that was getting worse and worse…). But sadly my other family members did not leave Germany/Poland and were sent to the camps. Only a few survived.
So for the love of- just please stop comparing this war to the holocaust. Okay?! Because it’s not. Holy fucking shit some of yall need to know your history….

anyway like idk who needs to hear this but as a goy who also used to be “antizionist” i am begging y’all to just be normal about the jews please. you can and should advocate for the safety and self determination of palestinians without engaging in centuries-old antisemitic rhetoric. there is nothing any one jew could do, no opinion they could hold, that justifies the absolute bigoted vitriol being directed at them online right now

This post comes from Jewish pride always on Instagram 🇮🇱
They Do Not represent the Jewish people!!!
They embarrass the Jewish people!
Anti semitic Jews who hate their own is disgusting to me🤮 and it makes me sad too 😞
At the end of the day if there were still gas chambers , they would be side by side in it with those they hate .
Tragic 💔
They are homophobic ( Israel is not )
They blame Jews for the holocaust yet also deny the holocaust 🤔
Ignorant anti semitic and they are used as token Jews to hate their own kind 💔💔💔
Tragic and disgusting at the same time !
They stood side by side with people holding Hezbollah flags screaming death to Israel and yet a lot of them live in Israel 🤔
How stupid is that ?
Please don't lump us together for most of us will NEVER be your token Jews !

"Today as we recognize International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we are confronted with a devastating truth: What we vowed never to allow to happen again is happening, right now.
Today, Gaza is a shell of its former self. Entire neighborhoods have been wiped from the face of the Earth, replaced by a gray wasteland unfit for human life: bustling markets and crowded cafes, libraries home to thousands of precious books, bakeries filled with the smell of fresh bread — all of it turned to ash.
Today, Israel and the U.S. will share solemn words about the Holocaust. They will tell us that we must never again allow this kind of evil to occur — even as both countries stand trial, respectively, for carrying out and complicity in the genocide of Palestinians.
One of the worst truths of the Holocaust is that such horrors can happen. It is entirely possible for a genocide to be carried out while the world watches, and it’s happened more than once since the world vowed “never again.”
Nearly four months into the genocide in Gaza, this is what we know."

As a queer, neurodivergent, disabled goy, I have to say, it really takes a monumentally callous level of ignorance and misunderstanding of history to speak over Jews about and attempt to co opt the deep, generational trauma of the fucking HOLOCAUST.
These groups were targeted, yes, but it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the evils of Nazism to not talk about *why.* ALL of these groups were targeted because of the Nazi belief in a huge, overarching, degenerate, worldwide Jewish conspiracy to bring down “normal” Aryan society. Jew hatred was at the root of literally every single belief and action the Nazis ever took. It was the air they breathed. Every single action they took, they took as a means to their end of eradicating Jewish existence and “influence” as they saw it, from the face of the world.
Any discussion of the Holocaust that doesn’t centre Jewish suffering as the *point* of it all is woefully inadequate and incomplete.
It is NOT about us.

Israel Is Perpetrating A Holocaust
Tumblr media
In only 357 days, Israel has displaced over 1,900,000 civilians from Gaza alone.
Hitler took 2 years, between 1938 and 1939, to displace 113,000 Jews from Germany and Austria.
If you don't think Israel is perpetrating a holocaust, you're ignoring the lessons history teaches.

After the 2006 siege on Gaza, Auschwitz survivor Hajo Meyer warned: “What is happening in Gaza is a slow-motion genocide. At first the Nazis put us in ghettos, then they moved us to work camps and concentration camps. The final solution came later in their efforts. It is painful to witness the parallels I observe between my own experience in Germany and those suffered by Palestinians today.”“The various forms of collective punishment visited upon the Palestinian people – coerced ghettoization behind a ‘security wall’; the bulldozing of homes and destruction of fields; the bombing of schools, mosques, and government buildings; an economic blockade that deprives people of the water, food, medicine, education and the basic necessities for dignified survival – force me to recall the deprivations and humiliations that I experienced in my youth. This century-long process of oppression means unimaginable suffering for Palestinians.” Gaza is a concentration camp and rapidly becoming a death camp. Gas chambers and firing lines have been replaced with bombs, tanks, and white phosphorous. We say never again for anyone. #StopGenocide #Palestine #WarsawGhettoUprising #Gaza #MarekEdelman #HolocaustRemembranceDay #WeRemember #HMD2024 #Gaza #FreeGaza #GazaUprising2023 #GazaGenocide Sign the Statement: No Final Solution in Our Name - Never Again For Anyone. - IJAN

“there’s nothing wrong in principle with jews having a homeland but not THAT homeland” where do you want them to go. if they’re not allowed to go back where they came from where do you want them to go. europe? Where they’re not from? are the sites of concentration camps where Jews “belong”? is that the “homeland” you had in mind for them? no, please, tell me. what’s a better homeland for jewish people than their literal homeland which they got driven out of in the first place

as a jew, seeing what all of these israeli leaders have said is sickening. as a jew, anti-palestinian rhetoric is sickening. as a jew, zionism is sickening.
how dare my people -- a people who've been massacred, ethnically cleansed, dehumanized, forcibly removed, and discriminated on religious grounds for their entire existence -- do the same to another people? how dare we turn our backs on them, when they suffer like we have?
i understand that so much of us have been fed zionist propaganda our entire lives; the same happened to me. i understand the desire for a homeland where we don't have to fear antisemitism at every turn; i want that too. but it doesn't take much thought to understand that a homeland for us, which actively oppresses and kills another people, is antithetical to what we want.
if you, as a member of an oppressed group, believe that your freedom and safety can only exist when you oppress another group, you are acting no better than the people who oppressed you. such a belief is horrible, and cynical, and wrong.
as a jew, i want jewish people to be happy and safe and connected to our heritage; as a jew, i also want other peoples to be happy and safe and connected to their heritage.
don't call the palestinians "amalek". you are turning us into amalek.
doesn't the torah tell us to have empathy for those beaten down by the world? doesn't the torah tell us to make the world a better place? doesn't the torah tell us to free people of their shackles and help them escape oppression?
i have so many israeli aunts and uncles and cousins; i fear for their safety. of course, my parents do as well. i'm worried that this fear, in addition to anything they were led to believe earlier in life, is placing my parents even deeper in the zionist camp. but it doesn't have to be this way! my relatives' safety does not rely on the continued oppression of gaza!
it is easy to be uninformed, to be swayed by propaganda, to blindly hope that israel was founded in good faith -- but we can't lie to ourselves. a world steeped in senseless hatred (which we are now promoting!) could never be a home for us. none of us are free, liberated, equal, until all of us are.
as a jew, to other jews, i implore that we stand with our palestinian siblings. i want us all to be happy and safe. i want us all to live in harmony -- in the holy land and around the world. that is what we all deserve. <3

Hi us jews are not specifically obligated to prevent genocide because we "know how it feels". Everyone are obligated to prevent genocide because they're fucking human.
