This, right here, is the moment I was hoping was going to be in this episode.

Millie, when Blitz is at his lowest, when he has been telling himself for years that everyone he has every been close to has been destroyed by him, says no, you're wrong. You have made me a better person. You gave me the courage to be something more than I ever thought I could be. You being so unapologetically you is inspiring. You helped me and I love and cherish our relationship because of that.

Because that's what Blitz does. He helps people.

He helped Loona get out of a horrible situation and provided for her an environment where she could thrive and be herself.

He helped Moxxie start over. Gave him a job where the murdering is (for the most part) justified (or at least done with 'good' intentions). Where he too is allowed to be himself. Musical theatre nerd and all.

He helped Stolas realize that it is okay to want. That it is okay to be selfish for once in his life and pursue something that truly makes him happy. Blitz showed him a part of himself that he either didn't know about or had locked away a very long time ago.

He needed to hear this. He needs to hear so much more of this from the important people in his life and I hope that along this journey we get to see how much he is loved by those around him and how much good he has done.

People do not talk about TruthSeekers enough

Specifically the end fight. Not only is this some of the most gorgeous fucking animation I've ever seen, not only is the use of character's leitmotifs as a combined theme brilliant and clever, but the interactions between everyone and everyone and Blitz is just fucking fantastic.

Mox and Blitz of one fucking mind at the start. Blitz talking to everyone but twisted to look Moxxie dead in the eye when he yells fuck these fuckers UP and Moxx getting him instantly.

Loona protecting her dad, Blitz not even twitching when the chain blade is hurled at him because he knows it's not going to touch him. Her using her mouth as much as her hands if not more to wreck havoc.

Millie's sheer glee at getting to kick ass and take names, as if it's all a big game, not even having to break a sweat. The fact that she never stops being sweet and affectionate and silly even in the middle of this nonsense because she's still a little doll of a woman, but you started this shit and she's going to finish it. You fucked with her Moxxie and her Blitz. The fact that she uses an axe as big as she is and just lets it's momentum carry her around, throwing herself from one person to the next.

Moxxie's mob-kid little psychotic violent side getting to shine- the silly, goofy, shy little awkward buttmonkey reminding everyone why he's here and that he is just as capable as everyone else, thank you, with this feral gremlin streak just barely under the surface of his musical-loving, well spoken, well educated presentation.

Blitz's evil fucking laugh when he fires the "Pussy Destroyer" ( which made me laugh way too hard myself.)

The way Blitz scuttles across the fight interacting with his team, stopping at each and every person to make sure they are armed, they are doing well, backing them up and cheering them on, before blitzing (hahaha) off to have his own fun with these stupid little human fuckers. It's our first real look at how capable and deadly this silly, filthy little gay nerd is- he's agile, fast as fuck, vicious as hell, and strong. Guy used to be in the circus ok?

(Also the way he scrambles over and around Loona mid-fight which I adore.)

And what I consider to be the best (and maybe most important part)

the 'Mox, cover me!' moment.

These two are back-to-back, in the middle of a heated life-or-death fight, and not only does Blitz know roughly when they'll have to reload, he goes digging in his backpack fearlessly despite danger surrounding him and Moxxie firing just above his head, fully trusting Moxxie not to miss, to- well, cover him. On top of that, these two then perform not one but two blind weapon handoffs, swap to melee in almost perfect unison, and agree, wordlessly, when to split.

And the grins on the face of everyone (except poor Moxxie) when it's over, a moment of victory and connection.

Not even getting into the protective arms Blitz puts out across his team when it seems like they are cornered and trapped, teeth bared, ready to pounce, to use claw and teeth to defend them if he has to, if that's what it takes.

Not even getting into the fact that when Stolas first appears to save them, their shadows combine to make his, turning the four of them into one being just for a moment to make something significantly more powerful.

Not to mention the way reality seems to reassert itself as soon as the lights come back on, just the way it does when you wake up from a nightmare.

This got long fast and I'm sorry, but this scene just has so much character introspection, development, and explanation with barely a spoken word and I love it.

Stolas has an S/O that's obsessed with his scent

His Scent~

You met the prince when both of you were young, Stolas was, well, a nerd. Book worm, rather, if you felt more polite.

And despite his best attempts to interact with other nobles or even other children, it became painfully obvious to the boy nobody really liked him.

A deeply painful realisation for the owls sensitive soul.

This is where you come in, you being the son of an Imp servant, would too lack any real friends, though you were raised as an Imp, so you never really expected much.

This would be how you found the young prince hiding behind the palace.

It was a nook the servants usually used when they wanted soem fresh air, or simply to hide from their work.

You of course, did the whole formal act, asking if he was alright, if he needed anything.

But when it became obvious he was sad, somberly telling you he was fine, but given his statr you didn't really believe him.

Seeing him in such a state, you'd open up to him, asking him if he was alright.

Stolas was hesitant at first, not sure if he could trust you, but when you genuinely opened up to him, he'd warm up to you, the two of you quickly talking back and forth.

It'd be through your talks, you taking e genuine interest in his books that a genuine friendship would develop, the two of you growing close.

You'd end up meeting In that spot often.

You being his only friend, and with the spot being isolated enough to not draw attention, it became your little sanctuary, the two of you spending countless hours there building a deep friendship with one and other.

But it'd be one day, the Owl having received both a verbal and physical lashing from his father, that you'd find him in tears.

You finding him in such a state did the only thing you could. You hugged him.

You'd hold him close and it seemed almost instantly you both realised 2 very important things.

1. Stolas was incredibly touch starved.

The man feeling so very strange, yet so delightful as you held him close. Your warmth and firm body making him feel incredible in your arms.

And 2. You loved his smell.

You didn't know if it was soap, or his clothes, or just his general musk, but you were instantly hooked.

You held the man for hours, the owl holding you back, adoring the contact, relishing every second of it.

This quickly became routine, the two of you meeting in the back of the palace, changing your meeting spot to the middle of the palaces hedge maze, the two of you free to get nice and close.

Literally.

Stolas would lay back on a blanket, the man holding you too his chest. You curling up against him, nuzzling his fluffy chest, adoring his stuffy yet deep scent.

You were hooked. His scent like a drug, your mind going numb as you nuzzled his chest fluff, the chest tuft like a drug for you, as you lay against him, breathing deep.

You'd spend a good bit of time with the Owl, like, not just with your nose in his fluff, the two of you spending lots of time together.

You'd play games, read or just spent time together. Enjoying each other's company.

You'd often spend time around his book, reading it together or the avian would just read it to you, you learning a great deal from the man and his books.

But despite this, you spent most of your time craving his scent, usually curled up against him, breathing in that musk, or wishing you could do as much, keeping close to the owl.

You'd become unreasonably close.

You being Stolas' only and closest friend, he'd become deeply dependent on your, care and your intimate contact, loving the way you'd hug him, expecting nothing in return.

You, adoring his scent, became something of a scent junkie. You taking any opportunity to breath in that distinct avian musk, his feathered form creating a unique and distinct scent you couldnt get enough of.

You spent countless hours together, just curled up. You nuzzling his fluff as he read to you, the both of you happy with the arrangement.

But despite your bliss, your relationship's defining moment would be when your mother caught you with the Prince.

She wasn't demon royalty, something you both thanked Lucifer for.

Though that didn't stop her from chewing you both out, though she targeted you specifically, being her son and ya know, not demon royalty.

She chewed you out, berating you as she demanded you never have such inappropriate contact with a Goetia ever again.

After this the two of you would spend several months apart, even as you both desperately craved each other's embrace, you couldn't risk getting caught, and with your increased duties, you both had work to do.

No chance to sneak off.

In the time you spent apart, you quickly became a servant, working your very hardest to become a trusted and valued servant.

With you working your ass off, you'd eventually end up in Stolas' vicinity.

He was eager to greet you, hoping to rekindle the relationship you once had, the man missing you dreadfully during your separation.

Yet as you walked past the man, you stonewalled him, walking past him like he was nothing.

Stolas' hope dampened, the man going back to the depressed state he was in before. His mood always dampened, believing you never wanted to be near him again.

Yet after a few weeks, Stolas finally giving up on you, falling into a deep depression, believing his only friend had abandoned him, was shocked as one day, as he walked down the halls of his palace, he'd suddenly find himself yanked into a nearby closet.

You'd hug the man close, holding him for several minutes, nuzzling his fuzzy chest, practically huffing his scent.

Stolas, recovering from the shock of the sudden turn of events, smiled. Tears forming in his eyes as he held you close, the two of you holding each other for several minutes as Stolas shed tears, so very happy to hold you again.

You'd talk for some time, speaking softly as you apologised for ignoring him, but you had to play your part, not wanting to blow it before working your way to a position of standing amongst the staff. You taking the occasional sniff of the owl as you explained it to him.

Stolas meanwhile just held you close, relishing your embrace, telling you he didn't care. He was just happy to have you back, missing you dreadfully.

You'd talk, quickly agreeing not to act on your mutual impulses in public. Both of you thinking clearly.

It'd quickly become a part of your daily routine, you always snatching him into a nearby closet, stolas loving the surprise, giggling madly as you held him, you huffing his chest, the man happily holding you close as you both stood there, relishing each other.

This was a common occurrence, and the only thing that kept him sane as he endured the monotony of Royal life.

It became even stranger as you grew, Stolas becoming a lanky, yet powerful man, you still remaining the itty bitty Imp you were as kids, the man now more than triple your height.

Stolas came to love this size difference, never stating as much in plain words and yet he adored the difference, the avian relishing the power dynamic.

It was funny.

Once youd been enough to pin him to the ground, yet now. Now he held you so easily, the man holding your form like e would a stack of books, and yet holding you was even easier.

But ehat he really found funny was that you still believed you held the power.

You never outright said it, but it was clear you believed you were in charge, you usually being the one to drag him into a closet or private room.

It'd be not long after Octavias birth, you taking your natural place as his right hand as Stolas ascended to head of the household, though your position mostly worked as a cover to worship the man's form when in private, an arrangement he was mostly satisfied with.

Stolas, maturing, grew more confident, his form becoming more dominant, the man deciding he wanted your relationship to become more than it was.

It'd be one day, you attempting to pull the man into a private room that he'd finally take command.

He'd resist your pull, you freezing before looking towards him, concerned you'd been caught.

But instead, you found your face forced into his chest fluff, holding you there as youd stare up at him, eyes widening as Stolas simply smirked at you, the avian gripped the base of your skill, fingers gripped between your horns as you breathed in his musk.

With a smirk he'd hold you there for several minutes, out in the open, relishing the look of shock, then realisation in your eyes as he felt an odd sense of submission, finally feeling the mans power over you.

He was in control.

In Command.

The man claming and relishing this new and odd power dynamic.

Leaning in, he kissed your forehead, you already hooked on his scent as he cooed, telling you he'd handle it.

It'd be as you finally pulled back, Stolas holding you tight. And after panting hard you'd look to him, the owl smiling smugly, leaning in to tell you bluntly.

"Your mine. And you'll do as I say. Understand?" He spoke softly, yet with a commanding edge, a tone used by royalty, staring down at you.

Seeing the man's crimson gaze staring at you, you'd gulp, nodding your head, submitting to the man. Only for the man to shove your face back into his fluff, relishing the newfound power he held over you. Loving your reaction. Your... submission. The man feeling this power for the first time in his life, yet finding it, delightfully Sinful.

This marked a distinct shift in your relationship, the man taking charge from that moment forwards.

You found your relationship change over night, the man taking a dominant stance from that moment forwards. Taking command on your dynamic.

It was... odd. Yet you adored the affection he showed. His power almost as addictive as his scent.

The man became the dominant partner in your relationship. As he always would, yet lacking the confidence to embrace his role.

It became a power trip for the man.

He was so used to you being in control of your meetings, when and where about them that when he took charge, it took a minute or two to get used to being in charge.

It didn't take long though, the man relishing his new found power over you, adoring the way you submitted to him, Stolas especially loving the way you loved his scent.

It was almost funny how quickly the demon came to dominate you, the owl wearing a near sadistic smile as he'd hold you down, face smashed into your chest, or his pits, knowing you loved it, that only making it even better for the man.

Stolas, while it woukd take time, with Octavia being born and thr boost of his confidence and ego from dominating you, along with his love for you, the man would divorce his wife as he went through a slight power trip, taking you as his lover.

He'd spend days holding you close, holding you to his musky, avian form. Holding you to his musty feathered chest. He'd forgo perfumes, preferring to expose you to his natural scents, loving how docile you became.

It was quite the power trip for the owl, the man relishing having you close, and seeing the power he held over you, the man felt like a lord. A king in his own right, his love for dominating you only eclipsed by his love for you.

You of course, adored him, loving the owl with every fibre of your being, ensuring you treated him like a king, A God, adoring every inch of the man you could, something Stolas relished every second of.

It'd take some time, especially with the divorce in progress, yet after winning, mostly with your moral support and gaining majority custody of his daughter, the man became even more drunk with power over you.

You became a pet, yet in the very best ways. The man adoring you as much as you did to him.

The man loved you, loved being with you, and how youd be with him.

The owl relished the way you'd submit to him, his favourite ability being to grab you and shove you into his chest, making you huff his scent till you were drunk on him, the owl utterly dominating you.

It was an absolutely unbalanced relationship, Stolas holding all the power, thr man loving the fact, but put simply, so did you.

Stolas was your S/O and master, and you loved every second of it, breathing in the man's element yet sinfully delightful scent.

tbh vassago is a character i fucking hate on principle alone because what do you MEAN you got the same guy who played a genuinely badass fat nerd glasses wearing gay vampire hunter to voice a gay goetia.. WHO DOESNT EVEN LOOK LIKE A GOETIA BECAUSE HES NOT!?!?? they just snatched his design from the pilot when they showed off all the overlords during vaggies exposition dump and went, "well, here's a bird that looks kind of cool! lets just slap him in here!" the lack of effort pisses me of so bad! because there's no reason for him to be modern day, or a pirate, or be a parrot, or whatever. i get that there's barely any lore on vassago compared to stolas or asmodeus, but it's like they did the bare minimum to make a character and knew fans would eat that shit up, and they certainly have been.

and that's not even mentioning how you can tell they blew the budget to give him a good amount of speaking parts that just. consist of him being stolas's cheerleader. for NO reason. not even a passing, "we used to talk at stellas parties," or, "we met at the richest cup cafe," or anything. are you fucking kidding me. did you need that many lines of him hispanically hyping up bird frollo THAT bad that you just forgot to give him a reason to even like stolas to begin with

he was a useless character who did nothing for the episode, didn't even try to contact stolas like his nervous finger tap foreshadowed, and the money could've been used to allow via and stella and on screen moment of them talking to each other for the first time in the series.. near the end of s2, the almost exact MIDWAY point of this shows story. like yeah it wouldn't have have passed the bechdel test! because stool ass! but it would've been something! considering were supposed to give a shit about stolas's family so we can feel extra bad for him when he suffers the consequences of his own actions. anyway i hope 47 ice cream trucks falling from the sky land directly where vassago standing, killing him instantly

😂 Yeah, Vassago is literally from the Hazbin Hotel pilot. He went from potentially being in one bloated demon show to another bloated demon show. Vassago is such a waste of space in terms of screen time, plot wise, and budget.

I was trying to understand the appeal of Vassago because I remember this episode aired my online discord friend fangirled over him when all Vassago did was be Stolas’ bootlicker and argue with Andrealphus about Stolas. Like we get it Vassago, you’re a Stolas fanboy. The only reason I know he is pirate related is because of that dumb X and dots on his official art.

Stolitz is such an interesting ship!

Because on the one hand, it's about a MAGICAL PRINCE who gets swept of his feet by this absolute ACTION-HERO CASSANOVA of an ASSASSIN! It's a Shelter Royal, a Badass Bad Boy who combed his balcony, and a kinky moonlit deal to hold it all together!

There's even a Princess and at LEAST 2 Pop-Stars, AND a long-lost Twin bringing in that Relationship Drama and Hidden Lore! SUCH a Hollywood Romance!

But.

On the OTHER hand... This is the story of two deeply depressed, traumatized men in their 30's, trying to navigate a relationship that's a big more complicated than either of them would like.

BOTH of them have problems relating to alcohol, and NEITHER of them is in the habit of being vulnerable with their feelings! And they're both parents, trying to be better Dads than their fathers were to them.

Mixing business with pleasure is often so messy. Especially when money AND feelings get involved.

Blitzo is a chaotic gremlin with a very *niche* sense of humor, weird taste in snacks, and a number of questionable personal habits. Stolas is a somewhat-pushy, socially-isolated nerd who can't read the room, and has a few bad habits of his own that he needs to kick.

Both have some room for improvements-- and both are at an age where if you want to grow and improve, you gotta do it ON PURPOSE.

They might've fallen in love, might've caught feelings by accident-- but hot damn, THEY WILL LEARN TO LOVE EACH OTHER ON PURPOSE!

Anyway. The duality of the relationship dynamic(s) gets to me, sometimes!

HB Generational Trauma: Paimon → Stolas

→ Octavia

*Before I get attacked, nothing I say is to defend the actions described. I am simply trying to explain and make sense of it.*

Many fans approach the topic of Stolas being a good or bad father with either black and white-good or bad or completely gray answers. The black and white are pretty straightforward, usually going something like "he says this but does this anyway" or "he's neglectful", which are all valid opinions here. As well as the gray opinions, usually saying "he really tries, he just doesn't get it right".

Honesty, I can't say I disagree with any of these opinions honestly. I don't have evidence to back this up, but I have a feeling I know where the writers are going with this. I think they will, maybe sometime soon after hearing via's line in the trailer, have Stolas sort of "wake up" in a sense and realize what exactly he does. Get hit by the good ol' self awareness train, if you will. It's called character development.

I've seen many people call this bad writing but I disagree. I think that's the direction they're going for Stolas's character development. I think with the episodes so spread out, people forget we're only three episodes away from only being halfway through the series as a whole. There's still plenty of room for development.

Anyways, back on topic. Let's look at Paimon and Stolas from the Circus episode. I love the Loo Loo Land parallel with it.

Paimon enjoying himself from home while Stolas is miserable and clearly doesn't want to be there. The only thing that gets him through it without crashing out is Blitzø. Paimon seems to not notice he's even there at all until he starts enjoying himself watching Blitzø. And when he figures out what's making him so happy, he literally buys Blitzø later to keep himself from having to deal with him all day. Of course Stolas is too oblivious and distracted by Blitzø to realize, but that makes complete sense seeing how oblivious he is as an adult.

So now let's look at Stolas and Octavia in the Loo Loo Land episode.

Stolas is enjoying himself, but actually present. Him actually being there is an improvement; however, Octavia's not enjoying herself. She already didn't want to go because she was too old to enjoy it. And on top of that, Stolas flirting with Blitzø the whole time made her uncomfortable (which he was also too oblivious to realize).

I think the parallels here are interesting. Overall I think the writers ave done an excellent job of writing generational trauma, hence the title of this post. Now let's look at Stolas' line from Western Energy:

This line made a slight change in their dynamic from my perspective. It's clear he loves her and would do anything to protect her. Much different from Paimon. I think he tries so hard to be better than Paimon that he subconsciously ends up doing what Paimon does. This is called the ironic process theory or ironic rebound (psychology nerd here, as you can tell). However, the difference between him and Paimon is that he apologizes and recognizes that he made a mistake. He's trying. And even so, what examples of a good dad would he have had growing up that would've guided him in the right direction?

Although he keeps making mistakes, he is still trying. He's not prefect. I think Via knows this; nevertheless, it's hard for her not to get frustrated at him for making them sometimes. Especially when he promised he would do something with her and didn't in Seeing Stars.

No matter the extremity of the efforts made toward doing so, generational trauma will never be completely healed in one generation (look at me using smart words). While Stolas has made a pretty big dent in the healing process, it takes more than one person to erase the trauma. Although Via is as far as the line will go with her being confirmed asexual, I think Stolas has done a lot more for Via than people realize.

I have a few notes about Blitz and Loona on this topic as well. I might wait till after Ghostfuckers in case it gives more info to put in that post

Helluva Boss Agere Headcanons!

A/N: This is only part one, and for this part I’m just doing my favorite characters. But I’ll do more characters in separate parts!

Characters: Blitzø, Moxxie, STRIKER!!! (MY FAV 💗💗💗)

BLITZØ-

Flip, with a little lean!! He’s mostly an age regressor, he needs some way to let out all that trauma and stress. His little ages are about 4-6.

He is VERY chaotic when he’s regressed, like even more so than usual. He’ll run around the IMP HQ, jumping on furniture, leaving his toys everywhere, etc.

Moxxie and Millie are his main caregivers, actually! He loves Stolas, even though he’d never admit it, but he doesn’t trust him enough at the moment to tell him something that vulnerable about himself.

When he’s a caregiver, he’s not really a suitable dad caregiver. He’s more like a silly, chaotic older brother or the uncle that’s fresh out of jail.

He likes to spoil littles, he thinks it’s cute when their faces light up and they start giggling.

Thinks it’s super funny to help littles prank their caregivers. He does this even when he himself is regressed too.

Like. Imagine Little!Blitzø hanging out with Moxxie’s and Millie’s little or something. That would be so chaotic pls.

He LOVES coloring, and he hangs his own drawings up himself. He draws horses a lot. He also gives some of the stuff he draws to his friends and caregivers.

MOXXIE-

Controversial opinion, but flip with a cg lean!! He’s responsible enough to be a caregiver, and he wants kids himself one day so this is good practice he thinks. He does regress sometimes in order to relieve some stress.

He does well with littles of all ages, but he finds that baby regressors are surprisingly the easiest! They aren’t hyper and chaotic like a lot of toddler or kid regressors. He just has to feed them, give them attention, make sure their hygiene is good, etc and it’s fine!

He’ll play his guitar and sing little songs! Maybe while Millie dances around and helps tell stories or sings with him or something.

Him and Millie do everything together, which includes taking care of a little, so if you ask Moxxie to be your caregiver, that’s going to include Millie as well.

He’s actually one of the best people to play pretend with, surprisingly enough. Like it takes him a while to get used to it and he’s not too good at making stuff up on the spot, but when he gets into it, he gets INTO IT.

When he’s little, he also still likes to sing and play his guitar.

He reads kids books a lot or those small little science books for kids.

Or books about history for kids.

He is a nerd. And I love that. Me too, Moxxie.

His caregiver is Millie, of course. And he CLINGS to her when he’s regressed, like hardcore clings. Will not let go of her and has to be at least holding her hand at all times.

STRIKER-

Okay I have a feeling this one is gonna be long. He’s my absolute favorite and I love him so so so so so so so so so so much.

I may or may not have the fattest crush on him.

ANYWAYS

Caregiver! He had absolutely no clue what age regression was before you told him about it, and it took him a while for him to warm up to the idea.

Like it took him a fat minute for him to fully process what it is.

He feels bad when he realizes you do it because of trauma, though.

Like…you had a bad childhood??? You were abused??? Do you want him to like…kill your parents for you…?

Cuz he will. You know he will.

You’re like the only person he feels any amount of sympathy for. It may take him awhile to get used to it, but when he does…MAN.

This guy is clingy and overprotective. If he notices you’re slipping at any time throughout the day, you’re immediately being carried or you have to hold his hand TIGHT for the rest of the day. He knows you’re vulnerable, and he knows it’s very dangerous in hell; obviously, it’s hell. And he wants to keep an eye on you at all times.

The first time you called him “dada”, he blushed. Not because of anything weird but because. Wow. You trust him and love him like that? Like…you care about him and see him as your protector? …Woah.

It takes him a bit to get used to parental nicknames, but he likes it nonetheless!

Does pretty much the same with any type of regressors, but because I’m projecting, I’m gonna say he likes the dependency of baby regressors.

He likes being leaned on and trusted and relied on. And when you’re regressed so deep like that, you need help with a lot of things, and he’ll do them for you.

Feels bad because he can’t be around a lot. He’s got an important and demanding job that he’s absolutely not letting a little baby like you witness.

Unpopular opinion but most Hazbin/Helluva rewrites are shit. And some of them are literally the same thing that happens in canon but in a very worse way, everything needs to be explained in almost an anime monologue way. Etc. And I also hate redesigns that destroy everything that makes the characters's unique, like ripping off Husk's wings, making Angel masculine cause femme presenting is bad I guess, making Stella and Val "ugly" and "fat" cause you know, abusers are ugly and fat and beautiful people cant be ugly lol

In concept redesigns can be fun, because it's not that different from the design process characters go through during production and it's fun imagining what they could've looked like if different choices were made. But it's the "fix it" attitude that makes these redesigns so bad/painful.

I especially hate the Stolas and Lucifer redesigns that make them these "big buffy scary leaders", because it completely misses the point of what these characters are in THIS version of the bible lore (I don't know enough about the original lore to comment on that, but I do know HH/HB is far from the first to change things).

Lucifer being an "nonthreatening silly short king" is literally the point. He's a misunderstood angel who got unfairly punished, because heaven is corrupt. He's not "the literal embodiment of evil that loves ruling his evil minions in hell" and neither does Lucifer want to come across that way, he hates being down there.

Same goes for Stolas. The entire point is that he's supposed to be a "weird lanky bird" who looks nonthreatening and is an outcast among his own species. The guy's just a nerd who wants to read his books and feed his plants in peace and suck some red di--

And ngl, Lucifer and Stolas being the way they are is exactly WHY I fell for them so hard. I usually don't care about interpatations of these characters in other stories.

Once again I feel the need to reiterate that i do not believe that the i.m.p family are in any way "plot armored" or examples of "protagonist centered morality" in any way nor are the villains too weak or stupid.

First off the i.m.p family are not "protagonist centered morality" nor are they purely villains because they are assassin's. Look I have discussed this before but the narrative has never once punished them for being contract killers. No emberlynn isn't "krama" she is just a fun gag character and that's it she isn't meant to show blitz as a "unrepentant murderer" or a "sadistic monster" she was a joke and that's it and do you honestly believe for one second that emberlynn pinkle of all people is innocent? I mean for fucks sake she had a pony jar and I get the feeling that blitz isn't the first person she stalked.

No just because the i.m.p family turned down a single hit on sinsmas doesn't mean they will give up their jobs entirely or go do bodyguard work or something because like I already said bodyguard work just puts them back under the heel of the nobles and they have repeatedly shown that it just isn't their area of expertise.

Another point to consider is millie and how she would feel about all of this. Would it honestly be fair to force millie to give up something she loves just because the some else took issue with it? That's like forcing an artist to give up their craft because someone from another country didn't like their work!

No they are not protagonist centered morality at all, can you honestly say that Martha and her cannabile family, Lyle the miser, the corrupt agents, the hypocrital cherubs (minus collin he's a good boy and yeah having the i.m.p team constantly bully him by always winning would be kinda unnecessaryily cruel but that can easily be fixed by having him spilt with his "friends" sooner rather than later), a Mexican scam artist, a drug dealer and a dipshit director and no they can't have them go up against a charater that's more moral then them because that literally defeats the point of the story!

The dhorks aren't heroes they are just a bunch of nerds in suits that only care about hunting demons to satisfy their hero complex and prove to the world that they were right!! For fucks sake they just left the bodies of their own guys to fucking rot in the hallways!

No the i.m.p family isn't plot armored they have nearly constantly been on the underdog side. They nearly lost to Ronaldo and that's only because he didn't want to wait for desserts as I explained in another post and they would have lost to the dhorks if it wasn't for stolas.

And finaly no the i.m.p Don't have plot armour they are nearly always in aome way captured or beaten by villains it's just they always find a way to turn the tables!

Tldr yeah we could use some tougher villains but none of them hold any moral superotiy to i.m.p and it needs to stay that way.

I am especially hopping that we get a Moxxie and Stolas friendship.

I think it would be nice to see Moxxie and Stolas being nerds info dumping each other.

     This was fine, you were fine. Sure, you were currently waiting to see the love of your life, the prince who you were kept from for decades. This was it, your chance to finally go back to him, to finally have him back in your arms. Satan's sake, that clock in the corner was far too... loud wasn't the right word. It was normal, just making you aware of the passage of time, both present and past.

     ...Annoying, that was the word. Although that still didn't feel right. Disquieting? No, that wasn't it either. Stolas would probably know the word, being a little, adorable nerd. Did he still wear those adorable glasses? You hadn't seen them in any pictures during your time forced away from him, but maybe he only wore them in private? You remember when you used to wipe the tears from underneath the lenses, the looks of adoration Stolas had given you through them, and every other emotion possible in his eyes. His beautiful, mesmerizing eyes.

     You were getting nervous now. Stolas was taking his time, and you wondered if maybe he wasn't interested in seeing you again. You wouldn't blame him, you didn't even try to fight back when you were "forbidden from seeing him." Yeah, Paimon would've crushed you, but you could've atleast tried. Plus, Stolas supposedly has a new man in his life. Why were you even here?

     "Because you're selfish," you mumbled to yourself. You wanted Stolas to be happy, but here you are, waltzing back into his life just like the two of had waltzed before. Except this time, you were the one butting in, not Paimon. Your brain was telling you to leave, to disappear again and save you both the heartache. But your body didn't move an inch, facing the fears you wanted to cower from.

     Damn, that clock was getting to you, and you still couldn't find a word to describe it! Stupid, idiotic, useless, guilt-inducing, depressing, none of them worked. It was the only thing saving your mind from tearing itself apart and it was just as frustrating as your own feelings. Stolas never would've bought something like that, the clock was definitely from Stella. And then, you started thinking about her.

     That lady made your blood boil. She was a status obsessed bitch, and you hated her for it. Why did she get to be the one to be with Stolas? You were there and ready, you would've actually loved him, unlike that overgrown brat. Yeah yeah, Stolas was supposed to produce an heir and you were both guys, but still! Magoc is everywhere in Hell, there had to be something, right?

     It didn't matter now, though. Stolas already went through that pain, and you couldn't even hold him as he cried. You couldn't wipe the tears away. You couldn't sing a song just well enough to soothe him. You, the man who promised to protect him with your life, couldn't be his knight in shining armor, because you were a coward!

      ...That's it, that clock was going to be smashed. You couldn't take it anymore, it needed to be stopped at the least. You stood up and marched to it, ready to turn it into tiny splinters. You almost didn't hear the voice behind you. Almost.

     "Y/N...?"

     "Stolas, I-"

     "Y/N!"

     Stolas had gotten stronger apparently, as he fully tackled you to the ground, knocking over everything in the way. You could see the tears falling from his eyes, as a wide grin filled his face. He held on to you tightly, and you embraced him as well, tears also forming.

     "I can not believe this is real. I thought that I would never see you again."

     "Yeah, this is real. So are the pieces of whatever you knocked me into sticking in my back."

      "Oh goodness, let me help you up."

     Ironically enough, you landed on the clock, breaking it in half, leaving you with a slight sense of satisfaction. You didn't dwell for long though, as Stolas had you sit down with him on a nearby couch.

     "It's... been a while, are you-"

     "Stolas, I'm so, so sorry for everything. I should have been there for you, I should have protected you, I-"

     "Y/N, please, there is nothing to apologize for."

      "But there is! I should've been there for you!"

      "And you would've been killed by my father if you did. I...I know I can't convince you that you don't have to apologize, so I want to accept your apologies for everything."

     "I don't deserve you Stolas."

     "You absolutely do, alright? "

     "Heh, yeah... um, I don't want to intrude into your personal business, but I saw you were with someone else, and I wanted to let you know that, even though I still love you, I don't want to interfere with your relationship."

     "Ah, Blitzø. I...I do love him, but our relationship is complicated, to say the least. There is far too much to really get into, and besides, I want to spend time with you. You've always had a piece of my heart, you know."

     "I know, I know. Should we do dinner maybe? Catch up then?"

     "That sounds delightful. Oh, and Y/N?"

     "Yes?"

     "Thank you, for coming back. I've missed you."

     Stolas took ahold of your hand, gently brushing your knuckles. You missed this, you really, really missed this. You and Stolas made eye-contact, and before either of you knew it, you were kissing.

Fantastic new episode of Helluva Boss.

(Slight spoilers below)

Ozzie and Fizz are fucking adorable. We finally get Stolas asking for help with the crystal dot IMP after being teased with that in the first episode of the season (which I guess was only a few episodes ago but it feels like forever). Also, Stolas is such a nerd. Love that for him.

But of course the main star of the episode is the backstory on Blitzo and Fizz, which is just perfect. I mean damn, the Blitzo trauma! I feel like we finally understand the depth of his self hatred and his relationship with both Fizz and his sister, plus also why he feels so unworthy of every other relationship in his life. The people he has been closest with have been hurt by him so badly. He assumes that the people who stick around don’t see him for who he really is because if they really knew him and what he has done, they would hate him as much as he hates himself. I think Blitzo is convinced that he can only ever have superficial relationships because if people got to know him, it would only be a matter of time before they left him. I hope he gets to see that isn’t the case with Stolas, but also that it isn’t the case with M&M or Loona either.

Anyway, great episode. Loved it.
