#poorly drawn mdzs#better drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#lan wangji#Woah...it's been a whole *year* since I took the leap and uploaded my 'first attempt' art.#It's outdated now but it holds a special place in my heart for the fact it started all of this off.#Calling this 'poorly-drawn' was always about accepting that my art was going to be imperfect and messy - and doing it anyways!#There has been a staggering number of times I have drawn something I almost didn't upload because I didn't think it was 'good enough'#only for someone to say they liked it - or that it made them laugh. And it has helped me realize -#-The worst critic for my work has always been myself. If I listened to it all the time...well we would not be here now B'*)#And now that I have dabbled in other fandoms I can truly see how lucky was to start out with the MXTX fans.#The supportive messages and tags have truly been a guiding force toward my artistic and self improvement.#I really can't describe how grateful I am.#Thank you for seeing something worth rooting for when I was just figuring things out.#Thank you for being sweeter than the candy I have strategically hidden in the nooks and crannies of this house.#But watch out! If you forget to find them we will get ants.#I remembered to not hide chocolate in the bed this year. Yes I know it melted last time. Yes it did stain. Might be the 10 pm talking but all the people yelling about how the only ethical choice is to burn everything Neil Gaiman has ever touched creatively, especially his comics, tv adaptations, and good omens in any of its forms, are really giving him an incredible amount of sole auteur credit he frankly doesn’t deserve in these instances and i can’t help but feel that’s falling into his weird celebrity trap. im sure he’d love to hear what a special irreplaceable genius in charge of everything he’s ever touched you think he is lol
(Side note i cannot speak about his actual solo work because i have never finished a single one of his solo books so it’s not really my issue to have feelings with there. But by all means don’t buy any more of them new if you feel right about that)

Remaining kitties for the garden
Here are all the kitties who didn't make it to the website and their pet screens c:
^The regular kitties (The nothing option would make Error show up and just kinda glare at everybody lol and there would be mirror and paper bag options to see Dust and Horror again)
^The winter kitties (The snow option would bring out Blue and Dream, the christmas lights brought Fresh and the stocking was Ink)
^The special pairs (I don't think any of these made it to the polls lol but putting out a bed would bring Horror and Dust together, putting out a rainbow cushion would bring Color and Killer (this was how you would finally be able to pet him) and putting down comic books would bring Epic and Cross, who would finally purr when pet with his bestie)
#UTDR#UTMV#Neko Sansume#My Art#I had some semblance of plot ideas too but this post is already kinda long so I'll dump them all in tags#Error's plotline was going to be about gaining his trust. every time he showed up he would be all grumpy and maybe ruining other cats' toys#And eventually you would get the option to give him a ball of yarn that he'd finally play with#And if you gave him another he would make you a special glove c:#(This would end up letting you pet him and also Reaper without dying lol)#Dust's plot was going to be about getting him his signature hood so he could feel hidden#He would still look grumpy but he would be slightly happier lol#Horror's involved being able to feed him because every other time you saw him he'd be eating trash#Like the way he's eating a receipt in the pet screen^ you would be trying to give him proper treats#There was a plotline to get the apple twins to be friends again because of course there was#It is *me* running it what do you expect lol#Killer's plot was about being able to pet him since he was so powerfully bitey#Color was helping him work on it. when he could get Killer away from Nightmare of course#Cross's plot was about him learning to accept affection and purr after he came from a bad home#Epic was intent on helping him relax#I think that's it? There's probably more I'm forgetting but that's most of them at least c:#Like I said in the other post if anybody wants to take any pieces from this and do their own thing feel free!#Maybe I'll draw them as kitties again someday#Also thank you Pidge for reminding me so this didn't sit in my drafts for another 3 weeks lol

I think Toriel would totally get one of those projectors that show the stars to Sans. Maybe it came up that he loves astronomy or maybe Frisk or Papyrus let her know in secret, heck! Maybe it's from all of them. I think he wouldn't really know how to take it. Like bro sees it and goes '*oh neat.' and actually he's fucking dying inside.

His facial hair is definitely accounted for! Good good#And keeping his hat and banjo as props hehe hey if Stein gets to be all stitchy then Wander can be a bit quirky it's fine!#There's an explanation! It makes sense so it's fine! Lol#That really is my favourite part honestly it's rearranging [character] until they're puzzle-piece shaped <3 There's the spooks to it!#And I love the spooks :) The therapists get the least amount of Pain and Suffering but they're excellent spookage set dressing#Wander's great for that because he Can get a little in his head about him feeling helpful > actually being helpful#Which I think is Perfect honestly <3 He's such a great fit I love him#I didn't see much of the other therapists - Wilson got the double feature! I do want to check out the others'#But from the descriptions there didn't seem to be anyone specializing in kids' mental health?? Which is weird to me! There's kids there!#I mean even if he didn't specialize in pediatric therapy he'd still decorate his office the same way lol he just leaned into it#It's cozy in here ♪ Inviting!
