Can we just sit for a minute and try to process the weird double-think some people have with FeMC stuff being excluded?

“It would be too much time/effort/cost to put in the initial release, so it’s going to be DLC” = if it’s too much to put in the initial release, then you’re implying that it would be so much content that it would go beyond DLC. Hell, even P3P’s existence justifies this: it’s an entirely separate game, not DLC for FES.

So... if it’s too much effort to put in, in your eyes, why are you even claiming it’ll be DLC at a later point? Even then, it would likely be a ridiculously priced DLC. Y’know, to make up all the extreme labor costs that would result from making FeMC a thing? 

At best, it’s going to be a new, definitive edition they’ll release two years later. If FeMC is what makes or breaks the game for you, you’re still better off waiting and watching P3R through a youtube playthrough. At worst, it’s never coming.

Up until the trailer, I truly believed that the Minecraft movie was going to be 100 percent animated. Because it wouldn't make sense to do any live action. It's a game about blocks. Why would you have live action components?

I've been working on catching up on the event stories since they announced the upcoming main story update! (I totally bombed the last few events...they're so fast-paced and I just didn't have time...😭)

i hope everyone who preaches about how the only way to enjoy fandom spaces (especially in this fandom) is by strictly abiding by canon interpretations and thinks everyone else is ruining fandom spaces remembers that uwu baby cutesy dream is not in fact fanon but very much so how dream is canonically portrayed so if you want to stick strictly to canon and villainize fanon you’re gonna have to make that guy fucking insufferable and infantilized to hell and back sorry. it’s canon and if you do anything else you don’t actually deserve to be in the fandom that’s just how it works i guess

Forever thinking about the period of time before Stan fully regained his memory. Especially from Ford's perspective. Because, like, that's the brother he has just now almost lost and he is so immensely grateful that he hasn't. But here he is, watching their grand niblings and Soos tell Stan all kinds of stories about the time they spent together. And Ford realises that, aside from their childhood, he doesn't have anything to add. Because of course he mattered to Stan SO much. He knows that now, even if he failed to recognise that before. But his role in Stan's life has been mostly defined by his absence and the pain that it caused. So here Ford is, absolutely refusing to leave his brother's side but also being... well, not unable, just not ready to help. Because helping would mean having to tell Stan that they had been apart for most of their lives for reasons that were partly Ford's fault. And of course this won't last long and Ford will eventually tell his brother what happened between them and they will get over it. But for a short but painful while Ford sees a Stan who only remembers Soos and the kids, a Stan who is for once genuinely carefree and happy and wonders, whether maybe it's better this way, maybe that's his punishment for all of his wrongdoings. That maybe he deserves to have one of the very few people who have ever mattered to him remember everyone but him. That maybe Stan deserves to have his family back, but Ford does not.

Listen, there are things that I wish had been done differently these past couple of episodes... but one of the absolute highlights for me has been the relationship between Lucy and Grey. There were glimpses of this already last season. Like when he chose to ride with her to check up on her and see how she was doing after all she went through... or when he appointed her as acting TO for a day... Technically, this was just him doing his job. But it's the way he did it - with empathy. He was not doubting her. It's the way he had no problem letting Tim know that if it came down to it, he would choose Lucy over him... In a season where it sometimes felt like she was alone, Grey had her back.

And so it is nice to see the continuation of this. To know that one of the first decision he took as Lieutenant was to pull strings and temporarily promote her to P3 so she could be a TO. But my favorite part is how he presented this to her. He made sure to emphasize how she was doing him a favor, how he would owe her one... And what makes this even better is this part of their dialogue : "I won't let you down" / "I know you won't".

This is such a contrast to his previous answers, to Tim when he became a Sergeant ("I won't let you down" / "Sure you will")... or to Nolan when he became a TO ("I just didn't want to mess anything up" / "Oh, but you will"). This is exactly what Lucy needed to hear after the detective exam. And Grey proved that he meant what he said in that last episode. After he was done reprimanding Seth for his mistakes, you could see Lucy bracing herself for the worst, how she was afraid she had disappointed him (we know this is one of her biggest fear). Instead, he asked her for her honest opinion. Showing her that he trusts her judgment. And again, I think it's important that she knows that... and I can't wait to see more of this mentorship.

Well put! And there's a bizarre notion out there that this is somehow "juvenile" - as if wanting characters to work on their relationships and grow and change is childish, compared to having them give up and move onto something shiny and new.

What also bothers me about the whole Lila/Diego/Five bullshit is how it basically gives the message that married life sucks.

That once you get kids, a house, "boring" jobs and daily tasks, the romance goes to shit and your life is basically ruined.

Like...no. That was not supposed to be the message! Make them talk! Voice their problems with each other! Rediscover their passion for one another! Make them see how badass and adventurous their family life can be! Make them understand how lucky they are! How depsite of losing their powers and the thrill of what their chaotic life used to be, their new family life can be just as adventurous! Different, yes, but not worse!

I would love to see them grow as a couple. To see them overcome their pasts and embrace the change. To see them finally snap and realize they love each other. That it's still them against the world, but now it's also their family against the world.

But no, i guess it's better to make them fall apart and make the whole relationship toxic in the end 🤷🏼‍♀️ oh and turn Lila into a cheater...with her husband's brother. How truly epic...smh.
