i should have learnt ukrainian as a child i rlly should have it would have been cool languages are so cool
#grandma took me to ukrainian orthodox catholic church as a child but i never understood anything bc i don't speak the language#and mass was in Ukrainian of course#im not religious tho but it would be cool to understand what the fuck goes on#gotta go for easter again and I don't understand anything akdnskskks#i only understood when grandpa told me to sit down#and cyka obviously. i have cyka tattooed on my arm#and pryvit#but i don't remember the phrase for sit down#it was. not the one on google#my ukrainian family was quite rude. im sure they were telling me like “sit the fuck down bitch ass brat” but i didn't understand lmaooooo#still nostalgic tho#ANYWAYS what im saying is: you should always take the chance lo learn any language#and i had the chance and didn't take it#and now they're all dead wjdkksks#well grandma's alive and well but she's italian actually#she just had to learn some ukrainian bc of grandpa#and she came to Argentina when she was 10 and she's like 78 now so she doesnt remember much Italian either#so i only know insults 👍

bill and his endless loathing for stan, the fact that stan beat him with a trick that they used as a kid and bill seeing all the traits he hates most about himself reflected in stan
stan being able to read bill like a book and encouraging ford to forget about that creep, while part of him is still stuck thinking about bill and realising the extent bill hurt his family back when he was completely oblivious to him
the contrast of bill being offered the chance at redemption for destroying his world but refusing it, while it's been stated that stan knowingly risked the destruction of the world all for the chance of being redeemed

what are your favorite ninjago seasons?
Rise of the Snakes, HANDS DOWN.
I've rewatched it so many times, and I adore this season, it's so nostalgic, and easy to digest, it brings me back to when I was 12 years old searching "Lloyd gets revenge against the ninja" on youtube only to instantly get spoiled that he was the green ninja LOL. (twelve years old me really thought he was going to become a major villain and I WAS READY TO EMBRACE THAT)
altought I also rewatch Dragon Rising alot? Probably cuz it's easy to watch it and similiar to season 1, it just feels like I'm eating a snack.
I also really like Possesion and March of the oni, but that's mainly becuase of the opening? like the opening of the season is just so cool.
and I feel like seabound is one of my top favorites becuase I am AWFUL at dealing with that type of stuff so I was sobbing so hard in the end. Same with Sons of Garmadon.

#idk if its still animation or if itd be live action here. live action is more fun to think about but animation would be more practical#im thinking it was originally a tv show very very very loosely based off of red’s journey bc he was the worlds youngest champion#but after red retreated from the public into mt silver the execs decided to distance the show from that direction and make it its own thing#red used to hate the show but as an adult he finds it super endearing and nostalgic. he doesnt rewatch kanto often tho#the characters are done by actors ofc but the episodes with the champions are the actual champions guest starring in them#echoed voice

Finally done with teen wolf rewatch. Phew
#took me like 3 months#thought I was gonna watch a few eisodes I like because I was feeling nostalgic one evening now I finished the whole thing lol#not the movie tho I don't vibe with it#one of a few things I noticed is that scott smiles fondly at stiles' remarks a lot :')#anyway thinking about how each character change along the way#lydia is like a completely different character from the first seasons#since I'm biased I love the dynamic change with scott and stiles#like they kinda swapped roles a bit but still remain themselves??#scott develops from an awkward teen only caring about living normal life when he has more people to protect and learning to become a leader#he's almost unrecognizable from the first ep too#for stiles. he has character development of course but I think he himself hasn't changed much#even if he said they're not kids running in the woods anymore#he's still the mischievous sarcastic lil guy we know showing up at scott's house. running around looking for trouble & helping people#he always has that dark & anxious side#it's us that know more and more about different sides of him as the story goes on#from the start it's just the two of them against the world. now they're holding hands with their friends facing the world#anyway this show did get a little weird and inconsistent which is not surprising consider how long it went#the scripts also revolve around actor/actress availability also#so many characters with interesting dynamic what wasn't given time to explore#free real estate for us fans

I should probably go back and watch more of the PJO episodes since I only did 2 of them but... it's just such a rewrite of the books, and the way most posts in my feed praise it, or claim its better or improving the original... Ehhh. Call me old fashioned but I like my slow-burns, here it feels like everything from the endgame is already set in stone.
