just got of work and I was thinking,,, my two female pcs are fierce, could (and will) kill for the person they love, strong and have a dominant heart. and my two male pcs are both submissive little guys, both soft and squishy tormented creatures.

i am OBSESSED with that one yandere hantengu clone art! but i do wonder, did you change their appearance a bit to make them look alike but at the same time not? this is hard to explain, but i observed the clones nose shape, sekidos hair being more different than the others, and facial structures making them each being different. very sorry if this doesn’t make sense it’s hard explaining what i noticed (T ^ T)

I think I understand what you mean, don't worry! you did wonderfully!

and basically, yes and no!

Some things were probably accidental (like facial structure), but the purposeful tweaks were their eyes and hair yeah!

I wanted the viewer to be able to tell the difference between them without being explicitly told who's who.

I've heard that depending on what expression you're making often, it changes how you rest your face, and I wanted that to translate into how i drew them!

that and if you look REALLY closely, there are some subtle differences between them all in the anime/manga, so i accentuated those and added my own spin to it too.

So, if i were to draw the four making a neutral expression, it'd look something like this!

And that would HOPEFULLY be enough to give you an idea about who's who while also keeping their faces EXTREMELY similar yet a little different at the same time

but knowing me....... i'd probably still make it super obvious.......

I changed their nose because Hantengu had a sharp nose, and I thought it'd be hot cool to see them with one! I have no excuse for the eye bags and dimples.. they look like they have the type of hot guy aura to have those traits............... orz

i try not to forget small details but i probably do sometimes making them look different //slams head against wall

what compelled you to inscribe the centipede upon your flesh

Firstly just cuz centipedes are pretty!

I wanted something organic that would wind up my arm so it'd shift and writhe in a lifelike way when i twist my forearm :^)

My sibling with a tattoo gun only has the kind of needle thingy that does lines, and not the kind that inks in larger areas, so I thought the segmented body of a centipede would make for lovely line work. I've thought abt having it shaded in by a professional but i like it just fine how it is

I decided to put eyes in between each segment cuz it's freaky and gives it fun pattern and texture variation. I'd doodled some ideas and then we sketched up designs together until we settled on one.

The only actual deep meaning behind the tattoo is just that my sibling and I worked together and they did the ink. The evil centipede our little friend who reminds me of my sibling when I miss them

Finally got around to buying printer ink and popsicle sticks so I could hang @goannafr and @dexaroth 's art of Callie in her cage ♥️

Loki's home and has had his first doses of the medications. Got a chart made to keep track of future doses, should be able to do most of those myself but I've had to enlist my parents for the two times I'll be at work when he needs his meds. Should be able to manage this okay and hopefully he will start improving with these meds

All the vets were in agreement that Loki was the best-behaved hedgehog they've ever seen, they said that normally they have to put hedgehogs in water to convince them to uncurl enough to do an exam but Loki allowed them to examine him without too much protest, and that he cooperated really well with being syringe-fed when they gave him some of that nutrition supplement. He's a very popular boy!

One of the nurses also made the comment of "not everyone can handle exotics, but you can handle exotics. He's clearly really well-socialized and you've obviously done your research" which was really nice to hear especially with all the stress and anxiety about his health lately. Even when I do the best I can and even when it's something outside my control, I still worry that I'm making the wrong choices or am an unfit pet owner when things like this happen, so it was good to have that reassurance
