So like mafia/King/wolf king/warlord Derek idea?? Maybe A/B/O au

After Derek becomes heir to the empire (mafia or otherwise) is told by his council over and over again that he must marry and have an heir. He doesn’t trust his council much less the women they bring before him to marry. He would simply prefer to kill them all but unfortunately that would be directly traced to him.

So he abides by their demands and looks for a consort. So he throws a party, the most lavish party. The night is long and dreadfully boring. Derek thinks that at the worst he may ask Braeden to marry him. They are a little to hot headed and never seem to agree on a subject but at least the sex will be good. He spends most of the night trying not to dance with women who smell far to desperate.

He is ducking behind a column to hide from Jennifer when he hears the most clever and spiteful voice tell off one of his council members. He follows the voice to a vision of nymph dressing down his least favourite council member (maybe Deaton??) . Derek is absolutely taken a back by how the siren uses his words to get his way. Dereks preferred method is violence, and he tells this to the boy as he walks over — “it seems that my council member has overstepped, I usually find violence is my preferred way of dealing with such slights. Would you like he to rip his heart out for you?” — Derek kisses his hand and he basically declares to everyone listen he wishes to preform a courting action.

To Derek’s delight, the god in human form blushes. He thanks Derek for the offer but says he dealt with it his way. — “it is quite the generous offer Alpha, but I must decline as I have found words may be just as effective a weapon I promise you.” — Derek, desperate to not let him slip away asked him for a dance. He hesitantly agrees, but after the one dance they do not stop until the end of the night. 

The council member that had tried to hurt Derek’s future consort was found dead the next morning, of poison. It’s in the moment Derek declares that he will marry the boy from the night before. (Delusional Derek who is fully convinced they are to be married, and is just a tiny bit obsessed)

So he sets out to win his heart, cue shenanigans from him and the entire hale pack. Especially after finding out that Derek’s consorts father is a lawful man. A lawful man who would rather see his son with Parrish or Daehler rather than Derek. But stiles however refuses any means of courting expect for Derek’s. Because he knows the wolf is the only one for him. (If you like this idea please check out @hedwig221b Torn apart and set Anew)

Stiles didn’t care, Derek understood him in most ways that other didn’t. When his father would tell him that Derek was dangerous stiles wanted to shout back that so was he. His father ignored the worst parts of stiles, Scott didn’t even sees them but Derek understood. He didn’t just see stiles as a helpless omega. Derek is super fucking prideful about this and every time he sees Parrish or Daehler he just smirks at them.

Derek throws another party, this one to publicly state his intention to marry stiles. His council members kick up a big fuss about it until Derek reminds them that they are the ones who wanted Derek to have a consort. He abided by the rules. They claimed Derek couldn’t mate a beta but Derek ignored him. (Stiles doesn’t advertise the fact that he’s an omega)

Derek buys stiles a dress and jewels to wear.

Stiles only dances with Derek that night, anytime someone else asks him he refuses. (Parrish). During one of their dances when the music is fast paced and stiles heart is beating out of his chest, stiles spark comes into play and creates ribbons of energy that dance alongside them. So it looks like they are dancing in fire. (This is what kickstarted this idea)

So they marry and stiles helps Derek secure his claim.

Derek over hears his council talking bad about his husband so he kills them and then fucks his stiles pregnant to prove them wrong.

He also drags Daehler before his beloved omega for overstepping, and this time when Derek offers to rip out his heart for stiles, he agrees.

10 Things I Hate About You VS. Wednesday

This is getting weird.

After my Mean Girls post, I began thinking about how 10 Things I Hate About You would fit the world of Wednesday & I couldn't believe how right I was! 10 Things I Hate About You is the teen version of Shakespeare's play, "The Taming of the Shrew," where Bianca is unable to date until her sister, Kat, finds a suitor as well. All seems lost until Patrick Verona arrives with interest.

-Cameron is a new student at the high school similar to Wednesday as she arrives mid-term.

-Both schools have similar architecture.

-Both schools have archery.

Ms. Perky (Guidance Counselor) = Principal Weems

"Nine schools in 10 years. My, my." -Ms. Perky

"Eight schools in 5 years." -Principal Weems

Patrick Verona AKA Xavier

-Patrick Verona was literally the inspiration for Xavier & his whole tortured artist thing since he and Kat have a scene together throwing paint at one another.

-Saves Kat from falling off a table & potential concussion like Wednesday when the statue almost falls on her and Xavier saves her.

-Buys Kat a guitar with money left over from the bet (at the end of film) like Xavier buys Wednesday a cell phone (end of season).

Bianca Stratford AKA Enid/Bianca

"There's more to her than you think. Look at the way she smiles, and look at her eyes, man. She's totally pure. You're missing what's there." -Cameron

-Bianca Stratford, Kat's sister, and splitting image of Enid Sinclair: wears shades of pink/red girly clothing & is bubbly and upbeat which is the complete opposite of Kat.

- Both of Enid's names literally mean purity.

-We literally have a character in Wednesday named Bianca who does share a scene with Wednesday about how she doesn't care what anyone thinks during a small scene with Kat/Bianca & this very subject.

-Bianca has a friend named Chastity who the writers may have switched some traits between Bianca & her and gave her Bianca's name & Patrick/Xavier as a love interest.

- Bianca is looking for a French tutor & though Cameron doesn't know the language, he promises to learn to tutor her. Reminds me of Morticia/the Addams family knowing the French language.

- Mention of a breakup between a random couple again on the quad. Totally not random that Nevermore Academy also has a quad where the final battle goes down.

-Bianca mentions Kat should try a change in her appearance that reminded me of Enid commenting on Wednesday's dress that she arrived at the school with & how it was a hazard.

-Investigates Kat's room for dating information. Could potentially be something later on.

-Convinces Kat to go to a party and be normal just like Enid does several times in Wednesday like with the Poe Cup, etc.

-Bianca & Patrick do share one moment/scene together where he asks Kat "who knocked her up".

-Ashamed to be Kat's sister which definitely lines up more with Bianca in the beginning of the season rather than Enid who was open to being Wednesday's friend.

-Punches Joey in the face and defending Cameron/Kat similar to Enid wolfing out & stopping Tyler from attacking Wednesday in his Hyde form.

Katarina "Kat" Stratford AKA Wednesday

-Kat literally represents everything about Wednesday: her cleverness, wit, rebellious attitude.

- "The way you expressed your opinion to Bobby Ridgeway? By the way, his testicle retrieval operation went quite well." -Ms. Perky to Kat

This is literally a parallel to Wednesday setting the piranhas on the boys terrorizing her brother and how its later said the boy lost one testicle. However, Kat's situation with Bobby was caused by kicking himself in the balls. I see you writers 👀. In addition, Kat aids Ms. Perky in a synonym for a word she is looking for as she's writing an erotic novel. Another parallel to Wednesday though she's all about crime.

-The way Julia Stiles (who plays Kat) moves her facial muscles & her eyeballs to represent emotion just radiates emotion. Just look at the scene in the music store!

- Likes feminist prose while Wednesday has Mary Shelley as an idol she's trying to best.

-Gets called a psycho by her sister for maiming a vehicle.

-Big dance scene at a party where Kat knows how to move her body!

-Mother issues similar to Wednesday with Morticia.

-Kats plays guitar, Wednesday the cello.

-People are scared of Kat/Wednesday.

-Kat says her father wants her to be someone she's not (like Bianca) which reminded me of Wednesday's conversation with her mother about how she'd never be a housewife, a mother, etc.

-"The impressive patriarchal values that dictate our education." -Kat Stratford

“So you were guided by latent chivalry, the tool of the patriarchy, to extract my undying gratitude?” -Wednesday

❌ What’s a trope you will never write?

I don't know if this is necessarily a trope, but I will NEVER write a fic that romanticizes mental illness. Back in the day, when I wrote x reader fics and took requests, someone requested something that bordered on that. I couldn't find a way around the romanticization aspect, and remains to be the ONLY fic request I've ever turned down.

Like I'm okay with writing trauma fics, but I refuse to write one that romanticizes PTSD, depression, etc. because that's not okay and gives misinformation. Some people - especially when they're young - use fic as a form of therapy and almost take it too seriously. I won't feed into unhealthy coping mechanisms because they once read it in a fic and think the romanticization is healthy and okay.

I'm needy and need validation, so if I don't get comments and feedback with every single chapter, I will give up on the project.

Dude! Someone needs to make me a Stiles Stilinski FBI trope fic thing…..

Like y’all have no clue how I LIVE for stiles fics where he’s in FBI.

Idk for what the storyline would be, maybe like reader grew up as his and Scott’s other best friend. Reader and stiles always had something for one another, but they both never act on those feelings. Come to after they all move both stiles and reader move on from Beacon Hills together and wether they go to collage together or not they end up both going into the FBI and end up being one another’s partners. Reader and stiles end up getting into a fight over something and it messes with their partnership (everyone is like “yo what’s up with you too. You guys never fight…”). Then they end up having to go on a case and the reader ends up hurt in some way. When readers getting surgery or something stiles calls Scott in a huge fit saying something about it being all his fault that reader was hurt and Scott quickly calms stiles down. In the end stiles ends up sitting next to the reader till she wakes up then he’s all like “I’m so sorry.” And the readers all like “what for?” Then stiles breaks down about almost losing the reader and she just holds him as he cry’s. When he’s done crying he just blurts out that he’s in love with the reader and reader just says something like “took you long enough.” Or something like that and in the end they end up happy to be with each other and cuddling on the readers hospital bed.

Dude you don’t get how much I need a fic like this for stiles….. like I’m dying to read a super angsty but lovey dovey stiles Stilinski FBI fic. Like 😩 I neeed it!!! Someone please write it for me?!

I have a question for all you Peter Maximoff fans and fic writers!

What would you say would be Peters favorite movie of all time? I’m asking for a friend, she’s writing something and said she wanted to put in Peter watching a movie with the reader, but she had no clue what movie to put.

I said Star Wars, but she said she didn’t think that fit Peter well enough. So can y’all please help my friend out and list some movies you think Peter would love.

Dude! Do you all know what I have just seen!!! 😱

Ok a little explanation before I show you proof. So I’ve started my 31 days of Halloween a little early and the first movie on my list is the Addams family.

Growing up I’ve always had a crush on Gomez, because I thought he was interesting and the way he treats Morticia (that’s a whole other story as well…. I will gladly tell you guys that one if you’d like).

But I just realized this little detail on AHS:

Ok guys.....

Can we like please talk about this nobody has talked about it yet.

But I myself really love the fact that Julie not only in character but in style changes.

Like obviously for her full character arc she gose from being timid and not wanting to sing to singing about her feelings and being open about almost everything.

BUT!!!

Did you happen to notice that her outfits change with her.

Like we start out with her dressed as this shy girl who’s not wanting any attention and she just wants to bask in her sadness; hence the big shirts and hat she wears at the very beginning so she can hide her face and body from the world.

Then

As time gose on we slowly see her outfits change to something she’s more confident and happy in and not to mention she starts to wear her mother’s old clothes, like that’s another beautiful meaning right there.

Because when Flynn is folding the clothes and putting them away for her Julie says how scared she was to wear her mother’s clothes.

It’s almost like she’s embracing her mother’s personality and ways.....

If this isn’t beautiful I don’t know what is.

Let’s be honest tho all the outfits are awesome just like the whole show. I love the little details about this one show I noticed something new laterally every time I watch it.

Ok, can somebody and I mean anyone please make me a Dylan fic where he dyes his hair without telling the reader then he sends her this picture:

After he actually gets it done and at first the reader is in pure shock and doesn’t answer when he calls on FaceTime, but when he calls the second time she answers. Then readers all like “it’s not that I don’t like it, it’s just strange cause I’ve only ever seen you with darker hair,” then he smiles and she’s then like “but I’m sure as soon as I’m use to it I’ll think it’s very sexy,” and Dylan’s just like “of course you will baby,” idk how to end it tho.

I just think it’d be very cute and funny.
